great food + great service! The croissant sandwich is huge! I got the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and it was so good I ate half before remembering to take a picture. There’s a 4 plug outlet in case you need to work or study or charge your phone. It’s definitely a calm place to be especially compared to the other brunch/breakfast spots in Austin. Saving this place for my next visit to Austin. Next time I’ll try the breakfast tacos and coffee.

I walked in this place at 5:30am and had the freshest glazed donut I’ve ever had in my life. Literally, right out of the oven. I also ordered a coffee, a cinnamon roll and half a dozen of the glazed donut holes all freshly made. The total cost was less than $6. Unbelievable value! Open super early! Walking distance to ACC Northridge and close to the Domain. Great, friendly service too. A perfect way to get the day started early in the morning.

The best donuts in Austin! Everything I’ve had there is delicious: the donuts, the kolaches, the breakfast tacos, and the coffee. And the owner is so sweet and friendly. She often gives some extra donut holes, which are so good!!

We love this corner spot, we’ve been coming here for years. I don’t know why it’s taken so long for me to write a review. The owner is the nicest lady. The coffee is great and we always grab a bag of the mixed donut holes. Love coming here whenever we’re in the neighborhood.

Favorite mom and pop shop to get breakfast sweets from, their prices remind of the good old days when I was young (like 10 years ago) where donuts seemed like such an easy and cheap treat. It's definitely a family owned business and they're kind/courteous, devoted to their customers. Even though they were gone for a family emergency one time, they still had the forethought to leave a sign on the front door letting their customers know WHY they were closed, which is more than I can say for other businesses. Food is delicious and the sweet lady who's always behind the counter ends to give a little extra sometimes which duh, as a college student I'm not gonna say no to some extra donut holes! Love this place!

My boyfriend and I live very close by and we LOVE River City Donuts! The service is always amazing, she treats us so well. Pricing is outstanding for the whole menu, the smoothies are yummy and the donuts are delicious! We probably visit once a week at this point. Much love!

We have been going to River City Donut with our kids for over 2 years and it is always delicious . The owner is always sweet and gives an awesome service . I highly recommend these donuts , they are so soft and delicious . The kolaches , specially the croissant kolache are so GOOOOD. The tacos , are also sooo savory and flavorful . My girls love them. And they have espressooooo 🥰🥰 Highly recommend ❤️

Visited this hidden gem for the first time today on a recommendation, and I can see it becoming a top spot for me. The lady working there is super sweet, and there are many sweet and savory pastry options in addition to tacos and donuts. I tried the potato egg and cheese taco, the strawberry smoothie, and some donut holes, all of which WAY surpassed my expectations. I also tried a maple donut. I can't say it was one of the better maple donuts I've had, but judging by the donut holes I'm sure their other donut flavors are amazing. I'll have to come back and try them!

I am so happy we tried this place! I will definitely be back! The croissants and kolaches were amazing, some of the best I’ve ever had! The chocolate cake donut was super soft and rich, exactly the way I like it. The tacos were acceptable. The absolute best part was the sweet lady working there today. She was so kind and helpful. They were about to close so she ended up giving us a couple free donuts. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this experience.

Donuts were good, terrible selection, empty shelves and dirty cases, dirty windows, seller told me she had donut varietied she really didn't and tried to push other items on me saying they were the same when they weren't. Won't be back despite the good donuts. Many other spots have good donuts and are clean with good service.
