UPDATE: updating my review as I’ve been here twice now since and both times service was great, and was very happy with the quality. This is a great spot! Pros: Affordable (especially drink prices), fish quality was decent Cons: Was disappointed with the service. We felt rushed and our server was not friendly at all. The tables are very close together and you can hear everything the other tables are saying. Was a bit awkward.

Today is a very sad day for me, so I ordered my favorite food—Japanese cuisine. I had never ordered from this place before, and I chose the Paradise Roll, which was fantastic. It was beautifully presented, so much so that I felt a bit guilty about eating it—lol. The roll was super fresh and delicious; I loved it and it made my day brighter. One day, I definitely want to visit the restaurant in person. The delivery was impressive—I was really impressed!

This is a very good sushi spot in Astoria! It has a nice ambiance and still casual vibe. They have a wide assortment of sushi rolls and other items like sashimi and noodle soups. We tried the Gorilla Roll and Flaming Dragon Roll, as well as some gluten free options. It's very cool they have a separate gluten free menu! We also ordered some virgin drinks, a mango mojito and Pina colada. They were good, not great. The sushi was very flavorful and delicious. The pricing and service was very good.

Came here during lunch and it was amazing. We had the Salmon Carpaccio and Takoyaki as appetizers and it came out perfectly. Nice presentation and very delicious. We had the Teriyaki lunch specials and it was good and filling. The service was nice and quick as well. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Pink Nori is one of my go-to neighborhood fusion sushi spots. If you're looking for tasty rolls and even tastier cocktails, then swing on by! The service is also 👍👍 and the vibe is super relaxing. One of my favorite speciality rolls is the pink sexy lady. That roll alone is filling, but come on, get the scallion pancakes for the table. It won't hurt at all! 😁

The sushi pizza and salmon carpaccio, both new menu items for me, were quite satisfying, except for the slightly salty sauce. I highly recommend trying the sushi pizza. The other sushi was also excellent, and the staff was friendly. It's definitely a recommendation place in Astoria.

(4.6/5 stars) this spot is so good for sushi. I’ve tried a few different rolls and it’s been great every time. The service can be a bit friendlier and on point but over all still good. Last time we went they were pretty full and there was a table next to us where the rude difficult giving Karen woman refused to move to give us space. I had to speak up and she still seemed bothered and confused about the matter. The servers didn’t do anything to help with that situation so that was bothersome. Other than that - they have been pretty good!

Pretty good sushi restaurant. I've had better sushi but definitely this spot is worth trying. I really like homemade sauces that come with some of the special rolls. The Food was ordered to go and it was very nicely packaged.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. A lot of people ordering it for take out. We chose to sit at the bar, which was a bit regrettable due to the blender being right next to us. We started with the duck sliders and pepper edamame. Both were delicious! For the mains we got the spicy sushi combo and chirashi. Pretty decent but too much tempura flakes on top in my opinion.

Came here for dinner. I bought a pink nori roll, shrimp mango roll, Alaska roll, and a duck udon soup. The food was good. I thought the upon was a bit bland. But the sushi was good. The server was not very attentive. Overall a pretty average sushi experience.

Today was my first visit for dinner at Pink Nori. Staff greeted me and gave me a nice table to see the full room. My server, Ricky lacked English so I knew it was not going to be easy. He brought the soup, then came back with my main course which was totally not made to my liking. He took it back, second time it was the same. I never saw him again. I just had the avocado sushi, my salmon dish was never brought back to me! At this point, I asked for the owner who brought me my check. I had no discussion as I will never go back there.

I started with the peking duck sliders which is basically a bao bun along with the rock shrimp. Both items lacked flavour in my opinion, it wasn’t bad but I feel adding a bit more flavour to it would have done it for me. I went with very high expectations because of the reputation of the restaurant but my experience was average.

Please DO NOT eat here. My boyfriend and I frequent Pink Nori and ordered takeout yesterday (he ate and I did not). He became violently ill and after no relief had to go to the hospital. He has never been this ill in his entire life. Please spare yourself. Incredibly disappointed and angry with this establishment.

Don’t waste your money. Decided to order in after hearing good reviews. Only about a 10 minute drive away and my order took 90 mins to arrive after it said it would come in 45. Asked to speak with the manager who really couldn’t care less and told her how my hot appetizers were frozen to which she told me sushi is supposed to be cold. That’s great, but I wasn’t referring to the sushi. Never again
