I can't begin to express my disappointment with this establishment. I have ordered different items from this restaurant over the years, But as you can guess by their name, They are known for Empanadas. All the other times I bought Empanadas, They were crunchy, hot and we'll made. As you can see by the picture, This time wasn't the case. They were flaky and sloppy. About 80% of the order of empanadas were poorly made with little to meat. It looked like the crust was premade and they inserted the meat with a tool. They didn't look hand made. The meat tasted bland and some of the empanadas didn't have a dot to distinguish them. You had to taste it to get the flavor. Lastly, it was if whoever prepared the order just threw them into a bag.

I went last thursday to get an empanada and a bola de yucca. Services was confusing. I didn't feel welcome. The lady there was rude as I asked 3 times what was my total. At first she made me repeat my simple order and then ignored my question to then tell me to go over there, at the other end of the counter. It's so damn annoying when people act like this. I've always evaded this location and i'm happy to continue doing so. I'm glad I didn't spend more than 4 dollars that day.

First time we ordered through uber eats, ordered two beef chimis and instead gave us two chicken chimis. Now we ordered to give them a second chance and ordered two beef chimis again. Well...we got what we ordered but slapping a distasteful burger meat between some lettuce and buns does not make this a chimi. The meat tastes bad so at this point, I'm eating the bread, lettuce and tomatoes only. This is not a chimi and will be our last time ordering from this place. I'll take my chances ordering from a fritura truck before ordering from this place again.

Service is horrible waited literally 45 min for 3 chimi n 1 yaroa only to come home and open my chimi and it barely have meat never ever going there

Nope , I wish I took a picture . So the lady handed me a cheese empanada and by the look and taste it was as soaked in oil . The taste that frying in cold oil gives I politely ask for an exchange and she refused stating that that’s how cheese empanadas are . So for a $3.25 I got a greasy mouth and disappointment . You guys are yo confortable on your reputation

I ordered 2 shakes a chimi and a empanada and they sent me a snapple and 3 empanadas instead of just saying they didn't wanna make the food. Food is a hit or miss anyways

Terrible service the server didn't have a clue what he was selling asked for a potatoe ball of of beef and was given a yuca ball of beef told guy he was giving me wrong one he argued with me it was not so i made him give me the right one i pointed too paid then open them up to show him the difference between them so he give the next person the right thing. Waste of money cause the yuca went in trash was nasty i guess thats why they try to sell it to unsuspecting people.

I have been craving good empanadas for over a week now and decided to try this place while I am working in the area and BOY DO I REGRET IT. These empanadas are terrible. They are bland and don't taste traditional at all. I am from Miami and these empanadas taste like white people tried to make empanadas and failed. (I can say this because I am white). Also I ordered their tres leches due to the delivery minimum since it was recommended on Delivery Dudes, and it was a soggy mess of what maybe once was a cake like item drowning in liquid. It was more like a soup. (Liquid was covereding almost 75% of the cake.) I would eat empanadas from literally anywhere else and steer clear of this place because I wasted $10 and wound up throwing more than half of my order in the garbage.

I used to be a regular customer here but on halloween 2016 I ate a chicken empanada from here that wasnt cooked correctly i even saw dark red stuff that looked like blood. I vomited shortly after and Im never going back😷DISGUSTING

Ridiculously long wait for a horrible sandwich (cooked lettuce, gross). The counter person gave us the wrong type of empanada and then basically implied that I was lying and refused to exchange it. Worst customer service I've ever received in Washington Heights, which says a lot. And did I mention the cooked lettuce? Terrible.
