Melting Pot - Midtown Atlanta

The food was great, the service was top notch, atmosphere kinda was terrible because it was dark and hard to see the menu. We also had a hard time looking at the shrimp to tell if it was done because of the lighting, other than that we had a great time and the food was great. Also the ceaser salad is the best I’ve ever had. PSA I believe it had nuts in it for those allergic.

Sasha was absolutely amazing!! Our entire 4 course meal was delicious! Such great timing on literally everything and Sasha definitely made our experience one of a kind! She was so sweet and very involved in our amazing experience! 10/10! definitely recommending this place and we will be back!

Upon arriving at The Melting Pot - Midtown, I was initially put off by the valet, who was dressed in a T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes, all in black. However, he was very passive and patient as I figured out the payment method for the valet service. Once inside, we were greeted by a nice young lady. I informed her of our reservation, and after checking her roster, she promptly led us to our seat. She took our drink orders as our waiter was busy and assured us he would be with us shortly. Although we waited for over 10 minutes, I decided not to deduct stars because my wife was very excited, and the waiter, Rob, arrived just in time. Rob was informative, funny, engaging, and knowledgeable. He assisted us in choosing our meal, despite my initial confidence in knowing what I wanted. The meal was a four-course affair, which I didn’t initially anticipate to be so lengthy. The appetizer was a salad and the cheese fondue the starter, with three cheeses of our choice. The fondue was so delicious that it could make even a leather shoe taste good. Rob expertly mixed the perfect blend for the fondue. The salad and fondue were served together as the appetizer and starter. For the entrée, there were several meats so, I tried duck for the first time and discovered that I liked it. The small portions of meat are cooked in a broth, which was incredibly flavorful. The final course was the Flaming Turtle dessert. Rob recommended the dark chocolate with fudge to balance the sweetness, and it was perfect. We had a delightful conversation with the manager, who was absolutely lovely, and we felt so welcomed that we hugged it out with her as we left, feeling like we had made friends. Despite staying almost an hour past closing time, we were not rushed at all. The experience was unparalleled, and we will definitely return. Rob works on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so make sure to ask for him. I’m sure the rest of the staff is equally wonderful, but Rob made our night special. Overall, The Melting Pot - Midtown provided an unforgettable dining experience, and I highly recommend it.

We went to the Melting Pot recently just before going to the Fox Theatre to see a show and we were very impressed with the entire evening. I was not sure about the whole concept at first but once the four course meal began I was much more comfortable with the process. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely return soon.

We visited this location for a late Valentine's Day dinner. Neither of us had been to The Melting Pot in ages. We chose to get the Bigger Night Out meal. Overall, we had a fun and tasty experience. Our server was friendly and helpful. Surprisingly, one of my favorite food items was the Caesar salad. And, their house wine and garlic seasoning was very flavorful. It is a nice spot to celebrate a special occasion.

Came to celebrate my husbands and I wedding anniversary and this place did not disappoint. From the cheese fondue to the delicious desserts. Cooking our entree’s was quite an experience! Would definitely come back!

Loved it all. The staff is amazingly kind, friendly and on top of things!! First time, could not have been a better experience!! Took my Mother and we had so much fun. Even loved the music!! Make sure to get the rubbed pork.. outstanding. Thank you melting pot staff for making our vacation moment perfect.

Absolutely fantastic! Pricey, but worth it. They have a special romance option for the table, rose petals and a secluded booth. The service was top notch, and we left feeling full and completely satisfied. We had the four course option, with cheese, salad, entree, and dessert - there were several varieties to choose from for each. For a special event or fancy date night, this one is somewhere to consider!

We had an amazing experience thanks to Emmanuel and Ray. They explained the various courses and made some recommendations. Will definitely recommend checking out The Melting Pot for a different experience.

Finally a restaurant that did it right!!!! The cuts of meat were sublime. It was endless but trust you will be full with the 1st round. We got the mojo and it was so flavorful. The chocolate ying yang was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed myself immensely. It was worth the price and I'd definitely be back.

We went for a triple date for their Thursdate special and we had a wonderful time. It is a 4 course dinner for 2 and cost $55 per person. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Our server gave us great suggestions and was very informative. It was the first time for everyone in our party and our server patiently explained how the process would go. The four course were absolutely delicious. The Quattro Formaggio cheese was amazing. And the dark chocolate with the dippers were great too. We will definitely be back.

This was my first visit to the Melting Pot and I absolutely love this place! Our waiter served us in a cozy large booth and there was rose petals confetti all about our table along with candles. The food was so good, the fondue exceptional and the wine flights were perfect for each (4) course meal. At the end of our meal we had a champaign toast paired with a box of chocolate covered strawberries. All of the staff took Covid precautions and all wore their masks properly. I will definitely add this to one of my favorites!

We took our daughter and her friends to celebrate her 15th birthday and had a great time. There was so much food and the girls had fun with the different combinations they could make.

Our waiter was super sweet and funny! I have a dairy allergy and they took care of me and everything was delicious! The manager checked in on us and was super sweet! I also ordered a blackberry margarita and highly suggest for anyone who love a tangy sweet margarita!

Let me tell you!!! I haven't been to the melting pot for over 15 years. This Midtown location kills it on every level! First, the leadership led by their manager of 18years..thank you Mrs. King. From the get go, the bartenders were as accommodating as any of the highest pedigree bars in the Atlanta area. An O.G. to the game, Taylor crushed it with personality and stories to match! Our server was so kind, so personable, and even more important in a setting like the Melting Pot ...so engaging. Her name was Sasha...NO "C". 😆.She guided us on a tour of flavor and experience like no other! Atlanta team...you reinvigorated this O.G.'s culinary experience above and beyond and deserve all the credit these small words can offer! I hope to visit you again soon.

I can not say enough how wonderful our experience was this evening. We were a party of 8 and not one of us ever wanted or needed for a thing. Our server Alexia (I believe) did such an amazing job. Food was great! Every employee we encountered was pleasent and eager to help. It's so nice to get what we paid for and then some. Thank you Melting pot team

We brought our daughter here for her birthday. We had an amazing time and the food was excellent. Everything was perfect. Our server, Marvin, did a great job. He was very helpful and took really good care of us. We'll definitely come back again sometime.

This is always one of my favorite restaurants. There are multiple cooking styles to choose from. Yes you do have to cook your own food though. But they have upgraded with a site that helps you time each item. Don't be afraid to ask for substitutions.

I have never had a better server than Marvin. He truly went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special on her birthday. He was genuine, helpful, personable, and attentive. The food was great, my family made a memory that will last a lifetime. We will absolutely be back.

This is my second time coming to the Atlanta Melting Pot. The first time was for the full four course package and this time was for fruit and desert menu only. Both times it was an amazing experience. The food was good and the service was fast and very friendly. Our waiter Ibe was great! very professional and fun. I highly recommend this place.

I purchased the Fondue and a Show for MJ-the Musical. The meal was delicious and our server made sure we were taken care of to reach the show on time. We arrived early enough to get street parking so that saved us having to pay parking for the show, (you can get validated parking for 2 hours for the meal). MJ is a show you don't want to miss!

Had a fantastic New Years dinner at the melting pot! Robert was our server and he did a fantastic job. From explaining each course to just being a personable individual, he made our night excellent. We would definitely recommend the Melting Pot and Robert for any special occasion.

This was my first time at the Melting Pot, and it surpassed my expectations. Robert was our server and he provided not only incredible service, but also great food suggestions. He was friendly, inviting, and very helpful. Robert B, we’ll be back!

I visited this restaurant two decades ago and have always had fond memories. When planning a birthday trip to Atlanta, this place was on the list to visit. The service was good but could have been better. They seemed short staffed so that may have been the issue. My favorite part of the meal was the appetizer and the dessert. The main course was good but we chose a variety of proteins and veggies so it got confusing on the cook times on what was in the pot. I would visit this place just for the desert, which was incredible. All in all I greatly enjoyed this dinner, especially sharing it with my best friend😁

This is a nice place to dine basically you're boiling your own food in a pot of broth. The front desk attendant Zerry escorted the table. The server didn't engage much until the end although I did hear her converse with another party. This was my first visit I was expecting a warm welcome, friendly communication and smiles the only person I encountered that seem to have great customer service which is the main reason gave a 4 was on behalf of the guy Nathan his spirit and concern to ask how is going so far? Are you enjoying your experience? Can I get anything? The last time he walked by he said I glad that you came. We need more of this kind of vibe in the field dealing with customers. Kindness , great customer service and quality products will always keep customers growing and coming back!

It was a nice experience as before covid. From the cheeses to the chocolate, it was more than enough as usual. The one unfortunate part about my visit was that our server was also attending to a table of 20. So our courses were slightly delayed and our broth and chocolate were drying out. I gave it a 4 because the food was fresh, the drink was good and I got a chance to catch up with a good friend without being interrupted. Glass half full experience.

Food was delicious. It lasted longer than expected (4 hours) but we enjoyed it greatly! They’ve added so any new options since my last visit. It’s nice to see their commitment to growth and the gluten free allergy options are so impressive!

The ambiance is lovely, drinks and food were great. I just wish the portions were more for the price you’re paying. But other than that, from service to the food dishes everything was good. My favorite part was the dessert. We got the S’mores fondue and it was soooo good. I think it’s the best that they offer on their chocolate fondue menu.

My husband and I went here 2 weeks ago for our 1st time. The food was very delicious, but it took a while for our server to come to us when we got seated. Drinks took a long time to get to us. But other than that our server was good to us. Showed us what to do since we've never done it before.

We went to mid town Atlanta Melting pot for Valentine’s Day date night. We decided to share an entree but the waitress said you have to hit 2 entrees because it’s two people. I asked for manager an he stated the same. I told him it was $89-98 per person. It stated nothing about couples a pricing. After being pressured a back an forth he decided to let us purchase one entree to share. Ten minutes later a caucasion couple sat next to us an stated they wanted to share an entree. You guessed it right. They gave them what they ask for with out question. Not stating they being racist, I think the waiter they had was just understanding a judge the situation seeing it was valentines a rolled with it. Then the waitress messed up the order and still tried to charge for what she didn’t bring. Bad experience on one of the most romantic holiday of the year. Should have followed my first mind an went to Eddie V……. Won’t be going back…

Our waiter was great but we were overcharrged and told they couldn’t break the checks out for our party. With today’s technology it is not acceptable that you can’t break out a bill or accept more than two cards.. In the time it took us to determine we were overcharged, have that fixed and how to split our bill and pay the person who paid you could have done the same. You weren’t even busy. Do better for your customers convenience.

I’m not one to complain but for my first wedding anniversary we booked the ultimate romance package. When we got there the table wasn’t quite ready yet. We were told that they had to finish the flowers which was fine. We get to the table and on the way to the table we see trash all over the place from them making the flowers then the staff complained because they had 8 more bouquets to make. That’s not really our concern we were there for a relaxing night and that’s kind of their job. Throughout our whole experience we just heard the staff talking loudly and complaining about everything from the night and it ruined the experience. I have a gluten allergy and I told the waitress. She told me I needed to remind her before each course because she tends to forget. That was a huge concern for me because if I consume gluten I get very very ill. We did this experience in Buffalo, NY and it was a completely different experience. Definitely not worth the money in Atlanta.

I’m so disappointed in our experience. The waitress we had must’ve been new because she didn’t get our order right, kept serving me gluten and scallions despite my constant reminder to please not it’s an allergy, she didn’t validate the complimentary parking so it was $24 even though I asked her several times, and we only saw her when she brought our food. The spinach artichoke dip was spicy from the amount of garlic in it, the cook style tasted like we boiled our food in plain water. The restraint wasn’t busy at all either and it took over 2 hours. I’ve been waiting to go for years and then finally made it and the experience was incredibly disappointing. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. 10/10 do not recommend and will not return.

Worst experience by any location ive ever had.im hard pressed to ever tip less than 25%, did tonight.. been going to melting pots for YEARS, multiple states, 30-40 diffrent times a d this was hand down the worst service ive got(had better at a damn taco bell) so much wrong to even put buy im just saying i dont know if I'd ever go back to this one.. ill drive the extra hr and half away to Savannah or kennesaw at 2hrs... disgusted

I have been to the Melting Pot many times and many locations over the last 30 years. Today in downtown Atlanta was easily the worst service I have ever received in any location. By far! There were 3 of us and it took well over 3 hours for the meal. Many times there was a 15-20 minute span where we would not see our server. I'm normally a very generous tipper. Not today. Just inexcusable. And I won't be back.

My family and I have been frequent diners at the Melting Pot in Atlanta for many years. It is always the requested establishment for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, or simply a nice night out in the city. Melting Pot has always been a wonderful experience, but this past weekend that was not the case. The service and atmosphere were absolutely atrocious. We waited over half an hour before anyone came to the table to get our drink order, which I could understand if the restaurant were busy, but we were one of three parties in the entire place. We placed our drink order and the rest of our order at the same time. We waited another half hour for the cheese course to be served. We requested tortilla chips and more bread as we had a party of 5 and there wasn’t enough, we didn’t receive them until we were mostly done with the cheese. At this point we still had not received any drinks. When our server came to retrieve the pots from the cheese we asked about drinks, it was still about 15-20 minutes before we got them. I went to the restroom while waiting for the entree to arrive. The restroom was so disgusting that I completely lost my appetite. There were used condoms on the floor, feces on the wall and no toilet paper in either stall. I was completely grossed out. The rest of the meal was good for my family, the food was delicious as it always is, and they enjoyed the main course. Once we finished the entree, we waited nearly 45 minutes for our chocolate to come. Again, if the restaurant were busy I would be more understanding, but it was a ghost town Sunday night. My son excused himself to go to the restroom while we waited, he immediately returned and he too had lost his appetite. There were people having sex in the bathroom, LOUDLY. At this point we were beyond ready to leave, it was awful. Part of the joy of the Melting Pot is the experience, which is why I’ve never minded the $75 per person price tag that comes with the meal. This past weekend was one experience I wish I had not paid for and do not wish to have again. One would expect that for the price you could receive a glass of water, a courteous server, clean restrooms and a lack of public sex. Very very disappointed, we will certainly miss what this place used to be.
