We tried the loaded fries and loaded potatoes tonight , the food was very good! They did mess up one of my orders but without hesitation they remade my order for me. The customer service I received from Ariana tonight was exceptional! She's very nice and attentive ! She deserves a raise, I will be back for more loaded fries and potatoes.

The hippo was very good. Also ordered the carne asada. Both had salsa verde which was very spicy but delicious and creamy. Husband and I liked the hippo.

I absolutely love Nena's!!!! I grew up in Clute with the original one. And now I am so thankful for the little one in Angleton! Update: 2/24/26 This is the second time in a row that my taco was a complete mess. It was just kind of thrown together, the tortilla was dried out and breaking. It's like whoever is making them has no idea what they're doing.

The food here was good made fresh biggest issue I had was it should not cost $15 for a fajita and egg breakfast taco not when I can go right up the street and get the same thing for six dollars

Tacos are good. Not bad but Nothing to rave about either. In the end, It makes a turd. Their hours seem to change just depending on when they want to show up some days though. Especially Saturday it seems. Today for instance I guess it’s 7am from what the sign on the window read. Next Saturday it might be 8am….who knows. It would be nice for some consistency or at least for the hours on Google to be correct though.

Especially Saturday it seems. Today for instance I guess it’s 7am from what the sign on the window read. Next Saturday it might be 8am….who knows. It would be nice for some consistency or at least for the hours on Google to be correct though.

I'm not one to rant but Nena’s Diner taco stand on 35 in Angleton has gone to crap. We understand people are out and its busy. However when we ordered I had to repeat what I wanted multiple times. I am bilingual and that still didnt make a difference. There was multiple people waiting for thier order. We waited for about 20 or more minutes for our order which for tacos is ridiculous. There was 2 other gentlemen that had been waiting for thier order for 40 minutes. When we asked for our money back I was told I couldn't get my money back as our order was about to be ready. Absolutely ridiculous.

From the rock hard, very old potatoes in my taco to the cheese I didn't ask for, to the request for a tip, I'm utterly disappointed. Having known Nena and Beto and having the utmost respect and adoration for them both, I'm embarrassed for them. Thirty dollars for 2 tacos, 1 diet coke and the tip that was requested. I know every place has a bad day, but I don't think I can take a chance on going back for that kind of money. There's too many other places to choose from. Please do better Nenas.
