Great dining experience. We were given the option to have dinner on the beach ( $5.00 fee). We'll worth it for the view. Ordered the Duck cigars ( duck cooked inside fried wonton with a plum sauce, delicious). Dinner was the ribeye steak with rice pilaf. My wife had the scallops with a bake potato. We were both extremely happy with our food, the staff, and our overall dining experience. Highly recommend them.

My first time here. I'm a fan of Filet Mignon, and WOW! First, let's talk about the view, I mean really, it's hard to compete with the view of the harbor in Catalina. As you can see, I was seated next to the window. Next, Johnny (sp?) came to my table, super friendly, very knowledgeable. He told me the specials, and I asked a couple of questions, and went with the Filet. I also tried the strawberry lemonade, it was delicious. The food came quickly, cooked to my liking, and let me tell you, the seasoning was PERFECT! SO good!! Johnny made sure I was good, refilled my glass, and everything was GREAT! This was a WINNER!

We were in town for the yearly harbor cleanup as well as my birthday weekend and came here for my birthday dinner. They had an amazing Berramundi dish of tge evening that was absolutely amazing and something I had never had which was even better. The service was great,the inside was quaint and beautifully decorated with a phenomenal view, food incredible, and my husband said they definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol in his long Island iced tea! Highly highly recommend, definitely an establishment not to be missed while visiting.

Johnnie Q gave great service. Cocktails were on point will be back again. Rode our jet ski from Redondo to Catalina so was hungry and food was perfect 10/10 would recommend to family and friends

We went to Steve's for our 10th wedding anniversary dinner. This restaurant I will say has the most amazing and best food on the island that we have tried. Our server Johnny was amazing. Tentative and always had perfect timing on when to ask if food was good or if we needed something else. We wanted to try the oysters however Johnny suggested we try the scallops. That is what we ended up doing and had the most amazing scallops. They were so good that we ordered a second round after we had our dinner. I went for the catch of the Day which was white sea bass, my wife had the steak and lobster. And all of the food came out beyond expectations. The atmosphere was nice, great view overlooking the water! One of the best dining experiences we have had!

We were lucky enough to get a table overlooking the street! It was so beautiful and a great end to a perfect birthday weekend for me! The food was AMAZING! I wish they used real lemon juice in their lemon drop martinis, but it was still very tasty! Joey our server was very nice and efficient! The food was PIPING hot when it came out and the crème brule was excellent! Wonderful meal!

My husband and I were looking for a nice fancy/romantic night out because we are in Catalina for our honeymoon. A lady previously had recommended us this restaurant and it definitely did not disappoint!! 🍔🍝 They have a variety of plates and everything looked so delicious. I went ahead and ordered the pasta of the day and oh goodness it was SOOOOOO good!!! It comes with jumbo shrimps🍤 but I ordered mine without. 😁 I would definetly come back to this restaurant if I am ever back to the island and I will recommend it to my friends and family 🫶🏻

Be prepared to spend a decent amount eating here. The food was presented beautifully. They do have a decent vegetarian/vegan menu which was nice. Great kids menu. Our server (I think Johnny) was really great! He made our dinner quite enjoyable if I do say so. The service was quick and top tier. My son loved the pasta of the day. He said it was his favorite thing he ate on the island. The upstairs view near the windows was really nice too. Great ambiance . My fiancé was a bit warm and would have preferred to have cool air, a fan or ac but I didn’t mind one bit. I would go back again.

We had the Duck Cigars and the Ponzu Scallops for appetizers, both of which were amazing, sadly I forgot to take pictures. For dinner, I had the Scallops Avalon and my husband had the Sea Bass which was a special. Spectacular is the only word.

My friend and I went there for dinner. Service was superb. We ordered shrimp and scallops dishes. They tasted very good but not super good. The best feature of this place is the amazing view! Overall it’s a very nice place to have a relaxing dinner.

This place was TOP TIER! From the service down to the food was exceptional. Our server Johnny was nothing short of amazing! Everything he recommended was perfect 👌🏽 this is a MUST TRY if you’re on the island!!!!! Go check them out and tell Johnny “Nika” sent you ;)

Visiting Catalina for a three day weekend and of all three dinners that we had while on the island this was our favorite. It’s right across from Avalon Bay so you can dine staring at the water, which is a lovely option. If possible try to sit at one of the tables by the windows which have the best views. It’s located up on the second floor so you have good views of the entire bay. Inside is quite large and they have many different seating options available for many different size parties. Our server Juan was very polite and everything that we ordered arrived very fast. For our dinner, we ordered the Artichokes and the Wedge Salad to start, which were both nice and a good sized portion. I wish the Wedge would have bacon with it as that is the standard version but still this one was very tasty and a good start to the meal. For our dinner, we chose the Shrimp & Chips which was very good and had very large, plump shrimp. For myself, I chose the special of the day, which was the Barramundi cooked in a lemon caper sauce and honestly really loved it. It had some great flavors and it was very tender and cooked perfectly. I got a baked potato on the side, which was quite small, but still had nice flavors. Overall, we had a great dining experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the island and I would certainly dine here again next time I visit Catalina.

The service is excellent. The food is delicious. The place is pleasant. And if you're lucky enough to get a table by the window, you'll also have a stunning view.

Sat at the bar to watch Ram’s game. Food was excellent. Drinks were generous. Service was great. All the staff treated us like family. If we weren’t watching the game we would have gone for one of many tables with an Avalon Bay view.

The food was so very good. I am vegetarian, non-dairy, and it's hard to find options sometimes. There were so many options. We had the sourdough bread appetizer, with drinks. My sister had the pasta special with shrimp, and she couldn't stop raving about how good it was. I had the cauliflower steak option with baked potato and veggies. It was so very good. The butter and sour cream was vegan, along with the rest of the dinner. I cleaned my plate!!! I am so full, but it was so good. The staff, especially our waiter, Bryce, was very attentive, and all the staff was fantastic. I will definitely be coming here again.

Sat at the bar to watch Ram’s game. Food was excellent. Drinks were generous. Service was great. All the staff treated us like family. If we weren’t watching the game we would have gone for one of many tables with an Avalon Bay view.

Atmosphere was a little tight, but pretty. It was a packed Saturday night. Food was ok. Steak was great but I don’t recommend the dessert.

We had a great experience celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious ,we ordered the tomahawk steak for dinner and it did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a good steak on the island, I would definitely recommend this spot. The atmosphere was a bit laid back, not super fancy or upscale, which I was originally hoping for, but it seems like that’s just the vibe of the island overall. Either way, Steve’s Steakhouse delivered exactly what we needed for a memorable night

Food was very mediocre. You walk in expecting a delicious 5 star experience based off the price and atmosphere. But in all honesty i prefer Coney Island down the road. And don’t get me started on the long wait. Took us over 1.5 hours to finish. The water as well, some of the worst ive had on island. Staff were very friendly though.

Fish & chips were quite bland and mushy. Dirty martini was vodka with an olive, no real care there. Service was… efficient, but not in a good way. Felt fairly unattended. Took a few tries to get water. Was taken aback by how the martini was itemized, with incremental prices for shot+upcharge+dirty. Server said it was the cheapest in town ($20). After, went down the street and bought one for cheaper. Overall, the restaurant performs like it’s the only place in town, not trying to be great. I left full, it was ok, and that’s about it.

DO NOT CELEBRATE IMPORTANT EVENTS HERE! ESPECIALLY A WEDDING, WARNING ALL BRIDES!! The owner Steve and Bryce, the son, will not work with you unless you communicate how they prefer. Steve is “old school” and will not email back and forth AND will not understand if you have a real job and that is the main preference of communication for the PAYING party. Steve will treat you like a child, as you will see on the transcripts of my voicemails from him. Bryce is an overgrown Frat boy that doesn’t no professionalism if you shoved it down his throat. He has no qualms about having an angry conversation and raising his voice to the bride in front of an entire room full of your loved ones and you have to ask him if he wants to talk more privately. He apologizes to the groom and never said a thing to how rude he was w the bride. We had the room from 4:30-7…..why, tell me why appetizers would only start being offered at 6pm….when I asked for them to be on the table so guest could eat when they arrive. Most if not all had to box up food to take it so the didn’t miss the last Express boat. I truly hate the entire team for ruining my reception. We spent $5000 for 30 people and it was the worst experience of my life. It felt like a terrible fever dream. Added pic of proof of my event. They are soooo overrated!!! And it makes me sad because I’m a regular to the island. Part of my new family even dates one of the waiters here, who was not involved at all with this event. I didnt even know this until the week of…but it would have been nice to be treated “like family” in the general since. Definitely not their family but A Family. Worst Experience ever…had to wait this long because I thought the anger would die down but obviously it had not. Just trying to save other couples from such a money drain w a terrible experience attached. Thanks Steve and Bryce especially for wasting our money and tainting on of my most treasured memories, my wedding on my favorite island!
