Very good food and atmosphere. Love the decor. Great spot for dates, especially if you wanna impress a hottie with your knowledge of natural wines.
The menu changes with the seasons and i recently went in to try the new dishes, yum! There are a lot of vegetable and meat options of bold flavor pairings and everything is cooked to perfection and tastes of high quality, the waiter explained that a lot of the meat and vegetables are all from local purveyors and most of the wines are natural. They even had a delicious sparkling non-alcoholic “wine” that paired well with the food. I am still dreaming of our meal and i could do it all again. I recommend trying: the mackerel on toast, Braised leeks, roasted cauliflower, and the boneless ribeye! Save room for homemade ice cream :)
DiWine is such a great spot. The atmosphere is really nice and perfect for a date night. The food was great, the drinks were great too, and everything came out fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the night. Can’t wait to be back.
Burrata, cheese board, sweet spicy pizza and the summer salad were delicious. Don't skip on the burrata! Great wine selection and loved our intimate booth. Can't wait to come back!
Omg, this place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is incredible, it gives off late-night bar/club vibes but in a more chill, relaxed way. I’m not sure if I’m describing it perfectly, but it feels a little dark, kind of romantic, and definitely has a hipster touch. The food and drinks are outstanding, and the staff is super nice and helpful. If you ever come here, you have to try the seafood, especially the swordfish. It's so delicious and perfectly cooked, the kind of dish that literally melts in your mouth. I’ve been here twice, and both times the food tasted just as amazing. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
The ambience here is absolutely gorgeous — warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. The service is attentive, helpful, and incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. The food was absolutely incredible; I honestly think you can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu. Both the cocktails and mocktails were lovely, and the fact that they also offer lite beers is such a thoughtful touch. I’m thoroughly impressed with the food, drinks, service, and décor. Truly a must-try at least once!
Another nice place, to have a romantic and beautiful night, with my husband, love the fact that they have one of my favorite trail of cheese to be accomplice with the perfect taste wine, I don’t eat pizza but they have very nice light pizza which have one of my favorite arugula salad, delicious fresh and home make.. The wine was a perfect of taste name is kind of glou., We love the atmosphere so nice and the area with the curtains give to the space a perfect elegante and romantic touch.. definitely will be back, we love there it’s like a the secret place.. totally recommend to try..you will love it..Romantic but adorable as well.. ❤️
My favorite wine bar! I’m a regular and love coming here. They have a solid food menu with pizzas, charcuterie boards, and other fun bits. I’m a big fan of their pizzas - specifically the Tuscan Margarita pizza or Italian Summer pizza - and prefer it to other local pizza places in the area. I’ve tried most of their pizzas and they’re all very good. Charcuterie boards are delicious but at $27 for the smallest, this one’s probably one that’s not worth the price. Wines are great and they recently introduced a cocktail menu too. Service is attentive and ambiance is spectacular. They have private booths/draped areas you can reserve that allow more privacy and a cozy experience. I usually sit at the bar and it never gets too too busy when I go on a weekday evening. I see many people on dates here often. Price-wise, it’s a wine bar. You’ll pay about ~$15 for a glass or cocktail and more with food. Food is higher priced but most options I would say are delicious and worth the price! One thing I love about DiWine is they have jazz and music nights too. If you want to grab a glass after work and listen to smooth music, this is a great place to do it! Never too crowded during these nights.
I got taken on a date there and was ENCHANTED! Was so cozy, the music was great and the decorations were cute. I recommend sitting in a booth, made me feel like I was a little kid again! All the food was excellent and the natural wine selection was extensive, and the servers were knowledgeable.
First visit here specifically for wine. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wine choices. The bartenders were friendly, lighting, romantically dim❤️ and live jazz to top it off. The happy hour wine was also great! The happy hour oysters were surprisingly meaty! Pasta was yummy! Will be returning to say the least!
Went here for brunch and had the best time. The live music was spectacular (Dina Marie Dimarco), the food was very good. We would definitely come back to try out the rest of the menu.
10/10 would recommend! We only came here for appetizers but we will definitely be back for dinner! The food was delicious and the staff was incredible and super helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend the grilled octopus and cheese board ( Gouda and manchengo were our favorites ) - paired greatly with the Cabernet Sauvignon. & the crème brûlée was delicious!
We celebrated my husbands big birthday there and were looking into few restaurants prior to deciding on Diwine… Joao (event planer and bartender there) was the first one to email us the approximate cost estimate, right after we just left the Diwine! We heard from other few restaurants we were looking into- after the party! Such amazing service , so quick, genuine, professional and very caring! We just briefly told him how we imagined the party to be and he knew exactly! Right away he gave us few options! The party itself was amazing! They decorated the restaurant so we didn’t have to worry about anything! The atmosphere was simply perfect! Every single person who works there was hands on, our guests kept complimenting us during the party and even now, over a week later , we are receiving messages and calls! The food… service and food is hard to describe, one feels like in one of the high end restaurants on the upper east side! I worked in 5* hotels for more than 20 years and service and food at Diwine overpassed every luxury experience I ever had! I would highly recommend this cozy, lovely place for a intimate party for up to 70 ppl( we originally had 50 but it turned out to be 70) ! If you’re looking for a place with great food and amazing service , look no further! I never have 5* but Diwine deserves even more ! I can’t wait to go there for dinner with my family !
Perfect date spot in Astoria! Top things to get here: wines, calamari, mini skewers and the Pizza! We came here for dinner. It’s has an intimate chill feel with the best music playlist and amazing wine selection! We took the waiters recommendations. The food took a bit but it was worth the wait! We loved the calamari, this was fresh crispy and had a great tangy sauce. The mini skewers were cooked perfectly, tender and juicy with a spicy chimichurri sauce. The pizza had yummy sauce slight tang, crispy dough not burnt wild mushrooms smacked and the meat was a crispy bacon so good. The dessert was on point too lava cake and crème brûlée. We haven’t rated desert in a bit so we went all out!
I found this place online, and decided to try it. Made reservation for my birthday, for 10 ppl. Place is super cute, food was great, great choice of wine and cocktails! And, service was amazing! Table was ready when I got there, server was great, and they even sent me deserts on the house at the end (that was really nice) 🥰 Our server was Kate, super nice and professional. Thank you for great time and great birthday dinner! Will definitely go back!
Great amazing place!!! A true hidden gem in NYC! The food is so fresh and high end, the drinks are sophisticated. The best part for my girls night out was Libby’s great wonderful service! She was so professional and attentive, she made our night! Beautiful decor and ambience. Highly recommend!
What a hidden gem on the outskirts of astoria. Great service and cocktails with an experienced staff. The food was great too. The waitress noticed we had a lot of broth in our mussel bake so she went and asked the chef to give us some special toasted bread for dipping. Made our night. Will absolutely be going back to this place.
Such a hidden gem! Had the best time. Food was unexpectedly good for a wine bar and the atmosphere was super relaxing and romantic. They could have staffed more people. Other than that, the only person serving did a good job. Would go again
The steak bites were delicious. Cooked to perfection. The pizza was okay. Could’ve been a bit more flavorful. The bacon pieces could’ve been more crispy to give it more texture and flavor. The Gouda cheese on the board was my favorite, then the Brie. The cherry jam was a great addition. I would go again. Low key, calm atmosphere with great and attentive customer service.
Such a nice cozy spot for a date night or hanging out with friends. The wine and cheese selection is nice and the pizza was really good. We also got to take advantage of their happy hour from 5-7pm. The service was is why I couldn’t give it 5 stars we waited 2 hours for our pizza but luckily we had some apps to hold us over. The waiter never really checked on us or made eye contact. I would love to go back because it’s a cute vibe but the service needs to improve.
Nice place with very pleasant staff. Appetizers were great - we had burrata, tuna tartare and cheese plate. Main course was a burger- I expected a bit more, but it was ok. Happy hour drinks were great as well.
