cold brew so smooth (++ cool indie vintage single stall bathroom)
Great neighborhood coffee shop. Very good coffee at a reasonable price.
Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks and snacks. Nice vibe.
Delicious coffee and pastries! Our go to place in our neighborhood
Nice staff many snack options LOVE this cafe
Loved the aura! The man behind the register was really sweet!
Lovely little coffee shop. delicious cold brew.
Nice, quiet place. Had the matcha and it was amazing.
Cool 😎 place
One of the best coffee shops in the area
Great coffee In my favorite neighborhood!!
Hooray, a real alternative to the unfriendly place nearby! Friendly and tasty!
Great owner/managers, good coffee.
Coffee is great! Hot cocoa yummy!!
So friendly! Loved my chai :)
Good hot chocolate and nice decorations
Good coffee and a nice little place
Best coffee in Windsor Terrace!
Homey, friendly, good wifi.
Cozy cafe pet friendly
My favorite coffee joint in the neighborhood. Dog friendly. The rhubarb scone, only available weekdays, is amazing.
What are the things that make a coffee shop great? The baristas? The ambiance? The coffee? This place has it all!
A nice chilled out place, their cookies are amazing and the people there are all nice. I would recommend coming here if you want to study and relax.
Cute coffee shop. Has an outdoor space and books and games for adults and kids. Relaxing vibe and the coffee was good.
Very lovely little coffee shop. Even though I wish my chai was hotter I liked overall experience, pastries was good and service was excellent
Fabulous spot for coffee, mocha hot chocolate and pastries! Clean, friendly, sophisticated atmosphere. Must go to!!
delicious cold brew and best s’mores cookie i’ve ever had :)
Great coffee, fresh high quality pastries, friendly staff, lovely decor. What more could you want?!
The line moves relatively fast for a one man operation. Which is in itself noteworthy for a coffee shop, but the drinks are also perfectly balanced.
Great place, good drinks, amazing pastries and cookies, good place to get some work done and dog friendly
Reasonable prices, good coffee, warm & pleasant decor--what more could you ask for? And friendly staff too!
Hands down the absolute best coffee I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!!
The staff are friendly and my kids love the delicious food! They have great lemonade, too.
Great decor and coffee. The WiFi works great. Not crowded. 5 stars
Great coffee, I like Late and they are making there very delicious!
Good coffee, great food, wonderfully charming staff, good atmosphere (most of the time)
Lovely and calm atmosphere. An excellent place to get excellent coffee.
Quiet, clean, natural lighting, good coffee, quality internet connection and a great place to get work done!
Very nice place. Good coffee and pastry + friendly staff
great place to grab delicious brew and always a place available to sit and sip
Yummy scone. Lovely tea. Cute atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Good coffee, take credit cards and the interior is awesome. + WiFi 👍🏼
I Love this place. Great coffee, always made with good vibes and and air of friendship. The view from the big front window of the shop is a beautiful old church, and the music is great. To me, a Coffee shop is more than just a place for takeaway or someplace to check my email, its a hub of conversation and good will for the neighborhood. A very New York place!
Best coffee in Windsor Terrace/Kensington! Oslo Coffee on tap -- very solid coffee, first of all, and then of the decaf espresso I've had near and far, I'm SO relieved that it's as good as it is when I find myself watching my caffeine (grab yourself a Loopy Duke and tell 'em I said hi). Cold brew is also quite good. There are pastries, including gluten free ones, and other snacks available -- I've heard good things, but with my diet I can just have the applesauce packets to go for now 😅 LOVE MY BARISTAS!! Stellar service; best tunes/vibes. Tip them well! Mmm what else OH, MY QUEERLY BELOVED: nonbinary-inclusive flag flies from its teeny pole, I was so pleased 💛🤍💜🖤💕🤍💙❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 we are So Welcome™️ here ✌️ And yer little dogs, too, who get a free treat at the door when they visit 🐶 There's a buy 10 full price, get #11 free punch card available, too. This is the coffee shop I've always wanted in my neighborhood ever since I moved to NYC, and every one of the thirteen places I've lived in this city has never held up until this one. 💖 When there's more to add, I'll be back!
Great addition to the neighborhood. Cold brew with Oslo Coffee is smooth- didn't need anything added (though I actually prefer it a little stronger.) Fresh bagels from La Bagel Delight besides fresh biscuits and other pastries. Very inviting atmosphere with lots of natural light and a somewhat Caribbean feel. Free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets. Friendly staff.
I stopped in here to welcome the spot to the neighborhood and at ~11:30am on a Sunday, it was pretty full of people enjoying coffee and working on their laptops. The staff was super friendly and commended me on my decision to have a brownie. The brownie? AMAZING. Note: Entrance is now wheelchair accessible with an added ramp.
I’ve been coming to this cafe since it opened and you could say I’m a big fan. I found the people seem friendlier and I prefer the Oslo beans to other options in the neighborhood. Also, the various snacks/treats are great and I’m always tempted to eat too many.
The servers are very nice. I my wife and I love their Cappuccino coffee with oatmilk and salted caramel Their pastries 🍰 are also delicious Love the atmosphere
This place has a bit of a homespun art cafe vibe, which may not be for everyone but is very much to my taste. Lovely friendly staff. Good coffee.
Usually bone quiet which is unique these days. Perfect for working, reading, writing, or contemplating. Occasionally there will be music but they are approachable in terms of turning it down if you want. Lovely neighborhood spot where you can chat with your community members or have some solitude depending on your needs on the given day.
Cute coffee place with super friendly service. Lots of regular customers. The lemon pound cake was delicious
Great little coffee shop in Windsor terrace. Wayyyy better coffee than some of the other in the area! Awesome baristas, beans and pastries.
My favorite coffee shop. Kind staff, good coffee, tasty snacks. A wonderful place that feels like a part of the neighborhood.
I live in the area and love this spot! They're always on point with their coffee and are super friendly. Been dropping by for years, never a bad experience.
I love this local coffee shop! Their Italian cookies are so good! Just wish it was bigger but I don’t mind when their service and coffee is good!
Finally, a reasonably priced coffee shop to have a cup of coffee, espresso, tea or even cold drink. They have pastries, bagels and other items you can munch on. They also accept cards, which is super convenient!
Really nice small coffee shop. The late was delicious. I also grabbed a bagel with cream cheese. Really friendly staff!
Very cute place and friendly staff. Coffee, chai, and cookies all very good!
There are a lot of cafes in NYC most of them worry about their appearance then the customer or more importantly the customers experience. I think I'm lucky to have found a local coffee shop that has all the elements I have been searching for, such as a cozy/quiet neighborhood, outside seating, love for dogs, and putting the customer first. Accepting, caring, and appreciative. Additionally, the customers who come in are friendly, family oriented, and very nice people in general. It's a stress free environment. This cafe isn't just for coffee. It's a cafe experience. You can sit and do your work but still look up and experience life around you. I like this place. I know you will too. One very important note: the attending/barista has a great friendly personality and a great positive aura.
Service was outstanding! Amazing espresso drink! The inside was warm and inviting. Such a great place!
A quiet coffee shop with a great atmosphere. I got a cup of coffee which was very decent and was served with great service. The ambiance is incredible. There are a couple of comfortable seats around the cafe and they have free WiFi. I met the owner and he is one of the sweetest people I met. He like to accommodate his customers and to make sure they have a good time at his cafe. Overall it's a nice place to sit and work or just relax with a good cup of coffee.
Small, cozy cafe with great coffees. The barista was super kind! The place has seating but it’s small. They have bar seating. On weekdays, it’s quieter during school hours. They have wifi and outdoor seating too. Prices were similar to other cafes in the area.
The pastries are absolutely amazing and the coffee is good too! The aesthetic is cute and there is some indoor seating available (though it gets pretty cramped).
Good little coffee spot ☕️ 👌
A cute little neighborhood spot serving coffee and craft espresso beverages and some food items! The morning pastries are always fresh and delicious! The barista was very pleasant.

We are big fans of Windsor coffee. Coffee is tasty, pastries are fresh (oh man the cookies) and it is cozy. What we love the most are the baristas though - couldn't be more friendly (also to kids!) and professional. Always walking out the store with good coffee and a smile! Thank you Windsor coffee please stay in our neighborhood forever!
I went several years ago and had my first matcha latte here. It was so good! This weekend, I randomly stopped by and we had a deliciously perfect hot dark chocolate, a subtlety balanced lavender latte, and yummy not-too-sweet apricot cookies. Everything was reasonably priced. If you prefer tasty, high-quality snacks and beverages rather than overly sweet, artificial flavors, then this is a spot for you too. The server behind the counter was a sincere delight - friendly & warm, which made for a wonderful experience. Will def add this coffee shop to my regular rotation of neighborhood destinations.
Delicious pastries, many (all?) from the first rate Colson bakery. Yummy coffee, too. Service is friendly and welcoming. It can sometimes be crowded
This is my go to coffee shop, and it's amazing! The baristas are very nice, the coffee is very good and the cup is a reasonable size, and the pastries are great. (The peanut butter cup cookie is one of the best things there) The prices are fairly reasonable, and the pastries are not just the same old thing, there's a good variety. A small location, but the atmosphere and playlist are nice. Points for the public bathroom as well! Total recommend!
You guys are absolutely lovely! Thank you so very much for offering vegan muffins, as well as a consistently friendly and welcoming face each time I’m in. I have just one humble request, though, if mgmt would be so kind as to take it into consideration… 😇 To prepare an iced matcha latte: Please, please, *please*… stop making hot matcha lattes that you then simply add ice to. This is not the correct way to make an iced matcha latte. The current method Windsor is doing is diluting the latte with water, because the heat makes the ice melt very, very quickly. I didn’t know if this feedback would make its way to mgmt if I shared it with one of the baristas alone, hence the review. Again, I do hope you’ll consider. In the meantime, I look forward to trying a hot matcha latte now that the chilly season has commenced! *edit: Thank you so much for the response!
I've been coming here for years. The staff is incredibly friendly and the coffee is great. They have some great pastries; I will occasionally get a donut or cookie when I come in and I've never been disappointed. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
The cookie selection is out of this world. The service is imPECCABLE. They had extreme resilience despite technical difficulties. Would go again, will go again. I love Windsor cafe like a MOTHER!!!
I came here looking for some coffee after a walk in Prospect Park. The coffee was great, and the service was friendly. It was raining heavily, and I was grateful to be in this cozy, warm café.
The pastry is delicious and the coffee (unlike many others picked randomly) is pretty good. Also the person in the bar is super nice

Cold brew was good. Nice place to relax.
Great and friendly staff. Yummy bagels! Great coffee! Welcome to the neighbourhood.
Probably my followers know me by now I can't walk by coffee not try it. I got the Hot lattee +almond milk 12oz $5.00 Aa far as the coffee taste not bad, noy the best the I've ever had. The place is cozy and clean. I was welcomed. sitting areas. For the Area i find the cookies to be Expensive on the Expensive side of $3.75 per one. But deffentlly nice chilling spot... I feel like soft music will help way too Quiet, I almost heard my own thoughts
Pleasant coffee shop, espresso too acidic for me, third wave style. Friendly service and nice atmosphere, though.
I give 4 stars for design only🤓Very cosy spot. Came around 5 pm on Saturday, the selection of cookies was not great. Though the atmosphere is very warm and friendly.
Cute little cafe around the area. Cappuccino was good but a little bit too bitter for me. I also had a cookie by the baker around the neighborhood, it was a classic. Friendly place to work and I appreciate the space.
Cute coffee shop a block from the park. Good amount of outlets to do work if you need to. They have a few selections of scones, muffins, bagels, and hot oatmeal which is a plus. Not a fan of Pacifica Oat Milk, but their regular latte is good and their bagels are soft.
I just stopped by today for a large Iced Americano. This place is small and cute, but needs a little touch up work. The prices are a bit steep, and there isn't much of a price gap between the small and large. Overall, my iced coffee was very good and the barista was very friendly so I will stop by again in the future.

Service and hospitality were phenomenal. The girl behind the counter with the rainbow headband was the kindest! Good hospitality is very rare in NYC. Least I could do was a leave a review. Keep it going! Thanks for making my stop a good one while I was waiting for my car to get fixed :) cheers!

The ice coffee was just hot coffee poured on ice making it watery and gross to drink.
Good coffee, friendly staff.
Caramel macchiato was half cup full and tasted like water(gave too much ice) no caramel taste. lemon loaf was good tho, cookies too sweet and feels not very fresh
A cozy little place that can be a bit too warm, could also use more sunlight. Two latte’s ran me $10 which is regular brooklyn prices I suppose. The coffee tasted mediocre at best. Not the worst but very far from the best.
Meh. Convenient to the subway and pleasantly appointed, but unserious about their coffee. Several Americanos and a handful of cappuccinos have so far failed to suggest much passion for the craft, and the coffee itself tastes generic. A better grade of bean, a little more enthusiasm and finesse, and this could be a go-to rather than a stop-by.
Tried their coffee... in general not bad but tasted little sour to my taste. Cute place, nice design, friendly barista. Prices little high for the quality you get.
Hmmm. I was very excited to have something in this area other than Steeplechase, which seems a bit pretentious and doesn't take credit cards. I think Windsor Coffee may still be hitting its stride. Perhaps it's my mistake for ordering off menu, although it was just a flat white, nothing bizarre, and the barista said it as no problem. The foam was really airy and there was way too much of it. Definitely more of a cappuccino, so I’m wondering if they’d do a latte better, or if it’s one of the places that makes all milk foam drinks the same. I’ll try it again, but only so many times. Whatever else one might say about steeplechase, they make drinks with appropriate proportions. Oh, and I think my flat white may have been made with skim milk because t tasted pretty watery. I wasn’t asked about milk type, which I generally assume means they’re using whole, so I may need to ask next time. The WiFi didn't work.
I’m gonna give some constructive criticism on this location. Those three stars go for the design of the coffee shop and the sense of coziness. As per the coffee and presentation, I have zero stars to give. As inflation is attacking all of us, I have built a financial tolerance that most cappuccinos will come to a total of $6 minimum. However if I’m paying $6-7 for a coffee (with tip) in my local neighborhood, I’d APPRECIATE a design, a flower a heart or some artwork from a barista at least. In addition coffee is mostly served in to go cups unless asked and they give you a mug……… I’m pro environment and recycling, but I would also love to feel luxurious drinking my $7 coffee in cute glassware rather than (no offense to anyone) a bum in paper cups. This place is great to get some laptop work in and or reading time even if it can get noisy during school hours. In the mean time I think I’ll be traveling to Manhattan where coffee is presented better, tastes better, (forgot to mention the last few times it has been burnt)so I can get my moneys worth. In response to reply: $5 cappuccino + $1 oat milk, (I don’t drink dairy) + $1 for staff = $7. Over the year the cappuccino’s have accumulated and I certainly don’t need to give Karen energy seeing how busy it gets. Not to mention I’m typically in a rush when I buy coffees. Best.
The coffee here is the best option in the neighborhood and the staff that have been there for a while are very nice and do a great job. However, they recently hired someone new and he has messed up every single order over multiple visits. One time, he made the wrong drink twice and I just gave up and left with it and threw it away. And his service is terrible - he gives the Gen Z stare. It makes me want to ask for his schedule so I can plan visits around it.

Would not recommend the hot chocolate. Basically just steamed milk
There is a reason Starbucks is a name-brand place and has places all-over. It's simple. It's fair priced for the quality and as long as you sit down at their tables and relax there , like a cafe. Winsdor, on the other hand is quite the opposite in all regards. Their coffee quality does not match their pricing. In addition, their space to consume their goods, the eating area, is too small to even consider worthy of sitting down, like a cafe and doing stuff. Sure, they have out-side seating, but it's just seats and a table outside , what poor effort. This place should be 30% cheaper and it would be alright to come over. But for the current prices and quality , only delusional people who think supporting "the small man" can justify their behavior. And even in that, they are wrong. It's better to have Winsdor replaced with a starbucks, if it only relies on fake empathy of being the under-dog , then it brings nothing to civilization, except unfairness.
Was there Saturday, very dirty tables and floors , barista had no idea what coffee she was serving, came out coffee itself was very low quality! For those, who really understand good coffee this is not a place to grab one! design is cute though!:)
The worst espresso ever. If the shot takes 5 seconds to pull, there is a problem. They have quality equipment so clearly they just have no clue what they are doing with the grind and technique. I'd love to see this place put out quality product because the nabe needs it, so please just take a few barista lessons.
