Brazas Taco House

Super delicious taco place. I'm not normally one to call out specific menu items but I'd seen others mention the brisket taco and it's quite simply the most delicious taco I've ever eaten. Definitely go check out their tacos and get some queso while you're there.

I have become addicted to this place! The best tacos I have ever tasted and I lived in El Paso right on the border. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh, cooked to order. Service is amazingly fast and its always the one cute guy who's working the front restaurant part. If you are in the North Austin area during their opening hours, this place is worth the stop!!

Usually known for breakfast tacos (which are served all day, by the way), there are plenty of lunch options, including the Interstate Burrito. Delicious!

The 5 ⭐️ atmosphere is for how clean this place is. It’s hard to explain you just have to experience it. You know the food will always be fresh from the cleanliness of the entire restaurant. Service is good food comes out hot. They have your good Mexican beers cold. The Chorizo Barria taco is what I go for. And the taco specials of the day are just extra. $20 for 3 tacos and a cold Modelo.

I always order take-out here and it never disappoints. Tons of creative taco options including vegan and vegetarian options galore. Incredible migas taco (Koenig). I’ve also tried the chilaquiles taco (F-1) and potato bean+cheese (Red Light), which are so tasty, but that migas just has me in a chokehold. And the salsa verde is actually insane, I could drink it straight up. A must-try and an Austin essential.

100% better than Torchy’s and Fuego’s! Reasonable prices and a wide selection of breakfast tacos, beef, pork, chicken, fish and vegetarian tacos. Made fresh with quality ingredients! Homemade salsas! Best of all—their guacamole has no raw onions (am allergic)! Pure deliciousness! I will be back! They close early though. 7 am to 3 pm most days. Lots of indoor seating and some outdoor seating.

As a born and raised Austinite, it’s been tough seeing many of my favorite breakfast taco spots on Airport Blvd close down. Don’t even get me started on Fran’s or Dan’s. However, this tucked-away breakfast spot has truly surprised me with some of the most authentic flavors I’ve had in a while, all at a more than reasonable price. I noticed a lot of to-go orders while I was there, but they also have plenty of comfortable seating. The only improvements I’d suggest are adding more indoor lighting and making the menu easier to read—maybe with some pictures and better-organized categories.

These tacos we absolutely delicious. I knew they were going to be good before I even took my first bite because they smelled so good. The were a little pricey but very much worth it. The red light taco was spicy. I’m definitely going to try the other tacos!

The tacos are fantastic! I stopped by a 2nd time and decided to get the nachos. Don’t make the same mistake as me and eat a less than perfect chip off the the plate. Ended up with too many toppings for the final chips (not that I’m complaining by any means). Fill a chip from the get-go and enjoy! P.S. it’s been a while since I’ve had a nachos of this quality. Go get you some!

The dining room looks like it is still coming together. The kitchen though... The food came out in a timely manner, and it looked as good as it tasted. Stumbled upon this place on accident, and so glad I did.

Great breakfast taco. This was the beef and egg. The green tomatillo sauce was spot on. The iced tea was pretty good. I'll be back. I wish they would open earlier but you can't have everything you want.

These tacos are extremely good. Think of it as a torchy's but way better. The flavors on each taco really make your taste buds feel extremely happy. Please, try it out. It may look small but inside is pretty spacious. Also, there's a small café connected to it. Pretty good as well for the coffee lovers.

Wow, I love how much Brazas has stepped up to offer espresso, sandwiches, and burgers. I am sure of it that the rent on Brazas got raised and they had to decide to quit or go big. They went big and it’s super buzzy now in Highland. Going big is progressing wonderfully. Had a delicious pistachio latte today with great pastries, and as usual some of the best breakfast tacos in Austin. I also received incredibly warm service from everyone. The service and vibes here were incredible even the with huge group they were slammed with. Keep it up Brazas, and please update your website and menu soon so I can see you succeed even more! And your hours too :)

Back open after a long close! Super cheap tacos that aren't the best, but definitely still good. I think this would be my top option for a large order, but I have other favorites near by that I'd prefer to pay more for.

Read good things about BH and tried it today with family. Tacos were very disappointing. I ordered APD-Al Pastor but it did not have pineapples and was very dry. River shrimp taco also dry and tasteless. They should include wedges of lime w/ tacos. My family of 2 ordered beef or vegie tacos, which they said were also very dry. With all the great taco options in town, will not go back here!

River shrimp taco also dry and tasteless. They should include wedges of lime w/ tacos. My family of 2 ordered beef or vegie tacos, which they said were also very dry. With all the great taco options in town, will not go back here!
