Just incredible! Every dish was perfect. We tried 8 dishes between 4 people family style and incl one celiac and every single dish blew our mind. We loved the broccolini, meatballs, octopus, mussels, risotto and cod from the regular menue and short rib and snapper from the specials menue. The bottle of wine we had was great and so were the cocktails. Friendly attentive service and everything well marked for allergies on the menue, excellent. We will be back when in the area!

Food and service were excellent. Waitress was very knowledgeable. I love a menu that's not too big. It usually means everything is top notch. Ordered: lamb meatballs, pork chop, and Jumbo Lump Crab Tagliatelle. Overall pricey, but worth the splurge.

Everything was amazing. We shared the octopus, mussels, broccoli, lamb meatballs, risotto, cod, short rib and snapper!!! All of it was gluten free and the waitress paired it perfectly with wine. Also had cocktails that were yummy!

Definitely had the best carrot cake we have ever had. And the cod was absolutely melt in your mouth to die for. 100% recommend food and drinks were amazing!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about our experience! Impeccable, refined, thoughtful, absolutely delicious! The food and service here is top-notch and by far one of the best in Summit County and truly one of the best meals we’ve had even from Denver in a long time. This will be a must have every time we are in from Denver! Sarah made the night even better, from her thoughtful recommendations to her passion and lovely conversation, to her wine knowledge. Do not skip the Nashville hot Quail, Risotto or the carrot cake (literally best we’ve ever had)!

They make a great vodka martini with blue cheese olives and the truffle flavor French fry’s are worth the trip to Edwards Colorado. It’s got a nice casual atmosphere great place after a ski day to have a drink and relax. The Service has been excellent each time I’ve been very nice place .

Excellent food and service. I would recommend every dish on the menu, they’re all superb! But you must try the truffle fries, the blackened chicken and pork chop!

Unbelievable experience. Sat at the bar, the bar tender (Jeff) is incredible trully a champion at suggesting. This is a 5 star restaurant with great dishes and service. You can easily tell the level is so much higher than any other place in the area. Food was excellent, service was excellent really a beautiful experience. Best restaurant in town by far.

Always a perfect experience here! The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are incredible. My fiance and I had our first date here and we visited another time a year after. The other night we had dinner here the night after I proposed. In the reservation, I had requested the same seats we sat at the bar on our first date. The team kindly reserved them and we were greeted with congratulations and champagne upon our arrival. A special place for us and can’t wait to come back!

We made a quick trip up to the mountains to celebrate our anniversary. A friend recommended Vin48 and we were beyond happy with the rec! Both our hostess and server were incredible - I wish I got their names! We had the crispy brussel sprouts (forgot to take a picture), meatball app, mussels, and cod w/shrimp curry sauce. Everything was delicious!! The owner had cut fresh flowers from his garden for each table and it was the cherry on top of a perfect evening. I cannot recommend this spot enough!

Amazing meal in Avon with my friends. We ordered multiple things from the menu and the service was great. The carrot cake was so worth it even though I was pretty full but I am really glad we ended up getting it. I’ve never seen a carrot cake like that

The restaurant is nice, nothing fancy but very cozy. The food was great, lots of flavor and it all tasted freshly cooked. I had the octopus and it was outstanding and the braised goat was to die for. The place have been around for a while now and the owners have been constantly delivery quality food. Bridgette was our server, she did a great job!! she was very friendly and explained the menu items very well. We will be back!!

Add this to the list of best restaurants I’ve been to in America. Mocktails, chicken liver mousse, roasted baby beets, poached pear & burrata salad, grilled Mountain View pork chop, and Maine lobster risotto. Unassuming, laid back spot with highly attentive service and killer food 🔥🔥

Absolutely outstanding, 5 stars We come here once or twice a year, it was always good, now its even better than ever. Server told us that they changed chef, my compliments. We always get a bunch of small plates instead of a main course so we can try a bit of everything. Everything was absolutely delicious, our favorite was the bison tartare, I loved the capers, the octopus with the citrus tapenade the flavor was soooo good, the arugula and burrata salad was good, I would’ve added more prosciutto cause it was so good, then we had the special which was the foie gras, absolutely amazing, the acidity of the cherries paired perfectly, then we ordered the pork meatballs which were good but too sweet for our taste and the kind server let us choose something different so we went for the scallop and pork belly which was savory and tasted like heaven. We don’t have a sweet tooth so we ordered the chicken liver mousse for dessert to finish our cocktail, the mousse was out of this world. For cocktails we had the gin and pimms, super refreshing. Service was a 10 and we love the ambiance. I recommend a 100000%, I think we we’ll be back more often.

My wife and I come here once a year for our ‘celebration getaway to the mountains’. They have incredible dietary restriction awareness, amazing service, and a seasonal menu that never ceases to amaze. Alex took phenomenal care of us on my birthday, and I cannot recommend this place enough I have sent family and locals here and will continue to do so.

Reservations are a must as this place was packed on a Tuesday. Food was interesting, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We got the Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, chicken fried quail, and 4 bone NZ lamb rack, but the star was the carrot cake. It had dehydrated carrot shavings, browned butter cream cheese frosting with a flavorful carrot cake that was both moist and light. Would definitely return!

Incredible meal! We were lucky enough to snag a walk-in two top (likey due to missed reservations with the pass closed) and wow what an experience. From the jump our server Alex was incredible. Great wine suggestions, attention to detail, and generally fun and playful style. All around top tier hospitality from the whole staff. We got the special small plate sunchokes alongside the brussel sprouts and wedge salad to start. Then the octopus and papradelle with ragu for mains. Everything was delicious. The sunchokes and Brussels were incredibly flavorful. The wedge salad had some blue cheese that could absolutely knock your socks off - avoid if you're not a true blue cheese lover but for us, it was great. We got a bottle of natural white wine that was recommended to us after discussing our preferences that was absolutely delicious. They hit the nail on the head for our tastes. We decided to get dessert as everything else had been phenomenal and that was no exception. Alex suggested a nice, tart Mederia to pair with the red velvet gooey tart which really brought things to the next level. All in all, Alex and the whole crew made our valentines day dinner special. Thank you all!

Listen - if you’re just visiting or if you’re a local ;Vin 48 is hands- down the best culinary and cocktail experience you’ll have in Avon. I’ve been here atleast 30 times. You can trust me. ;)From the daily specials to the craft cocktails - you simply cannot go wrong at Vin. The service is top notch , which if you’re local, you know is hard to find. Plenty of places with ‘good food ‘ and bad service. If you want to CHECK ALL THE BOXES, come to Vin 48. This place holds strong against the best restaurants I’ve eaten at across the country. Come. To. Vin. But leave a seat at the bar for me ;) Shout out to Mitch and Jeff. They KILL it on the bar 🥂 Vin 48 has the best cocktail program of any place in Avon. Don’t waste your time in BC village trying to find that ‘experience ‘. It’s here at Vin 48.

Vin48 was recommended to us by a chef in Vail Village. If a chef recommends a restaurant that isn't his, you go! We are so happy we did! Best meal. 10/10 stars. Don't research other restaurants, just come here. Seriously.

Delicious. Brussels sprouts were delicious, Spanish meatballs were fantastic. Pappardelle was amazing as well. carrot cake, red velvet gooey tart were unbelievable. Highly recommend eating here if you haven’t.

Flew in from New York for snowboarding, Vin48 was exceptional - all fresh and quality dishes and I’m a huge foodie. Small plates were so tasty and fun, we got to try a bunch of different dishes. Serrano Salmon was next level! Cocktails were also fantastic. This was a restaurant experience. I can’t wait to come back.

CARROT CAKE FROM THE GODS. Literally the best of my life. I live in NYC and have eaten some of the best carrot cake in NY, and this outshone it like crazy. Onto the actual food, the fried quail wings was INCREDIBLE. To put it in perspective, we actually sent the first plate of it back because one of the wings was undercooked, had to wait like 25 mins for the second version to come out, and I was not that upset that we had to wait. It's that good. Bison tartare was also so tender. Pork chop was solid, but def a notch below the other dishes. Salmon crudo was also decent, maybe could've been a little fresher. While the food was great, the service / actual restaurant was kind of a mess. They 1) brought us wine we didn't order, 2) the first quail was raw in the middle, 3) they gave our replacement dish to the wrong table so we had to wait even more for the cooked version to come out, 4) said they'd take the quail off the bill for that and then forgot. Just lots of mistakes / waiting. If you were in a rush, this place wouldn't have been it TLDR; food was incredible, best carrot cake of my life, however the actual restaurant and service were a mess, but the food is actually good enough that I wasn't super annoyed

We went here for our anniversary. Cheyenne waited on us and couldn't have been nicer. She brought us a couple of complimentary glasses of champagne. Her suggestions were perfect, on the mark and better than described. The food was unique and outstanding. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Generous portion of the muscles and broth. The Wagyu steak was deliciously mouthwatering and tender. Signature drinks were really great as well. What a great way to end our anniversary. Thanks to all who were part of the experience.

Vin 48 was by our favorite place that we ate during our Avon/Vail visit. We arrived during happy hour and were able to catch the discounted drink and happy hour menu. Everything was very delicious and tasted fresh. It was fun watching the chefs/cooks do their thing in the open kitchen. It was busy and energetic. The atmosphere was very pleasant, open, and clean. Service was amazing. We would definitely come back here again!

Ana Lisa was amazing! Every course better than the last. Recommendations: Bison Tartare, Elk Tenderloin, Cod and Sockeye, Mushrooms, and chicken fried Quail! Every dish is a showstopper. Will be back again, and again.

excellent restaurant in avon! they have an extremely unique menu of various meat and sea food items. we absolutely loved the truffle fries, arancini, mussels, calamari, tuna, meatballs, basically all the small plates and then we got the truffle risotto. all was amazing. would absolutely come again

How great is this place? The tagliatelle is the most unique and delicious I've ever had. Steak was done to perfection. Great food, beautiful space, great service (Myles was wonderful).

Lovely and romantic dinner in a yurt. We were lucky to snatch a last minute reservation. The food was so good and we were surprised by how reasonably priced they were. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend their mussels and vanilla brined quail!!!

Staff were great. It was a bit chilly but we sat on the patio to share a bite to eat and enjoy some wine. Our dog was welcome and enjoyed being there as well. The patio has umbrellas and covering for some cover during rain and heaters which we were able to utilize to remain cozy.

My husband ordered pork belly. He loves it! You can definitely taste wine in the mussels...yum! 🤓And a s’mores bomb for dessert was a great finish. 💜

Vin48 has a wonderful, playful and thoughtful menu, we were four for dinner for my daughters birthday, had really excellent service with a laid back vibe, no pretentious attitude at all. Just Colorado cool. We had the Beet salad, fettuccine, ravioli, mussels, broccoli, scallops, and bread. Small plates to share experience. Not as small as Tapas, but smallish. They were all excellent. We had the Scribe Sparkling Riesling to get the evening going, an superb recommendation. I loved the Ravioli, homemade pasta, they were very special. The atmosphere is mellow and maybe some would think a little cold, but I enjoyed the laid back feel. Highly recommend, I understand that they have a really excellent happy hour, will check that out when I am back in Avon.

We had a delicious dinner of small plates. Our party of 3 each tried a couple of our favorite foods and were able to share easily. The mussels and the steak tartare were my favorite. However, there was not a bad dish and a couple small plates really filled us up nicely. The Italian red wine was exciting yet deep. The servers were friendly and made us feel welcomed and relaxed.

A little loud on a Saturday night. Otherwise, an excellent venue, outstanding food. Loved the walleye. And it might have been the best carrot cake we have ever tasted.

Everything I appreciate in a restaurant: friendly and attentive aervice, nice ambiance and amazing and unique food. We had a few small plates and shared the Tilefish and a pear cake dessert. I also let them know in the reservation that it was our anniversary and they acknowledged it and brought us a glass of bubbly to start. Very thoughtful! Very much recommend 👍

Wow! Best meal we've had in a very long time. Everything was great from start to finish. We had a tomato salad with local tomatoes, broccolini, mussels (with amazing focaccia), and a cod dish in a curry broth (which they split for us). The seasonal peach galette with a corn gelato was one of the most unique desserts we've ever had. Service was great, genuine and attentive wait staff (shout out to Alex!). This is a must go if you are looking for good vibes and excellent food in the Vail/Avon area.

We had a magical experience inside one of their yurts. It was so cozy and warm and would recommend to anyone looking for a special night out. Also, their carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had by far !!! All of their food is delicious and made fresh every night!

Food was absolutely amazing - we got the blackened chicken, broccolini, meatballs and carrot cake. The atmosphere is make and while it wasn’t super crowded while we were here it didn’t seem like noise would be an issue when it is crowded. We went at 5pm and it was suitable for our 6 year old.

We’ve been here all week going to all the best restaurants, and this was one of the best we’ve had. Our kids had the best time, the food was truly delicious, and the staff made it so special! Kids meals slightly over priced in my view they ate them all (which never happens, haha). Thank you!

They were very accommodating to our family’s needs, kindly allowing us to move tables not once but twice before we ordered our drinks (I felt bad; but I was with older people who had needs for hearing & it also started sprinkling outside)… Our server, Mare, was lovely. Very friendly & professional. To top everything off, every dish served was delicious! And the wine options, splendid! I definitely recommend this restaurant for a lovely night out.

The food here is quite good especially for the price but I do feel like some items are a hit and others are only so so, however the hits are quite good. Ask your server what they recommend for a great experience. Atmosphere is relaxed with a hint of elegance make for a great vibe. The great wine selection is a high point but they make good cocktails as well. Every dessert I have gotten here is quite good.

We saw VIN 48 and said let's give it a shot! It was not bad. The service was so good in the beginning then went down hill quick. Our waitress kept dissapearing. Even though it was late and there was very little buisness it made no sense that she was not checking on us as often as when it was really busy. I had the Ratatouille in Spanish meatballs. I also have the burrata salad. It was all pretty good. The red velvet dessert was very good! The atmosphere was pretty nice as well.

Great service. For the price of food we get, I expected better. Calamari was on the salty side with a lot of breading, and the sauce on it was OK. Meatball was nothing special. Rockefeller oyster was decent. The best dish was the dessert Crème brûlée.

We decided to come here last minute so we were not able to get a reservation. We were seated at the bar (which we were totally fine with). The food, wine, and cocktails were excellent - the carrot cake dessert was especially noteworthy. The service on the other hand was horrible. The bartender ignored us for about 20 minutes after we were seated and she forgot to put in our order twice after we ordered. She seemed distracted and enjoyed drinking and socializing with the other bartenders instead of tending to folks at the bar. Besides the less than desirable service, we would still recommend the restaurant to others.
