Really great. I got delivery. Curry chicken in roti was deliciously seasoned with nice tender pieces of chicken. Only minor complaint is that it took several bites of plain roti to get to the curry inside. However,I love the idea of the roti wrap. The macaroni pie was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Perfectly cooked noodles and nice crispy cheesy top.

I’ve had a few of their curried stews with rice and beans in the past but the oxtail with rice and beans are my favorite! Doubles are yummy and macaroni pie is delicious! This is my go to place!

This was such a great find. We ordered the beef plate with rice and beans, and the shrimp roti. Both were delicious. The place is really small and can seat maybe 8 people max.

Happened to be driving by and I noticed this place. Unfortunately, they do not have a large seating area or a restroom. I do LOVE the way they took the time to pack the food to make sure there is no leaks or spills. The food did taste yummy, however the serving size was small. I ordered the veggie buss up and one doubles. If I’m in the neighborhood I would stop here again.

The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: Tiny, clean restaurant. There is not much room to move around. If you think of dining in, you should go there on a nice summer day because they have a few tables outside. Yes, there are no indoor tables. I would also suggest ordering ahead so you won't have to wait while more people get in. Service: Service was prompt. However, I do have to say, if you don't find the cashier lady on front, you're going to have to wait until she gets back. She helps her coworkers wrap up orders. Food: Okay, so I ordered the Rice & Beans Curry Shrimp and a Tamarind Ball. I won't lie, food was pretty good, except for the tamarind ball. Pretty good does not mean delicious, though. Price: Honestly, I don't feel like the quality, quantity, and flavors of the food justify their high prices. Don't get me wrong, their food is not bad. As I've said before, their food is pretty good. However, I believe flavors should be on another level to charge those prices.

3.3.18 - so we stumbled upon this place while we waited for our table at Am Thai Bistro. We got a veggie roti and a Salt Baked Fish, or something like that. We met May who's the daughter in law of the the namesake to the restaurant. They'll be hitting two years in July and I think they'll make it, or at least I hope because their food is pretty darn good. The food isn't over seasoned and it tastes like everything is made fresh. I think they are well known for their doubles and they were sold out when we got there, but no worries. I'll most likely find some time to go back to get one.

Sooo I placed an order 1/15/26 for boneless curry chicken with buss up . Now when I got my order the food smelt amazing but immediately I noticed that the chicken was dark …. Like stew chicken dark …. As soon as I ate it all I tasted was sugar . So what I think they did was gave me Stew Chicken with Curry potatoes …. Sigh …. There is no way curry chicken is THIS dark . And the chicken does not taste like curry at alllllllll more like stew chicken .

I wanted to like this place more because it looks like a good local spot, but the shrimp curry plate that I ordered was soulless —to say the least. Not much flavor in the rice&beans plate, a small and tasteless coleslaw portion, and about 8 shrimps for $18. In short, the majority of the plate was rice.

Food was ok, staff nice and attentive. The chicken curry was a bit insipid but the daalpoorie it was wrapped was good. My mom had a pine tart and said “ This isn’t as good as Dolly’s…..”. Dolly is her sister!

Many years ago Suzy’s used to be soooo good idk what happened but their food fell off so bad. I ordered chicken soup with one bake and salt fish and it was so disappointing. The soup looked and tasted canned Campbell soup and the bake and salt fish was chewy and salty. The food had no Trini or Caribbean flavors whatsoever.

As much as I love their food, it was a go to staple but I placed an online order that was over $100. A lot of food and only half of it came. Grubhub or Suzy’s is not able to refund me and I’m just out money without food. Off principle I can’t order again. One out of 10 doubles ordered is too insane
