The staff were so sweet. They asked if it was ok for us to wait 5 minutes for more tenders. They apologized several times. A young man walked our order out to the car. Great place
Food is good, service is fast & polite, facility is clean. Sign on the door asks people to wear a mask - if employees have to wear a mask, customers should wear a mask. Should be able to turn them away at the door.
We've eaten at Lubbock,Eastland Canton and Athens,hands down Athens was the best,as a matter of fact went back second time.the chicken was cooked perfectly,crispy but not dry ,the sides were fresh gravy excellant.we truly enjoyed our dining experience as a matter of fact we had to share each time with my sister and neice. before coming back to west Texas.
Extremely disappointed in the service Wed the 12th 2019.... the crew left me sitting at the ordering screen for quite a while ... then got very rude when I addressed it.... if this is the best you can do for employees I'll pass up you business from now on ... After due consideration and a very long conversation with the owner I'm pleased to say he was a very gracious gentleman with an eye for customer service.... I cant retract a bad experience ... however... you cant beat great customer service either... sir you took a very negative experience and turned it around ...
I thought I had a wrong order Until I found out they had only taken the order down wrong. The gentleman showed me where the mistake was made. Gave me a dinner a drink. Got me all taken care of great management thank you. We do like our liver and gizzards to.
Chicken was made fresh, good choice of sides and biscuits. Best part was the fact that if you don't want a drink on the combo, they will offer you an extra side.
Been wanting to try Chicken Express for some time but don't really eat out much and don't like gmo stuff and have found much of chicken served today in restaurants is not real chicken. Friends had given good review so I stopped in to try em. The drive in line was very slow but when finally arriving at the payout window I knew why. They actually treat you like you are a valued customer🤩. So sweet so genuine...they take the time to speak to you and make sure that you have what you want and with the most beautiful smile...Not this slam bam hurried pace stuff that leaves you feeling flat after paying. These guys feed ya REAL 🐔😂 too !. It's good but fried. Gravy? MmmMmmgood Rolls👍 yeah! Wasn't big on the biscuits though but my friend liked em really well. Even the fried skin was not very greasy which was a nice surprise. Overall very tasty and clean eating. Felt a bit tired and sleepy after eating it though. It's the most delicious chicken anywhere. .I've been to them all...anyone who wrote a bad review is full of crap and probably a crabby person who is never happy. .best chicken ever..I have been to their restaurants 50 times or more..never had a bad meal..their breading is divine. ..apple pies killer. ..good fries..I hear the fish is amazing too...go there and eat...NOW!!!
It’s has been 5 years since I last had Chicken Express due to living in Coos Bay Oregon. I must say the great taste of the chicken and fried okra has not changed👍👍 Did drive thru and was greeted by friendly staff and prompt service.
Our favorite chicken place in Athens! Tastes the best & the staff is always friendly. During our last drive thru visit they were extremely busy so part of our order was messed up. They fixed it, threw in a little extra, & apologized. Great place!

We stopped by at last minute..after lunch and just was impressed....food was hot and cooked fresh..it wasn't under heat lamp since yesterday!!.. the service was above average also..the employees were all kind and acted like they enjoyed their job!!.. told manager too..thanks for a decent fast food meal in a longggggg time!!
I came in a tired and weary traveler left renewed. I ordered the snack box and decided to try their new spicy tenders. The girl working the counter forgot to ring it in but she told the kitchen about the mistake. I got my order pretty quickly but when I opened the box, they looked like regular tenders. So I asked her if they were the spicy ones and they weren't. She apologized and her and the manager quickly replaced them. They said they couldn't take the original tenders back so they just let me keep them, along with the spicy tenders. OMG. The spicy tenders will change your life. Everyone at the restaurant was very friendly. Great customer service and the food was fresh and hot. Keep up the good work Chicken E!
Arrived at Chicken Express 8:00 p.m. 8:30, order was taken promptly, after 8:00 they cooked to order which I did not mind waiting. Ask for my rolls to be put in a box instead of the usual paper sack, and I got home with beautifully untouched rolls that didn't look like hockey pucks! LOL staff was super friendly and the chicken as always was absolutely delicious.
We chose this location to meet my kids for lunch. It's always very clean and the food is great and fresh. Our motorcycle ended up breaking down in their parking lot and spent 3 hours waiting for a ride back to Huntsville in their lobby. Management and staff were overly friendly and very accommodating. They felt like friends by the time we left. Highly recommend!!!

The most pleasant experience tonight! Shane was amazing! Very polite, read back the order as I was ordering and again twice when I went to pay! Not to mention he had a great smile!!
I went here my last day in TX. I needed to get some fried pickles. Best ones around. Also, love, love, love, love their ranch dipping sauce! I moved to Texas when I was 6 months pregnant, man oh man did I live off of those pickles. I sure do miss them. Friendly folks. Service takes a while especially if busy. Would be cool if they could work 2 lanes in the location.
Every time I come thru the drive thru the you g man in the drive thru is extremely courteous and helpful. In todays world you do not see that much! THIS ATHENS LOCATION IS BETTER THAN any location in Tyler. So, it's further for me to drive, but it is the only Chicken Express that has CONSISTENTLY high quality food, with excellent employees.
This is the friendliest and cleanest chicken express I have ever been to.
Over and over I have supported this Chicken Express and the one in Gun Barrel. Crystal is the best at the location in Athens and I understand having patience with all the new people. No one has had more patience until today. I ordered a Large sweet tea and the girl brings it put and takes my card. The girl brings my card back with the tea and says we are waiting on the Tenders .I said I only wanted a Large sweet tea. My receipt the total was charged $12 50. I said I only had a large sweet tea can you fix it please. I was still nice and the girl said it would take 3 days or more to go back on my account. I went to the window and a different girl gave me my card back with the receipt still showing $12.50. I told this other girl with a smart attitude all I had was a Large sweet tea. Crystal wasn't there and I said you don't need to give me attitude because you have no clue who I am and I am trying to be nice. She says it has been a really bad day and I said like I said you don't know who I am and I am not getting a attitude with you, it's my $11 that is being held then she just shuts the window on me. I know things happen and I am so patient and normally nice until some girl who has no business working the window with a attitude. I even asked where the girl was that took the drink to me she said she will say the same thing. That wasn't my question if I wanted to speak to the sweet girl that was trying to fix the problem then I should be able to speak with her. No clue what the girls name was but it doesn't matter because I will be blamed for this incident.
Staff are very nice! Food was good as usual. It's a bit pricey for chicken.
At the one in canton I always have to make sure they put fork or spoon in bag and make sure order is right not at Athens store and the sweet tea is always good
Good food ,big orders usually take awhile because they have to cook it. But it is hot when you get it home.

Really the Best Chicken Place in Athens, Tx. Only problem that I've had on 3 occasions was that the order was not filled as Per Request when I went thru the Drive Thru. And got home in Murchison, Tx. w/Items missing. But, the Emloyees, Apperances & People Skills have very much Improved. Would be nice to have clearer knowledge of Specials that are Offered Each Day. I Definitely recommend this Place! ♡♡♡
Better staff this time, but still not connected to their job. Food was massive servings, hot and fresh. Ordering communication is a little sketchy, and we ate in.
Ordered 4 piece. Luckily we checked shorted us by one. But they made that right. Gave us 4 small extra ones. Then we look and didn't get rolls. Or jalapeno ranch. On the other hand food was fresh and delicious
Quick chicken place (probably why it's express?). Food is always hot and made to order. No matter who I get at the window, they are always friendly. Fried pickles are a little oily, but the corn fritters are always good.
My family and I have very much enjoyed these chicken strips for years. Easy to call them the Best, when fresh, but lately they aren't always fresh...please correct this, 3 strikes and I won't come back. Keep it fresh and keep your customers.
Went thru the drive thru, ordered same order as usual. I always ask for them to put the coleslaw in a separate bag from the Chicken. No one likes hot coleslaw...I was there at 535pm. Orders and drive thru moved fast.. she was super courteous, and..Coleslaw was bagged separate as requested...That is only Second out of about ten times it happens.. receipt shows Empl.1. Reg 2. Thanks for training a caring person that listens and not just a robot... Order was # 168 .
Some days I get great help and you really don't mind spending the money, and on other days I receive a lot of attitude during my stay or on my order. I dislike going through the drive-through because my food is usually cold or really small and definitely not worth what we have to pay.
Always double check your order. Chicken Express offers fried chicken in standard pieces, as well as tenders. Sides are also standard for a fast food chicken restaurant. Both rolls and biscuits are available. There is nothing fancy here, but a good stop for a quick take-home dinner. Just check your order 😉
The food has always been good Problem now I saw only 1 employee with a mask on properly. Some didn’t even have a mask on. This day and time very scary

Chicken Express in Athens, Texas is an OK place to eat. I don't go here too often, but they do have some stuff that is tolerable. Their sweet tea and corn nuggets are about the only thing that is above mediocre. The chicken is greasy and the chicken strips have a strange breading. They are also almost flavorless. The sides are ok, but are often over-salted and sit too long under a heat lamp. The dining area is usually clean, but I have been when almost every table needed to be wiped down. I recommend stopping for tea and some corn nuggets if you're looking for a treat, but avoid the rest of the menu.
The girl who checked us out was nice and friendly but the manager that had to log the computer in was not friendly at all she didn’t even greet us or even put on a fake smile. Kind of sad when your printing out scripture on the receipts and the team is not godly at all or at least the management.
This review is based on customer satisfaction and service...not on food quality. Food has always been spot on on...even today! As I was about to place my order inside today, a young woman wearing a black shirt, perhaps a shift manager, rudely interrupted the cashier as I was placing my order. Not only did she not acknowledge her own rudeness but she interrupted again as I was trying to place my order for the 2nd time. Again, excessively oblivious to her own lack of courtesy and not once said anything for her abruptness & interruptions. On my 3rd attempt the cashier finally took in my order, he was nice & apologetic. This is on a Sunday...at some point someone turn up that "Country" music so loud it was unbearable, clients in dining room all agreed! I went & asked for it to be turned down, the gentleman in black shirt thst was behind countet was asking clients as they came in, "you think the music is too loud in here? I mean, it's Really...really rude to 2nd guess a complaining clients complaint in front of her. Music was finally turned down to a comfortable level. The staff prepping food & orders were also obnoxious and loud. Having meaningless loud conversations while working. As clients came in, no one...I mean no one, none of the staff said "Welcome to Chicken Express" or anything customer friendly & welcoming. The only personal & friendly one was my cashier, he walked to every table asking if we were in need of anything & if we were satisfied with our food. Owner & Managers teach that staff some manners!
Very friendly and accommodating. An employee came to the car and I paid and then my food was brought to my car with the change I ask for. I was helped so I wouldn't have to wait in line. Chicken was good but a little dry.
Hit or miss. Last time my fries were cold and soggy this time my chicken is chewy and dry like its been sitting under the heat lamp too long. When it's actually fresh it's great though.
The food is good most of the time, fresh and flavorful. You occasionally run into them not being busy so the food isn't as hot or fresh. I usually use the drive thru, as the dining room isn't as clean as I'd prefer. Their tea is the best around, which is what keeps me coming back almost daily.
Normally, the food is really good. This last trip, had to wait on our food a little longer than normal. My son did not get his sauce for his cheese sticks even after asking. And my chicken was well under par and very greasy. It looked good when I was ordering it but what came to me was definitely not what I saw sitting under the warmers. The chicken tenders my son got were great as usual. Maybe next time I'll know to ask for a replacement if I get greasy again. I'm just too nice and not picky.
The sweet tea is amazing and so sweet!! The rolls are sweet and fresh. The fries leave something to be desired. They’re always soggy and squished. The breading on the chicken is tasty and the chicken is juicy. It does take a long time in the drive thru, and it seems like I always have to wait for them to cook more chicken. (Palestine Location) Update: it would be awesome if the person taking orders in the drive-thru would actually let you talk before asking you what else you want!!
Don’t buy a gallon of tea here. Sitting in the drive through watching gallons of tea being made at 9:24 P.M for the next day. So you will not be getting fresh tea
Just ordered 4 Express tenders that was more like 4 nuggets. If i'm gonna spend this much for lunch and get so little I'll find another place to eat. Most Chicken Expresses either give you large tenders or extra tenders.
Waited 15 minutes for a two piece chicken meal. Okra was burnt to a crisp, too hot and hard to eat. Saving grace? The two glasses of unsweet tea I drank while waiting for my order.
I have never eaten at chicken express before. The staff here was ok. Not the best, but not unpleasant. We paid $29 for 3 #1's. When i was eatting i looked inside the chicken tender. The chicken looked over processed. It reminded me of the cheap little cans of chunked chicken. For the price, its kind of a rip off. I dont think i will be returning to any of the chicken express restraunts. Its just not worth it. I think we should have went to Applebees. It would have cost the same.
These people are slow getting orders out. The place WAS NOT BUSY, the drive thru had maybe 2 or 3 cars come thru the whole time I was there. They kept waiting on them and making the Door Dash order WAIT. The person filling the order kept hollering that she "hated door dash" I can't imagine how frustrated she gets or how she acts when they are actually busy. I won't eat there.
Good food....terrible management! I frequently get the wrong order at the drive through and you need to verify your order before driving away. Recently, I ordered two meals at a price if $14+ and got an order with receipt of $8.99 which was dark meat which we don't care for. When I called they were aware of the mistake and said they would refund my money. I spoke with the manager who took my name and number. After speaking with another manager in person, she said the "owner" would call me. Well (you got it) I never got the call. Bottom line I got ripped off.
None of the employees wear gloves or hair nets. In the time of me sitting there, I watched the cashier take cash then fill up the ice machine 4 times and use her filthy hands to scoop ice into the machine. Then you have a guy in the back dropping fries and using his hands to adjust them in the basket before dropping them in the fryer. I've not seen anyone wash their hands. Thankfully the only person I saw wearing gloves was the guy who breaded the chicken from the white bucket.
Very disappointing, tea is way too sweet; sweeter than Texas sweet. Chicken and mashed potatoes were dry, and my order was wrong. Okra was really good and employees were nice, but not worth the money.
At the exact same time that sonic changed their fries (which btw are absolutely amazing and my new favorite fast food fries), you guys also changed your fries from what USED to be my favorite fries, to these bland tasteless fries that are now effectively my LEAST favorite fast food fry. So disappointing. You guys used to have the best fries. Also I ordered an extra side of cheese sticks, and only got 2... I guess thanks Biden?
Poor service. Got the same order wrong twice. First they gave us livers instead of gizzards and they put the food I touched back in with the other food to serve to someone else. Then after the gizzards were cooked they gave me a roll instead of a biscuit. Food was still good, but service wasn't.
This place has gone down. Cold French fries. Waited 29 minutes for food. Asked for fresh fries but never got them. The roof was leaking in the dining room. Had to watch so you didn’t slip will never go again.
Order wasn’t only wrong when I received it from the window but it was also wrong after going inside to correct it—which they questioned me about. Staff was not friendly or helpful.
This place has roaches bad I have videos from employees cleaning behind the fridge and my God it was disgusting the employees that were there that night took several pictures and videos of them scattering someone needs to call the health department one fell in the gravy they scooped it out and then proceeded to just keep serving out of the same pan
This is the worst Chicken Express I have ever been to. The cashier was rude taking our order and checking us out, and that's before we got the food. The macaroni tasted like something was wrong with it. Like not just the bland cafeteria macaroni these places normally sell, but like something was wrong with it. Like it was made with tainted water or something. Our rolls tasted stale, like they were from the day before and just reheated. The potatoes and gravy were given to us partially open and leaking all over the inside of the bag. Complete disappointment. Do not go here if you want good food.
This is a terrible establishment, there is roaches in this establishment especially at night look in the bathrooms. The store is nasty, they don't wash their hands, and most of all they steal your hours and pay please contact texas department of labor and you will get your case started ive now seen 4 people go through this as I just hired them. I didn't believe the roach story until the other day when I went to the bathroom. The area supervisor was made aware of both and is a Co owner amd apparently doesn't care. Well I hope you hear from texas department of labor soon enjoy your fine. For people locally dont eat here roaches carry 1000s of diseases. As for people looking for work do not work here as again they will steal your hours and pay and never correct it.
Went through Chicken Express drive thru at 9:00 PM. They told us just a minute. After waiting about 4 minutes we drove to the window. 2 males and a female were just talking and playing. We realized why they forgot us at the drive thru. We just left and went somewhere else.
Chicken breast was tough. Told me to wait and they would bring out order to my car in 15 minutes. I waited 40 minutes and went inside to check. They forgot about me and didn't even tell me they were sorry. I'm not going back!!
The least you could do is provide recently cooked chicken in the drive thru instead of the pieces from this morning. It's chicken, it's not that complicated. Throw old chicken out. It's not rocket science. Wasted $17. Go to KFC I guess.....
Service took a little while but due to covid 19 it's unserstandable. But only saw one person wash his hands, while others kept same gloves on after wiping forehead an then touched food again. Mac n cheese taste like pure water.
Trash was falling out of trash can, ALL tables were dirty, customers had to sit at those nasty dirty tables, and cashier taking orders was rude. Left customer standing waiting on her so she could place her order while she gossips ei th another co-worker while putting pies in the boxes.
Poor service had to wait over 30 minutes for my food. Now I see why she had me pay before I made it to the window. Will not be going back until there are some changes made. It's crazy to wait that long when the restaurant is not busy!!!!!
I was just there 30minutes ago I have been trying to call before they didn't give me everything I ordered. I live almost 10miles away and when I order food I expect it to all be there. This is the second time that this has happened.I am very disappointed and upset.
Drive thru takes about 20 minutes with 2-3 ppl in fromt. This has happened everytime i go. Maybe if the workers actually worked instead of standing arpund then things would be better. Was a good place 2 years ago.
Service was super slow, when I got to the window the lady took my card, gave me my food and when I asked for my drink she looked at me like I had lost my mind, then I get my drink, and park to eat.. guess what yup no fork, had to go back in for it, went to eat my roll and it was hard as a rock like it was 3 days old left out on the counter!! The fried corn was cold and tasted old. The chicken was very greasy and most the crust was missing. I waited 45 minutes for a family meal of stripes. While the employees walked around and acted like we weren't even there. Then when I say something they wanna get an attitude and throw a bunch of cold nasty food in a box and shove it across the counter. Absolutely the worst service and food..
Last night I had noticed a special they had on there sign, and decided to stop and pick up dinner. The chicken tenders were so hard we couldn't eat most of them. The fries were not cooked completely and asked for rolls and got biscuits. It was the worst food ever. If I didn't live 10 miles outside of town I would have taken it all back and gone someplace else. In the past they have messed up orders like hiven me gizzards instead of livers and biscuits instead of rolls numerous times. But nothing as bad as last night.
This is absolutely ridiculous!!! I ordered over the phone 30 minutes prior to showing up! My food should have been cold yet it took me another 30 effing minutes to get my food!! I then had to tell the person up front The only person up front that my food was in the back! I made a call ahead order because the management had requested I do that last time I was in... Yet what good did that do!?! I'm a small business owner and I do not leave post like this about other small town small businesses but this is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! 1 person on window 1 person on front 🤬 RIDICULOUS Owners must not read reviews!!! Why is your drive thru SO SLOW??? Parking lot not full, drive thru backed up and havent moved in 10 min!!!!! I have called before & talked to "manager". She was rude & basically told me if I didn't like it, go else where. AND the young lady in the Drive-Thru who doesn't talk, at least needs to smile We are trying to support our small town, small businesses but it's really hard in this situation!
Just ordered a number 4 combo . They didn't have the chicken I wanted so said it would be 15 minutes . I had ice cream in the car but just 15 min no big deal it would be ok . I ordered it at 5:15pm and she told me she would bring it out think the name wad Jerry C. Finally at 5:50 I had to find a mask and go inside after calling a few times to no answer . When I went inside I was informed it had been done but no one brought it out like they said . Not a happy customer .
Used to love going to this place. But for a while every time the drive thru takes 20 mins to receive food even if it is only 2 cars waiting. Last week I also dined in and decided I will not return due to the chicken tenders being hard and dry. Really sad because this was a great place to eat at one time.
The food is good the problem is with the staff not making sure your order is correct. Or not getting what you pay for.In my experience with that , the person that took the order should see that order is correct before handing it to customers. Thats like stealing when you don't get all of your order that you paid for. And if the Owner want's to contact me PLEASE DO.this was the first time 5 years earlier. I tried the same store again today 7 -25-21 and the very same thing happened again , we did not get our complete order that we paid for . it seems to be a usual happining with this place . well guess how much revenues that might add up to. If you do go there you better check you order . because all they are going to say is if you come back up here we will get that to you . not given the consideration to the fact you have to make another trip back to town to get what you paid for the first time.
Good food... Horrible service. Long wait. They made me wait for over 20 mins for 2 pieces of fish at the window while they steadily took out people's food behind new. Then when I called to complain, the guy I talked to claimed to be a manager and told me he would put my name on the board and that the next time the same meal would be on them. So that I go to get my food and the lady so conveniently couldn't find my name. That's fine. On the visit prior to the one above, I bought gallons of tea for an event, got there, and it was soured. I called they said just being then back and they would swap them out... I waited 30 mins while I watched everyone else get stuff and drive off... Finally they gave me my tea and I asked why everyone else was being taken care of before me and I was before them... He said he forgot about me. We have spent much money here... Especially on Sunday's. But I'm done. Your word is your bond. And they didn't keep theirs about my fish. That was the last straw.
Was served overcooked hot wings and expected to accept them. Manager refused to acknowledge me as a person. Another employee took food and refunded money after manage made me wait 20 minutes
Waited in line for over 20 min for 1 fish meal and livers! Got the order home and it was livers and a 30.00 order of chicken, which we did not pay for! My husband said teenagers were running all around in there. I'm sure the person that got my small fish order is not happy!! I know you will have teenagers working, but you Have to have an adult as well!!
I bought 8 pieces of chicken tenders and they didn't give me any sauce at all, I went back and asked for some honey Mustard and they charged 50 cents for one pack of honey mustard. Mind you they were out of every drink I asked for. The least they could have done was given me some honey mustard sauce for the inconvenience and the chicken tenders weren't even good.
Missing sides twice. The first time I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to drive back. The second time I called and they said they would write it down and give it to me next time. I went about a week later and was told I need my receipt. I told the manager we would not be back due to the bad service, she just said sorry to hear that!
Waited for our order no one was in there but me. My order was sat for the drive thru for several minutes then the young man apologized. Asked him if everything was there and he said yes sir. After driving home 20 minutes only to find out fries were missing. Called and talked to the manager and all she could say was we're training new people if you want to come back I'll get them for you. Really 20 minutes away. No other offer for later. Very rude manager. Not the first time but definitely the last. We won't be going back! And no owners must not read and doesn't care, we won't waste our time in there anymore!
We eat at Chicken Express with regularity. Normally it's good. The manager on duty today (who appears to be new) is rude and not customer friendly. The place was cold with the fans going full blast. When asked if she could turn the one over our table down she said she would but needed to get a ladder. She then proceeded to go about her business and made no attempt to remedy the request. Upon leaving I told her never mind which she responded with a flippant remark. Truth is - she had no intention of turning the fan down. We eat out seven days a week. Consumers have choices these days. Nasty employees can effect relationships causing customers to choose other establishments. We liked your old staff and would recommend a customer appreciation refresher course for this manager.
Told the lady at the drive thru NO GRAVY at all.She the repeats the order and says with gravy I then tell her no gravy at all please. I go to the window and I asked again make sure I did not get gravy,so she pulls the gravy out.I then ask for ketchup and she hands me my order.When I get back to work and open the box there is gravy on my potatoes and no ketchup,oh and the chicken strips were very little was not worth $10 for the meal.That is not the first time this has happened.
When I order 2 piece chicken breast, they didn't tell me it would take 20 to 30 minutes to get my order. They told me to move up and after 15 min. I went in. Management didn't apologize for not giving an option to purchase something else. They don't have any good customer service skills. I won't be back and I am a property manager and will tell everyone to go to Popeyes!!
I’m really going to miss coming here, it’s a shame they got rid of the biscuits instead of the rolls. I guess times are tough. Very friendly staff though!
Horrible experience with Chicken Express tonight, drive through worker was so annoyed we wanted extra rolls before paying horrible customer service, and food was absolutely cold to the touch when we opened the box, absolutely ridiculous and disappointing.
I order throught the drive through im only staying a about 2 minute up the road at hotel got here open bag everything was cold and i mean everything, dude at the drive thought acted like it was problem to add 2 rolls that i was paying for oh and not to mentuon is was after he messed my order up the first time
The lady I spoke with the other day was so rude. I overheard her complaining about being there, barking at her staff and then wants to catch an attitude when it’s my turn to order. I won’t be coming back, Crystal needs to be demoted to the fry cook because she clearly has a lot left to learn about management.
Waited 30 mins in drive through.. for a 7 piece and a 3 piece.. is ridiculous honestly. Gave some one else my food and didn’t even give me all of my 3 pieces
My grandma wanted Chicken express today after church. I tired to talk her into going somewhere else but her mind was set . I went into this location around 2 pm (inside) and placed my order. Someone else came in behind me 5 minutes later ( white) and placed the same order .I smiled at him thinking him and my grandma had the same idea for today. We both waited for our order to get ready and to my surprise his order came out first…… what I’m saying to myself so I got up and went to the counter to see what happened. The manager who was sitting at a table near by asked me if it was a problem and I responded with yes. I placed my order first but yet this other customer got the same order first when he ordered his after me. My grandma calls me by now to see what’s taking so long… I wanted to just allow them to keep there food and take my business somewhere else. I’m a traveling nurse so customer service is Big for me . I’m very disappointed in my Home town for this Customer service…..
Today I went to pick up lunch for coworkers. Arrived at location at 11:45 pm. Waited over minutes to order. Then when I get to window the Attendant was very rude with me when ask about the order. Took her till 12:08 to get my order to me. She was taking way to long to process orders and really needs to learn how to be nice to customers. This order was well over $30.
11/26/23: made an order at drive-thru. Missing two of the five items ordered. Went in and had to wait over 20 more minutes for 1 order of French fries and 6 biscuits. Finally got everything we paid for to get home and find out every biscuit was hard as a rock. I called the store and was told that they changed the biscuits and they are all very hard now. I can't be sure, because we're not going back, but I think the manager lied to me about the biscuits.
Went through the drive-through earlier tonight, I didn’t get the jalapeño ranch that I ordered. I didn’t realize that until I got home. Also the lid to the gravy came off and spilled gravy on my food because it wasn’t put on good. I went back and had it remade and got the ranch. I got home and discovered they only put one of my sides in there. I went there twice tonight and still didn’t get what I’ve paid for. I just ate what I got because I didn’t feel like going back a 3rd time. I felt like they were mad at me the second time because they gave me four tiny pieces of chicken that were half the length they usually are. I’m not exaggerating they were tiny. I get that it happens but all 4 strips were as long as the gravy container is wide
We started the call aprox 10 minutes away from our house and were put on hold for 20 minutes. We didnt even get a whisper of help all the way there, and when we walked in someone there apologize and saying they were in a rush. However, that is absolutely no reason for me to be on hold for 20 minutes! If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Because I didnt expect such a rude worker when we were walking out!
Went through the drive thru tonight and the lady was in a hurry to take my order and didn't have everything I asked for. I asked for ranch for my fried pickles when ordering but did not get it so I asked at the window. She was snappy and said they don't come with them so I mentioned I had tried to order them. She did give me a ranch but seemed to have a an attitude about it.
