It is really good. Have to try the stir fried noodle🍜, it was really good! Also try the spicy edamame 🫛. Vegan noodle 🍲 is also really good! There is a tv📺 going on which is fun to watch! And you can watch live noodle making while you wait for your food. They also give you scissors✂️ and kids👫 chopsticks! 🥢
Simple awesome!! Lots of Asian dishes to offer. In the domain near Pink parking. They also have part of their kitchen in glass so you can sit and watch them hand make the noodles. We like to go and select a few dishes and share. Just a very nice ans fun place to go. Very tasty! (Hint it is just behind the raised patio wine and vine bar).
This was our third time dining at Xian Sushi and Noodle, and it just keeps getting better! It was our second visit to the Domain location, and we’ve also tried their Round Rock branch — both consistently deliver great food and friendly service. For appetizers, we ordered the Spicy Lobster Dumplings and the Spicy Chili Wontons — both packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. The dumplings were rich and satisfying, and the wontons were bathed in a delicious chili oil that we couldn’t get enough of. For mains, I had the Red Braised Beef Noodle Soup with triangle noodles — the broth was deep and savory, and the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender. My husband had the Tonkotsu with Rice, which was crispy, well-seasoned, and super satisfying. Our son enjoyed the Chicken Stir Fried Noodle, which was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Extra points for being dog-friendly — they even brought out a water bowl for our pup, which we really appreciated. Always a solid choice for a family meal. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
Absolutely obsessed with this place! As someone who lived in Thailand for 5 years, I’m very picky when it comes to Thai food — and let me tell you, their Pad Thai is a dream! Flavorful, balanced, just the right amount of spice… and don’t even get me started on the dumplings — soft, juicy, and totally addictive. It brought back so many memories of my life in Thailand. So happy I finally found a spot that tastes like home!
The Domain location: ALWAYS great food and atmosphere. Service is impeccable. Fried rice is too die for, along with other items. Cost is family affordable and huge servings to share with others. Family/couple/self oriented. A place one can go and feel comfortable eating alone, and so forth. I visit it every time I am in Austin and it is usually my first place to dine, in other words, it is always my first thing on the list to go to.
It was a Chinese restaurant and overall it was quite good. The atmosphere wasn’t bad and the space felt comfortable. However, there was a strange smell inside that didn’t go away during our visit. I’m not sure what the reason was, but I hope it can be addressed. On the positive side, the food was very filling and the portions were very large, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the experience!
I was craving comfort food in the middle of it all—-too many shoppers on Mother’s Day weekend and I had to eat Asian food. I’m so glad I gave in and saw this corner food place right next to Zara. I got two kinds of dumplings and sampler sashimi, and miso soup. Quick service, seemingly less staff, clean enough, yummy food and affordable, How I want it!
The food is always amazing and while the service can be hit or miss based on a few factors like staffing and how busy they are but I have been coming here for 5 years and never leave hungry or unsatisfied ever. The best hand pulled noodles I’ve had in Austin, TX also the appetizers are all incredible
We’re fans of the Xian location on 51st so decided to try out this location in the Domain. Overall it’s a solid place for noodles, dim sum, and sushi. We were surprised by the Dan Dan noodles as it wasn’t spicy as usual and had more broth than expected. Similar prices for decent portion sizes. If we’re in the mood for this type of food and are in the domain area we’d come back and try out other sushi rolls and noodles!
Food was ok but place looked kind of unclean. I would love to give a huge shout-out to our server. We opted to order through our phones, and our server noticed some discrepancies in our order regarding allergies. Some dishes we indicated peanut allergies and others we didn't so she came to check on us. She also clarified if I meant to order a children's portion and informed me that it doesn't come with any veggies and I ordered double meat!
First of all, service was decent and very normal. Quite good that i was given a caraf of water so i don’t need to wait just to drink. It was a quiet day, even during lunch time, slow as well. The atmosphere however, kinda dark and dim or gloomy. It’s either their theme or the light hadn’t been changed long ago, no idea. Food side. Menu is quite a lot variety, but as first time customer, nobody bother to ask or give recommendations even when i said oh it’s my first time here. Server just hand me the menu and went merry way to another table. I ended up pick random meal that sounds quite good based on my experience. Lunch box and their Xian noodle. Lunch box was quite good portions and mix. I picked mapo tofu for the protein. I like mapo tofu, but not this one. Barely any minced meat inside and taste weird. Flavor? Way too much peppercorn and not even spicy, feels liquidy, not thick. Just weird. As for the Xian noodles, oh my!!! Way too much cilantro and star anise, which those two were all i taste and ver overpowered of any other flavor. The bean sprouts feels old as well and kinda sour. My husband spit over 6 pcs of star anise. No balance at all. Price were decent for domain location.
I want to preface this by saying I am NOT a hater. My friend and I came here not knowing what eat but we made up our minds quickly due to the large and seemingly good menu. My friend ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried-rice, whereas I got Tangos Roll and another Spicy Tempura roll. We both also got milk teas with boba, but were incredibly disappointed with the cold and hard tapioca balls. Hey that’s on us! This place isn’t a boba shop. When it came to the food, the chicken was a little rubberish, if you get my drift. As for the sushi, it wasn’t really spicy - but the fish was fresh, I can admit. Overall I should’ve just gotten the noodles- and I think you should too tbh. No hate to our server or staff they were incredibly kind, but overall rate is a 3/5.
I must emphasize that the servicer was nice, but the service was SLOW. There were only about two servers working at the time, so I don't blame them. It took a while until someone came to ask for our drinks, and by that time, we were also ready to order. Overall, the whole sit-down took almost 1 hour from sitting down to eating the last bite of dessert. Also a bit pricey for small dishes like appetizers and desserts, for very small portions (4 dumplings for ~$8 deal). The main dish prices seemed reasonable at first, until the food came and I saw the middling size of the plate. No complaints with the flavor. The tea tasted good, but the teapot spout had a poor quality. The plates are a bizarre shape, and I wish they were just circular instead of small squares. There also wasn't any complimentary white rice, so you know this place isn't worth 5 stars. I enjoyed the murals on the wall a lot, but we weren't seated next to them so I couldn't even see them.
Tom Yum broth itself was good, but the chicken protein option was unseasoned. Husband ordered the General Tsos, he said it tasted like ketchup and the fried rice was flavorless. When he added Soy Sauce from the bottle at the table, he said it made the rice taste like cheese. I smelled it and it absolutely smelled like a bag of cheese. Absolutely bizzare. The tequila sunrise tasted watered down. Not worth the $60USD spent.
Tom yum noodle soup is too soft, overcooked, and flavorless. We added chili oil and mixed in the broth from the Dan Dan soup which barely made it better. Dan Dan soup was okay. Pineapple fried rice was bland and tough, had to ask for salt and add it myself. Same with crispy tofu, but with the crispy tofu I liked that it was bland, I dipped it in chili oil. Sushi was good! Get sushi if you go, best option. Boba was not good. Bad texture, syrup flavor. Two servers. The one with the reindeer ears was difficult and didn’t split the ramen for me like they did for my cousin. The other waitress was great, very patient.
Sushi -out of control roll- was awesome. Soup dumplings were ok Beef broth soup with triangle noodles sucked. The broth was like water, no flavor. Noodles had an odd consistency. Sesame balls are huge and yummy. Overall it was an ok experience. Staff seemed nice but overworked.
This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I can’t even decide what was worse - the service or the food. Our meals came out cold. We sent them back, and both times they returned still cold. Completely unacceptable. The waitress was rude and inattentive. At one point she brought us to-go boxes while we were still eating, without even asking if we were finished. She also said she would bring a to-go cup and never did. It felt like she simply didn’t want to do her job. We had to leave our table multiple times just to get basic help. On top of that, the food tasted awful - like it had been sitting around far too long. This place needs serious management intervention to fix both the kitchen and the service if they expect to stay in business. If you value your time, your money, and your health, go somewhere else.
I’m honestly still in shock writing this. On February 26, 2026 at 6:40 pm, we were halfway through our Tom Yum soup when we found a small cockroach in it. Absolutely horrifying. We immediately told our server, who silently took the bowl away and later said the manager was “fixing the check.” The manager never came out to apologize or even speak to us. Even worse, they initially tried to charge us for a sushi roll because we had already eaten it , after we had just found a cockroach in our food. Eventually they removed everything from the bill, but the lack of accountability and basic apology was incredibly disappointing. Finding a cockroach in your soup is bad enough, how this was handled made it worse. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both their food safety standards and customer service response. I won’t be coming back.
I was not content that the happy hour which is advertised on their menu does not apply from the hours of 7:00pm-8:30pm which should be stated or explained by the waiter/staff. It left a terrible taste in my mouth, and on top of that the appetizers were definitely not worth the prices advertised. The total price came out to $89 dollars and look at the side of rice, are you FREAKING kidding me? Guys, just go to Panda Express. Overall, a very expensive mediocre restaurant. Would not recommend to anyone. Do not come to this restaurant. SAVE YOUR MONEY, in this economy, this is absolutely unacceptable.
