Great food and prices cannot go wrong so good

My husband and I stopped here on a whim, we had our dog with us and needed to be dining outdoors. The hospitality was outstanding! The host was very friendly, and the food was some of the best we’ve ever had. My husbands always adds a chili relleno to his meal- he said the rellenos are the best he’s had. The rice was excellent too. I had a quesadilla and it was very large, so you will get your moneys worth here. The place was clean and the outdoors had a heater! Thank you for an awesome lunch!

Have been here more than once and the food and service are always amazing. I Recommend the burritos! Menudo is also great. Free chips and a full salsa bar. They have outdoor and indoor seating . It’s a Perfect lunch spot when in Grover Beach.

Everything was ready on time & ready to go when Iarrived. They even called to confirm which meat I wanted in my bowl. They were very professional and fast.

Very flavorful food. Everything came out fast and seems fresh. Salsa bar and chips are fun. The pollo (shredded chicken) is in some sauce that is packed full of flavor. Loved it in the super burrito. Others in the party loved it in the burrito bowl. The rice and beans are very flavorful. Flautas were a hit even with the kids.

La Parrilla is my favorite Mexican food place in this area. The food is fresh and the services great, always with a smile!

This is a simple order at the counter Mexican restaurant. But don't let that fool you. The food is excellent! Their selection is rather large and I was a bit overwhelmed by the options. The man behind the counter asked me a few questions about my likes and dislikes, then recommended a carne asada wet burrito. It was delicious and very large. They have self service chips and salsa. Their salsa is excellent. If you like spicy, then try the watermelon salsa. (Trust me. It's very good)

Casual dining but the outside area is nice. Warm chips and salsa bar - Salsa was some of the best I’ve ever had. Tacos and chile relleno was delicious. Great service. Definitely coming back!

The best carnitas tacos ever, beyond my imagination of off the chain, scrumptious! Wish it was where I live, just passing through & definitely something I will miss being a regular frequent taco Tuesday 2 for $5, beyond excellent 👌👌👍👍 fried crispy on the edges yet still a tender succulent bite to eat & seasoned to perfection, a must try!!! Very hospitable & the flan is to die for, the texture is between pumpkin pie & cheesecake & it tastes like custard, soooooo yummy to perfection! Definitely highly recommend this place! The people are so nice, definitely give them a try!

We stumbled upon La Parrilla Taqueria in Arroyo Grande, and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The place was sparkling clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The service was top notch. We ordered the carne asada torta, and it was absolutely divine. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the whole sandwich was packed with fresh, delicious ingredients. I also couldn't resist trying the chile rellenos, and they did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The flour tortillas are so fresh and flavorful! The watermelon habanero salsa is a flavor explosion. The sweet watermelon perfectly balances the heat of the habanero, creating a unique and utterly addictive salsa. To finish off we got an order of fresh churros to go. Honestly, I can't recommend La Parrilla Taqueria enough. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food with amazing service and a clean, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious and as close to authentic as you can get in AG. I had the Torta Jersey which was a great balance between the three proteins is comes with (carnitas, ham, and pastor) while still having the yummy taste of the other toppings like the jalapeños and sour cream. We also tried their barbacoa fries which were very tasty and a wonderful portion and their barbacoa quesadilla. It came with its consomé and it honestly packed a lot of flavor in every bite! They have salsa and chips on the side and although the salsas are not spicy they are very flavorful. I highly recommend!

Wife and I ate their last night for the first time. Very impressed. The food was pretty fantastic. I had the tacos, they rival my local favorite in Efren's. I don't recall the name of what my wife ordered, however I had a bite and it was pretty tasty. The rice and beans were good, had some heat to them, though I over ate and couldn't eat it all. The service was nice. It is a small venue but was clean and had a very steady flow of folks coming in. Definitely would recommend and will go back.

This place is so delicious. Great variety of food on the menu. Went in for a shrimp cocktail and it did not disappoint! Very clean, friendly service, good prices. The salsas were good, the sauce on the burrito was good along with the burrito being huge. Great overall, recommending to everyone and can’t wait to go back.

Great food (fish, al pastor, and chorizo tacos), great service, super clean, delicious salsa bar, chips included. Large patio, lots of shaded seating! Parking lot shared with CVS so it’s easy to park. Awesome spot.

I had the Parilla burrito bowl with carne asada, wife had 2 sopes. They were both delicious. The 2 sopes Chile Verde sopes were filling by themselves. The salsas at the salsa bar are tasty. If they have the Watermelon Habanero salsa it's a must try!

Mucho sabor! The menu at this eatery is vast, typical Mexican dishes and a smattering of seafood specialties. The main draw at La Parrilla seems to be the barbacoa…because it is dang good! Get the tender meat on nachos, in a taco, burrito, bowl and other iterations. The restaurant has a $2.50 taco Tuesday deal and is open from 9am until 9pm everyday. Standout for me is the molido de roja sauce! 🌯 Some people say “wet burrito” but I’ve always thought of it as “smothered”. I ordered the La Parrilla burrito which was filled with whole beans, flavorful rice, guacamole, bell peppers & tender barbacoa draped with the warm red chile sauce. I think it was an additional $1.50 to smother over my burrito. The warm chips and salsa bar were self serve while you wait, but I assure you the wait won’t be long. Food moves out of the grill window pretty quick!

Very clean. Clean restaurant and bathroom equals clean kitchen. Besides that, Outstanding service. I recommend the enchiladas. I like a lot of cheese and they had that. Prices were good. Tacos were good but smaller than usual. I would say this is a place you get a flauta and a big plate. The menu is huge. They have tons of salsa and pickled vegetables. A chip bar and real forks and knives. Very nice set up. I don’t drink but their mango margarita looks beautiful in the picture. But definitely go for a bigger plate and I tested the flan. Excellent. I’ll be back.

Mmm this place is actually pretty 😊 bomb! Expensive but it is Pismo/grover beach area. Portions were better than most around here. Free chip bar help yourself! Love that. Food was fulfilling. Not like a plate in LA or the Bay area. But it will do.

Very good food and impressively large portions. The combination plates are big and come with the usual: rice, beans, and then a bit of guac and sour cream. Comparatively, the prices are fair for the 5 Cities Area, as well as the Central Coast in general. I was only disappointed once when I ordered a carne asada burrito, which contained more lettuce than steak. Update: I went back and had the birria quesa taco platter, which isn't technically on the menu, but I think they serve it on the weekends. It was very good and very filling. However, I also ordered a taco al pastor and a carne asada taco, and the taco al pastor was not good at all. The meat was nearly tasteless and the texture wasn't that great, fairly rubbery.

This is a place where you order at the counter, then find a seat. Lots of outdoor seating, which is great. The music is just slightly too loud inside for me. I like that you can get your own warm chips (use a provided bag, not a basket, because salt will just go all over the table), and there's a salsa bar. Otherwise, it was just OK for me. I would go back, but it's not a favorite.

Food was average…. Pastor lacked flavor and sope was hard as a rock……. They also messed up my order twice along with the wrong protein…..employee are helpful but food specifically the meat could be way better.

Service was great. Carne asada tacos were decent, the mix fajitas did not have much flavor.

Both times I’ve ate here both of my meals have been way to spicy to enjoy more than a couple bites :/ I get Mexican food is spicy but geez

Ordered a burrito bowl and it was so full of a liquid i can only assume is grease. Even after I drain it some, there was still so much. The bowl had mostly wilted lettuce, maybe 2 bites of rice, and a handful of beans. The meat was FULL of fat and was so gross. This place used to be so good, but the past 2 times has been so disappointing.

Food is good, staff is friendly, not sure what happened to the horchata? It doesn't taste the same, and I didn't realize that 12 Oz drinks were 6.00 each. That's a bit outrageous! Other than that it's all good!

I’ve been eating at this place for over a year! It started off being pretty good but the last six or so visits have gone down hill! Yesterday was the deal breaker! I got it to go and the guy put in the bag wrong and the enchilada sauce ran out of the box! When I got it home it was awful and I could only eat a few bites of it! I threw the rest in the trash! I will never go back!!

Super friendly staff, great chip and salsa bar, But the crunchy shell chicken tacos were unbelievably bland. :/ I’ve had a burrito bowl here before that I really enjoyed, so maybe the tacos just aren’t their thing.

Beware of the super quesadilla! Apparently, they add all the toppings (sour cream, guacamole, lettuce) inside of it— which turns it into a pile of slop. It was a soggy, wet inedible mess. We tossed it straight in the trash.
