Tiana's Palace offers flavorful Cajun and French cuisine in a themed New Orleans Square setting. The gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets are highly praised. Some find the cafeteria-style service and crowded seating less appealing, but appreciate the friendly staff.
Tip: Mobile ordering is available and recommended to avoid long wait times. Be prepared to eat outside.

1. The jambalaya and gumbo were good with lots of flavors! They really pair with the cornbread! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes in New Orleans Square! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with our order! Note: Mobile ordering is available! Photo: Tiana’s Special, Cornbread, Jambalaya, and House Gumbo
Came here for lunch in Oct. 2025. I needed to eat dairy free. The cast members were excellent in finding out for me what I could eat. The chef came out to talk to me. I ended up eating the vegan gumbo and added sausage to it. It was pretty good! Filling and a bit spicy. My daughter had the shrimp po boy, my husband had the regular gumbo with cornbread. We all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant itself is cute! Lots of tables but hard to find a place to sit as it was packed.
I was shocked at how amazing the food was. Everything was so good. The gumbo was one of the best ever. They have several flavors of side sauces outside you could add. The beignets were so warm, soft, and yummy. The inside did feel like a cafeteria but the outside was great! Lots of tables with shade awnings above.
This is one of my favorite places where we ate. It was also one of the cheaper options of food, I think. I had the Muffuletta sandwich. It was super savory with flavor in every bite. I can only describe the sandwich as tasty; when it was gone, I was sad. The sandwich came with a side of kosher tasting pickles that paired very well with the sandwich and rice and beans. I highly recommend this dish, which only costs $15.25. My family members got the gumbo and stated that it was delicious.
Excellent food provided by generous staff. A family member of mine has a food allergy, so the staff went above and beyond to help make it happen. LOVED my Cajun spiced half chicken and the sides. The beignets, of course, were to die for! Will be back for sure.
You can tell the workers love their jobs. The food was amazing. Surprisingly really flavorful. The shrimp and grits were cooked to perfection and the lemon beignet was to die for!
I can’t say enough of this place!! The atmosphere was incredible, just as you would think of a New Orleans French creole restaurant!! (This made me skeptical about the food. Lots of times, the atmosphere and the vibes are great but the food could do better or is subpar). Not with this restaurant! It’s aced in its food as well!! I loved the food! Everyone in my party and I were left satisfied and happy with the food. We were impressed! I ordered the (I think) Po’boy Shrimp or Shrimp Po’boy. Anyways it’s was delicious is what I know. The shrimp was well cooked nice flavor and the sauce was delicious! I really felt like I was in New Orleans! Also there was live music, the men played so well and were charismatic and fun!! They also beignets which were great!!
Got Gumbo and a Spicy Half Chicken with Mac&Cheese and Coleslaw. Food was very good but the gumbo was a little too spicy for my wife. Fast and professional service. Pleasant, "New Orleans French Quarter" kind of atmosphere. Saw many people having beignets so we should've had some.
Tiana's is located at Disneyland Park. You must have a ticket to get into the park where Tiana's is located. Most of the food at Disneyland is sub par or worse. This place is exactly what New Orleans Square in Disneyland needed. It is great. It is super clean and really pretty. They have great seating and the area is just super pretty. The service is very nice and we were so pleased with our server. Tiana's is much like a cafeteria. You can see what they have when you go in, you order and pay and they give you your food. Someone will check on you, but not always. You have everything you need. All of the food we had was exceptional. Their 7 greens gumbo is fantastic and is not too spicy. Their cornbread is fresh and super good. The lemon icebox beignet was so great. I would have had another, but did not want to be a hog. My grandson loved their mac and cheese, filled with good cheese and not made from a box. Their drinks were very good and we were just very happy campers. The prices are high, it is Disneyland and that is what they do. But, for food at Disneyland it is worth it and this will be a new place for us when we come back.
The food was amazing, and so was the atmosphere. My family and I sat near the entrance so we could watch the water show and were not disappointed! I feel our only complaint would be that the seats are so close together. Other than that, it was an AMAZING experience. Thank you, Disneyland!!!
We were pleasantly surprised how short the line was. The location is super cute and cast member really nice. The food was fresh and tasty. The cornbread was so moist and delicious with little bits of real corn. The beignet was not very good. The muffaletta sandwich was pretty tasty and had lots of flavor. Everything was fresh. The only thing that sucked was the bread was a little soggy and the sandwich couldn’t decide if it was hot or cold so it’s kind of a lukewarm would’ve been better if it could’ve decided hot or cold the pickles are bread and butter pickles until that they’re freshly made. If you like bread and butter pickles they’re a must I’m not much of a fan 10 out of 10 would totally recommend checking it out. It’s not a very large menu, so should be easy to choose the mac & cheese looks like it was pretty good but a little bit crusty.

Their original gumbo and Cajun half chicken plate was very tasty! I recommend trying this restaurant if you're stopping by the park.
Food is really good, I would love a bigger portion, I got the jambalaya Gumbo was good too You have to eat outside You don't wait for your food, it's already ready
Never been a fan of Mac n cheese. Probably never will. However the baked Mac n cheese is quite possible the best Mac n cheese I have ever had. Ever. Great theme. Eating outside on a hot day is not next experience though.

We mobile ordered our lunch ahead of time which makes planning lunch and not having to wait online soooo much easier. Not having to stand in line for food is amazing. 3 of our group ordered the jambalaya and everyone was very happy with their meal. My daughter got the kids meal and I was impressed that it offered healthy sides- cutie and apple sauce. We got two orders of the beignets and everyone mentioned how tasty they were.
I’ll admit it: the cafeteria style dining made me anxious to try this place. The decor was lacking, and some of the crew members had the same amount of enthusiasm as a middle school lunch lady. But after trying the shrimp po boy, red beans and rice, and mac and cheese, I was fully on board. Really great meal. (I’d skip the beignets.)
I was excited to try this spot. the outside looks so cool. The inside was like cafeteria style, you take a tray tell them what you want . My kids did not like the mac n cheese, it was hard and dry, the chicken was ok. Jambalaya was ok. I was so excited about the beignets, but I got the ones from the inside & they were not good, pretty but not good. I wish the food matched the entertainment. (Entertainment was fun & lively)
The Cajun spiced chicken was very good. The spices balanced with the sweet bbq sauce. Chicken was juicy with a generous serving of mac and cheese, which would have been really good if it was warmer. The gumbo was good with generous servings of chicken and sausage and had a good kick to it. They give the tiniest portion of rice though.
When other places are packed and need a reservation, there's always this place. Decent food served in a cafeteria style setting, with outdoor seating that has a decent view.
Of all the times i had been to Disneyland, I had never tried Tiana’s Palace until now. I am DISAPPOINTED….that I didn’t go sooner!! 😆🤤 So tasty. We got an assortment of food and shared, and I can honestly say I loved every dish. The Cajun half chicken was so delightful. It had good flavor but was not spicy at all. The gumbo packed a bit of a pinch, but was very do-able! My favorites were the baked macaroni and cheese (probably the best I have ever had) and the strawberry beignets! Ohhhhh they were delightful. I wasn’t terribly crazy about the lemon beignets (I am very picky when it comes to lemon flavored things), but still a solid choice. The beef Po’Boy was tasty too. No seating inside, but plenty of beautiful garden seating with shade. Love the overall ambiance, and the staff at this location were incredibly kind. Def recommend this one!

By the time we went to the park, there was no reservation available so we had to do walk in. Had to wait in line. Really took an hour to go inside and order our food. The ambiance is really nice. The detail and decorations gave it a great Disney touch. The service is really great. Was able to get my food fast. My husband was pushing the stroller and I was trying to get our food. I was able to have a staff help me get a table and carry my food tray. We ordered - House Gumbo: is really good. One of my favorites. It does have a spicy kick to it because of the sausage. - chicken plate, macaroni cheese, and some pickle veggie. Chicken was good and spicy. Macaroni cheese was ok. My toddler didn’t really like it. Didn’t like the pickle veggie. - corn bread: moist and sweet. Really good and baked fresh. - lemon beignets: it’s good. Really had a sour taste. - chicory cold brew: it’s ok. Taste like any other cold brew. Overall, this was a great experience. Disney really captured the movie.
Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Portion to Price: 3/5 Overall: Pretty standard fare. I didn't get to try the gumbo but it looked good and I'll likely come back to try it. The extended review... Food: Beignet Fried Chicken Sandwich : 3/5 - I think this sandwich was pretty interesting in the sense that it's "different". It was a good mix of sweet and savory. I'll say that the beignet was more reminiscent of focaccia instead of an actual beignet. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 4/5 - A good outdoor seating area. Portion to Price: 3/5 - Pricing was standard fair for park food.
Got to the park around 8am and by 11 we were hungry so we decided to head over to Tiana’s. At 11 there was hardly any wait. Tiana’s is cafeteria style, just walk over to a station, make your order and they will load it onto your tray. We ordered the chicken w/ man and cheese, gumbo and shrimp and grits. Side of cornbread / beignet. Paid then sat at one of their outdoor tables, plenty of seating. Service was ok. Gumbo was ok, strange color and constancy and pretty bland but somewhat edible. Shrimp and grits? Grits were on point, left the shrimp after taking a bite - no bueno. Cornbread, it was ok - took a couple of bites. Beignet? I would not order that again, took a bite and left the rest - probably the worst I’ve ever had. The star for me was the chicken w/ Mac and cheese, seasoned well, Uber juicy and tender. The Mac and cheese was also very good, tasty with a nice crunchy texture. I would highly recommend a visit to Tiana’s for the chicken and Mac and cheese.

They only filled the gumbo bowl half full for full price, I asked for unsweetened tea and they gave me sweet tea. The gumbo was twice as spicy hot as it needed to be. Almost inedible. Bad experience. Why is Disney cutting so many corners for such high prices?
