Went to a coin show at the Cobb Center in Atlanta. My hotel was only two blocks away, next to the Braves stadium. A group of us found a delightful place to dine at the Chop House stadium gate - called "National Anthem". Their starting team includes Manager Crystal, who runs the place and makes everything perfect. Servers Zeta and Jessica, have smiles that light up the room. They are the perfect combination of courtesy and service. Up front is a well stocked bar with plenty of room for friends. A fine line-up of starters include original meatballs in a hot voodoo sauce which tastes great and many other flavorful choices. The program includes Soups, or Salads, or Sandwiches which come with garlic salted french fries or ranch house slaw. Their Steak Frites entrees are grilled from choice angus. Select filet, flat iron, and ribeye- all guaranteed to please. Also on the roster are Seafood plates, Fish & Chips, Shrimp Sizzle with Cheddar Cauliflower "Grits", Rigatoni Alla Vodka with chicken, shrimp, or meatballs, Pan-Roasted Chicken, and Bay of Fundy Salmon. Have a cup of coffee or tea with desserts such as Pineapple Upside-down Cake, Butterscotch Brulée or strawberry topped Chocolate Mousse Delux before heading home.
Beautiful new modern restaurant. Upscale but still low key. Located just inside the Omni hotel facing out towards the Battery green. Our waiter was funny, kind, and helpful. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was very good. Absolutely loved the Cali bam bam and the Simple Salad. Highly recommend those two items. The meatballs were good but could use a little more sauce, the deviled eggs were good, and the garlic fries were on point. I loved my ginger highball. The entire dining experience was enjoyable. This has moved up on my list to 2nd favorite place to eat inside the Battery. A little pricey but worth it.
Easily my favorite food at the battery. If you don’t get the truffle fries you are seriously missing out. I could eat those every day and they’re so filling. The drinks were great and the service was as well. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant even though there was a Braves game at the same time.
Hubby and I gave it a try since our targeted restaurant was closed. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Servers and bartenders were very accommodating. Food was excellent. I got the salmon w/couscous carbonara and my husband got the steak nachos. The butterscotch creme brulee was divine. We'll definitely be returning.
DC was an outstanding representative of the restaurant and hotel. DC was pleasant, enjoyed his work, and acted in a very professional manner. While we only had drinks at the bar, DC made us feel welcome and we will definitely go back to the National Anthem as a result of our interaction with DC.
My wife and I had a few drinks here over the weekend. The drinks were fantastic and service was great!
I ate the chicken sandwich and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were very delicious. I definitely would eat again.
Shalitha was a wonderful bartender and provided 5 star service.. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to all
This place is awesome! Dion and Shalitha are absolutely amazing! We came in after the game and I could not have asked for a better experience.
Nathan our server was phenomenal! Very personable and very attentive! Great vibe and food!!
Great place to grab dinner before a Braves game!
Great food and service!!
AWESOME!!!
Great design of the restaurant makes it a place worth visiting. Lots of windows with a view of the courtyard right outside of Truist Park. A spacious patio area that is well shaded and cool. Food is very fresh and smartly plated. Great place to go on a Sunday when the Braves are out of town, you'll have all the space you want and can leisurely go through your meal.
We ate there several times during our stay at The Omni. The staff was soo friendly. I always left with a smile on my face. The food was delicious too. The atmosphere inviting and cheerful.
We absolutely loved this place. Wow - the food was incredible, the ambiance was perfectly Braves-themed, and the service was fantastic. The location is immediately outside of Truist Park, and you have a perfect view of the Battery courtyard and all the activity going on out there. The burgers here are phenomenal and far better than a typical burger at other restaurants. The salmon was absolutely delicious was impressive flavor combinations. The bar mixed a lemonade that was fantastic. Stephanie was our server and she was one of the best ever - she gave very candid, straightforward guidance for how to navigate the menu and was extremely attentive to us throughout our stay. One of the best servers we can ever remember having at a restaurant! Needless to say, anytime we're at The Battery Atlanta we will be eating at National Anthem restaurant!
Pro: clean and new. Friendly service. Con: $5 "latte" is no different from Waffle House coffee Experience might vary depending on when you visit. I was here on Sunday for breakfast wheee there were a total of 7 different parties present. If you're here during a baseball game, the level of service might differ. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. When I expressed disappointment in my "latte", the waiter offered to fix it. I have to talk about that $5 "latte" because it was the biggest disappointment of my whole experience. The latte is no different than a Waffle House coffee. Starbucks latte is better. I've had some good lattes recently so this failure is especially sore. I confirmed with the waiter that this was indeed a latte and not a coffee with cream. He offered to remake it with double shots. I declined because I don't think it would really be any different. But he offered, so thanks. If you're here, just get the coffee. They're probably the same thing here anyways.
Food was pretty good, service could have been better! Overall good experience…..
Lauren was great. Breakfast was good, hot and served with a smile.
I was so excited to try this restaurant and was so sorely let down. The food is okay, not great; not awful. The pineapple upside down cake was horribly dry and bland. Our server was middle of the way and straight faced every interaction. One pro I have is the atmosphere was very nice, clean, and well designed.
The restaurant itself is very nice. One person in a previous review said, “it appears to have no management” and that’s absolutely correct. I did see one person who was suppose to be a manager walking around but as far as processes and orderly… it seemed to severely struggle. The place wasn’t busy at all on Father’s Day. Which was a shock until we got there and realized it was a bit of a mess. I had reservations for 11am and called because we were walking up and we’re going to be a few minutes late. I wanted to tell them we were on the way. The hostest didn’t care about my reservation but informed me we couldn’t be served until 11:30 no matter what because they were “transferring the kitchen” I was confused because I made the reservation on open door for 11. I asked why they allowed me to make a reservation at that time then and she’s like I’m not sure who took your reservation but you can’t get food until 11:30. “Ugh, ok, well I guess we will see you” I replied and she never even acknowledged being late or our reservation in general. Well, when we arrived the hostess sat us and the server was visibly flustered she put us at her table. She even approached the hostess about why she sat us in her section right in front of us while standing at our table. Never acknowledge us though. When she came by to give us 2 or the 3 waters we needed, I asked for a spritz (on the menu) the server snapped back “what is that” and then, when I showed her on the menu she just walked away. We decided that sitting in our section may be a little too much for the overwhelmed server so we went to ask the hostess if the high tops by the bar were serviced by the bartender or another server. They didn’t seem to know. When my husband asked if we could move there they just sort of shrugged at him and said “I guess” We then approached the bar and asked if they were the ones who could serve that section. The bartender seemed confused but helped and said yes she’d take care of us there. She was actually very pleasant and helpful. However, her counterpart behind the bar struggled, badly. We ordered an app for our 2 year old as soon as we sat in our new section. Then, after our drink order and a menu review we ordered our meals. Well, 30 minutes went by and we never got our app but our meals came. They said they were going to bring the app out but at that point we tried to request they don’t because we didn’t need it anymore. We were hoping the person who looked like a manger would come by but she never did. So, we asked a different bartender (our original had left to go eat) who told us she’d handle it and never did. We also ordered a drink from her twice and she literally just never made it. We’d order and walk back to our seat and she’d just keep it moving like we never approached. The manager never handled our mishap with food but the first bartender made sure we didn’t have to pay for it. All on all it could be a great place but they Omni needs to pony up some money on proper processes and management if they want it to be worth going there. I’ll say the food was pretty good but I wouldn’t go back… which is disappointing. I wanted to love it. Service just wasn’t worth the cost, at all. I need to reiterate that the place wasn’t busy at all when we were there. So, it wasn’t just a “too busy” thing. I even mentioned to my husband that it’s a good thing they weren’t busy it would be a total dumpster fire.
The food was not bad, but we really expected better food and service for a restaurant located in an upscale hotel like the Omni. There are much better food options in the Battery if you are staying at the Omni.
It’s a busy Saturday at the Park with 3 bartenders behind the bar. Only 6 patrons at the large bar. It took 15 minutes at least to order. The manager was back there part if the time too. Her giant black glasses did not help her see customers. Service is very slow and nonchalant. I guess they are user to having customers. That situation is bound to continue.
The food was, very honestly, not good. I got the traditional, with gluten free bread (which is nice that you get two full slices) and chicken apple sausage. Don’t get the chicken apple sausage. Photographed is also a pork sausage, which albeit better, isn’t saying much. The coffee was also not good, but coffee does the job. Secondly, the wait was really really long. Abnormally long. It took us 1 hour between getting seated and getting our food, which only disappointed. Personally won’t return, as the price coupled with the quality of the food was not a match for me. Our server was sweet, but goodness, the kitchen must not be stocked well or something because it was creeping!
Nice relaxed atmosphere. Appears to have zero management. Locals will visit 1x and never return. We’ll see how long it makes it.
Sure, it was a busy Saturday at Truist Park & the Battery. However, the restaurant itself was not that busy nor packed. We were treated like an annoyance when acknowledged, which was 15-20 minutes AFTER we set down and had to wave someone down. Food was good, atmosphere is nice and decor is great. Service is atrocious and treatment just the same.
Waited 10 minutes and no one came to greet us
Overcharged my credit card. Not sure what happened. Now have to dispute it.
The service was good. Andrew was my server. The first guy was by his self so I sat at the bar. He pond me of to Andrew. I'm glad he did. I waited 45 for devil eggs. The devil eggs had to much mayo in it. I ate one and sat it to the side. I ordered the steak and frites. The steak i ordered was a ribeye they sent the flat one. I sent the steaks back 4 × and still was still cold. It looks and tastes like the was microwave. I got the pineapple upside-down cake it was okay. But the crebule was the worst I've had in my life.
National Anthem, was extremely disappointing due to poor service from our server, K. She was very slow, spent more time talking with her coworkers than checking on us, and walked by our table multiple times without greeting us. We eventually had to go find her just to take our order. This level of service completely ruined what should have been a pleasant start to our morning, and we would have preferred to go to a different restaurant.
Had reservations for 6:45 pm on 12/14/24. After waiting in the lobby area with approximately 25 other people and 30 minutes, we saw NO hostess at all. Very disappointed and the majority of us scrambled to fine another restaurant. We ended up at Fox Brothers BBQ and the food and service was awesome.
Ordered a drink and asked to replace the gin for soda, but instead got served a drink with sprite without my knowledge, which has ingredients I am intolerant to. The server told us it was her first time working there. She was unattended, knew nothing about the menu, and nothing about serving. We asked for management and they hid in the kitchen. After a while two men approached with very sketchy vibes, began interrogating us, never introduced themselves, never apologized, treated us poorly , offered no refunds, nothing. Had to leave early because I started feeling sick from my drink. Be careful with this place!
