This place has the best cost/tasty food ratio I've seen in a long time. Okay, sure, it's not the best food I've ever had...but for twelve dollars a bowl, I'm definitely coming back. Great chicken katsu
The very first time I visited Top Bop in south Anchorage, it was right when they opened and the whole place smelled like very dirty mop water. The floor was wet, so I assume they had just mopped the place. It completely ruined my appetite, so I didn't order and left. This was a couple years back. Boy oh boy, I'm glad I tried the place again. I ordered their seafood bop with crab salad and edamame over fried rice and oh my god, it was absolutely delicious!! This might be my favorite lunch spot in town. The tuna poke bob is another banger and recommend the kimchi as a topping, as well. Absolutely wonderful food, service and atmosphere; now without the mop water smell!!
The food is so, so so good! The crab salad, the chicken, edamame.....spice level is completely customizable which is so appreciated. The rice is nice and fluffy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good prices for the amount of food you get (at least 2 meals with for me). Highly recommend!
Got the chicken katsu bowl for lunch and you could share the bowl with someone depending on your appetite. Atmosphere was bright and open. We visited this place during our first trip to Alaska! ❤️ from Wisconsin 🧀
Great place to eat with decent portions. Spicy chicken is pretty solid and has some kick. Fast service and Del was great.
This was my first time here and the staff was very friendly and informative. The food was tasty and plentiful. A chicken bowl and 2 pc. Potsticker. Walked out a little too full. Will be back again
The food is great the customer service is outstanding. The only thing I could say negative is that I don’t like the bowls are only one size now and I don’t like the “free toppings” option. Again, everything else is top notch, I come here all the time and the Seafood bop is something you have to try!!!

The poke is always so good! The staff is super friendly too! I’ve gotten it to go for dinner and also DoorDash for the office for lunch! The food is always consistent and I’ve never had a bad bowl! It’s nice you can choose different levels of spice!
My first time here recommended by my sister and will not be my last. The food tasted great! I got the bowl size and was able to share with my 4 year old and still have some leftovers. The combination of the teriyaki chicken, noodles, salad and rice was so tasty. The mac salad was good, a little on the dry side but still good. The blue raspberry Italian soda was very good as well. Excited to try other flavors. I also tried their shrimp tempura (not pictured) and it did not disappoint! The sauce they had on it made it even better. I'm ready to go back again to eat more amazing food they make.
I ordered to go through grub hub today. When it was delivered half of my order was missing! Driver and me even hand went over missing items at my doorstep.. called grub hub. Zero support or even concern was given towards my missing food issue. HOWEVER driver showed back up to the restaurant and had them remake my missing food. Top Bop even called me to apologize and let me know my food was remade and on the way again! I was very impressed by the restaurant and the drivers cooperation together. They made sure to correct the issue and then notify me of its arrival. Food was delivered hot, and delicious and was so very appreciated by my kids on a day when they are not feeling well and home from school. Thank you Top Bop! 😊

I have eaten at Top Bop before in the past and always had a great experience from the time I walk in til the time I walk out. The food ingredients are always fresh and taste amazing. There are 3 locations here in Anchorage with plenty of parking and dinning. The price is pretty steep, I average between $20 and $26 with tip for my lunch but I always leave satisfied and happy. So who says money cannot buy happiness. There are 2 sizes of bowls to choose from, regular and large. The regular size is a good choice portion wise. Enjoy
Best Top Bop in town! Their food is always a better quality/flavor than the other locations
There were only 2 people working there when we arrived so service was a bit slow and have a lil wait time but for the price, portion size and quality of food, it's okay. I don't recommend their japchae though.
Not very happy w the new staff there. Received my order incorrectly and my order came with barely any meat or sauce. Not to mention poor customer service. I love the food here but the food I received is really not to my liking at all right now. I miss the old staff.
The price was $18 for a bowl of rice, cabbage, and a few shrimp. There was a little bit of crab. For the price, there wasn’t enough protein in the bowl. I’m still hungry.
Got the Lv. 5 and wasn’t spicy at all, first time back in years. It was nice now they have 2 free toppings, but since I came in 50 minutes till closing it seemed like the worker was in a rush to make me leave and kept telling me “I don’t have to get it” when I was asking questions about the toppings. Food was fast but the cashier was rude. But I guess they just wanted to close up early
The food and service is so good, sadly it’s ruined for me. They only have 1 size now. I loved my large bowls. Plus the poke bop isn’t the same anymore. I miss the lettuce with rice topped with all the goodness. Now it’s just meat and rice with 2 toppings. I don’t know if I’ll ever come back but I guess all good things must come to an end.
Ordered online and my bowl was at about 70% rice. Gave me tiny pieces of chicken. I’ve had way better from Top Bop. Pretty disappointing
Forgot multiple items on our order then gave us in store credit which we ended up never using. Any time I want to give them a chance again I just remember they didn't refund us for mediocre food.
This place is inedible. The rice is overcooked and has the texture of mashed potatoes. The egg rolls are only halfway fried. All meat and veg are heated in a microwave. No vegan or vegetarian options. Only come here if you want food poisoning.
