The owner, bartenders, patrons are very nice people. It's a local pub but they treat new comers like family..Great drink specials..good music on jukebox and a pool table. I recommend this establishment.

This has been my "Cheers" for years. Great friendly crowd, no rowdy douchebags or obnoxious twenty two year olds. Karaoke on Fridays is fun and the occasional comedy show in the back room isn't half bad! Great inexpensive drinks and good times. Cash only.

Joe, the primary evening bartender, is a cool, funny, laid-back dude. The lass that works most days is a gem as well, although her name escapes my memory just now. John,the proprietor, is friendly and generous, serving free meals to all on certain holidays. There is a quaint little smoker's patio out back, fenced in on two sides by a tall gap-free picket fence, painted brick color to match the other two sides. There is bench seating for approximately 15 guests. A large sign is posted that reminds the patrons that marijuana is not yet legal and implores the patrons to refrain from indulging in the most diplomatic language possible. The bar is mostly populated by a rotating cast of gregarious regulars (mostly denizens of Astoria, both native and transplanted) and casual camaraderie comes at just the cost of a friendly word and a smile. There is an event space adjacent that is available for booking parties, a touchtunes juke box, a horsehair dartboard and a 7 foot coin-operated pool table that is free on Tuesdays. There is a broad selection of beer and liquor at reasonable prices. And it's like five feet from the Broadway N/W station.

A great bar that has been a mainstay in Astoria for years. Go there with friends and enjoy reasonably priced drinks in a great atmosphere while you watch the game, play some pool, or listen to some music. A great staff and owner will take very good care of you!

We decided to have some beers. but when you enter on Friday night; We entered and there was a security Philipine...0 points inside the place. smoking, drinking and letting in bad condition blinds... I mean drunk... we decided to go in... the drunk bartender... served us... a skinny guy named Kevin... bad treatment with an aggressive and impatient attitude. In conclusion, one of the worst nights. We returned the following week by majority decision, there was a certain Benito. That's what it was called, the night was different... ... but the smell of cigarettes and marijuana in that place is unbearable... so think about coming in even if you want a shot before going home. I'm not going back to that place. So they have a pool table... but the truth is... 1 of 5...
