Loved the newly renovated spot on Ditmars! Service was fast, no wait at 11:30am on a Saturday. We had unlimited coffee and our servers were quick to offer to refill our coffee/water. Enjoyed the french onion soup, lemon/chicken soup and shared the eggplant parmigiana panini. Suggestion for panini would to have marinara on the side for dipping!

We were greeted and we were seated. The food was great I ordered the ultimate tasty crepe. It was good definitely a must try. I also tried there smoothie it was definitely good. My boyfriend got a omlette and potatoes and greek turkey sausage and French toast. He loved it and I tasted it and definitely good. Overall definitely a great place to eat especially having a satisfying breakfast.

I've lived in the neighborhood for abt 10yrs, and I have to say that the diners in Astoria are *all* quite good, each in their own way. Tasty's has been consistently great. The service is attentive, and the hospitality is well above-average. I've dined in (and, worked in) award-winning restaurants that didn't do it as well as these fine folks. The coffee is *strong*, and I *highly* recommend the Sicilian Omelette.

The place is cozy and the service was efficient. Regular diner fare and the food was alright. Would recommend the Sicilian omelet. The place has a homely vibe to it. Will come back.

This is a good place to get some beers real comfort food. The owner George oversee everything, making sure the food comes out right. I had a burger and fries. Make no mistake, this is not gourmet food but it’s exactly as advertised with a fair price point. I’d like to come back and try their roasted chicken.

The food is alright. Pros: open late, big mozzarella sticks. Cons: cleanliness, slow service. The place needs a major renovation inside to feel less sticky and there’s so much junk behind the bar it doesn’t look very clean. Only good for food after drinking when you aren’t aware of how unsanitary it might be inside...

Food was okay, nothing special. Although my daughter loves the fluffy buttermilk pancakes. I ordered the corn hash beef and it came a bit burnt. Service was sub par, there were loud noises and exchange of arguments amongst one another. It was almost uncomfortable to enjoy our food with all the loud noises. I doubt we’ll be coming back, but best of luck to this place

The waffle was like extra crispy, definitely overcooked. Not a fluffy Belgian waffle. Not even close. The frittata was nothing even resembling an actual frittata, it was basically a messy omelet. Just thrown on the plate. No finesse or care as far as plating and presentation. Overall, the food was not so tasty.

First visit to this location and I was disappointed. My home fries were not crispy at all, still not bad, but I saw the table next to me had really crispy ones. So there is inconsistentency in the kitchen. Then, when I asked for the check, the waiter bought the card machine instead of giving me a paper copy to review. Later on I saw another table had their paper copy in the table. Didn't like that either.

Have been twice since the re-opening and both had not great service. The first time when I asked for honey mustard the waiter told me I was asking for too much and they’re busy. The second time I ordered sausage and realized at the end I never got it. When given the receipt we were still charged for the sausage and when I asked to have it removed I was told they couldn’t take it off because they already charged me for it but they could take off a coffee… odd? The food is good but the service just always comes with a side of awkwardness.

I was waiting to be seated by the door for 10 minutes and the waiter took a couple that was standing BEHIND me and sat them at a table. When I said something to the waiter he just stared at me and said nothing. I walked out. This isn’t how you serve people.

My food was absolutely terrible I ordered the Ruben sandwich and they put so much cheese on it I had to send it back when I got the sandwich back it literally looked like they just scraped the cheese off. The bread was so soggy and the meat tasted so bad. I definitely recommend NOT to come here

Leaving a review since the service was absurd. The first few times I came here it was actually amazing. But don’t let that fool you lol. They have smaller quantities and the waitresses and waiters are extremely disrespectful. They make mistakes on orders and don’t bother to apologize but laugh around the cash register. Probably will not return back here.

I went here last night our waitress gave us terrible service. She ignored us for most of the night. We had to literally chase her down for straws. The good was below average. It taste like ready made frozen food that I could have made way better. My stomach has been hurting ever since. I got a slice of chocolate cake from them and it was the nastiest thing I’ve ever tasted. Just don’t waste your money here. It’s convenient but it’s definitely not worth it. There’s other diners in the area. AGAIN DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
