Tacos Manuel is highly rated for its delicious and affordable tacos. Customers rave about the taste and the friendly service from Manuel. The al pastor tacos are popular, but sometimes unavailable. One customer had a negative experience with a huarache.
Tip: The tacos are generally delicious, but be aware that the al pastor may not always be available. One customer reported the huarache de asada was too salty.

One of my favorite taco restaurants! It’s a famous food truck! All menus are yummy and reasonable price. Every time I order every menu and share it with family.
I'd like to start this off saying that I definitely recommend you stopping by if you're in the area. The staff here is very friendly, bilingual, and helpful. I've tried all their meats, and while they're all very tasty, I prefer the al pastor. Just the right amount of spice and flavor, make sure you top it with lime to really make it pop. Their tacos are a good price for what you get and their burritos are a generous portion to say the least. All in all this place is a great value. They're quick too! I'll be coming back from time to time for sure.
This spot is beyond me. The meat, tortilla, onions and cilantro work together perfectly. Every bite I took had me hyped for the next one. Do yourself a favor, if you find yourself in Santa Ana? Make a stop here, and enjoy heaven in a tortilla.
The best tacos around , love the owner he's a very nice guy good customer service thank you Manuel 👍👍
OMG best Tacos in the area you have to give them a try it was a referral I was in the area and asked a person from a store which I was in
Luckily stumbled across this food truck while working in the area recently. What a treat! I enjoyed a carne asada burrito and it was absolutely delicious.
One of the best taco trucks in OC. Great price too. On the weekends their Tripas, Carnitas, and Cabeza tacos are available and they are worth it.
Fast service and good tacos. I recomend this place if you are looking for street taco flavor
Querés unos tacos muy ricas. Then you came to the right place. You won't regret it.
Delicious tacos, cheap prices and friendly staff! 100% recommended.
This taco stand is always busy which leads to some really fresh food. I recommend going after 1pm. Good spot.
Good value for AMAZING tacos. My go to local spot. They have a taco Tuesday seal as well which is a plus!!
By Far BEST STREET TACOS PEOPLE!. great customer service. Super Delicous Tacos. You must try them!
Love coming here probably come 2 times a week. The asada tacos are really good here with the grilled onions!
Wow such good tacos for a decent price..I wish they could make the tortilla a little bigger.
Delicious!!! Authentic tacos I would say the only one in the area Staff always friendly
Really good ! They also take card. Which is a plus !!! Cabeza, lengua, 2 al pastor = $10.50
Best Burrito and Taco place in Orange County. You have to try all their meat options, especially the exotic meat options.
Absolutely amazing food here! Best authentic Mexican food I've had in California so far.
You can't just eat 3 Tacos . You will find yourself ordering 3 more. Enjoy take the wife & kids.
Good fast tacos, will be coming back
Recommend their mulitas and al pastor and asada. Salsas are very flavorful as well as their grilled onions and peppers.
If u want good tacos.. this is the spot. Tongue, Carnitas, and Asada are the best here. Can't go wrong with ur order.
Great prices, good flavor. We always go back to this specific location and taco truck.
One of my favorite places to get lunch/dinner. Everything on their menu is excellent but I highly recommend their tacos with green sauce.
This is actually a taco truck. It's there 7-days a week and always parked in the same spot. Awesome tacos! You'll pretty much always find a line of peeps waiting their turn. Heck, you'll find police in line as well.
Best tacos!!!!! I have ate at plenty of tacos spots but this one is my favorite. You won't go wrong stoping here for food.
I consider myself to be a Mexican food connoisseur and this place was OMG delicious! The lengua and carne asada was perfectly seasoned and the taco tortillas was perfect! Definitely going out of my way to stop by here again
This is my spot my favorite location and my only place to eat tacos dedicated and loyal to Tacos manuals since day one shout out to the cooks put it down on them tacos and their salsa is bomb as hell I recommend this place always
This place is amazing. Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had.
I try alot of taco truck this one is on my top. Tacos have a great flavor green salsa is soo good . I recommend comming here
Truly fantastic tacos at incredible prices. Most tacos are only $1.25; I typically eat 4. To find it, look for the El Pollo Loco on the corner.
I love this place!!!!! Great tacos!! Great amount of Meat and variety of salsas. One of the best tacos spots in Santa Ana by Far ......
Amazing food. The staff is dope! They are always happy and joyous. Manuel and the girls are always smiling. And to top it off they are super cheap 😁
Delicious, affordable, flavorful & large portions. Highly recommend. jalapeños & grilled onions on side are a must 🤩
The lady is really nice! Gave me a free chorizo taco to try and it was really good! I'll be back to try the el pastor tacos! A+++
Tacos are 🔥 fire here I love being able to order and sit outside let the breeze hit me while I eat and drink a cold coke after work 💕 or n e time I'm craving 💯
Delicious...the tacos are fire!! I will be coming back for more!! The staff is very friendly and have great customer service!!
Street tacos are great!! Glad it's by my house but even if it were not I would travel to eat here.
Love this place. Best tacos in the area. Friendly helpful staff. My Favorites are tripas (weekend only), cabeza and pollo.
I'd have to say this by far the best taco truck in Santa Ana. Every single item on their menu is fantastic, there's no way your gonna be disappointed with anything that you choose.
Trust me when I say it, Tacos Manuel has the BEST TACOS! From carne asada, pollo, al pastor, carnitas, and more to fresh limes and perfect onions! Would give 10 stars if I could 👍🏼
Some of the best carne asada tacos I ever had. Very close to the street tacos of my native México. The service is ESTUPENDO and the prices as well.
Love the tacos. There's nothing like them. I would definitely recommend this place. Authentic Mexican tacos.
Best tacos ever! Specially for a dollar. Line gets a little long sometimes but well worth the wait.
The Carne Asada Quesadillas with grilled onions and the avocado salsa are delicious. Flavorful, tender, and well made...
Best dam tacos hands down. If you want real authentic style tacos go to manuels. I love food and specially good tacos and they gottem.
I have had many tacos in my life from numerous locations. However, this taco truck has the best tacos I have ever had so far in my life.
These $1.50 tacos...you just can't get better than this. Update: I realized this review wasn't doing justice to these tacos. For real, they have the perfect seasoning and flavor. The truck isn't at the regular spot on Mondays. Park on the street, walk up and order heaven. I think maybe the prices went up a little bit to 1.75. I'm not 100% on that but the food is worth it. I'd still pay 2 bucks if they raised prices again because the tacos, as I originally wrote, you just can't get better.
These tacos are amazing. $1.25 for a taco+side of onions+Jalapeno - Can't beat that price. I went there after reading all the great reviews. I was not disappointed. I ordered El Pastor and Chorizo tacos. They were fresh, juicy, tasty, and filling. The grilled onions are mouthwatering. Grilled Jalapeno adds a kick if you like it spicy.
Best carne asada in all of oc. There tacos are really really good. Great salsa choice I like the green. Highly recommend. Best prices due to it being a taco trailer.
Best tacos in Santa Ana!!!. Great flavor, great price (1.25) and quick service. If you crave really good flavorful tacos come here. The only downside is there is no seating. ( I bring my camping chairs and sit under the nice trees).
Always excellent food. Expect a little bit of a wait due to a small kitchen and the their well deserved popularity. These amazing ladies consistently serve some of the best tacos in Orange County. If they only had someone serving corn/elotes to join them it would be heaven on earth.
Hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had! The flavour was phenomenal and everything was made fresh! Anyone wanting fresh street tacos, look no further!
I loved the food. The staff is very welcoming and does an amazing job at getting your food to you proficiently. Accepts normal credit cards and ATM numbers. It caters and does a good job at serving. It's location is perfect because of the convenient parking. Over all a five out of five rating❗❗❗
Best tacos in Perris!!!! Tacos are amazing and they hook you up with grilled onions and jalapenos at no extra charge. Staff is awesome and friendly like if you're going over to your primos house for some tacos and a good time. Highly recommend this spot and hope they stay in their current location.
Good service, amazing food. I'm no connoisseur, but this is quite possibly the best taco truck I've ever visited. Consistently excellent quality across the whole menu. More exotic choices of meat available on Friday/Saturday too, if that interests you.
The best place for tacos in the OC, it could rival some places out in LA as well. Really friendly people serving some super bomb food. The meats are just so tender and the tortilla is gently toasted which makes for an amazing combination. There is no seating and you'll have to park on the street nearby.
I was recommended by my friend here and to be honest it's really good. I have eaten 3 times here and all 3 times had been really good. Highly recommended. 5 🌟
This delightful food truck had some truly delicious food that we loved! Service was prompt, staff was wearing masks, and you wait outdoors so great spot to grab food if you're concerned about safety! Highly recommend.
Omg! They never lose their touch with the tacos and salsa verde sauces. I came back to this place after a long time of quarantine and home cooked food to order some tacos and they taste exactly the same like before: juicy, savory and spicy. I love the way they marinate the meat. However, they increased the price pretty quickly, I guess Covid-19 is to blame. Before Covid it cost 1.00/ taco then 1.25, then 1.50, and now 1.75. They do have Tacos Tuesday when it's only $1/ tacos though. Anyway, with whatever price you pay, I don't think you can go wrong with this place. The wait is not a problem during this this time, it's quick. By the way, I'm not familiar with the rest of their menu.
The food is really good here. Not too salty it has enough saltiness on the tacos and the sauce is really good you can choose 2 hot sauces they make and yeah overall the tacos are really good there 5 out of 5 would eat there again
Great food! Chicken Burritos are my favorite, but the chorizo sopes are amazing also. Also can't go wrong with the tacos. Service can be a little slow at times, but it's worth that wait.
For the best tacos head to tacos Manuel,Asada quesadillas with grilled onions. Salsa have a good kick to them. Service is excellent. Who cares if the line is long as long as the food is great.
Tacos are delicious. The tortillas have oil on them so more flavor and they give you marinated onions on the side which are game changers. All three sauces are good but the guacamole one is the best. $1.50 per taco. $2 for Lengua and Cabeza. Customer service is on point. Manuel is who has helmed me both times I’ve gone.
Carne asada tacos are the best, but all there meats are great. At times it takes time to get your food but it’s all about quality. Grill onions and grill jalapeño will always be add to your order. The green salsa is good, but if you are looking for fire try the red salsa.
A fantastic local place to grab a fantastic taco from there great menu. The food is always cooked fresh, and hot ready to go!!.or grab a seat on the grass and relax with your meal. A great place for the family to get out and enjoy a hot meal. I highly recommend this place. Enjoy.!!!! Michael phd.
I love this place. People will always have something to complain about that's why it shouldn't matter what they say. Come and experience it yourself. I'm sure some of these negative comments have to do with what is going on in there negative life's. Anyways best tacos I will ever eat. Just my point of view but don't take my word for it. Like I said come over and experience it yourself thanks and good night.
I lived in Mexico City for 30+ years so I know my tacos pretty well. If you want to taste the authentic flavor. This.Is.It. Look no further. Muchas gracias Manuel for staying true to your taco art!
Love this place. Tacos for just over a dollar? Can't beat it. Plus they are very tasty. My wife and I go at least two to three times a week.
I always buy the cabeza burrito. I don't wonder to far from that. Can't tell you about the tocos or the drinks. But the cabeza burrito is the best I had in a long time. I've tried a few and each one I tried was good, so far this one beat them all, and ask for the green sauce more so then the red.
This is a taco truck. I have to say it's the best anywhere in the OC. The mulitas and grilled onions are my absolute favorite. Don't let the long lines scare you, they are actually pretty fast. They are there pretty much all day Tuesday through Sunday, gone on Mondays. Their salsas are also pretty good, careful with one of the red ones, it'll make you grow hair on your chest.
I visited Adam's Tacos tonight (formerly Tacos Manuel) to pick up tacos for the family and had a great experience. Adam was very friendly and gave me some recommendations to bring home. We had the carne asada, carnitas, al pastor, cabeza, and lengua tacos. Everything had great flavor - our favorite was the carne asada. We loved the grilled onions! Not sure how they're seasoned, but they were good! Also, the prices were very reasonable. My experience with food trucks has been that they are generally overpriced. Not the case at Adam's Tacos. We fed our family of 5 under $40 which is not very common these days. If you're looking for good tacos in the area, I'd recommend you give this place a shot.
The tacos are really good. Go to food for cheap but tasty food for when you’re running late or just like that. The people are really nice and always so considerate!
Amazing tacos, amazing price, can’t complain , had my food lickity split will be coming back again.
Tacos here are so good. I love the grilled onions and chile they add to the tacos. Price is fair, and you can't beat it. Especially nowadays that everything had gone up in price. The guy taking orders is not always in a pleasant mood. Customer service is #1 always!
Siempre delicioso.
Mexican food truck on 14th St with standard Mexican fare. Came here on a Saturday for lunch and there wasn’t a line to order; it took a little over 20 min to get our food. There seems to be quite a few regulars. Credit cards are accepted but there’s a small fee. They’re still operating during covid. The generator by the order window is a bit loud, so be sure to speak up. They unfortunately didn’t have tripas or cabeza available so we couldn’t try those. You receive a number and they call you in chronological order, although a couple people who ordered after us got their food ahead of us. The burrito was a good size and had plenty of cheese and a good amount of meat. I had carnitas in mine, which was a tad dry (carnitas are only available on weekends). The chorizo was the best meat; I liked the asada and the pastor. They all came with a side of roasted pepper and sautéed onions. The green salsa was pretty spicy while the red salsa tasted very dusky. Overall, the prices are very reasonable and it’s family-owned, so it’s a good option for a quick stop when you’re in Santa Ana.
Decided to try something new and swung by Tacos Manuel. Before we get to the food, the service was amazing. Super friendly, super helpful. We ordered asada, pastor, and chorizo tacos as well the pastor huarache. Overall thr flavor was good, and the meat portions were hefty! You can get "to go" with everything all wrapped up in plastic wrap. Would recommend!
The pastor wasn't bad, wish I caught them when they opened.. Asada was really good, and the tortas is Amazing..
Loved it! Definitely worth checking out. The alpastor was really good, and the tortilla was cooked just right.
Excellent tacos, worth waiting in line. Prices are great, popular meats might run out, so go early in the evening so you'll get your favorite dish. Once meat runs out they don't bring anymore, they just sell whats in stock. So go early...
Very good food, the onions are definitely a plus. Unfortunately this location is questionable. Our car was approached by men trying to sell more than tacos. The food was so good that I would definitely try them again, in a different location.
Was decent. Friend said this was one of the best. Maybe it’s because we got there right as they were closing, but it was just ok.
Very flavorful tacos. The seasoning was elite and the tortilla was phenomenal. The meat itself was slightly dry. The portion size is about what you’d expect for $2. The only issue I had with the service was that they did not do a good job of labeling the packages for the other guests in my party.
It’s pretty decent. Price is reasonable.
Tacos were soooo good or at least still are only if the owner is there. The price went up but still cheap but lately they been using less quality meat i guess nothing last forever n this place aint no difference.
Food was pretty bad. Got asada burrito and torta and it was dry and super salty. Burrito in general was pretty bad regardless of the asada. Only reason it's not 1 star is because asada tacos were okay. Prices aren't bad for a cheap eat but quality is bad
Me and my husband really enjoyed your tacos until we got food poisoning !! My sons are sick and at the hospital never going back again !! People be careful what you eat !!!
My friends love tacos Manuel, they think this is the best place for tacos in all orange co. but I say it isn’t that good at all!, but it’s just my opinion and this is it, Tortillas are saggy and soaked in lard, chicken meat is just to greasy, and beef is just salty
The most remarkable thing about these tacos is that they come off a truck. "Like, O-M-G, Brittany! A taco truck! I wonder what it's like?!?!" It's a lot like: El Taco Veloz Tacos Sinaloa Tacos El Gavilan Superior Grocers Chipotle Rubio's All of which are in actual buildings with actual bathrooms where employees actually wash their hands. Sure, these ordinary restaurants are un-hip, but look on the bright side! You won't: Need to pay cash for questionable reasons. Stand on concrete for 20 minutes waiting in line. Get eyeballed by young men who always seem to be hanging around. Get panhandled by folks who seem to live behind Superior. Wonder if it's legal to live in an RV parked on the street. Wonder if your plate is supposed to be this oily. Wonder where you're supposed to throw away your trash. If not for the breathless hype of hipsters in love with food trucks, this place would have like 3 stars.
How much are two $1.80 tacos? $5. No, I say, it’s $3.60. No, she says, there’s tax. I don’t press the point. I should walk away. I’m actually being conned… at a taco truck. But I need to taste the goods. My goal is to experience all the taco trucks in Santa Ana. My carnitas taco: very subpar. My friend’s al pastor: very subpar. We’re closing out the night back at Amy’s truck nearby where we started. Never coming back to Tacos Manuel.
Order was incorrect once we got home. They lady taking our order wrote out what we wanted but the people preparing the food disregared our requst. So wasted money on food we cant eat. Too far to go back.
14 tacos and got charged $40 dollars doesn’t make sense aren’t the tacos like 1 something? Even $2 I can take well most expensive tacos I have payed for. Asked for grilled jalapeños and onion never got them. Disappointing.
Nothing different than bad meat , not quality at all , many places just want to sale tacos but they don't offer you quality of food . For them it's all about to make money. Think about what are you putting in your body or you just want to have a full stomach ?
Service was rude. I asked if tripas meat were well fried. Male employee told me, no but they could fry them well. He was cordial. Female cook employee was rude when I asked for salsas and denied me the fried chili’s we ordered. Meat was not well cooked at the end.
Better tacos in the area also I’ve never been to a taco truck that charges tax
