This place has the most incredible pastrami that I have ever had in my entire life. The reuben sandwich is literally life-changing..... everyone that I have introduced the Reuben to has been immediately obsessed! There's so much meat on the sandwich that I can barely eat half of it I always get two meals out of one sandwich and it's so worth it they are priced so so reasonably especially considering the amount of meat you get. And it matters to some people the meat is halal but I'm just saying yo the pastrami SLAPS, come try it! The only complaint I have is that they close at 3:00 p.m. everyday

Good flavor and good service. Stumbled onto this place by chance and glad I did. A lot of flavors on the steak cheese sandwich. Lunch is reasonable priced and I'll try the bagels next time.

I’m updating my review to 5 stars. I’ve been ordering from here for lunch when I want a sub and they are the best in the area in my opinion. They use boars head meats and more importantly they know how to slice the meat thin for that perfect sandwich! My dad owned a deli so I have a high bar. If you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying sub on fresh bread, check this place out. I ordered a Brooklyn Club sub from here and I’m only giving 4 stars because the description said it comes with roasted red peppers and my sandwich didn’t include them. Other than that the sandwich was really good and the bread was so fresh. I’d order again but hope that what I get matches the description.

I’m a bagel snob from Long Island New York and this is the only bagel outside of there that I’ve found makes me feel like I’m transported back there. I got a sausage egg and cheese on an egg everything bagel and the cheese was so nice and gooey and the bagel thick and flavorful. Just so happy to have this locally. Beyond happy.

Exactly what you want from a local bagel shop. Delicious, flavorful and reasonably priced. The bagel was the exact right amount of dense and chewy and the eggs were delicious. The pastrami sandwich had a great crunchy rye bread with a flavorful, perfectly cooked pastrami. To help the staff out, order ahead of time with a call.

If you are a bagel lover, I would definitely stop in! With a massive lack of good bagel shops near me in Austin I was so excited to see this little gem pop up! The bagels were excellent! If you love lox I highly recommend it here! They had a huge variety on the menu and the quality is top notch!

First time trying this place. I got the blueberry bagel with cinnamon walnut cream cheese. $6 50 plus tax..almost went with plain at that price. But I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed! The bagel was nice and warm and not chewy as a store bought bagel would be.. and it was smothered in cream cheese. It was glorious. Service was okay. I experienced the Gen Z stare for the 1st time ever from the young lady who took my order. Employees were very quiet even when other customers tried to greet/bid them farewell... but overall clean place, smells nice, great bagel, okay service.

I have no idea how I ended up shopping bagel places last week but once I saw the photos and reviews for this place, I decided to give it a go this weekend. Breakfast sandwich I got was so good! Taylor Ham, egg and cheese on everything bagel. I love dense, chewy bagels and that's exactly what they had! I could only finish half! We will definitely go back.

Big City Bagels and Subs came highly recommended but didn’t meet my expectations. Sadly, I arrived right after something was burned so it smelled in the whole shop. The Philly didn’t have great flavor. The staff are friendly but I didn’t really like it.

I used to love this place when New York Mike was running it. I used to recommend their breakfast sandwiches to everyone. You could get a legitimate northeast breakfast sandwich here .Unfortunately he has left and the people running it now don't seem to want to maintain quality sandwiches . Below is my Taylor ham egg and cheese , with an upcharge for double meat. This is laughable at best . Sad to see this place drop off.

Second review for breakfast bagel. I asked for a lox bagel. I wanted 1 bagel and said I wanted the lox on a toasted everything bagel with scallion smear. Nothing strange there is a large sign showing a picture and saying you can choose both options. The pic shows capers there were none. I ordered. My receipt was over 18.00. I asked after seeing the screen - I wanted only 1 bagel there are 2 charges. Reply was yes only 1. She said The 6.50 is for the bagel. What??? Both were not fresh bagels they were hard as rocks. Toasted but hard are 2 different things. If you can't get the order correct even when asked 3 x that is not right perhaps a English speaking and understanding person should be taking orders. By the way my lox order was spread between the 2 bagels. Can't wait for Einstein to open by me!! No dining in. Owner very business like. I got the Italian which was ok. I believe the meats were high quality.
