6th St post Thanksgiving was a delight! Quieter than usual, we were thrilled to find Parkside. Sat at the bar & it was perfect!! Their Happy Hour from 5-6 was AWESOME! Half off all drinks & 4 of their top selling appies was perfect! Nico was behind the bar: Friendly, professional & gave the perfect suggestion for my palate. My husband loved his Oysters & Lamb with the WA Hedges Cab & Still Rye from Austin & I ADORED my Austrian Buchegger Riesling with the Ceviche. Fresh, balanced & tasty... we'll definitely be back.

My wife and I found this place on our walk back from our hotel. We were greeted with amazing customer service and sat promptly at their bar, as requested. The service was some of the best I’ve had. They had a fantastic authentic gumbo special and the oysters were delicious. At the end, they let us sample their king cake! Jill was fanatic behind the bar. Everyone in the restaurant appeared to have been having just as much fun as well. Highly recommend and we plan on returning there to eat before our trip ends!

First and foremost if you are a Liverpool FC fan visiting Austin, you have to visit. It's a home away from home. The Austin LFC supporters club is based here. Ask for Steve, the president, he's a top man! The pub is situated in a nice district of the city. The pub garden is perfect. The service was top notch. The staff checked on us regularly for refills. The fish and chips (dinner menu serving) was delicious. All in all, one of the best pubs I've been to outside of England. Well done to all.

Great spot! We stopped by B.D. Riley’s Irish Pub and really enjoyed it. The burgers were juicy, and the fish and chips were crispy and delicious. Cozy Irish pub atmosphere and friendly vibe.

Went a couple of times, the burger was pretty good, but the brunch omelette was underwhelming, of course it's one of the few places to go watch some English Premier League football (soccer) matches, drinks are good and very reasonably priced, they are open very early if there is a game on. Everyone working there is very friendly.

Purely Authentic! Possibly my favourite pub outside of Ireland! I had the pleasure of meeting with John and Steve the owners of the bar on this trip. I got a full tour. But what blew my mind was that the WHOLE pub, decor and all, is from DUNDALK!! From the doors to the bar, the snugs to the windows, everything in the bar was made in Dundalk Ireland and shipped over! Owners that actually care about the little details! I’m so grateful for the time and stories they shared with me about the pub! You simply can’t go wrong for food here! From breakfast to dinner, any ingredient that can be Irish, is irish! Then the drink! The most important drink of all, a good Guinness and oh my god do they do it well! When you ask for a pint, you get a proper pint! And most importantly, it’s Consistent! I first was introduced to B.D.’s on last years trip and I remember driving up and hearing “Mo Salah! Mo Salah, running down the winnngg!!”. Little did I know I was about to walk into Austin’s Liverpool supporters club home base! It was closest you could get to being at Anfield with the atmosphere those guys created on match days! This trip we specifically caught an early game to see if the turn out would still be the same and I definitely underestimated the fan base the Reds have in Austin! That was magic! There is even a permanent tribute to DJ20 up on the walls inside! Besides the owners being gentlemen, the culture and that kind welcoming vibe is instilled into the staff too!

Very nice place: Great fish and chips, very fresh fish, expectacular French fries, a good potato soup, great sauce for the fish (tartar sauce). Pretty pricey but the, quality is very acceptable. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is great.

Lovely traditional pub like those found in Dublin, Limerick, Galway, and Cork. The wood paneling creates a warm atmosphere, and we loved having our choice of the extensive selection of beers and ales on tap. We didn’t have any food this time but will be back for that. Park in the garage and bring your ticket for validation.

First, this place was amazing. It's probably the best fish from fish and chips that I've had. The Poutine was enormous and incredible. I brought the fish and chips home. She had her reuben sandwich, and everything was incredible. Raven our waiter took care of us. And the place was fun as you can see from the pictures. This is in one of the sections of Mueller.

Fun pub bar located near the Muellar park, very cool area and great indoor/outdoor seating. My family was visiting from out of state and this was the perfect spot to satisfy our hunger. Soccer game was on so restaurant was bustling. We were sat at a table fairly quickly. Ordered the nachos huge portion piled high with all wonderful toppings. We also had the fish n chips they were very crunchy and the fish taste fresh. Hots wings were pretty good too with a side of blue cheese dressing n celery. My fav was the BLT! Thick pieces of bacon, thick slices of tomatoes, crunchy Texas toast and plenty of lettuce, yummy!! Our waitress Olivia was super friendly and provided great service. There is plenty of beer on tap to choose from.

I have tried their fish and chips (takeout) and it was 'average' for a London pub. Which is to say, it was amazing! And in Austin, wow. They serve cod, which is nice and flaky. I didn't ask for…

Awesome happy hour deals! Sun-Fri 5-6 PM 1/2 off cocktails, beer, wine glasses; 1/2 off select menu items (east coast oysters, beef tartare, ceviche, crab fritters, USDA prime bacon cheeseburger). Greta ambiance. Downtown street parking. We especially liked the cheeseburger, crab fritters, and beef tartare. Outside of the happy hour menu, I recommend the endive salad (so good with apples, nuts, and dressing) and caramel pear tart for dessert.

Tried Parkside for dinner on East 6th and it’s a good pick if you want something a little nicer but still relaxed. The raw bar is the move here—oysters were fresh and the mignonette options made it fun to mix things up. Cocktails were solid, and the dining room has that brick-and-wood downtown vibe that works for a date or catching up with friends.

No wait for us, there were two barstools available, otherwise it would have been about 25 minutes. The food was very good, the service from the bartender was good. I left no additional tip, due to the 20% service fee added to the bill. I hope that goes into the tip pool, if not, do better by your servers and customers. The prices are high enough, 20% service fee is defeating the purpose, if it is a tip...I would have left more than that, if not forced to pay it.

My best friend and I came here for dinner on Sunday night, very excited for shepherds pie and fish n chips! We caught them about 20 minutes before the kitchen closed. I ordered the fish n chips and my buddy ordered the shepherds pie. We also each got a beer as well. Honestly, the place itself is fantastic but both the service and food left a bit to be desired. We were a bit forgotten after we ordered and got our food, and the food itself was only mediocre. The cod was frozen not fresh, and the shepherds pie was a bit bland. I'm glad we tried it but I wouldn't be back.

The only Patriots bar in Austin! Great Guinness and great sandwiches. Awesome atmosphere especially on a Friday. I love bringing my dog here and they have water bowls for pets as well. Most of the staff is super friendly besides a couple of the servers and sometimes they do take a while to bring your drinks but that's only when they're extremely busy. I wish they stayed open later but besides that it’s one of my go to spots.

This place was referred to me by a friend. What a cool place to hang out and have a great meal. Looks like a soccer game was happening and outside people were really enjoying it and singing. Our server was amazing. Our food was really good as well. The only complaint was the fish and chips. The batter fell off the fish when I was cutting it. It was a little over fried on the chips and fish. The corn beef and cabbage was spot on. Next time I think I'll try the Sheppard pie. Also, if you park in the garage they have a QR code on the door for 4 hours free parking. Awesome. We loved it here and look forward to coming back. Highly recommend. A good place to chill and have a great time.

I understand that it is football season and that it is a bar but it became unbearable after about 7pm. Neighbors can't love it that much either.

Some of the food here was hit and miss. The macaroni lacked flavor. The squash and salmon were really fantastic. However, compared to other reviews and photos I saw. The portions for the entrees given to us were a lot smaller on Valentine’s Day for the same price. That was a let down. Also while everyone was nice, we were seated very closely to other people. All in all, based on my experience it seemed this business is more interested in turning tables and serving less portions for the same prices. Don’t think I’d return.

It was a great day to dine outside, and this place was packed when we came. We found a table outside (you have to seat yourself, and a server will come to you when you're noticed). The table we sat at was a little sticky, and the service was not great. Someone came by to ask what we wanted to drink relatively quickly, but it went downhill from there. My boyfriend asked for mayo and had to ask for it 4 or 5 times before actually getting it. When we were served our food, we were not given utensils and had to ask for it. I understand it was busy, but there are some service standards that are just common sense. I thought my boyfriend's food was pretty bland (he got fish and chips), and mine was decent but nothing to write home about (I got the shepherd's pie). It wasn't an awful experience, but definitely not great, especially with entrees being nearly $20.

Super disappointing Valentine’s experience. We chose Parkside because we recently rented the event space upstairs for our wedding, and were truly blown away. I’m not sure where the lines got blurred, but our recent dinner experience was everything but smooth. Our 6:30 reservation was not honored, we finally managed a table about 30 minutes after that. Once seated, it took about 20 minutes to get seen. Thankfully my husband managed to order me a drink from the bar. Once our server came around, we put in our complete order from the Valentine’s menu. We received our oysters about an hour after seating and nothing else. The server never came around again, no management came to speak to us, we never even had the opportunity to know what was going on. After voicing this to a person running food, she simply dismissed our concern and told us the restaurant would cover our oysters. No hospitality, resolution or explanation. Mind-blowing bummer.

Was told this was the best irish bar in Austin...I guess from someone who has never been to Kelly's or even Ireland. Service was just bad. Walked in to a medium sized crowd...tons of filthy tables everywhere. Waitstaff drops your food without utensils to eat it...and you have to ask them for utensils...like you have one job...bring me my food and a means to eat it...but service is dead everywhere this place included...and for the price...sorry but this is just unacceptable. Our reservation was at 730pm and we arrived at 710pm. Got seated fairly quickly then it took awhile for someone to take our drink order. Another 20 mins goes by and finally someone takes our order. Afterwards they tried 3 separate tikes to brings us other people orders. Our food arrives after the 2 couples seated after us already had their food. My wife's food came 10 minute before my steak. When my steak arrived almpst blue rare(ordered medium) I was done and ready to leave. Food arrived an hour after we first checked in. Other only table we could find last minute on Valentines Day was at a Saltgrass location and ended up have a great time there.

I got the lamb ribs and I didn’t like the sauce on top. It was too herb taste So if you don’t like intense herb flavor ask the sauce on the side. I ordered the salmon and it came with a green sauce and I didn’t like it either and the salmon didn’t even had salt or pepper it was plain . The worst part was to wait for our food 1 hour 30 min.

Overall it is a good place, but they claim to be a Patriots place and play hockey ouside during the Pats MNF pre-game. Tough to listen to loud hockey audio on a patio when we show up for Monday Night Football. Then it was Hockey audio while Monday Night Football was showing on all of the TVs
