We enjoyed the winter menu with wine parings. Everything was excellent! We let them know when we made the reservation that one of us was gluten free. They made an almost identical meal with gf breads, crackers, crusts, ect., all just as beautiful and delicious as the gluten menu. I recommend Fabrik for special occasions as the attention and service is above amazing. With only 16 tables, and the chef making individual servings it's very special. The wine pairings were so fun with the server sharing about each one.
This is hands down one of the best vegan dining experiences I’ve had so far in Austin. Every dish in the 7-course menu was phenomenal from start to finish. Each course was meticulously curated, with flavors that exploded on the palate and flowed seamlessly from one to the next. The balance of flavors and textures, along with the creativity and precision, was spot on. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely thoughtful, making the entire evening feel effortless and special. This isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience and I’m so grateful to have a place like this in Austin. Fabrik is an absolute must for anyone who appreciates exceptional plant based food and hospitality.
Some of the most inventive food I have tried! Such unique and delicious dishes that everyone should try at least once. But what really made my dinner was how amazing the staff was. I had a bit of an upset stomach and couldn’t eat as much, but my waiter brought me tea, made me feel so comfortable and boxed up any dishes I needed. Best hospitality I have ever experienced anywhere. Great place! Can’t wait to eat here again! Truly a special place
Loved the autumn tasting menu . Everything was yum and meticulously prepared. The desserts triggered some really happy memories from childhood . As a vegetarian, I feel overcharged at high end restaurants cos I usually get carrots and hummus in the name of appetisers. Here everything was lovely and worth the $$$ The service was outstanding
The food is exquisite! I was on a road trip from California; finding this vegan oasis along the way was so comforting. Our table had a blast identifying the flavors with each bite. The presentation was thoughtful and the staff were very welcoming.
If I could give Fabrik 100 out of five stars, I would. This place is absolutely incredible from start to finish. My husband and I have gone for every season’s menu since we first tried it. Every course is a work of art and as you take a bite, you’ll find it’s a culinary experience worth savoring. On top of that, the service is impeccable. Mary makes you feel so welcome and well taken care of. I am a lifelong vegetarian so some may say plant-based fine dining is an easy sell for me, but I’ve taken countless meat-eating friends and every single one has been blown away. Also, it’s not a small portion tasting menu. My only complaint is that sometimes I leave TOO FULL. 😅 It is 100% worth the hype and booking months in advance. Absolutely amazing! It’s a 10/10 experience every single time and has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Austin (perhaps in the world?). I’m just waiting for them to get their Michelin star. Not kidding.
Fabrik is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Austin. The summer menu is absolutely incredible. Every dish bursts with fresh flavors and creative combinations that actually make you stop and say “wow.” The textures are on another level. You’ll get this amazing mix of crisp, creamy, and perfectly balanced bites in every course. It’s clear a lot of thought goes into every detail, from the ingredients to the plating (which is gorgeous, by the way). And it's shockingly filling. My only point for improvement would be to pair the dessert with a warm drink, but other than that, it was truly perfect. If you’re into seasonal, plant-based dining done at the highest level (or just want to treat yourself to something unique and delicious) Fabrik should be at the top of your list. Can’t wait to come back!
When we first arrived in Austin, one of the places we most wanted to experience was Fabrik, but alas, it requires the stars to align to get a table--and lucky for us, ours finally did, some 6 months after we pleaded to the cosmos to pull some strings for us. It was worth the wait! Our 7-course menu weaved us through a number of cuisines, each course an evolution from the one before, each imbibed with the precious familiar, elevated beyond expectation, yet intermingled with enlivening strokes of the experimental. It was inspiring to navigate the sumptuous flavors and presentation in search of that perfect bite that captured the creativity and intention at the root of this culinary symphony. The service hit the mark, enthusiastic and down-to-earth. The husband-wife team that make it all happen are a joy to witness--their love and devotion for each other and their craft is so very inspiring!
What a delightful experience! Tucked away in a cozy corner of Austin, this plant-based gem offered a truly enchanting evening. From the moment we stepped inside, the intimate atmosphere wrapped us in a sense of calm and understated elegance. But the food? Absolutely divine! Each dish was a vibrant celebration of fresh, seasonal ingredients, bursting with flavor and artfully presented. And the service was impeccable – attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. It's rare to find a place that so perfectly balances exquisite cuisine with such a welcoming environment. This is more than just a meal; it's an experience I can't wait to repeat.
We had a truly memorable dining experience. The savory courses were particularly outstanding, each dish offering a unique combination of flavors that were both creative and well-balanced. The two desserts were delightful—not overly sweet, but refined and interesting. Portion sizes were just right, leaving us satisfied without feeling too full. The atmosphere was simple and understated, with a minimalist design that created a calm and relaxed setting. Soft background music added to the comfort without being distracting. The service was excellent throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. One of the waitresses gave us great wine recommendations. What stood out was how warm and personal the experience felt. To top it off, we had the pleasure of speaking with the chef and owner at the end of the meal. They were incredibly friendly and genuinely happy to welcome international guests. This personal touch made the evening even more special.
I had the most wonderful time and I will be returning for the summer menu. The dishes were imaginative, fresh and flavorful, and made with love. Even the farms used to source their ingredients are listed on the menu. And I discovered my new favorite drink Töst. Mary was amazing, explaining everything and answering our questions patiently. The atmosphere is relaxing and quaint, with beautiful lighting. But the food.... and it was vegan!!! The very best I have tried in a long time.
I did not know the perfect dining experience existed. This was my second time at Fabrik with my girlfriend and they treated us both like family. The food is perfection. I don’t use that word lightly but every component of every bite is so well thought out. The menu will dish out surprise after surprise. I’ve only been vegan for a year but their 7 course menu rivals any other meal I’ve had, including non plant based! I had to mention the good but the real star of Fabrik is the team. From the second we walked in, they remembered our names, our favorite table, even my girlfriend’s service animal’s name. We had only been there once!! Mary is the star of the show. She makes us feel like long lost sisters. She is clearly as excited about the good as we are and wants every customer to have an incredible experience. I don’t think I will ever have another night as perfect as tonight at Fabrik. Will be back as much as possible. Thank you for the love letter to plant-based food that is Fabrik.
I did the Autumn tasting menu. It was amazing. It was one of the most creative vegan dining experiences that I have tried. I left feeling so satisfied. The place is small but the atmosphere is so upscale. The service is great. I will be back to try their menu when it changes.
Wonderfully intimate, Patrick also provided wonderful service especially when initially picking drinks, fun exposition of various vegetables and fruits! Reminder to ask about allergens on site, not just in the reservation notes
Amazing place for a date night. Place is very cozy and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Food was beyond amazing and I was so shocked that some of the dishes we had were completely vegan. We made a reservation for the spring menu on our way out, we will 100% be back again!

An absolutely stunning experience! Every single bite on their Spring 2025 menu was indescribably delicious. The teriyaki sauce on the rice congee sent me into another universe. The wine pairing was amazing and I got to try some really amazing new flavors I’ve never had before. Highly recommend! I’ll be back every season.
The evening was amazing. Every bite was delicious and there were so many flavors. We enjoyed the atmosphere also. Calm music, not too loud, and the lighting was perfect. Service was excellent and they even helped me leave a little early sunce I had another event to get to. Overall, I cannot find one thing I did not enjoy and my wife loved which is all I need. We will be back for a different menu.

Service is exceptional. Atmosphere is intimate. Summer menu was good, but the winter selections were so much better. Looking forward to trying the fall menu.
My wife and I went to Fabrik for our 18th anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier. Small, intimate setting, great and personable service and the food was outstanding! Thoughtful combinations, innovative dishes, with every course exceeding expectations. We lived our dinner and will definitely be back!
We had such a great time here. Honestly, I loved everything about this place. The food was amazing—every dish was full of flavor and felt thoughtfully made. You can tell a lot of care goes into what they serve. The whole experience felt calm and special without trying too hard. The service was friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. It’s not just about eating good food, it’s about enjoying the moment. If you love plant-based food, this place is absolutely worth visiting. I’d happily come back again.
The service at Fabrik is outstanding!!! My boyfriend and I were so excited to try Fabrik after securing a coveted reservation. Our server, Patrick was incredibly accommodating when my boyfriend opted to take most of his meal to go since he wasn’t feeling well. Patrick happily accommodated us and even brought out some kombucha for him to help ease his sickness. Normally, most fine dining places would sneer at the mere suggestion of taking a 7 course meal to go, but the chef and Patrick went out of their way to make the experience as comfortable as possible. The food was VERY filling. The portion sizes are quite deceptive, and I actually think Fabrik would benefit from making them slightly smaller - rare for me to say this. At the end, we were so so so full that it became a bit harder to enjoy the lovely food out in front of us. The plating and visuals were beautiful. The cauliflower was exceptional, the corn soup was fantastic, and the desserts were killer. Autumn is actually my least favorite flavor profile, but I still enjoyed the food a lot. I would suggest some minor tweaks such as reducing the thickness of the polenta cake, making the shishito cream a bit more flavorful, and dialing back the peanut butter-y flavor for the carrot and citrus (I think this is just my own personal preference though). I think the vision and comparability of all the dishes was exceptional. I understand the chatter around eligibility for a Michelin star. I would love to come back again for a different season. Thank you to Patrick, chef, and team for an incredible and caring evening. Fabrik won our hearts with its outstanding service and care. Side note: I’ve been a vegetarian for over 24 years now. My boyfriend is not vegetarian and still felt very full after his meal. It is VERY hard to find restaurants that don’t just try to create fake meat products. As a vegetarian, I really cannot stand fake meat and am so appreciative of the chef and team enhancing the flavor of the vegetables and supporting them with bread and other filling foods. It makes me so happy to see that there are more dining options for folks w dietary restrictions. I’m very grateful for the owners for curating this gorgeous location and supporting those who have allergies / restrictions and welcoming those who are curious to try it even if not vegetarian.

Every single dish at Fabrik was better than the one before. The flavors were bright, fresh, and full of creativity that made me stop and truly savor each bite. What I loved most is that these dishes don’t feel like a vegan version of something else. They stand completely on their own and are some of the most exciting plates I’ve had anywhere. The textures, colors, and plating were beautiful, and the whole meal felt thoughtful from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, and they made adjustments for allergies with genuine care. This is a brilliant restaurant and easily the best vegan dining I’ve ever had, but it deserves recognition as one of the best restaurants in Austin, period. Inspiring, delicious, and unforgettable. Highly recommended!
After indulging in a similar concept in Seattle in June, we were set on trying Fabrik. Reservations seemed overly complicated as the only book 6 weeks in advance but we were lucky as they decided to open Halloween and they reached out to us because we would be in town that day. They had give, or take 7 servings fixed menu. We arrived at 5:45 for a 6pm seating and was promptly seated. Our waitress was Harley and she was great. Had we not done the Seattle version this would have been phenomenal. Comparatively, the Seattle experience was a bit better. But having said that.. a couple of these dishes stood out. So IF you are Vegan wanting a cool dining experience in the $300 range for two with 2 glasses of wine, give it a try. Glad we did but probably won’t be back . Again, the staff was great! The waitress great.. atmosphere good.. but the fall menu was just ok. Some very good, some underwhelming. But overall a good experience
Compared to Gauthier Soho in London, this experience comes close but doesn’t quite reach the same level, though the prices are quite similar. The menu felt relatively safe in terms of pushing the boundaries of vegan cuisine. That said, the flavors were remarkable, and each dish was beautifully presented.
