I love Summer Moon- I’ve been to several locations including the Frisco, Dallas, Fort Worth, TX and Daphne, AL locations but this is the original flagship location and I absolutely loved it!!! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was like a little cave type feeling but it was so cool and the coffee was great!! Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

This is the second Summer Moon Coffee Shop that I have been to, and while that isn’t a large sample set by any means, I’d say this coffee is consistently fantastic. The moon milk that they use to sweeten their lattes is out of this world. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone. As far as this specific location is concerned, parking is tough at times (it is Austin after all), but I was lucky to be able to snag a spot for my stay. I could see it being a bit of an issue during the busier times. The ambiance inside (or outside for their outdoor seating) is great, whether your intention is a social gathering or to get some work done.

Very popular spot tucked in a small shopping center. There isn’t very much parking in the lot, but there is some on the adjacent street. Nice little patio and seating inside. They sell coffee beans, merch and snacks. Coffee was good, but expensive as you add on extras. Staff wasn’t particularly friendly .. but they were slammed so maybe we caught them at a stressful time.

we were told to visit Summer Moon for some of the best coffee in all of the country. i'm not much of a coffee person, but my wife lives and dies by it and she says it was so good. the shop had a hole in the wall, diamond in the rough kind of feel to it. The interior didn't match the exterior. The interior was so nice and clean. the worker was so nice and helpful. what a great place.

Oh. My. God. The other reviewers and Austin-Ians are NOT lying when they say this is the most incredible coffee ever. The moon milk they use is magical indeed I sorely regret getting the special fall pumpkin spice latte instead of the cold brew with the cream foam. That was purely divine and so smooth. They also have bakery items and some gifts, etc. The breakfast tacos are only available until 11 so we just missed them! You HAVE to go here!

The staff here is absolutely amazing, and their excellent customer service made our day. We love the Moon milk! My favorite so far is the Mocha Moon Latte! I've had 3 in the past 24 hours. My logical conclusion: Moon Milk is like Crack and I'm addicted!!! 😍

Summer Moon is awesome. The place is nice, the service is really good and the coffee is FANTASTIC. The only challenge is the parking, but that is easily overlooked given its location on 1st. Just go you will be happy.

This coffee place intrigued me quite a bit. It's called wood-fired because they roast the coffee beans that way. They have a special moon milk and when I checked with them the person was kind enough to give us samples. The description says that it is made up of seven ingredients. It was extremely delicious and very sweet - would qualify to be melted ice-cream.

Overall this place has a great vibe and is fast and consistent. But PLEASE teach the baristas to not steam the living you know what out of the milk 😭. I’m not going to specifically call out the morning barista who does this but sometimes, even when ordering “less hot”, I still cant drink my coffee for over half an hour.

Whenever I can find a local coffee house, I'd always choose that over the big chains. Summer Moon did not disappoint. I ordered the Wintermoon Latte which was an iced drink and it was really good. It was creamy and delicious with the right amount of sweetness for my taste but you still taste that the coffee base had some strength to it without any bitter after taste. Only reason for the 4 star is their sad pastry selection, they had one muffin and one donut on display. Maybe because it was already the afternoon when I visited but the coffee was excellent. Will definitely visit again.
