If you have ever been to Rome this is what type of pizza you will taste. I love their pizzas and the way you can either order a set menu one or build your own. None of this extra cost for another ingredient. The service fast, fun, helpful and an adventure if you wish to try something new as they will make it a half and half anyway you want. Also the same with salads. There is the small Mini, medium size Mod, and double crusted if you wish. Craft beer on tap. Give it a try and enjoy.

Great pizza! Here you can have as much topping as you want for one price. They have different kinds of cheese awesome sauces. Customer service was excellent and real fun place to go.

We made an order thru a delivery service, but when I reviewed it, we noticed that one item, a No name cake, had not been added. They are SO GOOD, that one of us would have been sorely disappointed. I called the store, and a young man offered to add a second cake to the order, FOR FREE! before the delivery driver picked it up! Wow. Thank you so much, and to the owners, you have trained your staff well!

I'm recommending this place not only for the food which was delicious ( though I was a little confused on how to order), but because of the customer service. They were patient with me and when I asked a specific ingredient question they went and got their master book to look up the info instead of giving me what they think was the answer and as someone who has allergies in the family I really appreciated this.

This was our first time going out since the covid lockdown started. Tuesdays we're always MOD pizza nights. We all work extremely long days, almost always outside and we have missed this place dearly. Dakota was a new face and excellent addition to the team. Thanks for making us feel at ease on our first night heading back into the world. We were feeling saucy, and y'all delivered.

Listen I ate here one early morning as soon as they opened when I was pulling an all nighter to get a cosplay done and it gave me the strength to keep going. Thanks to Mod Pizza I went to SacAnime as Sheik from Ocarina of Time and it was glorious. Anyway their pizza is delicious and pretty much my go to for local pizza and the prices are great for how customizable and tasty their pizza is. 10/10 would pull a cosplay all nighter with Mod Pizza to keep me going again

Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere, unlike my grandfathers cabbage farm growing up. Constantly getting in trouble for drinking dish soap and spilling his freshly harvested beans. Not allowed to wear jorts. Not allowed to frolic in the cabbage fields. That's why I ran as soon as I turned 15. To a better life. A life with my father who owned a crab boat. Spent the next 16 months of my life at sea. I learned lots on that boat, saw lots of things like water, and birds. I even saw a school of tuna once. That was the day my father told me "tuna is the crab of the sea" I still get emotional thinking about that day. Anyhoo if you're looking for an incredible pizza, with awesome employees, for a great price. Look no further! I didn't even see peanuts which I am highly allergic to! Not sure who Tristan is, but I chose him as one of the menu items I tried.

This was the first time trying MOD Pizza for something other than pepperoni pizza. We added artichokes and a bunch of veggies. They were out of bacon so we just picked a different meat. We also ordered their thick crust which was perfect. By far the best pizza we have ever had! The girls were attentive and polite. Great experience!

The pizza here is pretty good. Sure it’s a little bit expensive, but they don’t nickel and dime you for toppings. Which I really appreciate them for. They also have a great selection of toppings or for that matter great selection of pizza crusts too.

I went here when it first opened and I was not pleased with the quality of the pizza, and the crust was pretty burned. Recently, I decided to try it out again and I'm glad I did. I love how many options you have and the quality of pizza is great. They must have dialed in their oven cooks to get the pizza just right, because I haven't had a burned pizza since.

I love the concept that you can pick and choose what toppings as well as how many toppings you want and it's still the same price. The pricing is based on the size of the pizza not how many toppings. You would think since it's priced this way there has to be a catch. Wrong again. Get tasting pizza at an even better price! You can't go wrong with MOD PIZZA!!

I ordered pizza online and paid. When I got there, I was immediately offered a free drink because it was a hot day. My pizza took about 10 minutes past the time I said I would be there. Not a big deal to me. When I got my pizza, they gave me a coupon for a free pizza of my choice because I had to wait. The pizza was tasty from the dough to the toppings. Definitely going back.

The food was delicious and the associates are very kind and friendly. Today I came in to a super busy Mod and the line was very long. But not only did the line move fast but the associates were having fun and working hard and it made for a very light, friendly and fun place to be in! I don't know who the manager/store leader is here but be proud of your store you have a fantastic team.

Great experience getting custom MOD salads. The medium salad is a complete entree for an adult. I left totally stuffed and feeling super healthy. I recommend spinach + arugula as the salad base. They have for-here bowls too if you don’t want to trash any one-time use plastic. All the women who worked on our order were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this option for a gluten-free or vegan lunch.

You can build a pizza or order from the fairly short menu. The pizzas that are in the menu are good ones, and you can of course add or subtract. They make the pie quickly and the crust is excellent. Beer is served too. The people there are just top notch friendly.

This was my first time at Mod Pizza. Ordered a small (personal size) cheese pizza to go. A little bit different then what I'm used to, but not bad. The sauce was only OK, but the speed that they make and cook it more than makes up for it. I'd go back.

I like thin crust pizza. I love the fact that they charge by the size regardless of how many toppings! We brought our dogs, sat outside and they brought a bowl for water for them. Pizza was amazing.

Build your own pizza, what's not to like? Well, the crust is not exactly crusty or crispy, but some people may like crust that's a little flimsy. Other than that, the ingredients are fresh and seem high quality. The only other issue I had is the ingredients are so close together that the pizza makers frequently cross pollinate them. I had a piece of an anchovy on my pizza and not having requested anchovies, you can imagine my reaction. Not a big fan of the anchovy. Overall, my family and I like Mod in Auburn; we will be back.

Overall, great. Once in awhile a server doesn't add enough, so can be inconsistent. You usually just have to ask for more or less...love a custom made pizza. Fresh ingredients.

BLINDED BY THE SUN. We love Mod pizza, and we come as often as possible - the food is quick, yummy and reasonably priced. HOWEVER on our most recent visit, at 6:30 PM half of our group spent dinner squinting as there are no blinds in the windows to shield our eyes from the setting sun! With summer approaching we might have to wait til winter to go back to mod and not be blinded again :(

Great pizza. And I really like the build your own way of making your pizza. One of the biggest feature at MOD Pizza is the price, MOD are very, very reasonable. Unlike Domino's and Round Table, which are way too much and just so so pizzas.

I like places that make an effort to accommodate for different diets. If you are vegan the have you covered. MOD Pizza offers almond milk cheese and plenty of toppings, so you can build your own without compromise in taste.

Amazing pizza, the thick crust is my favorite. It almost has a sourdough taste to it. The only reason for 4 stars is that the toppings are very scarce. I ordered sausage on mine and there was probably 4 small pieces of sausage. This was my second time ordering pizza there and the first one was the same way.

Very customizable, accommodating and tasty. However, I order just a cheese pizza and lately it always ends up over done, burnt on the bottom and edges every time. Hopefully the staff will start paying more attention to how long a pizza is in the oven. Overall I recommend this place

I love the way you can make your own pizza creation! They do need to perfect the timing when cooking their cauliflower crust though, because it was burned around the edges. Delicious blueberry shake, excellent white sauce pizza, and you can even enjoy an adult beverage.

Friendly staff, pizza is quick and fresh. They have some regular favorites and you can design your own. If you design your own, dont overkill with toppings. It's a thin crust pizza so it won't cook as well. And they have the same toppings and you can design your own salad. They also have local beer on tap!

Good prices on local beer. Didn't try the food but my coworkers enjoy it so the locals recommend! One less star for the long wait time to order /be acknowledged by the staff working right in front of me. They were helping other customers but a "Hi, I'll be right with you" would have been nice. I love going to MOD when I have extra time for lunch. Even though the cook time is short, waiting in line plus waiting for the pie can take forever. Even online, the lead time is 20 minutes and I've gone multiple times where my pie took another 10-15 minutes beyond that estimate. It won't keep me from going back but don't pretend it's fast.

Great pizza, but seriously lacking on cleanliness. Considering a lawsuit with Mod pizza. They don't change gloves when handling meat with vegetables and they told me it wasn't restaurant policy. I'm referring to the Mod Pizza in San Jose on Coleman Ave. This in my opinion is extremely disrespectful and unhealthy.....

Overall the pizza tastes good nothing wrong there, the issue lies with the customer service it wasn’t rude but it was not professional, asking someone if they want they’re receipt should not take two minutes of back and forth talking with a customer saying they don’t want it. The pizza tasted good but the toppings were not proportioned the way they should have been, my dough was also not rolled out to the proper size the mod size should have been, I work at a pizza place that definitely has lower expectations than a mod pizza chain and would have expected more professionalisim for somthing that simple, the simple way to put it is I was there longer than I needed to be especially considering the fact I as a customer was trying to make my order quick considering they were 20 min from closing but the employee obviously did not take his time nor mine into consideration. Just make the pizza.

Go for good shakes and ok pizza but not in a hurry. There was a group of 4 in front of us, waiting to start building their pizzas, with a group of 2 paying before them. There were 3 employees behind the counter. We waited in line for about 10 minutes and I couldn't find the bottleneck in the process; the oven I assume. I think it took 4 minutes to get from Hello to paying for my order. So after nearly 15 minutes I got to sit down. Pizza was ready fairly quick. Shake was good! White sauce was bland.

I have had great service, in the past, but recent orders have been chinzy. Half-full salads. Skimpy toppings. And if you changed Ranch brands, you should change back. The ranch is not as good, as it used to be. If it's the same brand, they have lowered their standards, as well. Bummer. This place used to be a refreshing deal.

Normally I would give MOD a higher rating as I love their options and GF availability, but my past two visits at this location have just snowballed from bad to worse. This last time we ordered our pizzas online and drove to get them, about 20 minutes, and by the time we arrived our pizzas were not ready for pick up and we spent the next 20- 25 min waiting for our pizzas to be ready. With our hungry toddler with us- it just turned into a total disaster.

Tonight (6/13/2024) we had a less than pleasant experience while getting dinner... The pizza was delicious, as always but the service definitely leaves something to be desired. Admittedly, we did come in at 8:35pm which is nearing closing time, but we were met with a bad attitude and the employee acting obviously annoyed and slamming things around like a toddler throwing a tantrum. We were going to order our pizzas as take out anyway, but the blonde-haired employee told us in a rude tone “I’m just going to put these in boxes since we close in 10 minutes.” (Mind you, we came in at around 8:35). The 20 minutes we were in the restaurant, this same employee was slamming things around and being completely disrespectful to each customer that came in after us (making her displeasure known to all). While tonight’s visit won’t deter us from visiting MOD in the future, it was very disheartening to have been treated so poorly.

Took kids for a Halloween treat after trick-or-treating. Guess the trick was on me, as they only put toppings on half of my pizza. 🙁

I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing her by simply requesting additional toppings—an entirely reasonable request and part of her role. I remained polite and respectful at all times, yet was treated in a way that made me feel unwelcome in a business where I was spending my money. Had the situation been handled professionally, my experience may have been different. Unfortunately, due to this interaction, I will not be returning.

My mom got a salad here yesterday, and she got terrible food poisoning from it. It's the only food she ate yesterday besides breakfast, which we both had together. I'm not sick, so it was definitely something in her salad that gave her food poisoning. It was later in the day when she got her salad (around 5pm) so maybe they left ingredients out all day? Be careful going here. She still can't even get out of bed, and it takes a lot to make that woman stay in bed.

Very disappointed with service. My wife and I walked in today at 2:45 to an almost completely empty restaurant and found two workers standing around goofing off. As we approached the counter to order, one of the workers came over but instead of asking what we wanted to order, he informed us the he would be "Right with us". He then proceeded to start making three separate online orders. My wife and I looked at each other in disbelief. He was younger, so we gave him some grace and I looked over at whom seem to be the manager for assistance. At this time he started walking towards us with his hands full of freshly cleaned utensils that he was restocking the station with. He informed us that they would be "Right with us" as well. We patiently waited for him to finish restocking the station but once he completed he simply walked away back towards the cash register. At this point we had been awkwardly standing there ready to order for over 5 min (they wouldn't make eye contact with us and barely spoke to us) and the first Mod employee wasn't even finished making the first pizza yet. I don't mind waiting my turn, but those online orders didn't seem to be high priority when we first walked in on them goofing off, but as soon as we try to place an order we had to wait until they were finished making them first. Noticing that his coworker was busy making the three online orders I don't understand why the second Mod employee didn't offer to take our order and help out the situation? You have customers in your store standing right in front of you, and this is how they are treated by the Mod employees. At this point my wife and I let them know that we were leaving and it was not necessary for them to take our order. Fortunately there are a lot of other eating options in Auburn California and I don't think we will be frequenting this establishment in the future.

I was disappointed with the gal who assisted me and my family today. I understand it gets busy and loud at times but people need to understand without customers there is no job. This lady had a mask on, so not only was it loud but it’s hard to hear her. She was a bit rude and made a hand gesture as if I was taking long. I was trying to be respectful and make sure she heard my order correctly. How is anyone suppose to know while taking an order down and not making eye contact is the customer suppose to know when you’re ready for the following part of the order. If it wasn’t for my 3 year old, I would have left.

The large pizza is very small and not worth the money. Lots of grease and cross contamination. Also found a hair in it, got a refund.

The location allowed delivery semis to block cars in the parking lot. For me this cancels how good the food is. Good customer service is way more important to me than food. If I can't leave, then I'm essentially being held hostage. Not cool. Bad location.

When I entered the restaurant, I was not greeted or acknowledged, and the staff seemed unsure how to assist me despite there being no other customers present. The employee I interacted with spoke in a condescending manner and made me feel as though I was an inconvenience for simply placing an order and requesting standard toppings. I was respectful and polite throughout the interaction, yet the attitude I received was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Customer service is a key part of any business, and this experience fell well below expectations. As a result, I will not be returning.

I was disappointed with the gal who assisted me and my family today. I understand it gets busy and loud at times but people need to understand without customers there is no job. This lady had a mask on, so not only was it loud but it’s hard to hear her. She was a bit rude and made a hand gesture as if I was taking long. I was trying to be respectful and make sure she heard my order correctly. How is anyone suppose to know while taking an order down and not making eye contact is the customer suppose to know when you’re ready for the following part of the order. If it wasn’t for my 3 year old, I would have left.
