I've been to this location a handful of times and their food is consistently great! I'd definitely recommend going at non peak times as parking is not always easy but one of the best diners in Austin for sure! Goat cheese grits were my favorite!

This is my favorite diner in Austin. I like to go there early before they get busy. Pictured, the BST Omelette: Bacon Spinach, Tomato. The bacon is thick, the spinach isn't overcooked, and the tomato balances the rich flavors or the egg and it's aioli sauce. So good. I also highly recommend the beet hash, and their smothered tater tot appetizer. So good.

The place was great. We got there early enough to be seated right away. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Even though space is limited, the food and service are fast enough that it doesn't seem like people were waiting too long. I got the brisket burrito, and man, was it good! A little greasy, but delish. I poured the salsa it comes with over my potatoes, * chef's kiss. It has a very small kick but the flavor pairs well with the potatoes. My husband got the flapjacks, which was equally delish. We'll definitely need to come back for more.

Great vibe in this "Keep Austin Weird" eatery!! Fun menu with delicious bites. Enjoyed the eggs Benedict with crab cakes and hollaindais.

This place was delicious. I ordered the French Toast and horchata and my partner got the omlette and short stack. The French Toast was crispy on the outside, and soft in the middle - I would reorder this, but not before I re-order the omlette, which really felt like the star of the meal - the sauce was excellent and the meal itself had a lot of variation on the textures, it was also a lot bigger than expected. I was really happy with it. The pancakes were pretty standard and the horchata was decent, but I would come back for the omlette and French toast.

Maura was out server! Oved her up beat, positive attitude. The food, well PHENOMENAL! Started with a bloody Mary that had a pierced pickle, banana pepper and okra, yummy! Than, we shared a Cheeky Monkey and the special, Mozzarella Omelette. This far the most delicious and unique plates you'll have here in Austin. Highly recommend this place when you're here.

First time back in Austin in a few years, and we stumbled upon this lovely little restaurant. They get 5 stars based on the bacon and the service alone! The mozzarella omelet was good, just not my style. (The sauce was too watery for me, but it was chock full of cheese!)

Since everyone says how good is phoebe’s, we decided to give them a try. If I am reviewing quality to value, they are 5/5 stars ⭐️ If I was to review food only 4/5 stars 🌟 the portions are huge. I can count on one hand how many times my husband didn’t finish his food and mine, this was one of those rare instances. - Bloody Mary: very good - Cheeky Monkey: it was very unique and great flavors - Fried chicken biscuit: it was good but it had a gritty taste (not sure if it is the breading or the biscuit) - Chorizo hash: really good mix of flavors, will order again - Buttermilk flapjack: the fluffiest pancakes I ever ate. Pancakes aren’t typically my first choice to order but those I will definitely order again and again

Phoebe’s Diner on Oltorf is a great spot for breakfast. Putting myself on the waitlist via Yelp made the experience easy and saved a lot of time. The food was delicious, and the restaurant has a comfortable, medium-sized dining area with both indoor seating and a nice front patio. The staff was efficient, and everything looked clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, one of my dishes had a single strand of short black hair in it, which was a bit off-putting since none of us have short hair. Overall, still a good breakfast spot with a few details that could be improved.

Feels kind of like breakfast with a twist? Service was good, we were seated quickly and our food came out timely. We got the migas which aren’t really migas just their version of them. They were okay just different. The potatoes that came with it were pretty thick, you definitely need some sauce to go with them or cut them up. We also got biscuits and gravy which did not come in regular biscuit form. Kind of threw us off but still good. And we got the regular bacon and eggs. The bacon was pretty thick and kind of a mouth full. The eggs and toast were good! Hashbrown casserole was my favorite. We definitely like the vibe the restaurant came with.

Phoebe’s has a great vibe and solid breakfast, but it’s not perfect. The pancakes and eggs were good, but the fried chicken was pretty disappointing; dry and not very flavorful. The service wasn’t bad but definitely not as good as it should be. Our waitress didn’t really check in on us and when we asked for creamer she went MIA. Not bad overall, just wouldn’t order the chicken again.

Phoebe's diner is definitely a must try restaurant! The ambiance is great very cute. The service is good! Our orders were all stemmed from our waiter's recommendations. Food was fantastic. Cold brew was fantastic. Mimosas was fantastic. However, leaving a 3 star because towards the end, yes we were done with our food but we were still drinking our $30 carafe mimosas and enjoying our time but then our waitress comes and picks up our glasses and basically says “sorry not trying to rush but we do have a wait outside” meaning, cause others were waiting on a table. I totally understand that part, however we weren’t done with our drinks and we left her a great tip on our $147 bill. It may also not be the waitresses fault, maybe management pushes their servers to rush people out and if that’s the case, management needs to figure out a better method. Because we’re still paying to enjoy the service and left a good tip. We will think twice about coming back to this diner.
