Round Table Pizza

Update: 1-17-26 After one year of avoiding the Apple Valley RT I decided to try it again in hopes that their issues had been resolved! To my amazement all the issues have been resolved! We were served by the new manager Raegan (according to the receipt). She was so sweet and attentive to all of our needs. A shout out to those who raised her as they did a assume job! Keep up the great job Raegan. Respectfully Gene --------------------------------- old info----------------- I ordered a pizza for pick up on Tuesday 11-5-24. I picked it up at 4:27 pm for $33.93 . After I arrived home and my guests tried the bad pizza , I tasted and inspected the pizza as well. I then called Apple Valley Round Table Pizza immediately at 5:05 pm to report an issue with bad crust. The crust was cracker thin and tough with a bad taste. Something went wrong in the dough rising process or very old product from what I could guess. I know the Round Table crust is not large in size which has always been great, but this time something was wrong! I have videos and pictures of a recent visit ordering 2 pizzas. I posted them on Facebook and the pizzas were wonderful. ( I will mention this again later in my conversations with Dorothy the manager) As mentioned, something went wrong that night with my order! During my call I was told that I could bring back the pizza for remaking or 15% off of a future purchase. Since I was hosting a event at my home I told them I was unable to resolve the issue at that time. I was then told by the women cashier that she would call her manager Dorothy for guidance and she would call me back. Four hours later at 9:08 pm I received a call back from the cashier "after the store closed" and I was told that Dorothy her manager had asked for me to contact her on Thursday 11-7-24 as Dorothy was off work until then. On the way back to round table to meet with Dorothy I grabbed one piece of the bad pizza from the refrigerator and put it into a zip lock bag to show Dorothy the issue. It seemed senseless to bring all of the expiring pizza back. After I showed Dorothy the bad dough / crust she told me the pizza I returned looked as it always does with no crust. (picture attached) I reminder Dorothy that I had pictures and videos of what their pizza always looks like and she got an angry look. I told her I have pictures that Round Table Corp uses for advertisement that tell a whole different story! (picture attached) Then Dorothy said that if I had bought back the pizza on Tuesday 11-5-24 they would have remade it! I tried to explain to Dorothy (all that you just read in this review) and that I was following HER directions of resolving the issue on Thursday and Dorothy refused to acknowledge my concerns. Dorothy even "suggested" that I ate the pizza and no refund! I told Dorothy I still had half of the pizza still on my counter at home and I would go home to get it and even then Dorothy said no remake, no refund! Dorothy never expected that I had the bad pizza at home but I did have it and was willing to go get it! (picture attached) I never thought Dorothy would be so petty as to even suggest that I ate the pizza and say no remake , no refund just because I bought back one piece for her inspection! However as you can see it wasn't about her getting the pizza back now was it! I still have all of the bad pizza in my freezer as I waited to see if the owner would call me back to resolve and he never did. As I walked out Dorothy and I looked at many of the pizzas that were at customers tables and all looked great but Dorothy still refused to help me.

This is a small but nice pizza place with a reservable party room. We have used this room on a couple of occasions, and it is fully enclosed, so it works out really well. The pizza is very good. The salad bar could use an upgrade, though. The servers and workers are always very friendly and accommodating.

I was looking for a sit down pizza place and Round Table Pizza satisfied my craving 😋

Boy when I go here it might as well be restock day, its always 3 helpings at the salad bar, ain't nothing healthy about my salad habits. Though on a second note you wont find any better garlic twists in this Valley

Round Table Pizza! Nice place; old, but ally. 😄 First, good-old Diet Pepsi..... very nice! Next, some mozzarella sticks! They are PERFECT! Tender, goody, meld-you-in-mouth...... 😍 Main course, Italian Garlic Supreme! They are so VERY good! I'm be back! 😎

Went there for lunch. The pizza was great and it was a build your own salad so that was great too.

Prices are very high, two large pizzas were about $70 out the door. Having said that, the specialty pizzas are an amazing premium product…can’t hurt to splurge once in a while, right?

Better than most of the sit in pizza places. If your looking for value purchase a lunch buffet during their lunch hours. This place is a little pricey but they send out discount coupons that help reduce your purchase. You can choose to order and carry out also. This location is super clean and their staff always has a smile on. It's in a good location of town with plenty of parking.

We were there for a meeting and ordered what I believe is called the barbecue Pizza with pepperoni or chicken, other meats and vegetables. I loved the barbecue sauce! It was a really unique blend of flavors on the pizza. I like Round Table Pizza but what we ordered was definitely NOT a pan pizza. It wasn't thin but it was NOT a traditional pan pizza. While I do like their Pizza, and the staff is always friendly, I think their prices are too high.

I did receive the wrong toppings on my pizza. I don't know if they made it wrong or if I received someone else's pizza. It was good after I picked off a few things I don't like.

We bought two pizzas and buffalo wings soda to take out the staff was friendly and serviced was fast.

We have been going to this Round Table for many years. Since it reopened after COVID-19, the service and the food quality has improved. The pizza is always very tasty, very fresh, and house great presentation. The staff is very friendly. The only area that I think that they could improve on is the cleanliness of the dining area. They seem to be understaffed during busy times and have a hard time cleaning the tables and keeping up with the orders.

The staff were SUPER GREAT... don't get that mixed up with my star reviews. I just ordered something I didn't like very much, but if it was something I did like, it was made perfectly. The salad bar could have a few more items. It was fresh though.

The service was great. Friendly staff. The food was ok. My negative feedback about this store is the cleanliness. Let's think of it the dining is filthy and then how much more inside the kitchen? 😬 This place needs a thorough clean!!! The soda machine alone is moldy🫢. I hope management read this message and take actions. Because I would not recommend to my family eating here.

This is about the most expensive pizza chain around and it's not the best. $55 for a medium 1 topping and a 2 topping xlarge. I called the order in, waited the time given and went to pick it up. 6 people ahead of me in line - no dedicated pick up line. 1 person handling the orders, filling pitchers of beer, handing out plates and glasses, etc. Dozen of 7 year old or younger kids running around at full speed, falling down and totally unsupervised as Mom and Dad (or coach) sit drinking beer.

Love the pizza so much flavor♡ I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it untill a friend mentioned it the other day. The bathrooms could of been way cleaner was out of seat covers and paper. Umm not to sure of the neighborhood. Why on earth is the employee walking around with a huge knife on his hip and where is management? Didnt feel safe leaving the place after seeing that.

I like their pizza, but somewhere at the managment level the ball is getting dropped. I called in to order a pizza for delivery with a price advertised on their website and was told they couldn't find that coupon. So I decided to drive over so I could physically show them the advertised price but was told after showing it to them that their computer wouldn't except that advertised price. So I looked on a different Round Table website and decided on a different coupon only to be told that they couldn't find that one in their system either. Finally a manager did an over ride but I was made to feel like I was asking for something that was not a valid request and he was doing me some favor by doing the over ride. I go to sit down to wait, only to find every single but empty booth wasn't cleaned of the mess left by the previous customer. The place was not even that busy, so there was no excuse for there not to be a clean place to sit down at. Ger, what would happen if they were actually busy? This place went downhill hill with the new management. The pizza which I loved in the past had very little sauce. The wings have lost all flavor to me and the service was questionable. I had to ask for them to actually cut the pizza. Not good.

The lady working there was very nice and if the pizza was better I'd go back just to have the pleasure of interacting with her again.

Your servers are rude , took over 55 minutes to get most of our food. Forget about them giving you your bread sticks , that’s just asking too much from this place. They give you your order in bits and pieces. And they serve the newer people who need to place orders as priority , smh since they already have your money. And again your servers are rude, give dirty looks and act unbothered.Maybe try a better trained staff who actually care about customer service and maybe their job? …. This place is trash. I will not be back.

They canceled my order an hour after ordering. Saying they closed an half hour ago. The website said they had another hour to be open. Of course it was on Halloween so maybe they needed to trick or treat? Very poor customer service. Got a response on here asking me to email them. I did, all they asked was what location. Then never responded back.

42 bucks for an extra large pizza 3 toppings. Ridiculous. Could have gone to Oggies and paid 33 for the same pizza but better. Will not be returning.

This location is consistently an hour late on deliveries, management is nowhere to be found and this understaffed location just needs to be put out of its misery and replaced with a restaurant that knows what they are actually doing. I would not eat at this location again if they actually paid me to eat here. It used to be fantastic. A long wait time but at least it was generally on time and hot, not warm HOT. Little Caesars is basically down the block and a better deal in all regards.

I would give ONE star if I could! I ordered food at 445. Gave them my card number and got a confirmation.by 700pm my order has not arrived and they do not know why. They stated the door dash “ left 20 mins ago”. Another hour goes by and I called back. Apparently my order was never placed! Wow! What a disgrace. Never again.

If I could leave a no star I would. This is the 2nd time visiting this specific Round Table pizza and both times it was a nightmarish experience. The 1st time around the restaurant was swamped with flies. It was a constant battle with the flies for my food. This 2nd time around it was well over an hour of wait before I asked for my money back. The final straw was when 3 other customers orders came out before ours. We just ordered a simple pizza and the other customers had their pizza plus appetizers. I had walked up to ask about my order 15 minutes before asking for my refund and walking out and our order wasn’t even a thought in their heads. 15 minutes later when I asked for my refund the pizza wasn’t even being prepared. Terrible experience with terrible employees.

For the second time in a row my online order was started when I arrived rather then when it was placed. The first time this happened the store was very busy so I let it slide. The second instance the store was empty. My two personal pizzas were done sitting on top of the oven. Other pizzas were coming out of the oven. I walked in (10min after the website it would be complete) and gave my name, they said, “Your order is almost done. We just need to finish the twists.” When I got home the two pizzas were barely warm and the twists were hot. Food is always great and made as ordered. Just wish they would work on my order when it’s placed.

Absolutely the worst experience at this Apple Valley location! Cynthia and Dorothy should not be in customer service!! I felt ignored not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES I tried getting my order screwup resolved! The attitude and tone from Cynthia was completely uncalled for. Dorothy wasn’t much better with her way of handling customers complaint. Cynthia took my original receipt and refused to give me back my original receipt showing my order and instead tried just giving the cooks ticket. Absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated! The food was not even worth the prices either! I will never return to this Round Table and will definitely tell all of my friends about the disgusting dirty atmosphere, the nasty food, but mostly the service received from both Cynthia and Dorothy! DO BETTER WITH WHO YOU HIRE TO REPRESENT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT!! 🤬😡😤

A clear elastic hair band fell onto my lip — with red sauce baked onto it and positioned between the crust and cheese, proving it was baked inside the pizza. I had already swallowed part of the bite before realizing what it was. When I showed it to the manager, she immediately dismissed it and said, “Oh no, if it was ours, it would have melted. That’s not possible. Our ovens are super hot.” But clear elastics don’t melt at those temperatures, especially covered in sauce and cheese. The band was intact and obviously baked in. I didn’t ask for a refund; I just wanted them to be aware. The denial and lack of food safety concern were the most disappointing parts. I also contacted corporate with photos and details and never received a response. This used to be our go-to pizza spot, but after this incident and how it was handled, we won’t be returning.
