Opinions de Roland's Soul Food Austin
Small nook neslted in Austin. Southern soul & comfort food. Great fish and I recommend the collard greens. The service was great they staff was very friendly.
My first time eating there the chicken and dressing mac and cheese cornbread and green and yams was so delicious and very generous portions reasonable price
I was so amazed by the food selection and the service i received. I'm always come back with new people. I love this pace as they were my own family! Must try😀!
Best southern comfort food I've found in Austin. Went for lunch, took a plate home for dinner. Friendly folks too. Will be going back for the Fri fish fry.
This spot is always on point. Ox tails are a must! Good customer service with good convo. Can't wait to go back. PSA: There may be a long line, but wait isn't bad.
I love it here, when I come I always get the smothered pork chop. I need to try something new but its just so good that I crave it. People complaining about the kool-aid like y'all don't know how black people make it with ALOT of sugar. I mix the lemonade with the kool-aid & BAM! Lawd Jesus! Customer service is excellent. I would recommend
Family atmosphere with flavorful fried treats and sides. Ordered the shrimp basket with fries and mac and cheese. Fries were spiced with seasoning and crispy. Mac and cheese was great. Definitely food for the soul!
My husband loves the food here. This will be my first time eating here. It's a bit of a wait not to bad so I hope the food is worth the wait.
So delicious! Best meal I've had in Austin! Extremely friendly staff! If I ever come back to Austin I will definitely be back! I recommend 1000%!
Friendly & like home. Just plain old good homecooked food. Very reasonable. Another restaurant was closed, so we were recommended to Roland's. Good choice.
I had the collard greens black-eyed peas cornbread and chitterlings everything was so good season great didn’t have to add anything to it just delicious i’ve been here for over 30 years never had Rolands and I will be a fluent customer Great customer service and great food.
As my sweet, Southern father used to say about a plate of good food, "That's the sleeping pill!" The mains, the sides, the cornbread, and the staff offer an authentic old East Side experience. Roland's just has to good neighborhood vibe...
Roland's has the most wonderful young women work in his business. Good customer service. Along with some of the best home cooked food in Austin.
I haven't been there in over 6 years and the food was still great. I had my man with me and it was his first time and he really enjoyed it.
One of my most favorite places on the East Side to eat when on that side of town. Nicole the friendliest staff person I've ever met and made friends with. Great food for the money.
While visiting Austin, TX for training, my coworkers and I were looking for some soul food and we found this place. The food was great and the customer service was even better. Whenever you find yourself in Austin, please make sure to visit this restaurant. Thanks Mr. Roland.... the New Orleans Crew.
I am from Ohio and wanted a real non-touristy meal. OMG. The food was AMAZING!! And the lady at the front counter was great. She was very helpful, and her recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend Roland's!!!
The food is so good. Reminds me of the deep South in Tennessee and Alabama where I got family. A good home cooked meal. Will definitely come back and is my work lunch rotation. Best Sweet Tea and Lemonade in Austin
The best food in Austin, TX. There, I said it! Outstanding food and excellent service! I will eat here every single time I am in Austin! Roland’s is on Chestnut street, its painted bright orange so you wont miss it. There was plenty of parking out front, even during lunch time. The ambiance is what you would expect from a soul food spot. There are at least a dozen tables, everything is clean and the walls are adorned with features from local magazines and awards for being the most badass food on the planet, pretty much. I was greeted by two lovely ladies the second I walked in the door. The place felt like home and I hadnt been in there a minute yet. Everything smells so good, and the menu had a little bit of everything. It made it really hard to choose, especially with the sides. I could see the sides and wanted all of them, but ultimately decided on baked chicken with yams and greens. Rene, my server, asked if I wanted dressing. Ive never been a big dressing fan, but everything smelled so good, I told her why not. My son ordered wings and fries, with mac an cheese and peach cobbler. All dishes come with 2 sides and cornbread. I just dont know where to begin. Everything was on point. The dressing that I wasn’t even sure about to begin with, was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The chicken was beautifully seasoned, and had a lil kick to it. The greens and yams were delicious and the cornbread almost made me cry. Im not kidding. My son said the wings were the best he’d ever had and Id have to agree. You can tell they were fried tge right way- in really hot oil, because they were fried to perfection: crispy with almost no grease. They were perfect. The macaroni and cheese was rich and creamy and full of flavor. My son loved the lemonade and the peach cobbler, which we ended up taking with us because we were too full from lunch. I forgot to mention that the portions were fat as hell. This is the best food I have eaten in Austin yet. Rolands does not disappoint and I will be back!!!
I love this restaurant. I'm from Florida, was looking for some good home cooking...found it! Nicole the owner is a sweetheart and an angel from heaven. Love the beef tips, meatloaf, and sides. I will be back.
So amazing I cant rave enough about this place. You can tell they take time with their food and they are so friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for fantastic food and a friendly fun atmosphere
Very friendly staff. Generous portions. I had smothered pork chop with black eyed peas and mac n cheese. All very good. It was like love on a plate.
This is a soul food restaurant hidden in the last original historic Black East Austin neighborhood. It is located at Chestnut and 14th. Family owned with a great soul food menu. Family atmosphere and great staff. Prices are reasonable and great portions.
This place was delicious! I had the smothered pork chop with yams and Mac and cheese. Unbelievable...will be trying beef tips next time! They provide good service and treat customers with care.
Man the mac and cheese was good. Catfish was nicely battered and the shrimp where a good size. I ended up getting some yams and aww lawd they were so good! Cant wait to go back!
Everything was fire 🔥 🔥🔥 We had the catfish .... it was so light and airy and crispy 🤤 the greens were seriously some of the best I've ever had and mac n cheese 🧀 was amazing too. 10/10 & we will be back
Their food is the heart and soul of East Austin! The smothered porkchop is amazing and the greens are perfect. The staff is super friendly and take great care of their customers. This place is special.
Roland's is above board in service and menu!!! EVERYTHING on the menu is EXCELLENT!!! If you like mediocre foods, don't go here. But if the best Soul Food in Austin is what you crave, stop by Roland's!!! You won't be disappointed!!!
Awesome food....Soul food and All types. So good and excellentally Seasoned/flavor. Very friendly! Great atmosphere....homey like. Owner Eddie Roland really makes you feel comfortable, appreciated and is a Friend to all.
Dont go looking for fancy atmosphere. Go for dang good food. Today was my 1st time there and definitely won't be my last. The greens were the best I've ever had. The beef tips were not fatty like I've had elsewhere. Take cash for tipping as their cc receipt doesn't have a line to add tip. If you loved Dot's, Roland's has your back.
I can't say enough about the cooking I just ate. This was my first time here and my experience was amazing. Very nice employees and the food is very delicious!!! Love this place. I highly recommend Roland's to everyone!!!
Mr Roland is cooking up some great food . His staff is friendly and welcoming to all. I was especially impressed with the smothered pork chop and the greens. Only downside is there are no dinner hours it's lunch time till 5pm only. Be sure and check online as the specials change everyday. So come early and come hungry.
From the first time I visited Roland's, I knew this would be my go to place for comfort/soul food. Everytime I go, I'm greeted with a smile and wonderful service. The portions you are served are enough for two meals, taste amazing & are reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Wonderful food and service that make you want to return again & again.
Best food I had while visiting Austin. Best service I got while visiting Austin. I will definitely be coming again!!! Everything was just so delicious. From a person who grew up eating Grandma's soul food, these people really know how to do it right. It's hard to find a restaurant who does it just as good as your mom does at home. These guys have captured the magic of home in a restaurant! Made me feel like I was at home.
The food was amazing! Comfort food; a nice treat for my cheat day. The service was great, and the people were friendly....nice family atmosphere where you don't feel rushed. Television inside so my friend could watch the game. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone wanting good, authentic soul food.
Food is delicious. The cabbage is remarkable, the fish & shrimp is excellent! The yams had a bit much nutmeg but it was still good! The beef tips & neck bones was awesome!
Picked up the fish plate which came with 2 filets and 2 sides and cornbread. The sides were good but the highlight was the fish. Large pieces that were tender and had a flavorful but light batter, yum. I plan on going back.
Love the cozy and authentic atmosphere of the place. The ladies taking our order and preparing our food are so friendly and absolute joys. The food was delicious, especially the fried fish. I’ll definitely be back, with friends!!
Dam it ! I looked up on google good fish restaurant and well on google it brought u this restaurant Absolutely amazing absolutely delicious I will be back and bring some people with me I absolutely loved it. My mother and I had a good meal at good prices I recommend the fish and potato salad with Collard 🥬 greens. It was great 👍🏼 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Roland's reminded me of eating a good Sunday dinner, with family all around! Their 1 inch thick smothered pork chop I pulled apart with my plastic fork, it was so tender. The corn tasted as if each niblet was filled with butter, and the greens?! The greens were just as good as my mom's! No kidding! If you want to take a trip back to your mom's kitchen, you should definitely try Roland's. Or, just try them anyway! You won't be disappointed! He's 1113 Chestnut.
Roland's used to be a secret place that only the locals knew about, but they are too damn good to keep silent about! O.M.G. The portions are healthy and everything is cooked with love. If you're from the south, you will feel like you just stepped into your mama's kitchen. If you're not, prepare to be educated on fine, slow-cooked, love-infused soul food. You will be there every week so consider yourself warned. ;)
The staff is so friendly. Great southern food. The black-eyed peas, corn bread, banana pudding, and cabbage we're so good! We also liked the county fried chicken and country fried steak. It made my tummy so happy!
Being a vegan, I didn't eat here myself. I did go inside with my wife. Never have I heard this woman smack and chew so loud. Who can lick their fingers loud? My wife! Because of that, I'm going to assume the food here is really, really great. For me, it was the atmosphere. I grew up in the "country" parts of Georgia. We had places like these. The unity, camaraderie, fellowshipping, and just the joy of being around folks enjoying some good old soul food, brought back so many memories.
I had the fried fish and chicken wings. The fish was delicious, and the cornmeal was crisp. All the food tasted great and was fresh. It was a very welcoming location. If you want good soul food I'd recommend this place. It is also a locally owned business with character. 9/17/19 Update: So I went back to Roland's and wanted to come back to this review just to mention this place is still amazing. Trust me you won't be let down. This was probably my fifth time there and I have yet to be let down.
I really enjoyed spending my money at a Black Owned Restaurant. The food was delicious. The equipment on the inside along with the floors needs to be replaced. The staff was very friendly. My kids got the chicken tenders plate and was supper excited that it was better than most fast food places.
I was hanging out Maggie Mae's in downtown Austin, and the doorman highly suggested this place. So sure enough I had to check it out. This little homey, cozy, soul food spot smelled amazing upon entering. I originally wanted alligator but unfortunately they were out of that, but I don't regret getting the meatloaf one bit! All of the food was very flavorful, and portions are generous for the price. They even took it up to notches when I found out they made Kool aid in house haha. Everything was above what was expected, and I definitely plan on coming back!
This is a small cozy, homely styled restaurant. The food was great. And the service was as good as could be, being that I brought a group of 50 without calling. Lol. The owner showed up in a suit and gator shoes and got right in the kitchen, and worked like the rest of his staff. Much respect. I'll be back the very next time I visit Austin!
My friend and I visited Austin this weekend and we really wanted some soul food and this was the first place to pop up. I ordered ox tails and he ordered chicken fried chicken, and we were not disappointed! The amount of food they give you for price is amazing! The taste of the food was out of this world! Great spot to visit when craving soul food 😊
New austin texas residence and thought there were no soul food resturants but yes! Found this one and food was amazing and Ms.Nicole is so sweet. She gave us the rundown on the menu and weekly specials. She let my boyfriend try their fried fish on the house. Hospitality + delicious food and sweet tea, lemonade & punch. Gotta go
Great find! Had the catfish, mac & cheese, & cabbage. The catfish was seasoned very well, mac & cheese did not disappoint either. It was worth the drive from Cedar Park. Will be back!
Pretty good. First time trying. Wish the yams were sweeter and less dry, cabbage a lil on the spicy side But everything else was delicious
Ordered wings, rice & gravy, sweet potatoes. Wings are good. Not enough gravy on rice. Sweet potatoes are canned, & very little seasoning. I'll just order the wings next time
I wanted something different for my Sunday brunch so call them to see what on the menu for today and the food were great.but they had a call for eleven people and four table had people already eaten so you need to let people know that we can not sit everybody together. thanks you
Was a go to spot but last few times the greens were too salty for us to actually eat and finish. Meatloaf was good though portion was on smaller side
They are a reliable staple for soul food in Austin!! They were out of the beef tips, but I went at 4p. Duh!! I chose smothered pork chops. Very good as well. Don't forget to ask for a frequent eater card because you'll be back!! :)
I've been hear more than a few times...I flat out enjoy the food. All of it! Chitterlings are completely off the chain. But...i will never understand why this hot seed pot closes at 5pm!!! Dinner is just starting...
Overall, the food that my family had was really good. I can say that the greens, fried fish, rice and black-eyed peas, cornbread were amazing! The corn tasted like it was poured right out the can. The fried chicken wasn't perfectly seasoned to me but my mom liked it. The food was warm instead of hot. I would definitely go back if we visited Austin again.
Food is really good. Just try not to go there an hour before they close. They will rush you and throw all the slobs on your plate.
The fried wings tasted pretty good The bass was well cooked deal Could be season a little bit more But the overall meal tasted very well Was disappointed on The day they did not have oxtails Ran out a great deal of food by 2 o'clock But enjoyed the meal overall
Great customer service! The food is average, could do better for as homemade sides and the fish was undercooked. The food prep action doesn’t match the hype of the reviews.
Don't like the fact that you can't see the food being served b/c it is hidden behind 3 large dry erase boards. I like to see what I am being served. Unorganized! The credit card machine had broke down so there was no back up plan, except to request cash only. By the time my co-worker got her food we were almost done with ours. They claimed they were making it fresh. Even if you dine in restaurant you still eat from a styrofoam togo container. The food was good but the service is slow.
It's hard to judge. The food is 4 stars. The service is only 2 stars. It's hard to say that I would go back because the service is poor. I think I will just ask my mom to make me something. You should definitely call in your order and just pick up.
Food's okay, but looks like I'm still on the search for really really Southern food in this town...growing up in Louisiana got me spoiled I guess. Anyway, things were already running out and didn't even give me the correct sides at all at all, despite asking me what I wanted to replace "run out" items with. Ended up with macaroni and candied yams, that weren't really seasoned. Meatloaf was tomatoey in a brown gravy...flavors just clashed.
It’s an okay place to eat in Austin! Not impressed with the sides. I agree with so many others about the sides-Straight out the can “Glory Greens”! The staff was super nice &’friendly. The fish was under- cooked.
The home like atmoshohere is great. I tried the chicken and dressing; it left much to be desired. The Mac and cheese was half cooked and the greens needed more seasoning. My guest tried the chitterlings; he says they were delicious! However, the black-eyed peas were to salty and the cabbage could have used more seasoning. We will visit again, but try something different from the menu.
It has a bad odor when you walk in (strike 1), the lady was too busy to take our order in a timely manner (strike 2) and there were flies landing on the food (strike 3). We just walked out. I gave it a 3 because i don't know if the food tasted great or not due to the 3 strikes before i could place an order.
I gave 3 stars because the food was really good and portions were great but the cashier Jasmine was rude and obnoxious. Had an attitude from the start we were all in a good mood eating with family on a saterday happy and nice and she just was so rude. She killed all of our moods she was in her phone the whole time and put all the work on the other worker wich I wish i got the other workers name because she was the sweetest and most helpful waitress I think I've ever had. I would recommend the food but the cashier kills the buissness for them.
Not very clean. The ac is extremely rusted and blowing filthy particles. The cashier was rude. The bathroom is scary. I wanted to like the food but the dingy dirty environment ruined it for me.
I strongly disagree. I went into Roland's and order a smother pork chop plate and the crack head that's working the kitchen didn't put any rice on my plate. I checked the plate after I had left.
If I can cook it at home and it taste better than what I buy at a restaurant, I can do without it. Oxtails were nothing to write home about. When I cook them, they fall off the bone. These had to be torn from the bone. Friend of mine went once and old man Roland asked her if she needed her change. It was a few dollars.......Really? You don't create an uncomfortable situation to get a tip. Let the customer offer.
It's par for Austin, since there are only a handful of locations that serve real "Soul" food here. The seasoning was lacking however the meats arrived piping hot, the sides from the warming table were not the greatest and honestly appeared to be poured straight from the can.
I just bought a smothered pork chop plate with greens n yams. It was very very salty. I couldn't even finish it because I feel very sick. Next time maybe not serve old dry pork chops as well. An these canned greens are horrible. Im extremely disappointed today!
Was traveling to Austin to see the relays and ordered smothered pork chops with rice , yams and greens. It took 30 minutes or more to get our order. Our order was to go and the pork chops was tender but the yams was canned yams, not sure about the greens. I'm use to going and looking to see the food I order. They take your order and call your number 30 minutes later. So you can't see what they're doing..Will not go back.
Saw all the other reviews I may need to go when that cook is in the Kitchen. Roland's is always hit N miss, I don't know which is worse the customer service or the food Ms.Stephanie the lunch server is like that horrible lunch monitor she's God's child so I give her pass. Mr. Roland should upgrade his staff to match the changes to the building best item on the menu in my opinion are the greens, and lemonade!
I saw Roland's ad on Google search. The menu looked good along with pictures of the food. Since I had not eaten Chitterlings in such a long time, I decided to place an order for two dinners. Both the sweet potatoes and can greens were good. The Chitterlings were a total disappointment, in fact, if I wasn't seeing the chitterlings, I would have never known they were chitterlings because they had chopped tomatoes in them and I've never seen anyone cook tomatoes in chitterlings, nor did they taste like chitterlings. Disappointingly so, because of this fact, I will not return to Roland's again.
Today is Sunday 10/10/20 this place has Great customer service and cleanliness however food is served warm and not hot. Oxtails were ok not seasoned. Came in today and the menu read that plate were no longer served with rice and it was an additional dollar to get rice on your plate 🤣😂😩🙌🏾 how you gonna serve beef tips smothered pork chops oxtails meatloaf and it not come with rice. I will not be returning to rolands
Maybe this was a one off. But I visited for the first time and ordered all sides. Once I receive it the sides were cold, the taste of the cabbage was way off same with the greens. The Mac and cheese appeared as if it had set all day One thing I will say is the service was great it felt like family. I will give it another try because I believe it was a one off day
The lady had a great attitude. The food was not so great. Cornbread was burnt at the bottom. The greens were canned greens, not fresh. My granddaughters chicken strips were moist and the fries were loaded with oil. The fish was good though. I would not recommend this place to anyone
Not only did I get food poisoning, but when I used the credit card machine some one from the staff cloned my card and went on a shopping spree. Do not get me wrong the food was delicious, but the price was difentley not worth it.
I love Soulfood this place need to take their time and cook they food right!! Ain’t no way I see be tasting a old grease taste eating my pork chop and gravy!! They had just opened at12pm. They were telling people that we don’t got this or that!!! I wonder do they cook their food at the restaurant or at home bc AINT NO WAy!!!
For it to be a small place i couldn't see why the owner did not speak an say hello or welcome to his place. It took a long time for the food to come out but was simi cold. The only thing that was ok was the SHRIMP my husband order,my food taste like it all came out the can, its sad really then there was no ICE for the kool aide or soda. It was clean though.
Let me tell you...I'm all for supporting a black owned business..but that DOES not mean that I'm going to let bad service pass. My boyfriend and I came from Houston to Austin for a mini bae cae. We looked up soul food restaurants and this one was on the list. Mind you...I read the reviews and they seemed good. I did notice one that said the cashier asks or tries to guilt trip you in to a tip as soon as you order. I laughed that off. 😒 I wasn't ready. I really wasn't. So...we get there and find a place to park...that's sarcasm because it's like 6 spots to park. Anyhow...we went in...made our order and as the lady rang us up...SHE ASKED FOR A TIP!! I have NEVER eaten anywhere and had them ask me for a tip before I even so much as sat down. STRIKE ONE! We paid and asked what drinks they had...they pointed to a counter and there were 3 plastic pitchers. One had hawaiian punch...the other some type of lemonade...and the third had water until a worker walked up and dumped off brand tea into it and stirred it up. Anyways...they brought our food out in like 3 minutes. I ordered meatloaf...black eyed peas and cabbage. Whoever warmed the meatloaf up in the microwave forgot to heat it up long enough so that the gravy could thin...😒...the cabbage was lukewarm...and the BLACK EYED PEAS...had no sauce...and were dry and hard. They had not been cooked long enough. The cornbread...😒😔..bless their soul...it was barely warm and kinda wet 🤔 on top. Jesus take the wheel! My boyfriend ordered fried fish and shrimp which was also magically cooked in 3 minutes. 😒🤔😒 It was supposed to be fresh. It was clearly from the day before...there was no crunch to it...there wasn't a lick of grease on any of it. It was limp..😂 Just saaaaad af. He poured so much hot sauce on that ish. Lol I could not believe it....the entire time I kept thinking whyyyyy oh whyyy did Ms. Lola have to leave Austin. Her food was the best! Lesson learned...never again. My Granny always said if you can't SMELL the food cooking you have no business eating it..and I understood exactly what she meant. Just say no to MICROWAVED FOOD if you are running a restaurant.
The cabbage was overcooked, the mac and cheese was also overcooked and the food tasted like absolutely nothing. My cornbread was not cooked all the way, as in it was still liquidy. We waited over 30 minutes for fish and meatloaf and it wasn't appealing to looks eat for that matter. Wouldn't come back again, not worth the price paid
Not even worth the one star. Didn't even make it to the food! Funny smell and didn't seem clean. The lady at the front was nice, but as we were leaving, she double charged us for one drink, trying to get extra money from us. Suceeded. My aunt got one drink to go, and I paid $2. Then my cousin paid for the same drink! Glad we didn't eat there! Kool-aid in a drink dispenser for sale! Tuh! No no no.
I am disappointed in food I was served. I ordered an oxtail plate, which looked and smelled delicious however once I ate a couple of bites I immediately felt sick and nauseated. I had to pull over to the side of the road. I will never eat here again.
Drove an hour to try this restaurant and it was closed. Hours on door day 11am open, I came at 1pm and the doors were locked. I was really looking forward to try this place. Not sure why they don’t have a phone number to call because I wanted to call to confirm they were open!
I went there on April 3rd, this was my last weekend here in Austin, I had ordered Oxtail , rice gravy, candy yams, green beans, peach cobbler, I also ordered the Kool-aid that was watered down . When I tell you they are wrong for charging 21.00 for one Oxtail an a neck-bone that was not on the menu. I took my plate back in to let the lady know that it was only one oxtail and that there was a neck-bone in my plate. She seemed surprised that I knew what it was talking about lol I am a country girl I know my meats. After that she said I will get you another order . I got that ordered went back to my truck opened it up it was the same thing. At that point I just said forget it I wasn’t taking it back.( I only went there because Big Mama’s Kitchen, permanently closed. Now that’s where you would get your money’s worth. She changed 36.00 for hers , I promise you that you got what you paid for and then some it was all Oxtails no other meats aided in . ), Now the candy yams were good and the cornbread, I usually wait until I get home to eat my food not sure why but I am glad that I open it up to taste it . If not I would have been home that’s a 30 minute drive due to traffic. I would have been so mad 😡 . You think of all the People that didn’t open their food until they got home. You wonder why people don’t support you is because you always try to get over on people. Just sale what you say . I will never go back there again. So disappointed
If I could give them no stars and still write a review I would. One of the most horrific experiences I have had in recent times when it comes to customer service. I waited 35 minutes for a 2 piece fish dinner. I watched other people with same items I ordered in line right in front of me get serviced and left and I was still waiting. Numbers (orders) placed after me, and anything (fried) as they kept yelling is a 15 minute wait ( I'm looking at my receipt I'm already 30 minutes vested in now. I finally got my order both my side items are sold out that were available and on the misspelled hand written menu board. Now to TOP it I was NOT given paper towels / napkins and no eating utensils absolutely horrible business.. I am exhausted and to be FULLY TRUTHFUL, I THREW the FOOD away after first BITE once I got to my CAR. Oh LETS NOT FORGET TO MENTION. I TIPPED the CASHIER as she so graciously propersionted at time of my credit card purchase... THE WORST .....
I was so excited to try this place and had high expectations. But I have to be honest, the only thing that was good was the stuffing . The chicken was pink and still had blood in it. Not thoroughly cooked. The Mac and cheese was basic the chitterlings taste like were not cleaned properly. I Threw up after a while and also had a bad stomach ache. Not sure if I just went on a bad day but I definitely will not be returning. Also I ordered a peach cobbler that they didn’t put in my bag but I guess I should’ve checked it . But it’s not a place I would return to .
First off when we walked in they didn’t greet us nor did they look up. They kept counting their tip jar. Then the food was horrible. I asked for more gravy which they made me pay .50 for and the cup wasn’t even full not half way full. I wish I I wouldn’t have left a tip on my card. The customer service sucks. We definitely won’t be back at all. My husband cooks way better. We were just trying to support our people businesses. Never again.
