We get the 3 foot burrito every so often for everyone at work and its always good and feeds about 10 people

I've been going to Baja Taco in AV since it opened at this location around '08. Despite the 1-stars posted, I've seen 'em, and I can say this place has had its very rare downs. They are great always on an exception once in a great while. Lately they're at their best. Focusing on the ingredients and value, Baja Taco has consistently delivered in this regard. They pass the 'taco plate test' with actual steak and chicken on option. Today I had an excellent shrimp taco; will be going back again soon. I'm a local, long-term fan.

I have been coming here for years. Today out of all days they were extremely busy and very well taken care of. The 3 employees all together, around noon, had non stop orders back to back. The cashier seemed to light up the whole place while helping out the manager in the back along with a young gentleman preparing orders. Food was delicious, service was a 10 out of 10. Will be taking my whole family for sunday dinner! Now i will be back once a week all over again, thank you baja taco!!!

Well, this used to be the lowest price and tasty food places in the High Desert. We used to go to the one in Victorville until this one opened. It was good just like the original but as time went by the quality of food went down as the prices went up. The sauce they put on their Burrito supreme was the best, now it is just a watery sauce with no flavor. The quality of the meat went down along with flavor. The more money they put into the place and the more items they add to the menu just make the food taste worse. We no longer will go here as we were disapointed to many times. We will try the original once more to see if they kept thier quality up.

Been going to this place for years, food always satisfies me! My boyfriend and I can eat for about $6, be full off of that, and still have leftovers! :D Big Shredded Beef Burrito is my favorite, and their salsa is the bomb! Always go to this place when I'm craving Mexican food.

I came for the first time with my grandmother and it was amazing the food is delicious and the hospitality is great, the cashier was so friendly we sat in there for about 20 minutes and the lady greeted every single person,asked them little questions,recommend food ect.Then on my way out I stopped by the restroom and it was absolutely spotless! I will definitely go back 10/10

Great quick, small location for fast Mexican food. All the staff interactions I've had here have been A+. Food quality is acceptable but what's great is the price - price is great. Prices have gone up recently but they're still really good. This is a cash only place and seating is very limited (same for parking). But, for the price you really can't go wrong. I wasn't overly impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant but the amount of food, the price made it a place that I'll go to now and then.

I took my kids in last night and part of our meal had gotten forgotten. But I called first thing today and they were so sincerely apologetic. And they truly did everything they could to make up for it. My kids love their food. Everything was truly amazing and they were so nice. A place that cares about their customers and work so hard it's definitely great in my book. We will definitely be going back over and over again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Just not the same without Debbie and Armando, I used to be in once a week, now maybe once a year. Prices have increased and the quality and flavor at times. Its worth a shot if you havent tried. The 3ft burrito is kind of a bait...you can just order 3 burrito Grandes and itll damn near be 3 ft for way less. That way you can have the different meats. The chicken is always good.

This is a small "hole-in-the-wall place . The food was acceptable and the portions sufficient. The staff did not seem friendly but at least they were courteous. Cleanliness did not seem to be a top priority.

I reviewed this restaurant before warning people the food is poor quality. I forgot and went back yesterday. Ordered a carne asada burrito. Worst carne asada ever. My assumption is they take poor quality beef and steam it until tender, them chopsticks up and present it asada meat.Asada is supposed to be grilled beef. It was also lacking any noticeable seasoning. I threw out half of it, so nasty.

The food I did receive (through uber) was excellent. The Carne Asada fries.. delicious. Only giving 3 stars because I didn't get the drink I ordered and the taco order clearly states there are 2 tacos.. and only had one in the bag. The taco I did get though was tasty.. so I only requested a refund for the drink. Maybe next time will be better. I'll definitely order again.

This place is mediocre at best. The meat is delicious, but their burritos consist of just that and cheese. With a sprinkle of pico de Gallo. It lacks the basic components of the basic burrito, no beans, and no rice. 50 percent of the burrito is cheese, and the other is meat. I'd only come here again as a last resort.

My kids and I stopped to get food here on our way to my dad's house and my youngest started crying saying he saw a bug. I didn't know what he was talking about, but sure enough there was something gross crawling near the condiments. We just left and went somewhere else after that.

When I first went there in like Oct 22, food was decent, as of today it's not good I won't be going back I had a chicken tostada salad, worst ever!

Very dissapointed with food today and were weekly customers. Paid for lettuce and cheese on tacos and didnt get. Then they burnt our quesidilla and actually served it to us. I would of said something but we took it to go. I plan on reporting this to owner/manager! Totally unacceptable!

Food would probably be pretty good if you could eat it without having to drive home with it because they ALWAYS forget to put utensils in the bag because they are too stoned to realize that you can't eat a Baja bowl with your fingers.

I tired their deluxe burrito, and I have to say I was not pleased with what I ate. The burrito was Luke warm, it's ground beef was something that resembled high school sloppy joe meat. They said that it came with sour cream and toppings yet it seemed like that was just mostly a wishful description. I will not go back there again sadly.

I always order the 2 pc meal for my family, and I. Recently we've gone back to order again, and noticed that a thigh was cut in half to make it a 2 pc meal. I went in about 2 weeks later, and ordered the same meal, but informed them that I wanted 2 pcs of chicken instead of 1 piece cut in half. the manager told me that he could cut a wing in half, and sell it as a 2 pc. meal. I demanded my money back, and told him he was crazy. Check your food before you leave.

Ask for well-done fries got rubbery pale white fries with no salt on them in in a styrofoam container ask what meat was the freshest got cold carne asada all while the two punks in the back we're giggling was wondering if they had Verde sauce or warm sauce so when I ask what meets the freshest and for warm sauce the last thing I want is a cold burrito and that's what I got and rubbery fries after I asked them for well done being the only customer in there I figured they understood I wanted hot food... did not get hot food or fresh food.... definitely is not like the second location in anyway. I would have drove clear across town to get fresh food I see where my mistake was made. I highly recommend the Baja Fresh in the Stater Brothers parking lot up town

I'm a vegetarian and I always get the bean and cheese burrito. My husband bought me a bean and cheese burrito today and brought it home for me for dinner. I took a bite and there was meat inside. He went to work so I cant take it back. That infuriates me because I'm a vegetarian. DO NOT ORDER CARNE ASADA FRIES!!! I can't stress this enough. Fries and cheese are thrown into the microwave in a styrofoam container. Container is melted and fries and cheese taste like rubber. Won't be back.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AFTER 8 PM!! So we went in around 8:40 PM to get food and they close at 9. We sat and waited for our food while the girls who worked there got louder and louder as closing time was soon. The staff was loudly cussing and gossiping about people, so loud we could hear from our seats... we heard this go on for about 20 minutes meaning it was 9 PM. Another lady was in the front completely ignoring our presence while she obnoxiously cleaned the condiments out and soda machine... annoying but whatever. Then a man walks in and one girl shouts to the girl cleaning the soda machine “is that your brother?” The girl says no and then they completely ignored him as he friendly asked can I still place an order.. they told him no and that he left... come 9:15 PM... were still being ignored still listening to them cuss and gossip about people... till finally the girl cleaning tables around us says “umm yes sir?” To my boyfriend as he explains we’ve been waiting for our food since 8:40... The girls say “we’ve been cleaning this whole time” somehow they forgot about our order and just said “ohhh we’re gonna have to give you a refund” “sorry sir” and that’s how they handled ignoring us for 35 minutes... then we left... so we waited forever, heard the staff ladies gossiping about people which is so unprofessional and then they forgot about our order and just continued to clean up the restaurant around the table we waited at for our order... I have never been treated that badly from a restaurant in my life. Terrible service! Food is good but after that service I doubt we’ll be going back anytime soon...

I’m moving to Apple Valley so in the middle of all of the hassle. I tried ordering for pick up but apparently you can’t place an order over the phone unless you pay over the phone (I was driving so I couldn’t get my card out) I pulled up to order and the order took forever (for the quality of the food) and I don’t know if I just got a bad batch of food but the chips for the nachos were so stale they felt like cardboard absolutely no crunch (even the parts with no add ons that were completely dry. The bottom of my wet burritos were so stale my plastic fork they gave me couldn’t penetrate through to eat it and in all honesty the meat is no good. Won’t be eating here again trying to help someone else avoid a headache and disappointment.

Can you do 0 stars!? I'm in here as I type . First they gave me a issue about asking for something in my food on the side. Next, it's a small place and the cashier is literally flirting with these two guys and ignoring anything we ask. I got the burrito combo. Instead of two I received 1 and 1/2. Last we're sitting here and the cashier who I said is flirting comes up to me rudely and tells me not to throw my food in the trash can. That I need to wait. Maybe she can stop flirting and do her job. Oh ya the chips were stale. I paid 25 dollars for this experience wow. Now we're the only ones in here. Except for a older man who was waiting awhile to order

There regular is small AF. Salsa sucked. Carne asada fries were mushy and meat was sparse. Quesadilla was a lot of tortilla less cheese. Chips were super bland... Also the cashier needed to be talked to slowly.... Del taco was better.

Check if food is cooked well because they cook it half way and I got a torta de lengua and the meat tasted like water had no flavor. And my dad is chief he and picky he wouldn't recommend it to anybody. His food came half cooked.My brother got sick eating food here. Horrible food. They literally gave me old food because I seen the guy warm up the whole plate. The fries was old and nasty cheese old just not a great place to eat at. I recommend everyone to stay away from there unless you want old microwave food. The place was clean to say the lease and service was ok.

Usually love this place. The day after New Years we stopped in and ordered the Burrito Grande with everything. It was horrible! Taco Bell or Del Taco burritos have more meat in them. It was big all right, but all rice and beans. Hardly any shredded beef! Very disappointed as we had always enjoyed their food before.

Have used this place many time before, and was very disappointed with this last and final experience. Manager "Pepe" Lopez was extremely rude and unprofessional. Placed a huge order for my son's birthday. My husband went to go pick up order and no one helped him carry it out. He got all the way home and there was no tortillas. Called the store, and the manager never apologized for the mistake, but instead said it was my husbands fault for forgetting them. I then drove all the way back to the store to pick them up, while the party was going on and people were trying to eat. Get back to the store and he tells me the tortillas were tucked behind the wall on the counter, is slamming his hand down on the counter repeatedly. I asked him why he didn't call my number on the order paper and let us know something was forgotten before we got all the way home, or run them out the door to us. He proceeded to say he was too busy ( no one was inside) and that it was my husbands fault for forgetting them, even though he said they were tucked behind wall on counter. Very upset with they way I was treated and spoken too. He claims he's a manager, but knows nothing about customer service or how to speak to someone. Huge language barrier as well. Manager should be fluent in English as well as Spanish. Hope that you can resolve this before another customer is treated disrespectfully.

I will never order from here again. Crazy part is I wouldn't have known anything if it wasn't for my great door dasher. My door dasher called me and told me that it was up to me but I should consider canceling the order . He witness the girl that was preparing the food , picking her nose while doing so and he didn't feel right delivering food after what he saw. my door dasher even called her out and that made her irritated. This is very sad that things like this are happening

When paying extra for sour cream I expect that I get more than a dimes worth of it, especially in a huge burrito. Not to mention that they messed up both of the other items I ordered. They were extremely rude and when I asked them to remake it with the sour cream on the side instead she said I'd have to pay for it even though I already paid extra for it. I will never return to a place like that. Absolutely horrible customer service

I called and placed an order. My bad that I had no idea of another baha taco. So when I called and asked to cancel they said no! Card was already processed. I'm clear across the other side of town. I find that to be very rude. Also notice they only have 3 stars, well I can see why! I'll be sure to tell everyone of their bad service. No Bueno!

I was excited to see that they had Keto friendly food on their menu with a minor adjustment. I ordered a baja bowl minus beans and rice with extra lettuce and they wanted to charge me extra for the lettuce even though I wasn't getting beans and rice. Eating healthy should not feel like punishment.
