Very authentic Mexican food served here. The tacos are great and the aguas frescas are on point. If you come here, order a “torta de suadero con queso” they are amazing!!

We order the amazonas burger and torta. Those 2 were were with lots of meat, soft bread and the Austin salsa 🤤 was delicious. The torta and the hamburger were loaded with flavor. The gringas de al pastor were also loaded and delicious. The people are always nice and courteous. I would recommend this place as they have authentic Mexican food. Their prices are fair and the food delicious.

By far best breakfast tacos i’ve had in Austin. Best Migas tacos i’ve had. eggs always cooked fluffy and well seasoned. chips are still crispy in the migas. so many salsa options that are all unique and delicious. The non breakfast pastor and steak tacos are solid. and the watermelon agua fresca is great. very clean too w lots of hand sanitizer and paper towels at every table.

It’s one of these place, :worth to drive:: the taste is so tasty and delicious, with good salsas, El pastor tacos, beef tacos, Tortas and the list so long , the important ‘SALSAS’ They have a very good collection of them , :Don’t forget: to add them because it taste delicious :. 👍

This place is delicious. We are visiting from Vancouver Canada and have come here every day of our trip… sometimes twice… yesterday 3 times. We’ve had other great food in Austin too (we have tried elsewhere!) but the Al Pastor (add pineapple!!) and the beef fajita tacos are undeniably the best. The staff is all so friendly and nice as well - I already miss this place! Plus the convenience store next door has any drink and sweet treat you could need!

Wow! Stopped by because was driving with 24 ft trailer and they have plenty of parking. Ordering vegetarian at a Mexican taco truck is high risk but in this case it was HIGH REWARD! Can't think of better veggie tacos from here to Cozumel. Got 3 which was way too much but so good had to devour then all. Friendly, fast service and nice clean eating area.

Another edit: breakfast not as good as before. Down to four stars. This is Tacos Las Amazonas on South Congress. Start with this. Really nice people working here. Covered area to eat. This is the way flour tortillas should be done. Not too thick. Crisped up a bit right before plating. Really, really good. Let me chime in here early...the yellow salsa (not the tomatillo one) is pretty spicy. Beware. I did the chorizo and egg and bacon and egg, as usual. I hate the cheese on these, so asked them not to do it. Really good. Both. The bacon was more substantial than most. Lots of eggs in both. Previous review. NO CHEESE IS KEY. Had chorizo and egg and also sausage and egg. They added cheese to both. Ask them to NOT add cheese. The cheese is pretty bad. Sausage taco is a pass.

Service was great and maybe I'm not giving it a fair shake because I had high expectations after a friend recommended it. I was in town for the weekend and wanted good tacos and a burrito. The food was mid and the hotchata was overpriced. Got 4 tacos and a burrito I paid $37. Left disappointed. Oh yeah we waited nearly 30min.

A good truck located in a gas station on South Congress, they serve okay food. It's hard to believe the pricing but I guess it's the new reality. Mediocre food, high price point. The quesadilla for $9 plus was very average tasting. The salsa offered was not great, expected more. Also ordered the queso birria tacos which had more flavor and taste. Overall, nothing to rave about. A very average food truck serving average Mexican tacos and fare.

I want to love this place, however, my last two experiences were extremely saddening. The portions on the quesadilla and the burrito are very small. The burrito for the same price at taquerias arandinas, and 80% of the other Mexican food trucks in Austin are double the size. Will not be returning sadly as I cannot be sure that I can be full and satisfied at the end of my meal. I don't like leaving reviews like this because I know this is a locally owned business, but I felt like I had to warn those looking for a Mexican food truck to leave them satisfied.

They should just become a ghost kitchen because they prioritize online orders over people that are literally right in front of them. Also extremely overpriced for what you get. Can’t wait til the bubble bursts because these tacos are awful.

Went here for breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning, $4 egg tacos, super super small, maybe half an egg in each taco. Worst taco I’ve ever had. DO NOT GO HERE.
