Very Clean Good service very Friendly
I first received food that wasn't exactly fresh, it wasn't cold but it was freshly cooked. I asked the manager if he could replace the shrimp and fish with freshly cooked food and he was so nice about it and the food was excellent!
Best customer service experience I ever had! Staff was great, the dude at the drive thru was professional! He did forgot to give me some ketchup, and tartar sauce. I won't take away any stars for that, to trade in experiences for other restaurants that I had. He even made sure I got the cheapest meal for my buck! All 5 Stars, FINALLY!!
This is a combo LJS + KFC. Pretty much just as good as LJS has been for decades. Better than some, though. I had platter with 2 fish, 1 chicken, 3 shrimp, hushpuppies, plus 2 sides: fries and coleslaw. The slaw was aged enough that it wasn't just cabbage + dressing (which I hate), so that was a high point. Fried food was good. There were many tiny black specks all over the fries, but I didn't ask why. It didn't seem the grease / was actually old or dirty. Fries & hushpuppies were good. Chicken okay. Fish very good; thoroughly cooked but still tender and flaky inside. Shrimp pretty good; parts were a little bit tough. Still, shrimp is a favorite food, and I liked them. Dining room was clean, condiments mostly stocked. Workers were especially pleasant and made sure I had all I needed. Overall an excellent experience.
Great food and hats off to the young cashier! She seemed to be the only one working. Guy at window just stayed at the window and occasionally cleaned a tray but refused to help the overwhelming amount of customers in the dining room. Cooks were just standing around chatting but would also not help the cashier. She was a one woman circus, bless her heart! She took orders, handled complaints, she plated orders, cooked food, and cleaned! She needs a raise IMMEDIATELY!!! Good Job Miss! You are my hero!!! We had Fish and Shrimp, side of macaroni, hush puppies! Yum!!
Keep your eyes open. The GPS can't find it, only get you close.
Very narrow on the drive through but food is great.
Good food! It's very pricey for what you get. I guess since both KFC and Long John Silver are partnered, it was corporates' idea to raise prices.! I would go there often, but for fast food, it's too expensive! Also, restaurant counters need to be cleaned more, and the restaurant floor swept more.
I thought Long John's had gone out of business. I did enjoy it occasionally back in the day, but hadn't been in several years. This visit was pretty good. We had fish, shrimp, and clams. The fish wasn't hot or crisp, so I asked for a redo. They were happy to do it, and even gave an extra piece. Clams and shrimp were cooked perfectly. All in all, the food and service were pretty good. I'm glad we stopped by, and will return. We may try the chicken next time. I haven't had much luck with KFC over the past few years, this one may be better.
As you know all KFC are not equal. This is my favorite one. The store is clean and organized. Every time i come the chicken is fresh and delicious. The staff is nice and friendly. I only dislike when the staff talks to each other about your order and dont speak english.
Ordered a 3pcs fish combo & drink, a chicken pot pie & drink. The drink dispenser has Pepsi on both ends, but both were out! Then I tried the Dr Pepper same issue.. out. Nothing saying or noted drinks were out. Also, was not offered a discount since no drinks could be filled. I will say the potpie was delicious!😋 And my husband said the fish was great!🥳
Twice my order has been incorrect. I was short changed one piece of fish on one order & another didn’t give me a side order. Each time I was home when I discovered it. The drive thru is extremely narrow and there isn’t room to pull over to check the order. Frequently they are out of items that are popular.
I drove 20 minutes to KFC my grandfather is faithful. We passed by 2 local chicken spots, and he told me it has to be KFC. I haven't had fried chicken in several months, and I must say it was awesome. Keep up the good work.
I hadn't been to a Long John silver's in such a long time, due to them closing throughout the metroplex. I finally found this one off Abrams and Cooper Street in Arlington The service was great the young Latino gentleman at the window was very welcoming and kind. Food was okay not very fresh. Fries were soggy. Which is kind of odd for the KFC fries. I would have given a five-star if I hadn't found fish bones in my fish I immediately went and took the fish away from my sons, I was so afraid they would swallow.
The new triple dipper was gross, the mashed potato bites were cold so we're the tenders and the gravy. The only thing good was the cherry pie bites.
They have a combo Kentucky fried Chicken n long john silvers. Gave me Kentucky fried chicken fries??? Really yuck. Sorry but it's run by Indian country people and they are nice but have no idea they dont mix food franchises. I want fish not chicken products.
Food was not fresh. Cocktail sauce was no good. Not the best
We specifically ordered the KFC bucket for two people. It was a perfect divide of chicken thighs and dumbs with the addition of a singular wing and chicken breast. We however did not receive that perfect divide of pieces. One of us got stuck with two sad little wings instead of a chicken thigh. Not to mention the staff did not care about customer service. I barely got a response from the cashier, she didn't even check my order before handing it to me and gave me attitude when I opened the bag to count sides. The restaurant was surprisingly clean though so I guess there is that.
Food tasted great except the cold bland french fries. Lady at the register was rude as heck ! Just pure attitude. Co2 in the Dr.Pepper fountain drink wasn't working properly. Dirty dining area. Why were there lids taped to the condiments bar??
Decent customer service, however, the LJS side of this operation desperately needs to implement quality control measures with "warm lamp food times". Pre-cooking items and allowing them to sit for extended periods creates a dismal "Value For Price Paid" experience. It's ok to wait a few minutes for food that is freshly prepared rather than rushed kibble that shouldn't be served in the first place.
The fish and hushpuppies both taste burnt and cooked in old grease. The staff was nice enough to replace my order but the second batch was only 60% better. The staff was friendly.
I got a, 3 piece meal 2 wings & a leg. They left out the leg & gave me 2 of the worst wings I've ever had from a KFC!! Not to mention they didn't ask if i wanted original or crispy!! They improved the outside but need to work on the inside still. Oh & please don't give me anymore old fish filets, thank you!!
Just don't. The only way I knew my chicken from fish was shape and texture, not taste. The shrimp were little more than batter with shrimp tails. The sides were tiny and bland. The restaurant was clean, and the counter girl was polite and friendly. LJS mixed with a KFC wasn't going to be a full menu restaurant, but this was a phone it in kind of meal. If you want an LJS meal, find a stand-alone restaurant, not this halfway joint.
Sadly, this isn't a good one. Tried going two days ago and there were 5 people in line, all with complaints/wrong food etc.. I left and went to another location. They "didn't have any malt vinegar." Sorry but that's kinda one of y'all's things...I go today, only person in building and.. well the fryer oil probably hasn't been changed in 2 months.. I got the "taste" kinda, but not what this company used to be about... I only have two stars because they had vinegar the second time around.
They had no French fries, got Mac and cheese instead and it was cold. Gosh was barely warm. Never get any fish crispies any more. Have been going to this location a long time and it has really gone down hill!
Ordered online for pickup. We were the only customers. I bought a 2 piece meal (chicken was undercooked) and I got a 3 tender meal for T-Mobile Tuesday (tenders overcooked and hard to eat without chipping a tooth no biscuit, undercooked/raw fries).
I can see why this place has a low rating. The guy at the window was pleasant, but the fish was way over cooked. It was small and dark brown. Won't be going back to this place. Oct 31 Halloween Well .I lied. I came back to try it one time. Bad decision. I got 3 pieces of fish, 2 hush puppies and a chicken pot pie. The fish again were over cooked, dark brown and very greasy. The hush puppies were hard on the outside, overcooked and very greasy also. The pot pie was old and dry. They did put any utensils in the bag and were out of tartar ssuce. This place needs to hire a manager who cares. Very piss poor. I will continue back to driving to the next closest Long Johns in Ft. Worth off of 287. They cook the fish right.
My experiences with most Long John Silvers are usually good but not at this particular location near UTA around 2:15 p.m., which is also a KFC. It was hot outside, so I could excuse some of the debris in the parking lot. But to have no one at the front counter to take my order for several minutes is very upsetting, especially when I have a limited time for a lunch break. And what really" grinded my gears" like Peter Griffin, there was someone in the kitchen who saw me and just ignored me like I didn't exist. After several minutes of this, I said, "Excuse me, can someone please take my order? The young man looked at me, didn't say a word, and lifted his arm and hand to gesture to me to hold on but didn't stop to help me or shout out to let someone else know I needed help. Then, finally, a young lady appeared from the back of the kitchen area and took my order. I can remember back in the day when going to any fast food restaurant you would get at the very minimum a greeting and a smile whether you ordered something or not. Nowadays, you get attitude, and they make you feel as if you're are inconveniencing them. It's experiences like these that make me wish these fast food restaurants were all automated and get rid of these disrespectful and ungrateful workers today who don't have it in them to put on a fake smile and be pleasant to be around. I you're not happy where you work or you feel it's beneath you... DO NOT work in the SERVICE INDUSTRY!!! And to the people in charge of hiring in this industry. HIRE HAPPY PEOPLE, not just warm bodies. I believe there are fully automated McDonalds in Japan hint hint. Or just keep raising prices, shrinking food portions, and hiring the same quality employees, and maybe you'll work your way back full-blown COVID revenue days. Needless to say, I won't ever patron this establishment again. But I must say the soda machine worked perfectly and was refreshing. I wish I could say that about your people.
Didn't really care for the chicken sandwich I received. It was OK but, nothing to write about.
There was only 3 staff. No inside counter help. Hours posted stated until 1100 pm. It was 0815 pm on Tuesday night. True nearby UTA is still on break All area of available food behind counter was empty. Nobody would wait on me. I gave ample visibility even had young woman come up to me at counter place her hands in throw away gloves and not say anything walk away. No someone will be with you shortly etc. Lobby was open and people awaiting food for much. I finally decided go to drive through. Line was not long. Food was extremely greasy and cold French fries limp with grease. I sense the store needs to close. Help seemed very low morale. I would recommend health inspection done and likelihood of very long time food not at healthy temperature. Recommend closing it myself. It could not function in present state. It has both KFC and Long John menu.
Just hard to wait 10 minutes for someone to take an order in ding room when 4 cars have come and gone. Drive through has taken car of 5 cars now. I guess that is what happens when stats are about drive through and not customers waiting in dinnin room. They did have s customer walk out. But hey I did get offered a free drink. That was nice
This store needs more employees that have better customer service. The Long John Silver menu sucks and doesn't match what's offered on Uber Eats. Same for KFC too.
Food tasted old and dry like it was under the lamp too long. Wast very fresh.
As a kid we’d love eating at Long Johns… so today when I saw it I convinced my 13 yo to try it… get home and the fries aren’t even eatable.. hard as a rock and stale… such a disappointment! Fish pieces were small.. this use to be a great meal and it was ruined by stale and hard fries… do better!! You’re serving college kids most of the time who barely have funds to survive and this is what they’re getting… 😒
Had to wait for about 15 mins Just for them to take my order. Was told it would be 6 more minutes for fresh tenders, so I obliged. After all, who doesn't want fresh tenders? Needless to say about 12 mins later our order was ready. Or so I thought.. They forgot an entire combo.... After yet another 6 mins or so we had our order and left. Food was mediocre... Definitely not worth the 33 minute wait I endured staring at their disgusting drink fountain... When was the last time they cleaned that thing?!?!
The batter on fish and shrimp was cold and limp. Fries were cold. Pepsi no ice and tasted like water. The hush puppies were cold but had a good flavor. The over all experience was very bad.
Don't eat here. The food immediately made me sick. I couldn't finish because of diarrhea. Been sick for 2 days now. Health department should look into them
The other reviews are very true about how this store operates by its own rules. Truly a gamble of actually getting what you paid for. 1st time through everything's as it should be. 2nd time through received only two large fries instead of combo with drink. Very strange place.
Short staffed, but extremely rude. The manager that was on duty was the rude one, she asked to take our order in the drive through, when we finally ready and begun to order she interrupted with "im busy wait." I replied ma'am you just asked my order. She still went on to say that she knows but now she's busy so we have to wait. I went in to speak with her and gather a complaint number and store manager info, that she refused saying that all she had was an online survey. There is no one to report this to. I didnt even order, ill take my bag eles where🤪🤑💁🏾♂️
Horrible! Gave them several chances but NO MORE! Messed up our order again in several ways in just this order alone. Items we did not order were in the bag and others missing. Biscuits were sticky doughy inside. Soggy crust. The idiot that answered the phone hung up on me when I told her I needed a manager. And I could not even understand her. Hateful service. We will NEVER GO BACK!!!
Went through the drive-thru about 10:10 pm. Ordered an L1 and a L3. Also asked for an individual mashed potatoes and gravy. Was asked to stop at 1st window. Sat there for almost 5 min with no cars ahead of me. Then the guy waved me up to the main window. Reconfirmed my order and paid with my cc. He gave me my order and my card but no receipt. Got home and the 1st thing I realized is that the mashed potatoes are missing. When we open the 2 boxes we find the food over cooked greasy and tasted blah. The fries were undercooked. The slaw was ok. I called and the phone rang and rang, then someone picked up and hung up. Nice customer service.
Now I see why they have all but fell off the face of the earth. First the chic in the drive thru had a low key attitude, 2nd fries were way to salty, 3rd the shrimp, fish, hushpuppies and chicken were saturated with grease, 4th it wasn't fresh and you could tell it had been sitting. No ketchup was in the bag and the malt vinegar that was had some type of residue on them like something got wasted on the packets and dried up, yuck! Needless to say won't ever be back and if I had made it all the way back to work I would have gotten my money back! Just garbage!
I have been disappointed in Long John Silver’s the last several times. This time was no better, but a little worse. I ordered 2 fish and six shrimp with fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. The coleslaw was delicious. The shrimp and the hush puppies were inedible. A few of the french fries on top of the rest of the food were decent tasting and hot but the fries beneath were old tidbits and cold. The fish was almost inedible. I was able to eat the center of each piece. A big waste of over $10.00. LJS doesn’t deserve any stars. What has happened to LJS? I don’t see how they stay in business.
My daughter and I wanted Long John Silvers today, so I drove 5 miles to the nearest one. I was very disappointed when I got back home. The food had been sitting for a while and it was hard, cold and one order was missing a piece of fish. Tried to call them about the order and they wouldn't even answer the phone.
Strong old grease odor upon entering. Staff non existent. Waited 5 minutes. Employee saw us standing at the counter and did not acknowledge our presence. Counted to ten slowly and exited the building to avoid a poor experience. Can you say DUMP
Honestly wish I could give no stars. I First found out the hard way that the drive thru was not working then decided to go inside. I have been waiting for over and hour for my food. Only after four people who order after me got there food did they tell me they didn't have the long Johns chicken only KFC chicken. My kiddo only eats the long Johns chicken and the KFC chicken doesn't sit well with me. When I told the woman this she went and talked with another employee who said cook some more chicken. Then both ladies walked away without saying a word to me. So here I am still waiting watching person after person get there food. I will be calling their store manager and calling corporate because I work in the food industry as well and would never leave a place so dirty and have such awful customer service. Plus I will also be calling the health inspector. The more I sit here the more I want a refund and just make hotdogs at home.
Had my worse experience ever here. Ordered 2 chicken and 6 shrimp with fried cole slaw and 6 extra hush puppies with a DP. When we got to the window she asked me twice what drink I told her DP I give her $10 never gave me a drink receipt or my change also I check my order there was no shrimp or extra hush puppies and NO DRINK she finally came to the window and I told her about hush puppies she gave us cookies instead we drive off and I realized no drink I drive back and go inside I tell her my issues and told her I got no receipt my change no shrimp. She gave me the shrimp and hush puppies and drink I open my box the chicken is raw, hush puppies are crunchy. Ive come here often since it’s close but this will be the last. The young Lady helping seemed bothered and irritated. Servive and food is less than a 1
My place of employment enjoys fish for lunch however each time I drive through to purchase my order this new employee will now not allow me to do multiple orders which is an inconvenience for a small business will lmiited time for lunch. Also he needs to work on his customers service skills.
Literally the worst location I've been to. The employees are a knowledgeable about their menu as well as rude. I came the first time and he had no clue what I was talking about when speaking on the receipt coupon that simply is easiest turning it over. The second time I came back he was still just as Clueless and they were out of fries. The lady handed me my food out the window without saying anything. No such thing as customer service here
Ok, I wish I had read reviews 1st. I went about 2pm and ordered L1(2pc fish combo). The fish was so old, thin and dry it was wafer-like. The Cole slaw was warm and slightly brown. It was packaged in KFC containers and sack. I could not eat nor did I want to drive back the distance. I grew up on Long John's Silver and will sadly admit this was the worst experience. I would definitely reconsider if you are considering this location. I give 1 Star because the water in my KFC cup was cold.
First time going back to a LJS since the location on Cooper across from the Walmart messed up my order and then closed. Decided to give this location a try since i wanted to trey the new Shrimp basket that was being advertised all over tv. Pull up to the drive through and guess what, no shrimp baskets, they don't know anything about them. SO, I decided to get a couple 2-piece fish meals. Try to order green beans, say they don't sell those, so have to settle for French fries. At least I knew they would have slaw since it was a FKC as well. Get home and the fish is greasier than Captain D's and what I remember LJS being. Bite into the hush puppies, and they were like eating drywall. Seemed like they grabbed a couple that had been sitting a few days, hard and dried out, no moisture at all. Ordered a couple Pepsi's to drink and they both tasted like a weird mix of Pepsi and something tangy, just tasted off. Only ate half a piece of fish and a few sips of the drink, ended up cooking a tv dinner instead.
They don’t care about people’s orders or dashers picking up we waited 30 min for an order and when asked how much longer they said it hasn’t started kfc workers just sitting around and having conversations as new customers are coming they are going and I’m still waiting this long unbelievable if you don’t want to work then don’t work there and waste others people time and money.
Order a 2pc fish combo, when I got home my fish and fries was old fish was soggy and flabby. Taste like it was fried fried hours ago. I called back spoke with a guy who was manager he told me it was not old but he see I like my food fresh super hot.... Are you serious right now who don't want there food they pay for hot. He said bring it back he will make my food to my liking but it was as if he was making a joke out of it. I brought food back and just asked for a refund. He looked at the food and agreed it was old. Didn't offer to give a refund and remake order or anything considering I just drove back up here for $6.48. Very inconsiderate, I waited at the counter 3 minutes before anyone even came. I will never go back there.
I went to this restaurant last night. They pulled me up to the front of the store to wait on my order. When my order came out I noticed my drink and Cole slaw missing. Then when I got home which is not but two minutes away. I went to eat my food. Well I made it home with four pieces of shrimp but no fish. I tried to call and they continued to hang up on me. Tried again the next day and got the same thing. So tomorrow I will be going in person for a major complaint with the store general manager. I am beyond not happy with this location and do not suggest anyone go there. They obviously do not care about there customers at all
The food was terrible. They was out of ketchup. They was out of fountain drink. The floor was dirty
Long wait to be served even though they were not busy. MGR/Supervisor on duty was disorganized and could not motivate his team. Not one single person greeted customers coming in or thank them from coming. Service was poor. No contact numbers provided to contact corporate if needed. I use to love LJS but if this is how they operate now I can see why their stores are closing Food was NOT fresh. Seemed stale
Missing receipt and most importantly a portion of my meal. Phone does not work so don’t try calling. Will be reporting to corporate
I have eaten at your establishments for many years dating back to the 70'S and loved it. However, your food no longer lives up to your high standards of days gone by.. But. your staff is still quite nice and efficient and served my food hot in a timely manner with a cheerful voice and big smile. I have no desire to order your food again.
It states they close at 10. I arrived at 9 an ordered a L5 which is one piece of chicken an one piece of fish with a side of your choice an a drink as well. A employee who worked overnight said they were already closed. I guess the close early or choose an pick if they want cook. Than they had someone just sitting in the drive thru waiting on a order instead of the front of the building their order isn’t ready. Terrible experience what’s the point in having a time you close when the employees choose an pick when they want to serve the customers? Unprofessional has to do better with service.
The food was horrible. I was there at 7:48pm, no fried wings or breasts for 20 minutes. Paid $7.57 for a piece of dry fish and dry tender. Tried to locate the regional manager online to complain. KFC will not survive if this does not change!! Do not frequent, awful 😞.
Star ratings depend on what day you go on. First, you should know this is an LJS and KFC in sharing the same building. The first time I stopped here, I would of given this place 4 stars. (-1 Star for Pepsi products) I ordered an L2, which is 2 chicken planks, fries, and drink. Plus, I added an order of crunchy crums. I also added a KFC original recipe chicken breast. No problems at all. The Hispanic manager guy took my order and whipped out a perfect lunch, and even hooked me up with plenty of crums. Everything was served hot, fresh, and fast. The Pepsi product sucked. It was a tasty lunch, so I went back 5 days ago and tried to place the exact same order, which took 15 minutes to place due to a language barrier. What I ordered and what I received was a world apart. I received 4 chicken planks, very few crumbs, and NO fries and no KFC chicken breast. Luckily, I had to pay separately for the KFC due to the brutal ordering ordeal. I had to show my separate KFC receipt to get my chicken. Never got my LJS fries. From 4 stars to 1 pending on the day you go. So go easy on yourself. Just don't go to this location!
Not good. Zero stars. The first time I ordered here, they got my order wrong and I had to return to get it corrected. This time they left out the sides on two of the meals I ordered so I had to go back inside and get them. The guy who took my order inside actually told me to come back if they forgot anything, so I checked everything before I left. As other people’s reviews stated, my long John silvers chicken was VERY dry and rubbery, I couldn’t eat it, And the batter on all of our meal’s and the hush puppies were very dark, And my wife’s fish was dark outside And uncooked inside, like the fryer grease was too old. Literally the only smiling face I saw was with the customer behind me. I was not greeted, And I was not a valued customer. The place was unkept, And there were was trash thrown about, and there was just me and one other customer in the building, so housekeeping shouldn’t have been an issue. There are too many of these negative reviews for their management to not take notice. This is the worst fast food I’ve eaten in many years. I’m sorry to have bothered them. I won’t make that mistake again. UPDATE: I emailed the LJS corporate office with my complaint and they never responded.
I will never be going back to that location ever again. The, i’m assuming manager, was extremely rude and has the biggest attitude over the mic and in person through the window. As we were waiting for our food to be remade because it was the wrong order we could hear him through the window being extremely rude over the mic to the woman ordering behind us. Very snide and very disrespectful. Now i’m not usually one to go on about how the customer is always right, because we’re usually not, but have some sort of manners especially when we as customers have done nothing wrong to inconvenience you as an employee.
If you like a dirty restaurant, greasy floors, disgusting condiment station and food that you can't eat - then this is your place. Will never eat here again after finding both plastic and human (or at least I think it was human) hair in my food. The front door was broken so it slammed every time someone came in or out. The ceiling was leaking as well, so there was water on the already slick greasy floor. Waited a good bit of time for someone to come and take my order - they saw me standing there waiting, but no one would take my order. If I hadn't had a guest with me, I would have completely walked out and not given them my money.
Cashier : Dennis- Great Customer Service Skills! Food: Was the WORST ever. I order the L3 let me tell... I think they gave me lefts over from a week ago. The shrimp , fish, chicken was very hard and dried up. The shrimp was rubbery almost had a tart taste. The hush puppies was over cooked that was super dry. My fries where so aweful. The only thing that was good,, with that being said... Was the coleslaw and Dennis ..Omg..i was very angry... I was hungry too. WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS LOCATION.
I am usually easy to please when it comes to takeout. That being said, this was the worst experience I have ever had with takeout. The smell from the window as I was paying should have warned me off, but like a fool I kept going. Got chicken, fish and hush puppies for myself and a chicken meal for one son. The fish was so disgusting I finished one small bite before I quit, same with the chicken plank. The hush puppies were so bad I spit the bite out and threw away the entire meal. Brushed my teeth immediately to get rid of the nasty taste. This was the second attempt to get food here, first was not much better so I am giving up!
Absolutely incompetent. I wish I'd read other reviews on here before I went to this restaurant for the first time. Especially the ones about abhorrent food safety. I went there and they've customized the menu to exclude every combo that includes more than one piece of fish. So I ordered extra fish. When my order was ready the woman brought it from the back and put it on the counter and another customer picked it up and walked away with it. Once they finally figured out what happened they went to make my order again, and then I went home. An extremely excessive amount of time in a fast food restaurant. When I got home the two extra pieces of fish that I paid for were non-existent. And of course, I had no receipt and no one answered the phone. These people have no clue how to run a restaurant and should lose their franchise.
Drove up paid ...guy said pull up. As I was pulling up he yelled come back. He gave me the drinks. Then said go back around. I parked out front door...they took long so I decided to go inside and ask for extra tartar sauce. They were all loud and talking. Music in background. The fish was hard and dull, salty and tasted like they refried it. Everything was too salty fries tasted like they were redipped in oil as well. Not happy at all.
I asked for a half and half tea, the guy with the long bar and loop earring gave me 100% sickeningly sweet sweet. Then, on my drive home, I nibbled on the fries and Long John's chicken. The chicken was stale and halfway dried out. Between the bad chicken and the sickeningly sweet tea, my stomach was doing somersaults and yeeted the bad chicken and tea right out when I arrived home. It was a total disappointment, but a reminder why I stopped going to this restaurant.
If I could give this store a zero I totally would. The manager took my order and not only was he extremely rude he completely messed up my order. When I drove back across town to have my order fixed. He then proceeded to make the poor girl at the front put the food back with the new food that I had just brought back from home that was wrong. My child had took a bite out of one of the chickens which was put in the trash and the other two she had not bitten out of they put back in the heater and remember it's in a box all together and she has strep. The fish that they put back with all the other fish was touched by my patient who is also sick. Which also contaminated all of the fish. March 21st at 8:30 p.m... if anyone wants to see the camera footage. This is ridiculous and disgusting.. how do I call OSHA?
Went through the drive through at night wanting to get a simple meal for me and my mom. It took almost 10 minutes before they even took my order. I said "hello" into the intercom to see if they were still there and the worker replied "m'am, if you can't wait then I don't know what to tell you". I would've left I If two cars hadn't already pulled up behind me. I finally gave them my order, and they didn't repeat it, so I had a feeling it would be wrong. Lo and behold, after waiting another 10 minutes for my order I saw that they had in fact forgotten an item. I pointed out that I had requested the item at the same time as my initial order. The worker didn't apologize or offer to comp the item, they just went ahead and took another 7 minutes to give me my shrimp. Needless to say, that is the last time I will ever be going there.
. I ordered online and still had to wait 5-10 mins for my food, then the nuggets were Undercooked and the Tenders were overcooked. After a wait that long I thought my food would be fresh, but this was TERRIBLE. Wasted almost $50 on this awful food and service! This KFC just gets worse and WORSE!!
Honestly this location needs to completely close down. The floors are sticky, the bathrooms are dirty. The drink fountain only had three flavors in service and the tables were dirty as well. It is very unsanitary and I am surprised the health department hasn’t come by to close the building for good. I don’t even think actual adults over the age of 25 work here it is really bad. There is a generation gap these days and this location shows how bad things have gotten when it comes to hard workers. Very poor management and lazy staff at this specific location. It was a great location 15 to 20 years ago but like I said the generation gap definitely shows that they just don’t care about their job or how to properly supply and sanitize a fast food facility. This location needs to do better it’s right by the college and is being treated like a run down poor fast food joint.
My husband is allergic to shrimp. We asked them for fish. The Manager said EVERYTHING from the long John silver side... even the fries, are cooked In the same grease. He said EVERYTHING on the kFC side is cooked in the same grease. It smelt like porta poties. Never again!!
The chicken was horrible. Too greasy and looked like it's been refried many times. The biscuit was dry and tasted like cardboard. Save your money and go to the McDonald's on the other side which serve you fresh food with good hygiene.
Dirty restaurant, the lady at the front counter was rude. She didn't get my order right and left to talk on phone. I said dine in but they made my order to go. When I did get my food it was what been lying under a heat lamp all day and re dipped in fryers. Tough, dry, dark, and oily. I had to get my money back. Even worse they gave me back all 1 dollar bills and quarters. I paid with card. Don't waste your time coming here.
Fish was good, although I had to super-special please request tartar sauce. This is a joint restaurant with KFC. Of 8 pieces, we ate 4 pieces of chicken before opening one where the chicken was rotten. It smelled absolutely like decaying meat. At least one more was bad, but we didn't keep checking. Lady was polite and refunded our money, but probably won't revisit this place. Cleanliness and food health isn't an accident.
Dirty with poor service. Over cooked food. Manager is not qualified to run this place and obviously doesn’t care about customers.
Long John silvers has always been one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Today is definitely the last time I ever go again. I do not recommend going to this location. I ordered one combo was asked to park up front by the exit another car behind me honked because I blocked them in since I was told to park there. Had to drive around the building. Got off to see if food was ready and the fish and hush puppies completely cold as if they sat on the side since the morning. Horrible experience starting off with a rough morning and then having to deal with this was just the icing on the cake. Didn’t have the energy to go back and ask for refund just threw the food out. No one go to this location it’s just horrible
The front doors looked like it had never been clean because of the greasy fingerprintson the glass, the drink machine was sticky on the floor, the window ledge had never been cleaned, and I wiped it down. I didn't want to look at the dead flies while I was eating. According to my boyfriend, there was hair up high by the handle of the urinal and not wiped clean. The three employees were on their phones, and the front cashier sorta cleaned the lobby. She was nice to us, at least. I love giving high ratings, but I can't. I love Long John Silver's.
We have had just about the worse KFC experience ever! After several times confirming at the counter that our order was for the original recipe, we got home only to find out it was some…weird fried chicken. It tasted bland and had the light-yellow color of the crispy recipe, yet, it had a sense of original. We drove it back to the store and (we think) the manager approached us and he said it’s original and it must be the oil. He offered to make us a fresh batch (12piece bucket meal). Just behind me was a lady and she was also complaining of the same thing. She however was impatient and asked for a refund and left. Half an hour later, driving back home, again it tasted bland to the three of us. It tasted like the batter might have been diluted or something. It had hints of the original, but none of the flavor we recall and love so much. Something has changed with the original colonel secret recipe…. or this local shop is messing around, not sure. We will not be returning to this store again. Corporate need to conduct a secret shopper investigation on this franchise location.
Do not put that you have tarter and condiments in bad for door dash if it ain't there cause they cant do anything about it cause u put it was in there..
Just bought a platter and it’s undercooked, and inside chicken was pink and fish was too salty. First they gave me wrong order and I told him I don’t want your food just refund my money, but he said I’ll fix it no worries. We waited again and finally after after 25 minutes. The food was nasty. The order taker keep shutting the window on us. Shame on them.
We got there and we waited 20 minutes before they opened. It says it opens at 10:30am. I walk in with my family i thought we were getting hot piping food wrong we got out food out the where they get the chicken out the glass doors, i spent good money fish, chicken n shrimp warm. Thought fish n shrimp were supposed to be dropped as you order. Well i will never eat there again. We saw the ladies there scratching n handling the food with out gloves gross.
Husband went in to order food and did not receive what we paid for. Food was not cooked completely through and cold. No receipt was give while we did not get what we paid for. Called the location and the voicemail box was full. No answer. Called a sister store in Grand Prairie and they were AMAZING. They helped me find someone to call. Called that person and was sent to voicemail. I am wondering if I will ever get a call back and get my money. I WILL NEVER GO TO THAT LOCATION Again. I will always go to the Grand Prairie location.
Horrible! I will never ever eat again LJS! The fish was dripping with oil when trying to cut to eat. It was fried in stale oil which had residues of earlier fried material. This material got burnt when my portion was fried and stuck on the fish. Wish i could have given a -10.
Rushed through order, order was wrong, missing shrimp and chicken.. No condiments even asked for them. I got a lot of French fries and a piece of fish. I ordered additional hush puppies. I ordered 6 extra and got 4.
They were very rude. Yes she said I'll be right with you. But instead of taking my order she wiped out trays. How rude is that. I stood at that register asking for someone to please take my order, because I am diabetic and wanted a coke. They just kept walking by me like I was invisible. I stood there for about 10 or 12 minutes. So I just left and made it to the Valero across the street to get a coke. Very poor service and a bunch of rude unprofessional people.
This place is messy. No one clean up after themselves or coworker even bother to clean up. This need for a state board inspection to come and reevaluate for the cleaniness. The chubby lady manager look like she have an attitude. Barely can speak english... when ask to use coupoun she point at the menu this is the daily... what a joke. Dont know if this a franchise anymore..
The Guy who took my order let them know to drop my order fresh. But they pretended to drop fresh fish and preceded to give me the fish that was stored in the heat box. With chicken and fish I understand it takes a while but the food looks as if it been in the hot box for a while. But the fries and hushpuppy were fresh.
Super disappointed!! Ordered fish and shrimp combo and 2 extra fish. Paid $30 dollars and this is what I get a half size fish that is more batter than fish maybe 1.5 inches by 1 inch wide. What the heck is this then only three little shrimp less than half an inch big. No hush puppies no crumbs just what's in the picture. 1 fish and three measly little shrimps. Where is the crispies? Where are the sides?
Probably one of the worst locations I've been to they're understaffed not clean and can barely understand English which sucks cuz I like both franchises but when I got Long John silver's it just wasn't even close to being up to par I really wish they had strong leadership here could be a fantastic location especially so close to the college.
This place is ridiculously understaffed. There's literally only one person working and ten customers waiting in line. If you place a takeout order, don't bother coming to the restaurant until the app says the food is ready, because it might be 20 to 30 minutes before it actually gets made. This is in regards to a single chicken sandwich.
