This Dunkin’ on slaughter in south Austin is pure sunshine in coffee form. Every single person who works here is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to see you and that’s rare these days. From the moment I walk in (or pull up), I feel taken care of. My coffee is always remember-me perfect, exactly how I like it, and somehow with extra love in the cup. The staff is patient, warm, and truly hospitable not rushed, not robotic, just real humans being wonderful at their jobs. Special shout-out to Victoria she’s an absolute gem. Always smiling, always caring, and always making my day better. That said, every single employee here is incredible and deserves praise. This team is something special. It’s not just a place to grab caffeine, it’s a place that improves your morning. If this is your local Dunkin’, you’re lucky. Five stars, every time. ☕❤️
The drive thru was quick, and the drinks and donut tasted amazing. The lady at the window was nice and helpful. 👏
Just go ahead and do mobile ordering. I always do it and today when I showed up in the drive thru, there was no speakers/menu. You had to order at the window and pick up at the window. Luckily I had my mobile order and didn't have to worry about longer wait time
Love this Dunkin! This was my first time coming to this location and I do not regret it!! I placed a mobile order and it was all ready within a few minutes of placing it. The coffees were perfectly sweet and not watered down at all, and the food was delicious!! Absolutely coming back!!
I Love Dunkin, I stay on the run, if I chose the drive through or dine in, my experience is always top Tier. Devin has always greated me with her contagious smile and her willingness to give the best customer service. Thx Again for great food and coffee
I visited the drive through at DD on Slaughter and I received excellent service from Devin. I had never ordered coffee at DD so she helped me figure out the best flavor combination. I was very happy with her recommendation, but more importantly, I appreciate her positivity and great customer service
I forgot to post this this morning, I come in Almost every day, and Mary is here almost Every time I come in, She is always so nice and so welcoming, And I love the way that she treats my dog. This is our favorite location because of Mary.
Got in, got out quickly. Place was clean, staff was nice, donuts are fresh and the coffee is great. Everything yum!
I always stop at this Dunkin before starting my day. The staff has always been nice and gotten my order out quickly. Devin especially gets the job done and has helped me out when they are out of anything or in making sure my order is correct.
Only visit this place if the adorable red-haired boy is preparing your food. The girls here are incredibly friendly. However, there was an African American man who was quite rude and even used offensive language. The manager should have taken action against him. The coffee here tastes like dirt, but that’s Dunkin’ for you! It’s easy, convenient, and friendly.
Such an amazing open atmosphere, it's not the biggest but it's enough room that it's soooo comfy. Big thanks to lily, she is so patient and has such a beautiful smile. I felt bad that I took so long but she ensured me that it's fine and helped me and even double checked to make sure my food had no sausage in it. As a Muslim woman this makes me feel seen and heard. We all need a lily in our lives 🩷 beautiful store and amazing workers :)
Clean store, clean restrooms, friendly staff, what else do you need. I mean Dinkin is kind of the McDonalds of coffee shops, and this one delivers at the top of the game. In and out quick and they get your order right. The parking is a little tricky, and it's hard to find the store if you don't know where it is, but once you find it it's a good spot.
For me, this location works. I go about every other day to grab me an iced coffee. I always recognize a familiar voice and im pretty sure they know me by me order lol. Never had a bad experience and they are fast and friendly so I am never late to work. I appreciate staff for showing up each morning!
They got my order wrong and it was ordered thru DoorDash so I couldn’t go back to complain to them about it but it’s not rocket science making a coffee and a sandwich as ordered! Pictures are added! This location needs to do better! Still hungry too 😖
Frozen coffee was not frozen and lacked my flavor I wanted. My bagel was burnt and hard with cream cheese so thick it was not edible. The boy at the window had no customer service skills or manners. I will never visit this location again. Not only did I waste my money but was late to work for crappy food and service for it
I’m not sure what needs to change but this location continually falls short. There seems to be no ability to manage order/ticket volume. This morning the staff (6) were so drowned that they eventually just started asking every person waiting what their order was and remaking it, telling Doordash pickups they should probably cancel orders. When my coffee order came up the staff member half mumbled something, realized that wasn’t the order, then just said “..uh, regular…coffee”. There ended up being two of the same coffee made on the same ticket number with one voided (only one ordered). So on the other side of the business this is just one of a half dozen orders I watched that definitely ended up in a product cost loss for the business. The food order screen is after they had “caught up” and I watched all of the waiting customers who said they had Doordash or UberEats orders leave meaning this food is still being made and abandoned. The saving grace is that the food is grab and go/heat and eat so difficult to really make poorly.
I love Dunkin’ Donuts and was trying to decide if it was worth a 12-minute drive. I convinced myself it probably was. It wasn’t. First off, this drive thru doesn’t even have a screen, and there’s no sign telling you that until you’re already stuck in line with no way to back out. You literally have to pull all the way up to the window just to order and then sit there waiting. Then the caramel frappe I ordered was basically straight caramel. It felt like I just stuck a straw into a caramel bottle and started drinking it. I also got a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. The egg somehow tasted like tap water, I don’t even know how that’s possible, and both the croissant and bacon were burnt. Just awful. It’s wild how people barely go to Dunkin’ anymore, and when they do the food is this bad. No wonder. Never again.
Slowest drive thru ever. 20 mins in line (and the line wasn’t long to start with) before getting to the window the another 5 minutes at the window (2 coffee and a toasted bagel). Same window to order and pickup… They also got the order wrong and somehow the coffee tasted completely different (bad) than every other Dunkin. AVOID this location.
I went at 3pm through the drive through and asked for a doughnut. The staff said they don’t have any doughnuts (I parked and went inside to see what other items they had and they did have a ton of munchkins). The staff made a comment about me “not believing them” which they did kinda lie about not having doughnuts since they had munchkins.. If they close at 7pm this is definitely bad business practice. Also the drive through is broken and have to order at the window.
This location is the closest to my home, and my children enjoy the donuts, which is why I’m taking the time to write this review in hopes it helps improve operations at this store. Unfortunately, this location frequently runs out of supplies for the donuts being promoted or requested. Given the holiday season, I would expect additional inventory planning. On multiple visits, items advertised in the app were unavailable. The app does not update accurately, so you only find out once you arrive. This location is also currently operating without a drive-thru speaker system, requiring customers to place orders directly at the window. I do not understand how this results in an additional 15–20 minutes, especially since the speaker would normally be only a short distance from the window. This morning, I waited over 30 minutes in the drive-thru, and due to the layout, I was unable to exit once in line. After waiting that long, I was informed that the donuts I had ordered through the app were unavailable and had to select alternatives. When I expressed visible frustration, I was told, “I hope your day gets better,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional given the situation. This experience was unacceptable on multiple levels and will be my last visit to this location, and likely to Dunkin’ overall. I understand these stores are independently owned, so I hope this feedback is read and taken seriously to improve inventory management, drive-thru efficiency, and customer service.
The manager that was just on shift really needs extra training on customer service. Not sure if they got new staff as this experience was totally different from the kind staff that is normally there. When ordering we asked everything we wanted for our coffee which an item was not in the coffee in which we kindly asked if we can get the item added to the coffee and the manager not sure if her name was Fallon as that’s what’s stated on reciept got so annoyed as if she was the one that paid for the drink, took the drink and slammed the window. No acknowledgement, accountability or apology for the order going out in correctly. Came back to the window still looking annoyed, gave us our drink and slammed the window again. No signs or skill set of management was portrayed here. Won’t be coming back here for a while.
If I order with my delivery a croissant you neeed to give me a freakin croissant this is the 3rd time in a row you guys give me a regular untoasted bread instead of a croissant I ordered who wants uncooked bread with their sausage and eggs that doesn’t even freakin go together like it just gives carelessness do better Dunkin’ Donuts !!!!!!!!!
This Dunkin is the worst of all time. They neglect to give you half of your order, they never have basic glazed donuts??? and their coffee is made so poorly. I long for an east coast level Dunkin in this city. This location needs completely overhauled.
had a couple of okay coffees, nothing good but drinkable from this location. didn’t need this on the morning after the election. the guy handed me an iced coffee at first and i told him politely it was supposed to be a hot coffee instead… never had a regular hot coffee come w foam… and the foam was half the coffee. lmao this is what i get for not supporting local businesses.
