Somos españoles y el propietario nos dijo que su burrito era una fusión del típico burrito mexicano con un toque personal suyo pero sin olvidar la esencia del mismo . A nosotros nos encantó!! Como única pega. Debido al concepto de food truck se pasa calor y no es como un local con aire acondicionado, eso sí tiene dos amplios ventiladores en el techo .

Comí delicioso. El servicio es rápido y super agradable! Comí el de chorizo extra de cacahuate sugerido por la mesera y me encantó, mi marido probó camarón con extra de chorizo, super super deliciosos ambos, no sabría con cuál quedarme. Gracias!!

¡LOS MEJORES BURRITOS DE BACALAR! Es difícil encontrar buenos restaurantes en este pueblo. Muchos se promocionan como elegantes y luego cobran extra por comida mediocre. Este lugar es un hallazgo excepcional, ya que Jorge y Natalia han creado una experiencia verdaderamente especial. La comida es perfecta: burritos enormes y deliciosos hechos con ingredientes frescos y a precios muy razonables. Además, sus salsas son caseras y el servicio es muy amable. Se ha convertido en uno de nuestros lugares favoritos los sábados por la noche para mi esposa y para mí. Lo recomendamos muchísimo.

Realmente buenos, llegamos allí dejándonos llevar por la buenas reseñas y sin duda todas ciertas. Buen ambiente, bien precio y los burritos increíbles, pedimos uno de cochinina y otro de pollo no sabríamos decir cual estaba mejor. Los smootis deliciosos, sin dua un sitio para repetir y para recomendar.

Es un lugar al que deseas repetir, al que deseas volver, es un lugar que vas a recordar. Pedí el burrito de pollo junto con mi pareja y nos encantó, los ingredientes se sienten frescos, el pollo jugoso, las salsas para acompañarlo son deliciosas, fue una buena experiencia, lo vale.

Soy de Chetumal y sin duda son los mejores que he probado en la zona. Las salsas están deliciosas. Regresaré siempre

Not sure I'll ever get over how good that burrito was - hands down the best burritos we have ever had! It is obvious how much care and attention goes into this place, the owner is kind and engaging, staff are all brilliant and the food has been cooked with love and care. I had the Pachugo (Jamaica Flower) with added peanuts, it was absolutely delicious. Every element was amazing and it felt as though so much thought had gone in to each one. My partner had the chicken and chorizo and felt the same about his too. The additional sauces just made the whole experience even better (the coriander and chipotle mayo ones being our favourites). Couldnt recommend this place enough! 💫💫💫💫💫

I heard a woman saying that the burritos here were the best she had ever had. And then a different woman on a different day said it was a burrito she would dream about. And they were 100% right. If you can, get there earlier in the serving period, because when they run out of ingredients they close. So worth the effort to go see if they are open!

The pollo asado burrito was the best burrito I've ever had! I added avocado 🥑 which is a must. It was fun to try out the different sauces. I also appreciated the eco friendly packaging - banana leaves and paper - and the helpful staff.

We had the most wonderful experience tonight in Mi Burrito. I got the vegan pachuco burrito + avocado for 170 total (~8 euro) and it was the best thing I’ve eaten in Mexico and the hands down the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. I highly recommend getting the pachuco as it was so flavourful and a welcome change from the typical veggie option of peppers/shared veggies etc. The manager (maybe owner?) was super welcoming and took the time to talk through the menu and sauces with us - all of which were delicious.

Wauw! The burritos were amazing. We had the combo chorizo with shrimps, something we would never choose without the tip of the owner. But this was the best burrito we ate in Mexico. The combo is so tasteful. The other taste was chicken with avocado. Also very good.

The owner of Mi Burrito absolutely won me over! The way he runs his restaurant, with so much energy, passion, and genuine care. Is truly inspiring. His entire team shares that same enthusiasm, and it really shows in the atmosphere and the food. Many of the ingredients are grown by the owner himself, and you can taste the difference. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The food quality was simply outstanding. As for drinks, I can only recommend trying the mango smoothie!

The staff was also very friendly and explained everything to us. It's also worth mentioning that the burritos are wrapped in banana leaves to reduce waste. A great idea. Great restaurant. Es un muy buen lugar para comer y la atención es buenísima, son muy amables. Los burritos no tienen un sabor muy mexicano, es más estilo gringo pero están buenos. Los precios son un poco elevados para o que yo pensaba, cada burrito está por los $240. Vi que el chico que atiende, no sé si está el dueño, hablaba muy bien inglés y francés, entonces es un lugar perfecto para extranjeros. Siendo yo mexicano me faltó un poco más de sabor y picante pero definitivamente es un lugar bastante higiénico y rico.

Pedí bowl del pollo, mi esposo burrito de carne. El sabor es regular, neutro, como para que a todo mundo le agrade algo del menú. Me parece algo caro pero está dirigido a extranjeros, creo que es muy difícil encontrar a un local comiendo en este lugar.

Estuvimos 8 días en Bacalar , y después de comer y cenar fuera todos los días. Este lugar fue el único que nos decepcionó. Pedimos un burrito de carne y otro de pollo y nos supieron exactamente igual, el sabor del arroz preparado con cúrcuma es lo que invade todo el burrito, ni la proteína y ni los extras que le puedes agregar alcanzaron a notarse. Muy lejos de lo que esperas de un burrito “Monchoso, “quesoso” con proteína generosa etc. supongo que buscan ser una propuesta más fresca, sana ,sustentable o algo así. Eso siempre es bienvenido, siempre y cuando esté sabroso. Estos burritos no lo estaban. Donde también pueden mejorar muchísimo es en la atención, al menos la mesera que nos atendió muy de mala cara desde el principio, se notaba que ya quería que nos fuéramos , supongo que por qué después de nosotros ya no dejaron entrar a nadie más y ya contaba los minutos para irse a descansar, al querer pagar nos aplicó el ya famoso ente los meseros “tengo problemas con mi terminal” para que hiciéramos el pago en efectivo. Afortunadamente traíamos.. Dejamos 10% de propina y cuando lo vio hizo de nuevo otra cara de molestia. En fin, en sabor, propuesta, y servicio hay MUCHAS opciones mejores en Bacalar.

I really wanted to enjoy this burrito restaurant, and in many ways, I did. The food itself was genuinely good, good enough that we came back a second time. Unfortunately, the overall experience was overshadowed by the service. From the start, the owner made us feel guilty for not knowing what the restaurant served, which set an uncomfortable tone. Even more concerning was how adamant he was about tipping. After I declined to tip, he must have said the word “service” around us five to ten times, which felt unnecessary and passive aggressive. I completely understand the importance of tipping, but in this case, there was no table service at all — they prepared the food, I paid, we ate, and left. Being made to feel guilty in that situation was uncomfortable and unexpected. The owner clearly has great energy and charisma, but it would be much better directed toward creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere rather than pressuring guests. It was also inconvenient that on our first visit we were required to pay cash, and there was uncertainty about whether they would accept credit cards. Overall, the food was good, but the service experience left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, because of how uncomfortable we felt, we won’t be returning.
