So good. We got the 28 in pizza and it was delicious . 6 of us ate and didn't even finish the pizza. We were traveling but if we go back that way we will probably stop again.
I ordered pizza online for pickup, and it was amazing! Their house ranch is delicious too. I had to wait an extra 5 minutes for the pizza to be ready, but it was totally worth it. The box for their giant pizza barely fits out the door!
As a born and raised New Yorker, stumbling upon this gem was sheer luck. Whenever I'm traveling to or from the ATX, this is a must-stop spot for me. Despite not being in Austin, it's the only restaurant that satisfies my craving with its giant NYC-style pizza. Trust me, if you pay a visit, you won't leave disappointed!
Our family's favorite pizza! The crust is the perfect balance of crispy and soft. We love the large slices and huge pies that last us several days. Staff is so friendly and helpful, too!
These guys deserve so many reviews. First off, the staff is always just amazing. Doesn’t matter who is there. Second, they make the best pizza consistently. I’d say better than Home Slice. Third, get the ranch!
I've come to realize that the best food joints often have the smallest store fronts, and that's certainly the case with Jersey Giant Pizza. Tight dining aside, JGP (J-Jeep) has the best New York style pizza west of Austin. If you're looking for some tomato and cheese on a loaf of bread this ain't your place. But if you're looking for that kind of pizza, that you roll up and eat like a taco, JGP will leave you questioning why you ever settled for Chicago or Detroit style. And unlike other pizzas, JGPs pies are actually just as good the next day, especially with a cup of your favorite Joe, after you get your lazy butt out of bed. Hey, you don't got to tell your doctor nothin! Indulge, enjoy, and for God's sake make it worth a calories.
You know how everyone's constantly trying to find the pizza from the Goofy Movie? The one that's gooey and cheesy and looks absolutely perfect? This is that pizza. It always hits, always slaps, and I absolutely love their food.
Needed to feed a crowd and Jersey Giant Pizza was perfect. Everyone loved the pizza, it was delicious! Ordering online was easy, the customer service was excellent and the order was ready on time. Just make sure you have a big car, the pizzas are huge!
Best authentic NJ / NY style pizza around! I’m from NYC and this place is completely authentic in every way from the pizza, subs, homemade ranch dressing dressing, extra fizz fountain drinks…the music and artwork and artifacts make this a real nostalgic trip back to days at the Jerz shore where you can pick up a hot, piping slice. I love it here! Bonus, music is always classic and they local kids which I love.
This place is legit. If you know pizza and you enjoy good by the slice establishments, this is the type of place you were looking for. There are not many pizza joints in the Austin area that understand how to make pizza this way but these guys actually understand. This is not fake wannabe large by the sliced pizza this is the real deal you’re looking for.
While driving to meet a customer, I happened to spot New Jersey Giant Pizza and thought, “No way… could there actually be real New York/New Jersey-style pizza in Texas?” I was skeptical but hopeful. Man, I’m glad I stopped. This is hands down the best pizza I’ve had since leaving Pennsylvania. The crust, sauce, and cheese were spot on—and you can taste how fresh everything is. No preservatives or other garbage, just quality ingredients done right. Big shout-out to Evan, who was super friendly and brought that Texas hospitality to the whole experience. You can tell he’s passionate about what they do, and it really shows. If you’ve been missing true Northeast-style pizza, this is the place!
Stopped in and bought a slice of pizza. Pizza is amazing, some of the best pizza in the area. Seth was friendly, helpful and got the food out to us quickly. The inside Is definitely utilitarian, but they make a best use of this space they have. There's some tables outside but the bulk of their business is takeaway. I definitely will be coming back at another day to get some more of the pizza.
Delicious high quality pizza I love it. Much better than Home Slice pizza. The only thing is I wish that their hours are a little bit longer till like maybe 10:00. There's a lot of people moving into the Spicewood area that would probably appreciate that especially the ones that have no place to eat that is a pizza place in the area. With Thomas ranch being built and that neighborhood having several thousand homes it's probably a good idea to eventually be open later I think. I hope you guys do well and expand and grow like crazy!
Easily my favorite pizza place, not just in the area, but in Austin. Staff is friendly and attentive and the food is next level. I've taken all of my friends there when they're in the area and so far, everyone has been thoroughly impressed. Personally, my favorite slice to get is their Margherita, but the Pachanga is a very close second.
First time here, but as others have stated, without a doubt the best pizza in and around Austin. We have driven by many times but never when they are open but today, as we drove by I saw the lights and made a quick U-turn to give them a try. So glad we stopped! As others have pointed out, they clearly make their sauce. This is one of my biggest complaints from other places who use a very bland tasting sauce. But not here; the sauce alone makes the pizza! But their dough, thin and just the right amount of crispiness. Not so hard like a pretzel but not soft like uncooked pizza dough from most other places. The cheese is amazing! They are using real cheese and you can tell by the "stretchiness" of their cheese. This time we just had a slice of pepperoni and it really was amazing! We are looking forward to trying one of their pies with more ingredients as well. I hope as this area grows... they will partner with Uber Eats or Grub Hub. Bottom line, if you are in the area, make sure to stop off like we did and you'll be convinced how amazing this pizza is.
Unfortunately, this was not the quality of pizza and calzone I wanted when I selected this establishment as something to pick up on the way home. First, the service is by the family (New England Italian?) working there, and is thoughtful and personal. I really liked the interior, as it is truly reminiscent of the little Italian restaurants up north which are as ubiquitous as Tex-Mex is here. This restaurant also served the pizza within the timeframe promised and was hot and fresh. Finally, the price point per amount of food from a pizza restaurant and not buffet or chain is unbeatable, as I purchased an oversized specialty pizza and calzone for around $40. As for the actual restaurant product - much is to be desired, and it did not meet my expectations, nor the quality I expect from a true, family run establishment. The pizza is unremarkable. The crust is chewy, but has little to no flavor. Any taste I got from the cheese and toppings were overwhelmed by the sugary pizza sauce. The calzone was okay - again, nothing remarkable. This is an excellent choice for a large family on a budget, or high school kids who desire a pizza with friends after school. In fact, this is what this establishment reminded me most of - an after-school hangout wherein some of the kids also work there. Giovanni's Pizza on South Lamar offers much better quality, similar style pizza at a similar price point, and at this time, I would not return to Jersey Giant Pizza.
I’m usually not one to leave reviews at all. I don’t want to be that person but I am born and raised in NYS and so I’d like to think I have a semi good understanding of pizza. First of all I have never in my life paid $60 for an 18” pepperoni and 12 wings. Mind you this is coming from someone who shops regularly at Whole Foods and spends a lot of the times more than necessary on certain items just because I like it. I feel like $60 is a bit ridiculous. The pizza was meh at best, chewy dough, kind of like something you’d get at a gas station. The wings were some of the worst I’ve ever had, I’m not exactly sure how you manage to get wings to be so soggy. You fry them in oil and so they should be naturally a little crispy at the very least? Very disappointing experience. The workers were pleasant but if you really want good pizza you should go to Home Slice in the city or even Whole Foods for a much better pizza for only $15. Again I’m not trying to needlessly bash a business but it’s pretty ridiculous to charge $60 for crap food.
