Hot damn! I wish this place was closer to us. The place itself has lots of seating, booths and tables. The service is great, staff is very friendly and gives you time to look over the menu. The chip were fresh and hot, and the salsa very yummy. They had a lot of options on the menu and our food was absolutely delicious! We saw they have margarita specials but we didn’t order them. The portion size was awesome and we would definitely be back if in the area again! Definitely a must stop if you want some good Mexican food.

The old number one for folks in the westgate area when it comes to tex-mex. Been going here for 25 years. Old timers will say more. I've literally eaten everything on the menu. There is nothing I would not recommend. Seat yourself, get greeted with chips and salsa, order drinks and eats promptly. Pay up front at cashier. What else could you ask for? Every time! THANK GOD there are still, at least, a few REAL places like this.

For the first time while driving in the area. Places like this they should be able to exist forever, good flavor on the food and great quality margaritas for sure. The servers are great which is a better reason to go to this place so you have all the VIP attention while eating. The place get packed during dinner time and that’s because the food is great and the service too.

My sister, cousin and I ate there today and it was awesome. The waitress we had was amazing! The food so delicious. Their salsa was one of the better ones I've tasted. Definitely will be a repeat visit next time I come to Austin. Well worth the price.

We had a great impromptu meal here the other day after the gym. Place was fairly busy for a Thursday night, but we sat ourselves immediately and got a round of drinks quickly. We ordered a taco salad and stuffed avocado that were fantastic and ~$10 each + 2 Mexican martinis and 2 glasses of wine for $50 total. Hard to find a reasonably priced meal these days.

This is what we call Traditional Mexican food! The quality of the food here is one of the best Mexican food in greater Austin area. If you want pure Mexican Food, come visit them, you will enjoy the place and food. Service here was really nice, the waitress are constantly around when you need them, won't bother you if you are busy eating.

The food was good overall — not the best I’ve had, but definitely not bad. It wasn’t greasy, and I didn’t feel heavy after eating, which is always a plus. My server was friendly, though they did mix up a couple of our orders at the table. The rice could’ve used a bit more flavor, but the chicken was tasty and well-cooked. The enchiladas, chicken tacos, and beef puffy tacos are worth trying 🌮. The restaurant was pretty packed around 7 PM during the dinner rush, so expect a bit of a wait. You don’t pay at the table — instead, you pay near the front door in a narrow hallway on your way out.

Excellent breakfast tacos. They definitely do not skimp on the ingredients. My favorite was the Picadio taco. No complaints from my brother with the traditional egg breakfast. Chips and salsa were also excellent. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. Highly recommend.

The 1 combo is tasty and inexpensive. The cheese enchiladas are delicious. Can be noisy on Friday night and Saturday night. Very family friendly and the servers are great

This restaurant has a charming atmosphere and a welcoming staff, which made for a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the vibe. We ordered the mole plate and the nachos especiales, and both were disappointingly bland. The queso was fine but nothing memorable, while the salsa was the standout of the meal—fresh and flavorful. If they put as much care into seasoning the dishes as they do their salsa, this place could be great.

Came here because other reviews… I love authentic Mexican food, but sorry to say this was not it. Food was bland. Chicken mole tasted very different I was able to sample the sauce and I’m glad I did. I can’t put my finger on it but it tasted different from any chicken mole I’ve ever tasted in my life The ground beef inside of the tacos was flavorless the cheese enchiladas had so much cheese that, thats all I could even taste. The Sopapillas were overcooked, very dry and difficult to eat. Three things that were good were their tortillas,charro beans, and Mexican margarita.

The food is absolutely horrible. I am confident they buy their ingredients at Walmart or Sam's Club as the food tasted more like edible chemicals than food for humans. Very disappointed since the place was busy. I don't understand how they stay busy or how they will actually stay in business. Not recommended at all if there was 0 stars for the food I would have picked -10!
