We had a team dinner tonight and one of our colleagues who was familiar with the menu ordered appetizers and Tapas! The food was so delicious and tasty and the service was fabulous! The dessert was good as well! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

I discovered Sabores a few months ago, and have kept coming back to the point I consider myself a regular :) The quality of the food and hospitality are their biggest asset, they can accommodate requests and alter dishes to meet your needs. The cocktail and drinks selection is plenty and they are sure to put a smile in your face. They do special events, I have celebrated two birthdays and brought large groups.

My partner and I were visiting this weekend. If we would have found this place on our first day we probably would have gone everyday. My favorites were the tamarind mimosa, baleadas (although it’s my first time having them with black beans) and the patacones con pollo. I probably would not get the patatas con huevo or the chaufa con carne again. The patatas could have been crispier and with less sauce. I’ve had chaufa before but for some reason it had a sweet taste which wasn’t my favorite. Overall, It’s a good concept they have going on. The music was great. The personnel is very attentive. Additionally, it was fairly cheap compared to the other restaurants we visited. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again!

A Top 5-Star Brunch Experience at Sabores! A group of us organized a birthday brunch for a friend at Sabores, and it was an amazing experience! With a large party of 20, the Sabores team made it all feel effortless, allowing us to fully enjoy the celebration. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can be challenging, but Alex, Carlos, and Ernesto went out of their way to make sure I felt safe and included. They personally prepared a special dish for me—a perfectly cooked steak with a fresh salad—taking every precaution to prevent cross-contamination. They even brought my plate out separately, showing incredible attention to detail. Beyond that, my friends couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was. Everything was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served with great attention. The staff was attentive, kind, and efficient, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the celebration even more special. Sabores offers gluten-free options on their menu, and they are very careful if you let them know about any allergies or dietary restrictions to ensure no cross-contamination. If you’re looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and a fun, inviting vibe, Sabores is definitely worth a visit! Highly recommended!

So everything we had had was good, some dishes excellent. For the prices this is a great tapas value. Our service was exceptional as well and they have great drink options. Try the creamy lobster bisque and the zucchini for sure.

Sabres is a great tapas addition to the food scene on Columbia Pike in Arlington. We were seated in a nice booth as soon as we entered. Our server Christian, was friendly and gave us time to look over the menu. He also provided excellent recommendations on tapas options when I asked. We ordered the red sangria pitcher, which tasted great and was a good amount for two people. We ordered two rounds of tapas, three plates each round and that was definitely plenty. The steak plates were probably my favorite. The asparagus was also perfectly cooked and tasty. The guacamole was also a delicious starter. The quatro leches cake was a perfect end to our dinner. The atmosphere and decor are very nice. I'd definitely comeback. Thanks for a great experience!

I have been living in spain for 6 years, I tried many spanish restaurants in DC and this one come up to my search and I was surprised with their food and price. The taste was for my liking and portion of tapas was bigger comparing to other restaurants. However the Jamón was dried out. All the others food are good and special I liked the flan. Will come back to try more.

Food and atmosphere were good but the service was great! Attentive and provided answers to questions about the food. The Feijoada was made with beef and was excellent! The Arepitas with beef and chicken were good, the beef was our preferred, and the patacones with beef and chicken. Also got some steak with chimichurri sauce that was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The octopus my friend had was kind of bland and he enjoyed the chicharron (pork rinds). Overall would recommend this place just don’t come when the staff is having their midday meal.

Went here with my family. The servers were friendly and the music playing was great. They had the Copa playing in the television. Food was good, we all liked the small plates better than the entrees. Highly recommend patacones and arepitas.

The food was good, but nothing crazy or standout. Service started off well; we were seated right away and greeted nicely. Unfortunately, our waiter wasn’t very attentive throughout the meal. Our order was messed up twice, and when we asked for a dessert menu, it was forgotten as well. The staff overall was friendly, but the lack of attentiveness took away from the experience. I’m not sure I’d recommend this place.

We enjoyed Sabores Tapas Bar and found the service to be wonderful. It's a rather small restaurant, though clean and not too crowded with tables. Be aware there is only one bathroom per gender, which did make for some waiting. The menu is varied, but uneven. The chicken and mushroom paella was quite good, but the Lomo Saltado was below average. The Gambas al Ajillo were prepared with frozen shrimp - that was a disappointment. I do recommend the Chicharrón con Yuca Frita, Guacamole, and the Dátiles con Tocino. I'm not sure that we would return, given how many restaurant options are in this area.

What I enjoyed most were the ambiance, the music, and service. Everyone was very attentive and we were constantly checked by our waitress. The place is spacious and welcoming. The food was okay, but not memorable to me. I liked the patatas bravas and the arepitas. I didn’t get any cocktails but my friend did and she said they were okay too. I got their tamarind mocktail and it was also fine. Some finesse and attention to detail could be beneficial for their tapas. The tortilla came with a very, very strong/bitter aioli that covered most of it and overpowered the tortilla flavor. The setas al ajillo, were not setas, they were just regular mushrooms swimming in oil and garlic. I may go back to try more items and will update my review if I change my mind.
