The food was pretty good! I got the pozole soup and a seasonal chai which was really comforting. The staff is really nice. The atmosphere could be cozier but overall I will be back to this place because of their variety of coffee and pastry options and attention to dietary restrictions (they list the ingredients in all of their pastries).

Nice laid back, casual feel to this place. Great mocha coffee and blueberry muffin. Quick service and friendly staff. Plenty of free parking! I’ll be back!

Came here to co-work with my cousin. The vibe is so artistic and cozy, the decor is so welcoming, and the drinks are much worth it and more delicious than most coffees I have downtown. The menu is also very creative. Yet, my favorite thing is that this coffeehouse use actual glasses and mugs to serve drinks ~ Highly endorsing this place and I’ll come back!

Genuine joes has a lot of character.. this is a very popular place but there are a lot of little nooks in this coffee house so you can still find a place to sit down. They serve coffee in mugs that are all different…the barista drew a picture of a frog in my sons matcha … if you have been traveling in Hilton hotels and going to Starbucks where everything is the same you will find that this place is a refreshing change!

This was such a great quiet place to do work. I like that they have 2 rooms, one that’s a little louder and one that is quieter. The staff were friendly and patient and the latte was good. My only complaint is that I wish the tables were just slightly bigger.

Wonderful place to hang out for a bit! Plenty of seating in a few different rooms, awesome selection of coffees, teas, and flavors, and quirky, homey decor. I got the Grandma's House latte (blueberry in coffee is absolutely incredible) and my partner got the Dark and Thorny, and we split a slice of pumpkin bread. The lattes are strong and not overly sweetened, a perfect balance of flavor, and the pumpkin bread is moist, dense, and spiced to perfection.

I fell in LOVE with this adorable and homey little coffee shop! From the moment you walk in, the aura is inviting and welcoming; it just feels like a place where you can spend the whole day at. The staff was absolutely amazing and incredibly nice! To top it all off, their drinks and their pastries are delicious. Love the unique flavor combinations! Definitely a must visit when in the area or even Austin, in general!

Cozy and quiet atmosphere which i like it. Coffee was really good and good price! Also love that they are using reusable cups if you are staying in the coffee shop! (Think about the environment ♻️ )

Really cool spot to get work done. They also have a couple of couches and a bunch of outlets if you need to charge your devices. Prices for food and drinks are also reasonable. The workers are really nice as well. I love looking at all the art on the wall when I need a break from my work. The only downside is I’m not particularly fond of their bathrooms.

I absolutely love it here! The ambience is so cozy and it feels like you’re chilling at home. And the frog mug is so cute!!! Also the pumpkin muffin is a 10/10 fr. The workers are also super nice! Even the patio outside is super cozy when it’s nice outside

Good coffee and great atmosphere! Lots of cute mismatched furniture and decor, feels like a nice cozy neighborhood shop to stop and get a bit of work done or meet friends. Decent amount of inside space and also a nice outdoor seating area!

Perfect neighborhood coffee house. Excellent coffee and the friendliest service. Love the quirky decor- particularly the dinosaurs everywhere. Great indoor and outdoor areas and convenient plug locations. I come and get a latte and breakfast taco here at least once a week.

Cute, campy little spot that has more of a South Austin vibe. Comfortable with good energy from the moment you get past the neighbors tow warnings. It’s a day care and I can only imagine the chaos for 2 in/out businesses at peak times. Lots of parking in back though. Coffee was very good as was breakfast burrito. I got the black bean and potato that would’ve been perfect if the beans had been mashed a bit. They sort of tumbled out with each bite in their whole form. Red salsa tasted fresh and had some kick! Nice assortment of pastries and the usual drinks. I wish it had been busier in a “want them to stay in business” way however it was nice to get in and out. A couple of cool notes at the enhancement station. Half and half had a piece of tape with 8am in it which made me feel like it hadn’t been sitting there for hours. Also liked that they don’t offer stir sticks but real spoons. Several other folks scattered through comfortable hangout couches and small tables. Recommend checking it out for a meet up, coffee date or even just a good cup of genuine joe!

Come here, grab the cinnamon roll, and ask for well done. The server accidentally overcooked, but it was a blessing in disguise. They even have a printer for any of your print needs. It's a rare amenity to see but a good selling point to have for their loyal customer base. Nice area near other local hot spots. We came here after hitting up Hop Doddys across the road.

Big fan of this coffeeshop! It’s a really cosy neighborhood spot with both indoor and outdoor seating and a decent amount of parking! I only gave it 4 stars because a good amount of the seating indoors is on stools and I personally don’t find those comfortable but there’s other seating options like desks and couches. This place can get a little busy during the day so definitely leave the grind time for early in the morning, later in the day or choose another spot. They’re drinks are also really really creative I got a strawberry and rose matcha that was absolutely divine!

I came upon this coffee shop and bakery upon a routine excursion of mine. Always willing to sample local delicacies, I entered the shop with great haste. There is nothing to be faulted in the atmosphere of the building, it's cozy, there are big windows that provide very aesthetic lighting at times. The service also lent itself to a very personable experience. The owner (I presume) and staff are incredibly friendly, and I felt no hesitation in asking questions or requesting alterations. They felt as if they embodied that specific brand of Austinite quirkiness that its slogan suggests. I ordered one of the Valentine's Day themed drinks - a White Chocolate Rose Mocha on ice, and a carrot cake cupcake. While the drink took quite a long time to be made considering the small number of people in the cafe, I was served the cupcake immediately. This is where I ran into some issues. The frosting of the cupcake was incredibly dense, which is absolutely to its credit, it speaks to a high quality of ingredients in cream cheese frosting, and normally, I'd relish the textures of such a well made frosting. However, the flavor in of itself was incredibly lacking, carrot cake all but requires the tang of cream cheese frosting to balance out the oddness of the spice, and I detected no hint of that anywhere in the frosting. The cake itself also lent itself over to a much wetter texture than what would be optimal for a carrot cake. The cake stuck to my fingers when touched, speaking to a gluelike consistency in my mouth. The flavor of the cake itself was also incredibly lacking, featuring NONE of the spice and flavor that is required. It's as if I was eating poorly made zucchini bread with large, unseemly chunks of carrot shoved into it for aesthetic purposes. As for the latte, I also experienced similar flavor issues. The substance was there - the espresso was full bodied and flavorful. It was clear that the owner had been making lattes for a very long time, as the ratio of milk, espresso, and syrup was just right. However, it was significantly lacking in flavor. Perhaps it lies with the fault in the drink itself: trying to balance too many flavors without the addition of layering through foams, but the drink itself registered in the mouth as vaguely sweet. There was no identifiable flavor at all. However, I will say that despite that, the drink itself was still pleasureable, as the key components of an ice latte were made skillfully. In short, I am of the firm opinion that this shop needs to seriously focus on its flavors.
