Greece McDonald's are a bit different than orher restaurants and I am saying it offcourse with full positivity and gain. Its sometimes crowded, but it makes it really fun, You feel excitement and adventure on the Air, Cheeseburger taste so great , like nowhere else in the Earth, honestly, and coffee, Greeks makes so great coffees, especially in McDonald's, You can say with 100% sure certainty that every coffe is made for every individual customer, they really treat every customer special . Amazingly wonderful place. Highly Recommended.

This place is ALWAYS super busy. They have a Biscoff and Oreo McFlurry. They also have the Grimace shake but it’s sold out. Biscoff McFlurry = THE BEST!!! I’ve been to a lot of McDonald’s around the world. I would even go as far as to consider myself a bit of a nuggets aficionado. For a relatively small McDonald’s I have rarely seen service that fast and competent. I watched them take, prepare, and give out over 50 orders in the span of at max 10 mins. Well done.

Fast, easy self service kiosks at this well known burger eatery. Outdoor seating and indoor seating available. Noteworthy is the second floor indoor seating with a neat spiral staircase to the top. There is also a security guard at the front door.

Went there during weekend, man was it pack!. Seems like all teens in Athens were there for burgers and fries. They gave the wrong order-but I managed to recognize it sooner so, got the correct order in no time.

4am visit. Love this location. They always have security. Dining room is open 24 hours. Very clean bathrooms with key code access. There were perhaps 40 people there. All ordering is done by kiosk, but you can pay the receipt at the counter. Most patrons were Greek. I was 11 orders down on the screen, but the crew was fast. My two cheese burgers were perfect. I suggest stopping here at anytime, even at 4am….

Very crowded and busy. Hard to find a seat for eating in. Food was alright, staff was very friendly, the table we found was a bit dirty, and the floors had a sticky feel to them. All a result of the business of the restaurant I assume, as it seemed like the staff was doing all they could.

Very central maccies, service was quick and you didn’t have to interact with anyone which when your a tourist who can’t speak Greek is the dream.

It's a McDonald's so don't expect Michelin star food. Otherwise it's pretty decent (obviously much better quality of food than in the US), prices are okay, upper floor has actually pretty decent views of the Syntagma square. Staff slow, they take their time...

You can easily command with the automatic cash in. Some food is a bit different in Greece. So that’s interesting to try it, even in the McDonald’s. Price are pretty good. Service is very efficient. And the restaurant is quite clean.

This place is very crowded. I planned to try Mc Donald’s here, but it was too crowded and busy. I had to leave because I had no time. The place is in great location. This Mc Donald’s looks like other Mc Donald’s in the States with similar menu.

A typical McDonalds located in the centre of Athens, the Syntagma square. As you can expect, during high season it is almost always full of people. Even though it was crowded, the order was prepared in reasonable amount of time. The staff is polite. 4 stars!

Kind of "mid" food but what can you expect from a fast food restaurant, that is located in a very busy place. Orders come in quickly and usually there aren't many seats so check if there is available seating beforehand. Cleanliness is okayish but for the love of god, people(not referring to employees), you can also throw your trash on your own, if you check around you there is a designated trash can.

The food quality wasn't as I expected. The only good thing about the restaurant was that everything was cheap. I got 2 burgers,fries,2 sauces and a drink for less than 5 euro. I personally would recommend it only if someone is in a hurry and needs food asap

There are very few McDonald's branches in Athens, and this one is the most centrally located. It is always very crowded and it is clear that it cannot meet the needs. As in any restaurant, you order and wait a while (sometimes long) to be prepared. If you think McDonald's is a fast food restaurant chain, visit here and you will see that the chain is broken. Prices are quite high for a country like Greece. For the price of a large menu, you can sit somewhere and have a main course like kebab. If your desire is not only to eat McDonald's products and you take into account that your order will not come at fast food speed, this is a more accurate choice. In short, a branch that definitely fails to live up to what McDonald's promises. However, if you like McDonald's hamburgers like me and you don't mind slow delivery or the price, I can say that it's a nice branch. On average, I go every week. I have never eaten stale produce. My order has always been hot and delicious. I wish they could show the same success in package service, but unfortunately they are weak in that regard as well.

Fries tasted a but different from the American taste buds. It's like they deep fry the fries in olive oil which tasted different. Good thing they have English language available on their machine when you order food. There wasn't much of a service.

It's super packed and there's no space to wait for your order. The cold drinks were tiny and not cold enough, and they didn't give me enough ice. But the cheeseburger was fresh, at least.

When I got home with my takeout for the fam I realised that dessert, i.e. 4 mcpops, was missing from the bag. The store never answered my phone calls neither did McDonalds HQ... Very disappointed...

I ordered a strawberry milkshake, and it didn't taste strawberries at all. They also gave a paper straw that is useless for a thick shake.

McDonald's in Greece offers convenient fast food, but it's a shame when tourists opt for it over exploring the healthier and more culturally enriching local cuisine. While it's familiar, trying traditional Greek dishes would enhance your visit and support local businesses.

While it provides a standard Mac Donald's experience with familiar menu items, the portions are relatively small compared to other locations. Despite this, the food is always served hot, the staff is efficient and friendly also the restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the city making it a good spot for a quick bite! Also there is a security guard in the entrance making it feel more secure but if you go in the busy hours don't expect to find seating available unless you wait 10 minutes for someone to leave.

Good clean functional place, the Staff are really friendly and happy to help. The big Mac flavour is not as sweet as the sauce is tamed down. Unfortunately hidden by building works outside so it can be difficult to find this place. But surrounding by many local eateries.

Too crowded. All I like at this place is an ice-cream cone 🍦. Children, better have a Greek gyros instead. You will have proper meat, you will know what inside and what you eat plus you will not be hungry soon after Gyros 😉. Choose wisely.

This store has been the busiest McDonald's in years due to its location in the centre of the capital but somehow after the renovation they made it even more cramped and confined which ruins the atmosphere to the point where you can't be asked to go in and order anymore. Crowds of customers not even forming a line because of the sporadic self ordering machines feels like you're in a packed concert and not in a line waiting for the next person. Plus the smallest possible pick up counter makes it so you have to pass through all this sea of people to even get your order (if you don't get pushed aside and risking your tray to fall of your hands).

Its the double espresso. Price was 1.70. I asked and they confirmed. I think its even less than two spoonful. Now I am not sure how to react because I have having coffee everywhere, all other McDonald's and they fill the cup full.

This McDonald's is not using the screens that are available to announce the orders that are ready but instead shouts the numbers when they are ready. Very confusing because you can see your number disappearing on the screens above the counter.... They simply don't use the functionality that's available.

Had an overall bad experience. Ordered using the machines and the credit card reader wasn’t working so they told me to pay at the cashier. Then I waited in line there to pay and saw a few people cut in line who had the same issue. The staff was not regulating at all. When it got to my turn, they made me pay by cash even though I saw the people before me pay cash. Big Mac was very messy.

How much can you expect from McDonald's? You receive what you paid for. Cheap meals, very busy and crowded in this part of the town since it is right next to Syntagma square. It was hard to find free seat. Their WiFi was terrible.

I didn't get what I ordered ..there is an option to choose what ingredients you don't want ...I said no lettuce, there was lettuce and they forgot the onion..no ice,comes with ice. And if you go back to replace it they act like it's your fault.

It's a McDonald's. Very busy anytime we went by/stopped. You MUST order from a kiosk, can be challenging for the technically challenged. It was very loud, with lots of teenagers around. They weren't obnoxious, just loud. One of the burgers we ordered was cold.

3 different burgers and all 3 tasted like they've been sitting in the shelf for several hours. Not expecting much, but this was quite bad even for McD standards. Since the food is the main reason for a McDonalds visit (not service or ambient), it determines the overall rating. Location itself is very good directly across the parliament building.

Don’t like to leave negative reviews but I was waiting for my double cheese menu, 20 minutes to go. Potato was wet, I threw it out. I am visiting and it is the worst McDonald’s in the world. Update: next night they made it in 3 min, im happy, love you! Idk what was that night but it was awful. 😵‍💫

I do not recommend tourists and locals to visit this establishment. No one gives you guarantees and quality of these products. There are a million traditional and quality taverns in the area. Do not spoil your taste buds when you are in Greece!

Never gave us our sauces that we ordered and never gave us straws for our drinks.

We arrived at 6am with 2 kids, and the small kid fall a sleep while we were waiting for the food (more than 30 minutes). It was a crowdy with loud young adults. The employer came and said we have to wake up the kid, it is not allowed to sleep in the place. We will never come back here. It was very inpolite from them.

I am leaving a review mostly for the awfully laggy touch screens. At every single McDonalds location I have been to, the screen are unresponsive and laggy like crazy. Fix the damn things, you are a multi-billion company. A smartphone from 2010 lags less than the damn things! I have nothing to say about the food. It is only good to eat something after drinking at like 3-4am. Other than that it's a huge waste of money! Go have a souvlaki nearby. It would be cheaper, tastier and more filling

i waited for 40 minuted just to have some fries and ONE chicken burger that i ordered whit out onion even tho in the end i found out that my order wasn’t sent and it came with onion and no sauces. So the customer service was awful and terribly slow, never again I will accept to wait this long in a fast food😒😒😒

I can't believe how much this place changed for the worse since my last visit which was 3 years ago!! The ham was bland and they managed to make the food portions extra smaller !!! What gives ?? The staff didn't seem to really care even though I've pressed "deliver to my table" as an option I had to manually go and pickup my food , and there are no electric plugs in order to charge the phones !! Whyyy?? The only thing that was saving this place from 1 star review was the hygiene which had a lock up with your receipt which changes automatically with time and yet , the toilets were in a truly horrible condition..... Not a single person seemed to have cleaned them in a long long time I was extremely disgusted by the bathrooms and the overall experience.... I can't recommend this place avoid them.... The worst Mc Donald's experience I've ever had to deal with.....

I stayed in the line for almost 30 minutes and when I ordered the lady told me that she cannot make it happen!!! After 15 minutes of arguing and yelling at me in whatever language, i paid for 2 sandwiches and she gave me 1 pickle !!! Shameful and nasty behavior from the general manager, she refused to give me her name , it happened on may 28 th 2:45 pm , I will contact the customer service the minute I arrive to us , im still shaking ....

Visited today at 6:15 am. We were told that they were closed and would open in 10 mins. When I asked if the store was not open 24 hrs , was told by a person looked like a manager/supervisor that they were closed for cashing up. Returned after 15 mins and tried to order breakfast but was advised breakfast menu was served after 8:00 am. I don’t visit MacDonalds too often but I have had breakfast in the past around 7:00 am at different MacDonalds, not sure why this one was starting late the breakfast menu. We had plans and our bus was coming at 7:00 am, so ended up buying breakfast from next door cafe. Poor service.

The order showed as ready in the screen, but when we asked they told us we need to wait. When we complained, they mentioned they pressed the ready, but it's still in processs. We had to wait 20+ minutes mores until they called the number
