Great new rooftop restaurant in downtown auburn. This is located on top of the AC Hotel. Nice views with delicious food service was great

I went to Olivine, and it was an overall amazing experience! Everyone was very welcoming, and the food was 10/10. The hostess, Gicelle, was especially friendly and accommodating! I will definitely be going back.

From the moment we stepped off the elevator we were met with warm friendly staff. We were seated and the atmosphere was electric! Every dish we ate was amazing! We highly recommend Olivine!

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. The customer service is above average and the wait staff was very informative about the menu and the bartenders were magicians...the drinks were top tier! The atmosphere was great! It was cold outside but the fire pits made the rooftop comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

Jamie was hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve had anywhere. From the moment I sat down she made me feel welcome and taken care of. Drinks were always perfectly made, recommendations were spot-on, and the service was fast without ever feeling rushed. You can tell this restraunt genuinely cares about what they do and about the people they’re serving. The vibe they bring completely elevates the experience — I always look forward to coming back when they’re working. Highly recommend!

This place is so good! The ambiance, the service, the food!!!!! I showed up on graduation Saturday wearing a sweatshirt and cheetah pants. I hadn’t planned on being in Auburn or even going out to eat at Olivine but a friend made me go. I don’t recommend showing up looking like a scrub because you will be embarrassed. The vibe was elevated and everyone was dressed to match. Regardless, we were seated at a firepit outside which was perfect! Our server Cooper was attentive and knowledgeable of the entire menu, offering the most popular dishes and some of his favorites. We went with his recommendations of the tuna crudo and the squid ink pasta. I can’t explain how good these dishes were but they were so good and so fresh tasting. I could’ve gone for round two. I can’t wait to visit again soon and try more of the dishes. 10/10 recommend!

We had a holiday dinner social on Friday evening. The ambience and view are unparalleled. You can see the stadium and other beautiful downtown sites from the open-air section of the restaurant. Service was warm, friendly and prompt. Food was well-portioned and delicious. This is must-see to experience!!

Had such a great experience at Olivine in Auburn! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything came out perfectly. Our server, Sarina, really made the night. She was attentive, friendly, and checked in just the right amount without being overbearing. She gave great recommendations and made us feel very taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I drove 2.5 hours to eat at Olivine and it was worth every moment. Service, atmosphere, and food were all excellent. The filet with risotto couldn't have been better. Thank you for such a great experience.

Jamie and Mya were the best bartenders then I had Kiara as a server and honestly the service could not be better. They work hard and are so knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. If y’all come ask for them they made my experience a 10/10.

From the moment I walked in door I the staff was friendly and accommodating. I heard great things about the food and atmosphere so I wanted to check it out. They have a great wine selection and hand crafted cocktails. I have to say that my favorite menu item was the Burrata which they source from Italy. Looking forward to returning.

I haven’t experienced service this good at a restaurant in a very long time. We had a party of 12 and never wanted for anything. The food was excellent as well! Don’t miss the Rosemary Focaccia bread…unreal! Great experience, thank you so much for making my daughter’s graduation brunch so special! You are appreciated!

It's rare when it all comes together in such a beautiful way. All I can say is "Wow!" The place is really ritzy with a view of kitchen and Auburn skyline. Staff all seemed happy (how do they do that?!?!)..Great service and what a menu! Ciopino?!? Shashito peppers. Desserts all fabulous. No seed oils??! Are you kidding me?? Will be back. In fact, was trying to make reservations for 7! Bringing the whole family this time. Can't wait!

This is a beautiful restaurant! The food was delicious and every staff member that I encountered spoke to me and was so pleasant. The service was great. I highly recommend visiting this roof top restaurant when you are in this city. The view is wonderful!

The atmosphere is incredibly chic and the service is fantastic. Everything I tried was truly delicious! My only concern is that I have a dairy allergy, and the menu wasn’t very accommodating—there were only two dishes I could safely order. Other than that, the overall experience was wonderful.

Had a great time at Olivine. Atmosphere is very “big city” with beautiful views. Overall food was good but not great! We had a party of 10 so we shared some items. Beet Salad was excellent, focaccia bread was amazing, Margarita Pizza was good but needs more cheese & basil. Rigatoni, Filet & Tuna were excellent. Caesar Salad was disappointing. Hard to eat the way it’s served and dressing needed more flavor. Wine prices were reasonable but we all felt that prices for food were higher than they should be but we know we’re also paying for the view & atmosphere. We were surprised that there didn’t have any chicken on menu as we would have liked to add to pizza and salad. We will come back and try new items and sit outside. We will try deserts too!

I made a reservation 2 weeks out because they were booked solid, going for brunch; so my expectation was high for this new restaurant. I was sorely disappointed. After being seated, no one came to greet me with a menu or take a drink order for 10+ minutes until the host noticed me awkwardly waiting. I asked for a water with lemon and ordered their signature drink, shaken and dirty. Another 10 minutes went by and the host brought a glass of water - no lemon. Another 10 passed before my server returned to take my drink order (which was eventually served in a wine glass with 3 pitted small green olives on a skewer), and took my food order after going over some recommendations and answering questions from the brunch menu. About 15 minutes later the smoked mussels came out and were tasty with a delicious broth, but not all of the shells had popped open so it was a little difficult to eat. They were served with bread for dipping, but it was the equivalent to a piece of rectangular white toast and soggy - not a crusty toasted sourdough or focaccia. Before I was halfway into the appetizer, the server informed me chef had announced last call for the kitchen so if I wanted an entrée I needed to order it right away; and also asked if I wanted a second drink (mine was still half full). I ordered the pork cheek pizza, meh. The crust was very dense, unlike wood-fired which has a thin air pocket texture; and the yummy toppings were sparse and mostly in the center - leaving a 2 inch ring of thick plain bread around the exterior. The restaurant itself is clean, decorated beautifully with a nice view of downtown; and the DJ would have been a nice touch if he had not been playing techno music at Sunday brunch which caused an anxiety flareup. Recommendations: elevate garnishes, use correct stemware, improve attentiveness to customers, tone down volume and vibe of ambience... Those 4 things would have boosted the rating despite the food flaws.

Olivine is by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The restaurant was not busy, we waited over an hour on our food and the staff acted as if they were completely clueless. Our very simple requests couldn’t be met. We watched many people come and go as we waited on our order that had clearly been lost for some time. Our waitress came to our table and said “have your entrees not come out yet?” The table was clearly empty. Once we received our food, one dish came out cold, and the other two were average at best. After we finished our long awaited meal, they messed up our check which resulted in another 30 minute wait and more frustration as we watched the incompetent manager try to fix it with zero urgency. We eventually paid the full bill and finally escaped a dining nightmare. After talking to friends about Olivine it seems that many people have had similar experiences here. I believe their peak is a long wait for average food but it could get worse and if you eat here you will certainly regret it.

The worst place that I have ever seen. They are not caring your notes while doing the reservation. I do mentioned 10 times maybe to book a place near to view but they put us on a table right in-front of a building. Thanks a lot that ruining our day.

Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a hostess. We had reservations and politely asked if one additional person could be accommodated. This was presented as a major issue, yet other parties with reservations were allowed to add one person with no questions asked. When we asked for an update on our table, the hostess snapped at us. She was visibly talking about us to her coworkers and consistently avoided eye contact. There were multiple high-top tables available that simply needed to be cleaned, yet we continued waiting. After an hour, I asked again about our table and was met with the same snappy attitude. While I was in the restroom, the hostess spoke to my mother in such a rude manner that my mom had to say, “You do not talk to an adult like that.” Quality customer service is an expectation in this industry, and this experience was far below acceptable. If you’re in Auburn, I would recommend skipping Olivine. And to Olivine: please address the behavior of your host staff. First impressions matter.
