Hands down the best Bar I went to while visiting Austin for a weekend. My friends and I ended the night here and I had a NY sour. Wow perfect flavor. This is a mix of a craft cocktail and dive bar feel. Perfect place to have a few drinks. Tons of seating when we went and the bartender was super nice.

Bartenders work hard do a good job but would like for them to acknowledge patrons when they walk up to order. Say hi, and you'll be with them shortly. Most places are like this so this is part for the course.

One of my fave local bars, chill place, shuffleboard, great staff and cocktails (try the Frozen Mule). OG jukebox, and the patio area is nice

Maybe it's just me but I am most certain that most cocktails are typically filled closer to the brim, like our new york sour we got but both bartenders made them entirely different and only half the glass was full, maybe since it was $3 off they took that literally within the cocktail. Needs some better bartenders. Edit: It was two dudes, one standing around and looking like it was first day bartending and the other like they just gave him the keys for the first time.. nice peeps just horrible cocktail makers.

Honestly loved this place but bartenders however now a days seem to have a power trip. The bathroom in the ladies room, toilet wasn’t working, very clogged. Kindly was trying to let the bartender or bar back know and the bartender was very rude. Is that is how you treat people, by being hostile when your holding your ear and I’m trying to inch toward you to tell you what is going on with your bathroom. Not intoxicated btw just can’t fathom how it’s okay to be inconsiderate. Your toilet wasn’t working. It wasn’t flushing at all. I understand bartenders deal with a lot of drunks but to be sober and have someone speak to you in an ill manor is mind boggling. Do better honestly

Im just writing this to warn people of the ridiculous parking enforcement where if you’re not careful your car will be booted. I was here on a Tuesday night, the bar was pretty dead outside of a few other parties. First of all there is just no need to have paid parking for this bar during that time. It’s Tuesday night, nothing is open in the lot besides…the bar. Second the signage is not immediately obvious either, I assumed I could just park anywhere like any other business on South Lamar. Turns out there is paid parking, my car was booted after an hour of being a paid customer. While I was able to work something out with the bartender (nice lady, made a great cocktail by the way) to get compensated for it, the whole situation just felt unnecessary. Other than that BS, the drinks are good, but pricey and also mine were like halfway filled? I don’t know if that’s intentional but if I order a $15 drink, I kind of expect it to be close to the brim of the glass. I wish they had some better patio seating though, where the music was also unnecessarily loud outside.

I’ve been to this establishment many times and have always had positive experiences—until last night. I was sitting in the bar area with a friend, catching up, when I realized my phone had died. I politely asked the bartender if there was a charger I could briefly borrow, as my car key is linked to my phone. She said no, which is completely fine. What was not fine was the way it was communicated. Her tone of voice and response was unnecessarily rude, including a remark that I should have charged my phone beforehand. As someone who works in customer-facing roles, I found this interaction disappointing and unprofessional. There was no need for the condescending tone, and the attitude. Shortly after, another guest at the bar kindly helped with a portable charger. During this time, the bartender repeatedly stared at us, which made me feel uncomfortable. I was simply there enjoying a quiet moment with an old friend and did nothing to warrant that kind of treatment. I would strongly encourage this establishment to provide additional customer service training, as kindness and professionalism go a long way. This experience was truly out of character compared to my past visits, and unfortunately, it left a very negative impression.

Stood at the bar for 10 minutes without acknowledgment. Not busy. Watched one Bartender clearly serve other guests before us, when we’d been waiting longer. Other blonde bartender taking shots and chatting instead of serving guests.

Good thing the soft-spoken teenager was there to charge $75 and un-boot it, and the nice bartendress gave us a check for $75, but... THEY WILL BOOT YOUR CAR
