An above average Korean barbecue restaurant with high quality meats and nice side dishes. The interior is huge with lots of seating, yet there is still a wait time during peak hours. The combo sets are a great option for a larger variety of meats. Everything tasted great and was presented beautifully. The staff are very friendly and they even have robots to wheel around the food.

By far one of the best K-restaurants I’ve been to in SoCal! Food was superb, exceptional bulgogi, sundubu jjigae, and service was some of the best I’ve ever had! Sweetest, kindest servers, and the atmosphere is brilliant! 100/10 recommend!

GIVE BILLY AN IMMEDIATE RAISE AND PROMOTION. Two nights ago, I ordered around 145$ worth of take-out food for me and my family. My family and I work long hours, often skipping meals to examine patients and help with their miscellaneous needs. That day was no different as I only had a small yogurt for breakfast-no lunch. So by the time I had dinner, it was already past 8:30 PM and there were quite a lot to carry. As someone with a wrist injury and with the sheer amount of food that I had to carry in my hypoglycemic state, I dreaded the prospect of 1) exacerbating my wrist injury and 2) needing to make multiple trips to carry all the food. That is where Billy came in to save the day. Billy OFFERED to carry the food to my car. Him and his kind worker found a box to stack all the food and then Billy proceeded to lift the heavy Hodori BBQ order to my car. But then, I messed up. Due to my hypoglycemia, I was suffering from cognitive fatigue and brain fog. I accidentally made Billy go down the steps into the wrong parking section-wasting his time, effort, and energy lifting that heavy load of food. I felt bad. When I apologized, he had no malice in his voice and reassured me that I wasn’t of any trouble. “It’s all good” he reiterated. After the mishap, Billy’s demeanor was still as sweet and compassionate—expressing genuine empathy about the whole ordeal. He even shared his experiences of when he is hungry to build rapport with me and make me feel less embarrassed. Firstly, Billy didn’t need to help me carry that heavy box of food, let alone OFFER TO HELP-but he did. Secondly, he didn’t need to be so kind and reassuring, making sure I didn’t feel embarrassed and bad, about my mistake. I was throughly impressed by how wonderful of a human being Billy is and truly believe that this man deserves a raise and promotion for his exceptional customer service and care. It is due to Billy that I know that I will be coming back to more often. However, I would like to know that this man received a raise or promotion; his kindness was a beacon of sunshine, the highlight, of my stressful and long day. I know that any other customers, when interfacing with Billy, would feel the same warm glow emanating from Billy and thus, be converted to a loyal customer of Hodori BBQ.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Now, let's talk about the food! The quality of the meats is simply outstanding—we ordered the pork special! The assortment of side dishes was equally impressive, with delicious appetizers that complemented the main courses beautifully. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes were commendable. Overall, Hodori BBQ exceeded my expectations in every way. The food here is delicious and high quality, and there is something for everyone here! Whether you're looking for high quality flavorful dishes or light brothy soups, Hodori BBQ is an amazing option! I regularly order their omurice and sulungtang (beef soup) and they're both high quality and delicious! The service is amazing, and all our servers are always very attentive and kind. The wait time is short, and the portion sizes are big, definitely enough for one person or more! Absolutely reccomend for anyone who likes a good filling and delicious meal :)

The quality of the meat was so good and the side dishes were fantastic. The kimchi fried rice was beyond description! The broth of the naengmyeon was fresh and fresh. Especially among the side dishes, the potato salad was as soft and crisp as whipped cream.👍👍👍

Even though it wasnt ayce, the quality more than makes up for it! The marbling on the kkotsal, prime short rib, is amazing! So buttery and melts in your mouth. The addition of mulnaengmyun and bibimnaengmyun is perfect with the meat. Love that they have draft beer now as well. Overall a really great experience and meal.

Billy provided excellent service during our visit. He was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. His positive attitude and professionalism really made our dining experience enjoyable.

I came here for dinner recently and, unfortunately, one of our dishes was forgotten due to how busy the kitchen was. However, our server Billie truly turned the experience around. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we received our order as quickly as possible once the issue was noticed. Throughout the entire dining experience, Billie was warm, smiley, and showed genuine hospitality. The highlight of the evening was definitely his outstanding service. His professionalism and positive attitude really stood out, and the restaurant is lucky to have such a great team member. Thumbs up!

They have the best lunch specials for Korean soups, and I find myself always wanting to come here for lunch or get takeout. Everything on their menu is good. I’ve tried their BBQ and several other dishes. My favorites are the dolsot bibimbap, samgyetang, and donkatsu. If you find yourself in Arcadia and craving Korean food, this is the place. Parking is never a problem, as there is plenty of parking in the mall. Service is generally good, but it can get busy at times, so the wait may be slow. The restaurant is spacious, and they even use robots to bring out food, especially for Korean BBQ orders. It’s quite fun to watch the robots running around. All in all, come here for lunch — you won’t regret it.

We went to eat on a weekday night, arriving at 6:30pm, and there were plenty of empty seats. I ordered a combo. The meat was very good and fragrant after being grilled. I enjoyed it very much when I was hungry. The waiter will help with the barbecue and the service is very good. The environment is also very clean. Will go again in the future.

I really appreciate that they let you take home food and don’t weigh your leftovers like some other KBBQ spots in LA. I took away one star because I didn’t like the sauce choices and also wish they had lettuce wraps. Still a tasty and fun experience!

Came on Mothers day at about 430pm, place was somewhat empty but began filling up by the time we left at 6pm. Korean bbq but with set prices for meats. We ordered the small pork which is a pretty good choice for 2 adults. Got a side of Bulgogi from a la cart and some shrimp fried rice. All were amazing. Waitress kept coming around to help flip the meat. Got a pint of Sapporo for 3.99 which is a good deal. Men's bathroom only had 1 toilet and 2 urinalysis which was not enough since the dinning room has a large capacity. Not bad, will come back to order beef package.

Very nice place. Different experience family experience especially first date place. Nice atmosphere. Tables are differently available your large size. Please use the smaller tables instead of the boost. They are more comfortable from person experience but all in all great place to visit quiet staff. Very helpful. Please remember the tip and be patient. Beverages are delicious

Food is good, what you expect from a good bbq restaurant. The smoke control is awesome and we didn’t feel any discomfort. The service is barely on par: on social media they advertised they’d help us grill everything but we ended up having to grill and flip most if not all of our things while the server would just be around but not making eye contact for us to request their help.

I ordered the beef combo, but the chadolbagi was tough and the bulgogi was too sweet. It's not something I'd want to eat again. The mul naengmyeon was okay. The lunch menu is inexpensive, so I'll probably try it next time.
