Good pizza and nice selection. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Tamer is a rock star employee! I enjoyed the Italian ice too. Very smooth and refreshing on a hot summers day! Recommend this place if you're in the area (and even if you're not)!

One of the best places for pizza, amazing staff and great people. Owner is by far the nicest, all the food is so delicious never cold and always made fresh. Thank you all for working so hard. Would recommend this place!

Stopped in for a variety of slice with my grandchildren. The pizza is one of the best ive had and i lived in the boroughs for 65 yrs. I miss NY pizza it is a an under rated comfort food for some NY ers. Zio Pepe's pizzeria is classic NY. Family run with typical Italian attitude. I felt home again thank you!!!!

Affordable prices (other than slices, I think slices can be and should be a bit cheaper. Approximately $5-6 for a slice feels expensive however other items such as heros are affordable), fast service and delicious food.

I’ve walked in a few times, & ordered via the phone. They’re fast & efficient, pizza is very yummy. 😁

The food, service and atmosphere were incredible! The Chicken Vodka Parm on a Large Garlic Knot was a uniquely delicious menu addition to an already amazing pizzeria! They also happily made dietary/keto modifications to their menu items for my boyfriend who eats a strictly keto diet.

Used to be great now the pizza is mediocre. The price they charge is pure highway robbery. $8.60 for two cheese slices is ridiculous. Other pizzerias in the area charges $3 and change per slice. Used to prefer them for parties and events but likely not going to be the case from now on not sure.

The guy working Saturday evening had a terrible attitude. He was rude, unprofessional, and clearly bothered by having to do his job. He acted like customers were a nuisance. Honestly, his behavior ruined the whole experience. The pizza wasn’t even good enough to make up for it, bland and forgettable. Won’t be coming back.

The defensive and aggressive tone of one employee in particular was unsettling when we advised the order and bill was incorrect. He escalated it to the point it truly felt threatening.Hopefully, the owner will take this matter seriously. I connected with the owner today, Lenny (?) about Joseph (?)... I'm not surprised that he employs an individual who is aggressive as he was defensive. He said it's "hard work" etc - never an excuse for aggressive behavior. We were in the restaurant business so I am well aware of the dynamics. I was not looking for a free pie just a sincere apology and assurance that his employee would be spoken to. Considering there are tons of pizza establishments and his pie was mediocre, I would think twice about supporting a business that allows a man to threaten a lady.

I called in to speak to the manager today about an order that was not put in correctly and the guy working there on Saturday evening today said the manager was not available and told me if I had a problem I could do whatever I want. Clearly they simply don’t care about providing any kind of positive customer experience. It is too bad because they are so close to the house and I remember a girl who used to work there who was so friendly. It just goes to prove that hiring the wrong employees will destroy your business. Horrible experience and could not even be bothered to get Me access to the manager. Never ordering from them again and making sure none of my employees order from them again either

This was the best Pizzaria in Astoria. For 5 years our weekly go to for pizza delivery. The pizza was always doughie, but if you asked them to make it thin crust - it was a perfect NY pie. Unfortunately, the last 2 months, whether i placed directions in the app I use for ordering, or calling in an order (i called in to make sure they’d send it thin - still too thick) and didn't respect the request. Either their new pizza maker doesn’t care about the product or the owner has taken his eye off the ball. This was everyone’s go-to spot and unfortunately we need a new spot.
