Korner Pizza is the best pizza in Ditmas Park / Kensington / Windsor Terrace! They are fast and affordable, and the staff is always lovely. During COVID you can get a slice at the window on the sidewalk, and eat it at their outdoor picnic tables. Once I was getting a slice here and another woman at the window told me she has been coming here since she moved to Brooklyn 40 years ago and even though she left the neighborhood, comes back to Korner for a slice. Love it!

This is hands down my favorite pizza in Brooklyn. I grew up 3 blocks away and have gone there my whole life. Haters who’ve been priced outta park slope may hate. But i go miles out of my way to come back and get a pie.

Korner pizza is the quintessential neighborhood pizzeria in Kensington Brooklyn, with a prime location. It's three blocks from McDonald avenue, where the Church Avenue train station is located, and three blocks from Ocean Parkway. They have a great menu with all the standard fare you'd expect to find in any pizzeria in Brooklyn. I've had a wide variety of items off the menu and I've been a customer for over 20 years. My recommendations if you want a sit down meal (as opposed to a slice or two) are either the ziti marinara with sausage (have the baked version if you want the extra cheese), or the grilled chicken caesar salad, or the spaghetti with white clam sauce. If you order takeout, they are very good about providing you with a good deal of bread and grated cheese with your order. They are very accommodating when it comes to special requests. I often call in a special request to make me a custom spinach roll from scratch with a lot of crushed red pepper mixed in with the cheese and spinach and they do so at no extra charge. Counter service is very good, very friendly, very short wait times.

This place has clearly done a number on me. I’ve been here two nights in a row and have not been disappointed either time. In fact, I was so impressed tonight that I recommended this place to my mom back in Ohio. I’m sure that I’ll be back a third time because this little restaurant has fulfilled all my NYC tourist dreams.

This pizzeria has been open since I first came to Brooklyn at 5 years old. I am now 42 years old and I have been eating there ever since the pizza slices were $1.00 and the pizza pies were $8.00. It is a great, excellent pizzeria that has stood the test if time not only in excellent pizza but excellent taste. I give this pizzeria 5 stars.

This is in my opinion some of the best pizza in Brooklyn. It's a favorite in my house. Their meatball parms and rice balls are delicious too. Owned by a really nice Italian family, a true Brooklyn spot.

Best pizza in KWT and one of my faves in Brooklyn. Same family forever which means no managerial turnover, different recipes, etc. Yes - may be a little more expensive but well worth it. So many bad places around now so we should all be happy that they exist. Make your pizza craving count by getting over to Korner.

Some places in our area have tried to become more up-scale with the changing demographic of the neighborhood, but Korner neither tries nor needs to change. They're not on any of the apps, and they don't take credit cards, which helps them stay in business in a tight market. But their pizza is consistently satisfying and tasty, and that means everything!

We go here for the dough. They are very kind and support our home-cooked pizza habit. So every Friday we do "take and bake" pizza there. They never turn us down.

I grew up on this place and now I have the pleasure experiencing this place with my daughter. Although the pizza may be pricey the FOOD is DELICIOUS! I love the baked ziti and my daughter loves the mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni slice. Toni really goes out of his way for all his customers. It really sucks when they are closed for vacation in August... I know that they need time off but I'm selfish and want them there for me!

Best crust and sauce in the neighborhood. Both are light enough to allow the flavor of the cheese and pepperoni to stand out. For 75 cents extra a slice over their closest competition, it was by far worth it. (I bought a pepperoni slice from each and taste tested them against each other.)

This is my favorite pizza spot for a traditional New York style pizza. Note, this is not a specialty pizza place or a hipster pizza place. The family opened the restaurant over 50 years ago and the family still operates it. I usually go here with my husband and kids and order an entire pie. Fresh from the oven it is so good. The crust is thin but not too thin and it’s delicious. Not bready but nice and chewy. My daughter skips the crust at most places but she eats it here. The sauce is my favorite part. It tastes the way pizza sauce is supposed to taste (not like spaghetti sauce). To be honest, I love the plain cheese or pepperoni pies so much that I rarely venture out to the rest of the menu. My husband on the other hand gets everything and he really likes the heros and pasta dishes as well. He was born and raised in Brooklyn and this is the pizza place he went to growing up. We now live in Harlem and still come here for our pizza fix (at least once a month).

One of the best pizzerias in Brooklyn. Just right amount of everything you can about pizza down to the crust. The hot dishes are also delicious along with the appetizers. I wish they were literally around the corner from me. Lol

Out of all the places in Kensington, this is absolutely the best pizza in the neighborhood AND it's family-run! While it's not exactly cheap, or even reasonable, it seems like $3/slice is the norm. While I love Sicilian slices, if you're in the area, grab a regular slice or two, along with a fountain soda and you'll be set. If you're ordering from home, order before you're starving because delivery times sometimes stink (read: 45 minutes to an hour), but that's just because they're THAT good.

A local described this to us as "the best pizza in the city." In reality, it's overpriced ($22 for a plain cheese pizza + about $12 for each topping) and tastes more like Little Caesar's. Thankfully, that local paid on our behalf, so I'm not personally feeling duped. We later had pizza from two other restaurants, and they were both considerably better. And don't get me started on "cash only." Pros: - Neutrals: - Kind of tastes like Little Caesar's, which I hear some people like. Negatives: - Super expensive, especially if you want a topping or two. - Not all that special. - Cash only...in 2021, when digital money is king. Possibly to avoid paying taxes...? Quality: 3/5 Price: 1/5 Not terrible, but just not really worth it. Being well-established shouldn't be considered an excuse to rip people off.

It's mediocre at best. The fact that there isn't anywhere else in the neighborhood to go is probably the ONLY thing that keeps them in business. They're cash-only. They stopped allowing people to sit inside. They have two stone tables out front, so, be prepared. The food is really not good. I'm sorry if they're trying, but nobody there really cares. It's dough with sauce and cheese. Technically pizza in name only.

People were nice enough but I’ve had better pizza at $1 pizza places in Manhattan than this place and that’s not saying much. The key to a great NYC pizza is a crust that is crispy on the bottom but still has a good chew to it. This pizza was soggy and limp. Trying to fold it over to eat didn’t work as it just sagged. The sauce also tasted like it came out of a can. It had a sweet and slightly metallic taste but no real flavor. If this is their normal fare then I have no idea how they’ve managed to stay in business making pizza like this in Brooklyn.

I write this review with regret. I live just a few blocks from Korner Pizza. In the past, I became frustrated with them not getting my order correct for delivery and decided to "hang low" - you know, not order anything from them for a while. Well, over the last couple of weeks, I decided I would order some garlic bread from them for pick--up. When I went to pickup the garlic bread, this nice older lady took care of me. She was friendly and we talked about how her parents-in-law started the business 60-something years ago, etc, etc. We had a nice conversation. And the garlic bread was good! Well, this evening, around 7:00pm, I called to place a pickup order - Ziti with white clam sauce, with extra garlic and extra mushroom, with an order of garlic bread. I arrived about 30 minutes later to pickup my order, and had a nice quick chat with the older lady. I left a 4 dollar tip on a 25 dollar pu order. When I returned home to eat, I realized there were no mushrooms whatsoever on the order, nor were there napkins or utensils in the bag. I'm sorry, but as a late-fifties man who has placed an order or two in my day, I find it completely unacceptable in 2025 to not include those items in an order. Its an insult, really. In the 60-some-odd years they've been in business, they've not worked out some kind of system to ensure each order gets napkins and utensils???? If they don't care about the basics, how can I trust with them what I eat?????? I am NEVER EVER ordering from Korner Pizza again. Farewell. Its not magic or high thought that ensured customer satisfaction. Its just caring. Plain and simple. And if Korner Pizza doesn't care, I don't care about writing a well-deserved poor review.

Probably the worst slice of pizza I've had in New York City. Absolutely no flavor at all. It's the kind of pizza you get in college when taste doesn't matter. Would give one star if it wasn't for the good service. Guys behind the counter were pretty nice.

RUDE!!! I see beef patty from the outside window. I go inside all excited (I love beef patties). I asked can I get a beef patty please. No reply! Then I asked, how much is a beef patty here. One of the worker said " it's $3". I said OK I'll be right back. Before I walked out I asked can I get it with cheese. He immediately replies to me "it's a dollar". I was smiling and said "you serious?" Then he replies "DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M JOKING?". He didn't look like he was joking. Now, I wasn't sure how I should react to that. I looked around for few seconds while he stares at me. I asked him without a smile "Why you being rude to me?" No replies! Before I left I said "I came in here with a smile now I'm leaving without it, thanks a lot". I'm sure the food is great. The beef patties had me come inside the store. But, I don't think anyone can eat there with rude person like him! Moments later when I was coming back from a Chinese store across the street. He was sitting right outside that pizza store smoking a cigarette.

The pizza was gross tasted like rubber and was not a large pie and their service was unacceptable. Charged $20 for a pie did not even bring plastic plates or cups for an $80 order nor was there any garlic or parmesan to put one the pies. Will never be ordering from here again. Anyone have any suggestions for a good pizzeria in the neighborhood?

Pizza with sausage was tasty. But after isat down to eat i observed the woman behind the counter (part of the management) openly cough in her hands and serve a patron pizza....she never left the front counter to wash or glove her hands after coughing in them. SMH

Overpriced bad pizza. Here’s what this place has going wrong for it: 1) The 18” special is $36 freaking dollars, and it somehow tastes completely flavorless despite having a half dozen or more toppings 2) It turned my guts inside-out. This garbage gave me a nauseous gurgling colon within two hours of eating. I am NOT lactose intolerant, so this means they use fake over-processed mozzarella or something like that. 3) It’s cash-only. In 2024. Come on, get with the 21st century for crying out loud. Others in the neighborhood recommended this place, and all I can think is that they’re out of their goddamm minds — or maybe they’ve just never eaten real food made with fresh ingredients. Thought it might have been something else from that day, so had a leftover slice for lunch to make sure. Nope! Two hours later, same horrorshow in my intestines. Had to throw out the rest of the leftovers because it made me so sick. Seriously, forget this place! Beverley Pizzeria, right around the corner, has an amazing Southwestern pie that costs less, tastes a thousand times better and doesn’t make me feel like puking while I’ve got the squirts at the same time. Sorry, Korner Pizza. Gave you one chance. Never, ever again.

Extremely rude people! They only take cash. I was calling a friend to bring me cash before I started eating when I found out they only take cash. The lady snatched the one slice of pizza back from me and ordered me to put the can of soda back in the fridge. Never in my life was I disrespected this badly. Horrible customer service and thank god I didn’t have to eat there and support some horrible people and their business.

Came here with family and when my brother asked for the key to the bathroom, Natalie, the manager on duty said the bathroom was flooded and out of service. Then when another person asked for the key, she kindly gave it to him. She was rude, disrespectful, and turned down a customer based on the color of their skin. Very unprofessional customer service. We have lived in this area and never had a problem before. Pizza was good but would not return because of their unfair service.

Are we in Manhattan or what is good with the prices?? $5 for a pepperoni slice? That tastes just as good as Beverly Pizza who charges less. Last time I paid that much for a slice at least it was to die for. Korner? Not so much. Unhygienic! Not to mention, workers are taking my cash and flipping pizza orders right after without washing hands or having one person at the register instead.

The owners have Fox News playing and mistreat their workers in front of everyone. It made me so uncomfortable waiting for my pizza and hearing how hostile the owners are with the employees. I asked her is the pizza ready yet like don’t you just have to stick in the oven, she had put it in the bag on top of the oven just sitting there. Like she probably took out the pizza 25 minutes ago she said she didn’t think I was ready to get handed my pizza what i was standing right infront of the counter?? it’s like yeah I’m just standing in this pizza shop without my pizza cause I have nothing better to do. Why wouldn’t they not just hand it to me right when it gets out the oven, so weird. I never worked at a pizza shop before, but it doesn’t seem that hard.
