I had a great experience here our waiter was very generous, I dont remember his name but He was from morroco and explain every detail to me because obviously I am hispanic and the food was just so many flavors ! Unbelievable 🙏🌙. And I felt very welcomed 🙏 🤗 and its such a blessing that I had the opportunity to enjoy great food and arebic music, especially the dancer she is fantastic. I will definitely come back 💓💓💓💓💓

I visited Mezze late at night on Saturday. It wasn’t so crowded inside, but a good crowd on the patio. I had Knafeh and Iraqi tea - absolutely loved it 😍 Hookah was good, and the service was excellent 👍

A delightful middle eastern restaurants and cafe lounge in Austin . Food was very good , had the shawarma and the falafel wraps . Hummus was great as well . The place has freshly service and an assortment of coffee and tea and appetizers. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal and time .

We were worried about coming in 30 min before the kitchen closed, so we called ahead and asked - Sam was so welcoming and invited us on over. Upon arriving, we immediately sat and ordered. Everything came out rather quickly and was FRESH! Man oh man. I don't even know what to say other than I am BLOWN AWAY. Sam was our server. He was so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and engaging. We tried 3 different platters, 4 different sides, 1 appetizer and 2 desserts. It was all ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! It is a 4 hour drive from our home and we will 100% be back again! He also let us know there is live belly dancing on Saturdays! You will not be disappointed with ANY dish you get. It's one of my top favorite restaurants now!

Celebrated the Morocco soccer victory today by having shish tawook, beef shawarma, and fatayer. First time at Mezze. Excellent service and delicious and flavorful food. The beef was tender and the chicken incredibly moist. So tasty. The tea and baklava were on the house to celebrate the team’s win. The baklava is a MUST (flaky, not overly sweet, fresh and lots of nuts) and the tea was hot and tasted fantastic. Will definitely be back to try other dishes as well as have these again.

I want to say thank you for the hospitality from the entire staff here. I flew in Tuesday for a business trip and came in early to get work done. I met Farah, and she took very good care of me! Recommended some items and specials off the menu and was very attentive to my needs in the few hours I was there! The following day, I met Adel, and he and I had great conversations snout the business, he hookah industry and most importantly, the atmosphere at Mezze Cafe. He walks around and checks with all the tables to ensure they are offering the best customer service. The next time a visited, I met with Hussam. Also another great time and great convos as they attended to customers and myself. He recommended the Knafe- and I will give you a tip, the best I have had in my life. There is something about the texture and the taste that I will never forget. I can still taste it! Bottom line- the attentiveness From the staff I met along with others that were working those days was phenomenal. It’s rare to get that much attention and care at a lounge. As a previous lounge owner, I pay very close attention to details, I’m very particular on how I examine customer service and standards. A+ thank you to the owner and the amazing team for creating this atmosphere.

After a long plane ride over, this was the perfect little place for a beautiful meal, packed with flavour, authenticity and simple fresh ingredients. Definitely don’t miss out on the baklava - THE best and softest and moist and buttery flakey little pillow of heaven. Enjoy it with their coffee or black tea. You will not be disappointed … This place doesn’t compromise either - they get the food AND the hookah right. The owners and staff are so accommodating and friendly, so it was an absolute pleasure. Great patio atmosphere too — would be cool for hosting and outdoor function or event. Planning on going back once more before leaving!

Such an amazing experience. We showed up the weekend after storm Uri shut Texas down. As soon as we seen the photos of the food we had to try it and didn't want to go anywhere else. We waited for the kitchen to open an hour and it was so worth it!!! The food was better than what we expected and the service was absolutely incredible. Sam was amazing and we will definitely be back. We genuinely appreciate you and your amazing attitude during such a difficult time. No water or power stayed at a near by hotel and were so happy we stumbled upon this gem. We will be back!

WOW! awesome Mediterranean dishes, authentic and so freakin flavorful and everything made in house. The dressing for the Fattoush salad is the very best ever ever! It is sweet, spicy, acidic, pomegranate molasses and sumac spice (Made from the dried and ground berries of the wild sumac flower, a tangy spice with a sour, acidic flavor reminiscent of lemon juice) The dessert- homemade Knafeh - oh man I am in love with it! Warm and crisped on a slow burning fire, rose-water syrup! Obsessed! Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, Tabbouleh, Falafel, Dolma exceptional and fresh!

The atmosphere was generally nice, it was indeed a lounge. Waiter was very nice and funny. There was a lot of cats in the area, so keep that in mind for those of you with allergies. The food vs pricing was not worth it but I think it’s done that way to combat how long each person stays there. Also it’s BYOB with a charge depending on how many people. They kept the hookah going constantly for us and was a decent experience.

So I read all the negative reviews before visiting this cafe because I was trying out a new hookah place in Austin for the first time. The ambience, service, food and the waiters get 10/10. The music however was a bit too loud for my liking, the hookah was also not very great I’d give it 7/10. Overall, the place is actually nice, chill and very lively. And oh, the belly dancer’s performance was remarkable. A must visit place for the kind of ambience they have.

There were some good food options. We ordered the vegetarian platter. Some items good. Some not so good. There’s a stray cat in the dining area. Also someone was able to bring in a 100 lb. dog and sit right next to us while we ate.

Great atmosphere and food was good. Only shady part was that they charge you some sort of service fee without mentioning it so when we got our bill it was higher than expected which kind of rubbed the group the wrong way. Parking was also very difficult to find. Response: We didn’t see the disclaimer, but regardless we only had a total of 6 people at the high point and even less than that throughout the night so not sure why it was still charged.

Very disappointing. The music was so loud that my waiter got my order wrong because he couldn't hear what I was saying to him, apparently. (And it wasn't good music.) They didn't have the dish that I ordered, which was also a major disappointment. Most annoying, however, was that we were starving, so we ordered an appetizer to have while waiting for our entrees. They ended up taking forever, and then bringing the appetizer together with the entree, defeating the whole purpose of ordering an appetizer, so we just sat there hungry for like half an hour. It was also hot and stuffy in there because they use fans instead of AC. The mint lemonade drink was good, however.
