Came here on Sunday after the Bucs game and ordered off their daily specials menu. Both of our meals came with our choice of 2 sides. Plenty of food for a good price. The yellow rice was amazing! Plantains were delicious too. Great food and great service, would come again!

The food always fresh, meats always soft, well seasoned, the staff always friendly and the price for the food is always fair for the whole family. I conclude with this….I’m a happy customer and everyone now is family. 🤩

Great spot! A bit confusing to get inside, but the dinner service is very charming. The food is great, we had the puerco asado and the lamb and both were flavorful and tender. The portion sizes were generous for the price and included complementary bread. Would recommend

Wow that was my first word once I get my Lunch here this place is awesome all the dishes are prepared at the moment that you ordered Steak Beans Cuban Rice absolutely delicious is an incredible to get Breakfast every day also have an Great Cafeteria with an Expresso Coffee or Cuban Colada served by Daniel ☝🏽🤩👍🏽 the best of everything is the waitress Service absolute amazing… I recommend 100%

5 different ways to eat! It can be a little confusing at first, but there are different parts of the restaurant that serve you in a different setting. Read the sign by the entrance. The service was wonderful, very polite and great recommendations. The food to price ratio is great with big servings!

The food was exquisite. I ordered a bistec de palomilla (grilled palomilla steak), a red wine and a couple of sides. The best Cuban cuisine I have tried. The ambience was cool and the place was cozy. The customer service was very kind and on point. This is a returning spot for future dining.

After a long photo shoot with my coworker, we stopped at La Teresita for lunch—and it hit the spot. I had the bistec palomilla with white rice and black beans, and everything was delicious and full of flavor. The steak was tender, the rice was fluffy, and the beans were perfectly seasoned. Great Cuban comfort food and friendly service. Definitely coming back!

My Tampa friends discovered this quaint Cuban restaurant. Everything is Cuban here, yes authentic. Ordered the ropa vieja. Very good. Service was quick and to the point. Great place for thy family. I'll be back.

I always bring visitors from out of town here. CLARITA and MARILYS offered impeccable service today with my out of town friend treating us like locals. We enjoyed cooked yuca and black beans that are extremely delicious. Our grilled chicken was a bit dry compared to previous experiences Great local flavor here with the counters. Accessible entry and restroom. Counter seat are bar height. Accessible tables indoors. Accessible parking in free lot for 3 venues.

Stopped by La Teresita, a well-known Tampa staple I hadn’t visited in over 20 years. It was once the go-to spot for hearty, family-style, home-cooked meals — and while the style and welcoming vibe haven’t changed, I felt the quality of some dishes has slipped a bit. I ordered the fish filet and fried shrimp, both of which tasted a little processed, like something straight from the freezer. That said, considering the generous portions and very reasonable prices, it’s hard to be too disappointed. The real highlight of my visit was the mango and guava fruit drinks — absolutely amazing! So refreshing and full of flavor, they alone are worth a quick stop when you’re in the area. I still appreciate La Teresita for providing affordable, filling meals in a casual, homey setting where families can gather and enjoy a taste of classic flavors.

This place has been around my whole life. It was fantastic! For some reason they changed their food. Especially their steak! They use to be flat beaten out thin steak that was delicious. Now they are slightly thicker bland shells of their former glory. If it isn’t broke! Why don’t people learn

Around 3:30pm i told my husband to pick up a take out order from this restaurant on his way to work. Im pregnant and i was craving for a Napolitan Chicken, so i order two, both with yellow rice and one with black beans an the other with platains. For my surprise when we get to work and ready to eat the chicken was not the Napolitan, just breaded chicken with some tasteless onions over. I was so mad because i was hungry and craving just for the Napolitan chicken . My husband called and they didnt apologize at all. Second of all they told us because the restaurant policy we have to take the food all the way to the restaurant( more than 45 minutes) and because we are working we couldnt. So now im eating something that i didnt order, and craving for the other chicken. We pay for something that they didnt get it right. No apology, no refund, no nothing. They need to get things right and because of that we ate something we didnt order. Awful customer service. If i could give 0 stars i would. I dont think i will come back or recommend this restaurant.

We ordered food today and the service was terrible. We ordered, utensils and dressing for the salads and got none of the above. When we called to address this they said: well we thought you were home! How lazy and unprofessional! If it’s requested, then send it! Their salad is literally just chopped up lettuce and the steak was so little! We ordered from the hospital so of course we had nothing to eat with. Their response is they’ve been open 50 yrs blah blah blah, but obviously some of the new staff are no good! I’m assuming they’ve been open this long because of the location, certainly not customer service or food! Look at the responses to other reviews, it will tell you everything you need to know about who they are!

I hate to say this, but the best thing about my whole experience here was the bread basket at the beginning. The meal I ordered was a chicken milanese cutlet which tasted okay but the plate it was served on was way too small. The chicken was hanging off half the plate, making it difficult to cut. I found my server, Miguel, to be very rude. When I was finished eating, he was having a long conversation with the table right next to me for about 10 minutes as I was waiting for him to come by, making eye contact with him several times as he continued to speak with the other table. He clearly saw me waiting. His demeanor was all around rude. I did not feel like I was a welcome customer here. Even when I left and walked right past him as he continued to speak with that other table, he did not even look at me and wish me a nice night or thank me as I would expect from a waiter providing good customer service. I would not return here, based on my experience with this server.
