I agree that the prices are high. My lunch was $22 and i ordered a beef patty and stewed goat. I will say that the portion were large and i will eat this over 2-3 meals. The curried goat was fresh amd delicious. The rice and peas were good, but could have used some more flavor. But as an accompaniment to the goat, it was just fine. I really liked the gravy with the goat. The plantains were a bit cold - whatever. I would have liked the hot sauce to have more zip. I liked the beef patty but wanted more spice as well. I enjoyed my meal and will come back occasionally.

I've been ordering food for quite a while and I found their food is very well cooked and delicious, deliveries are always on time. The only fault I find is it seems when I order a large serving it's packed in a medium container, food all clottered together. Other than that. Everything else is acceptable.

Customer service was great, usually in this kind of food service the customer service persons is not the most pleasant. But that was not the case on Saturday. They were very attentive and went out of their way to accommodate my request . Definitely, I was very impressed with the service and the patties I bought and would revisit the restaurant. Thank you.

My experience was okay. The customer service was friendly and professional. I had the oxtails with rice and peas. They were pretty good. My rice was slightly overcooked but still good. They have parking and a drive-through. I have always preferred the experience of going into the restaurant to order. The option is there if you choose not to go inside. The con for the parking for me is one way in and one way out. You have to drive around the restaurant to get out, and if there is a car in the drive-through, it's a tight turn depending on your car.

This food wasn’t good at all I’m About to throw $60 in the garbage the fish and the chicken is so salty the rice has an odor I never smelled before carrots are hard. I would never return here just bad business. Although the service is nice and respectful food is not what I expected from A Caribbean restaurant.

Today got breakfast and look at the little amount of Codfish I got. A little child’s portion. Definitely not worth the trip, it really depends who is servicing you. I have been coming since openned, and recommended spot to several people but this lady every time she serves me I get this tiny amount. This is the last time I go here. Woman serving me didn’t listen to what I was ordering, it was 11:30am and she said not serving breakfast anymore then turns around and gives me breakfast but such a TINY portion. The $$ I paid wasn’t tiny so why the portion soo Little, just smh. See pics below not enough salt fish to even finish eating with the 3 pieces of provision served with it. What a waste of my time, totally DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!

First time coming here and it’ll definitely be my last. Walked in and was met with an attitude right away. I said I was just looking at the menu and the staff member rolled their eyes and walked off. When I was ready to order, I overheard the cashier telling the server I was “taking my time.” At that point I just said never mind and started to leave, and they all laughed together like it was funny. I’m not spending my money somewhere that treats customers like that. There are plenty of other places that actually appreciate your business. I wouldn’t recommend anyone eat here either.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the customer service my family and I experienced at the Golden Krust location in Plainfield, New Jersey. During our visit, we were met with unprofessional attitudes from staff members that were both unwelcoming and disrespectful. Simple interactions were handled with visible irritation, poor communication, and a lack of courtesy. As paying customers, we expected a basic level of respect and professionalism, which unfortunately was not demonstrated. The overall experience reflected poor customer service standards and negatively impacted what should have been an enjoyable visit. Golden Krust has a strong brand reputation, which is why this experience was especially disappointing and inconsistent with what I have come to expect from your company. I am bringing this to your attention not simply to complain, but with the hope that this location can receive proper management review, customer service retraining, and accountability to ensure future guests are treated with respect. Thank you for taking the time to review this matter. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this complaint and any steps that will be taken to address the issues at the Plainfield, NJ location.

This is my first time EVER eating at this restaurant and from walking in the door it was the COMPLETE WORST experience. The women had the worst attitudes and very disrespectful as if coming to this restaurant was a mistake that I’ll never spend my money AGAIN. Sitting there eating my food and listening to them being rude and yelling at other customers is horrible. Please retrain the staff.

I went to this location to order food for my family. My bill came up to over $120 but that wasn’t the issue. They have a drive through, so that where I went to place my order. There was a women with blond hair who refused to give me her name as well as the manager’s contact information. She initially refused to complete my order until another coworker intervened stating that my order was too large to be complete via the drive through. Not once did I get disrespectful with this women. But I will not be ordering here again. The service is absolutely disgusting and the food was mediocre at best.
