I hadn't been to an In-N-Out since late 2019... I'd kinda dropped off going to most fast food places since the early stages of the pandemic. I had just gotten my latest COVID shot at Kaiser Baldwin Park, and was feeling a little hungry and remembered there was an In-N-Out nearby (with the company store and In-N-Out University, no less) so I decided to get a cheeseburger. I may ruffle a few feathers, but I personally don't think In-N-Out makes the absolute best burgers... I've had bison burgers on brioche buns with bleu cheese and bacon and fig jam and balsamic rediction and micro-greens, which were *delicious* and *fancy*, but In-N-Out is the best at making In-N-Out burgers, which for a Southern California native like me are a distinct but quintessential category of food. I ordered a double-single (two patties, one slice of cheese) with extra grilled onions, fries, and a lemonade. It was fantastic. No, it was sublime. Perfectly toasted bun, two patties separated by a layer of melted cheese, with sauce, a generous helping of semi-caramelized onions, fresh lettuce, and tomato. For $2.30, they gave me at least an entire russet potato worth of fries (see picture for the massive stack). After four years without it, this meal immediately brought back fond memories. I sat on my own near the window facing the cash register, watching working folks, families, and high school students trickle in and make their orders. I thought about how mundane this day must be for most of them, and for the cashiers and kitchen staff who do this work day in and day out. Then I thought about how much I appreciated the employees' work, and also how weird it would have been for me to express my gratitude the way I felt it in that moment. (Shout out to Richard, who took my order... friendly and helpful and efficient... Keep up the good work!) If you happen to be in Baldwin Park, go there and get a burger, and reflect on what you are grateful for. The burger will no doubt be one of them. I hope the people around you are as well. (Also please get your COVID shots, so we can all keep enjoying the good things in life.)

I'm from the east coast of these were fab ulous. The sauce and onions did it for me. My sister loves there milkshakes. They were damned in good! Wish they would come east. Service fantastic, restaurants VERY clean!

IDK what you think but if you are looking for a decent burger than this is the right spot to start your journey! Classic American burger, this place specializes in burgers and burgers only!! Items on the menu will not disappoint you 😋 👌 Very good drive through!!! Fast and delicious 😋

For a fast food burger place, this was definitely a step above. They were slicing potatoes to make fries fresh! The burger was good. Special sauce is nice. Fresh and crisp lettuce. Nice looking tomato slices. You can tell they are only using quality ingredients and things are freshly make. The fries were crispy and well salted. Just made so still hot from the fryer but not greasy. The service was great! Everyone is helpful and pleasant. They have a larger parking lot, drive thru, indoor and outdoor seating at this location. There is also a little gift shop. It was a super nice quick lunch!

Your basic In-N-Out quality food here at the typical serving speed you expect, maybe a little bit faster. The big draw is going under the freeway and seeing the original In-N-Out drive-thru as well as driving around the neighborhood to the northwest which is where the corporate headquarters are. Open late night which is a good thing! They have covered patio seats out back which actually prefer to sit at as it's just much more calmer than inside. As this is the flagship store, they have a small gift shop to the north of the store. It is tons of t-shirts and stickers, keychains, things like that. Worth a visit! The gift shop closes at 5:00.

The food and drinks here seem slightly better than other In-N-Out stores, which are already great.

Incredible staff and atmosphere! After experiencing some LA rush hour, the staff and atmosphere here provided an uplifting and complete mood change with their charm, professionalism, and quality of meal provided. Was my family's first time at an In-n-Out Burger, and I know they'll remember this one forever. The food was well prepared, which really showed through its presentation and quality taste. Thank you for a wonderful family moment, everyone.

It was so nice to visit the original In N Out! They staff, as always, was super friendly. The service was super quick. We loved their outside wating area. It was very pretty and relaxing. We wish we wouldn't have visited on a Sunday though, visiting the corporate store would have been pretty great.

Heck yeah it’s In-N-Out! All you west coasters are lucky af and you guys know it. I’m all about the secret classic animal style on my cheeseburger and popping a ton of those little pickled chiles. Fries are kinda meh but do their job of being fries well overall. Took about 20ish mins to get our food eating in and the place was packed! Right next to the In N Out University. Who knew such a thing existed? Service and food were perfect. The drive through is well thought out. Off the 10 Freeway and super convenient.

I'm from Texas so I had really big expectations for this place and FINALLY, after refusing to try in Texas for so long, my girlfriend convinced me to try In and Out. It absolutely did not disappoint. This may be the best all around classic cheeseburger you'll ever have. Simple and delicious, great fries (ask for well done!), and quick service. Will be back.

In n out is always awesome. I recommend getting your cheeseburger animal style if you've never been here. Animal style = grilled onions, mustard grilled patty and more of their spread (a thousand Island sauce variant).

In and out University? Didn't know it was a thing lol. Anyways, super similar setup with the one in grand ave. When I came in, I was like, am I in grand ave? But hey, they we clean, quick, and professional. They kept the energy going and they welcomed everyone with their warm smile and so yea, still owning that in and out trade mark. They have outdoor seatings, but I wouldn't recommend using the drive thru. You got plenty of parking spots here, and getting your order to go might safe you some time then going for the drive thru.

Been eating at In-N-Out for 50 plus years! Love that it's freshly cooked crunchy lettuce, onions or grilled just right. Love the fries and as they say it's always quickly in and out! Also in this restaurant it was right next to the university of In-N-Out didn't know when existed and it's actually a store for In-N-Out merchandise so it's really cool

In-n-out is more reliable than most theories of science. Still gives you great value, great burgers and speedy, professional service. They are often busy but still deliver quickly. This location is no different in that regard but does have a Merchandise store on the premisses if you need to get your swag on.

When it comes to getting quality food, it's very rare that they fail. They didn't this time either. Came just before the after-school rush, so it got pretty noisy by the time we finished.

Felt a little nostalgic driving home from work, used to work at the in n out on the other side of the freeway back in the early mid 80s. Customer service shined flawless execution with the staff and prompt service. Spotless environment, even crowded.

This is the best one ever been to food is tasty they don't mess up and they give you slice chilis if you ask for them. The location on san bernardino rd in west covina is the worst

This is the first time I've been to an In-N-Out Burger and it is by far the best cheeseburger I have ever had. It's obviously a very popular location, so there was quite a crowd and a bit of a wait, but our server was friendly and the food was amazing. Prices were very reasonable. Difficult to find seating with how busy it was, but I would definitely like to go back again.

Last time they missed our orders and they gave us 2 burger cards as courtesy compensations. Now we claimed and they gave us set meals instead . What a surprise! Always, their employees keep the restaurant clean which I appreciate a lot. Try their not from the menu any Animal style burger. As usual, just like the regular hamburger with grilled onions and no spread.

I love the original In and out, I love going here because there's a rock form outside. While I'm waiting my food I'm playing with my RC.. Security very nice let me have it without saying nothing to me. I'll come back here anytime the best fast food...

Not as crowded as some other locations. Burgers are always fresh and tasty. Staff are polite and efficient. Parking lot is small, but the drive-thru is quick. Fun place for history buffs.

Dependably delicious every time. My new favorite order is: animal style, add raw onion and chilis. The chilis really bring it all together with a nice kick. Worth the wait!

The place is pretty clean. And the food taste fine as always. Just disappointed that the prices had to go up but the menu stays the same.

My go to is always double double protein style with chili’s and both onions. I tried fries well done, not for me but I’m glad they offer it. Great customer service and we saw that in n out university is here! Just love that everything is made to order.

Been to a couple In N Out Burgers but this one was my first So Cal experience. Honestly, it was super cool seeing the unique design, the tile by the entrance was super cool. Our dining room host was super nice and attentive. Unfortunately I didn’t remember his name but he was an older man. Parking was a little difficult to find and we ended up going to a public parking place but they only charge us like $4.50 so it’s fine. My only other complaint was the drive through was pretty tricky, but the great burgers made up for it. Food was great as always and the bathrooms and dinning room were clean. 10/10

I’ve always been a fan of In-N-Out—especially the burger and animal style fries—and the one thing I really appreciate is the consistency. This Baldwin Park location definitely delivers on that. Same great taste. One cool extra here is they’ve got a pretty big merch store. I didn’t expect that; I ended up walking out with a pair of socks, so that was a fun Also, just across the freeway, they’ve moved the original first In-N-Out building. Pretty cool to see if you’re into that kind of thing. Little bonus moment.

I doubt we will ever have In-N-Out back in the Philippines, so I'm glad I was able to get the opportunity to finally taste it. Is it as mouth-watering, gut-busting, and mind-blowing as the hype would have you believe? Totally not. But, it is a good solid burger in my book, and I hear they pay their employees well, while serving affordable burgers, so that was totally worth the trip. I'd get another one given the chance.

And it always amazes me how much with all the other fastfood restaurants moving towards automation that In-N-Out stays the same and still handles so many more customers with same old analog processes. I like coming to this in n out. Parking can be tight at times, but their drive through is ample. They have both indoor and outdoor seating the staff are friendly. The cool thing with this location is that there's an in n out museum/ store in the same parking. So you can pick up some cool merch (love their t shirts).

Great place to grab the iconic burger and fries 🍔🍟 Friendly service and consistently delicious food every time. The only downside is the drive-thru line and the terrible drivers in the area. People stopping their cars in the middle of nowhere is unacceptable you can’t park there and it creates unnecessary traffic issues. Food is worth it, just be prepared for the chaos outside.

This is the location that replaced the "updated" version of store #1... which which was lovingly restored back to its 1940's look..stop by and take a photo of the historic building. The food and the location, true to In-N-Out tradition, was PERFECT! And is a great pair to their service! Also on site is the In-N-Out University, where all employees are trained and welcomed into the In-N-Out "family." Remember, In-N-Out is STILL actually a family-owned businesses. Stop and visit the company store for any and all In-N-Out merchandise! I'll bet you'll leave with, at least, a t-shirt....

I've been to many in & out burgers all over but I am so lucky and glad I came to this particular location. It is truly the most efficiently organized and nicest service I have experienced. Not to mention the food. Okay I'll mention it. FANTASTIC!!! I do not understand way but theirs was a noticeable cut above. You would never think you'd close your eyes and savior the taste of a fast food burger. It was not only better than other I & O burgers it was the best fast food, or diner burger I've ever had. If I give through here again I will make sure to stop again.

The deive-thru was quick and efficient. The employees were all friendly, polite, courteous, and efficient. They got the order correct and the food tasted freshly made. None of it was pre-fab. They gave a paper mat for eating in the car, which is a huge plus! The brand identification is excellent and the highway sign made it easy to identify and locate.

2nd time visiting an in-n-out... the sandwich was really good, the fries were less than mid, very dry and cardboardy tasting 😩, overall the customer service was outstanding and the burger sauce...🔥

First time in California and delighted to discover that In-N-Out Burger lives up to the hype! Simple menu, fresh ingredients (watching them dice up and fry the potatoes is a kick) and clean, relaxed atmosphere made for a pleasant dining experience. Brittany and the rest of the staff who served us went above and beyond. This is the flagship store and you can tour a replica of the ORIGINAL In-N-Out Burger right across the highway🍔 The only reason for the four star review is that we were traveling through with a small child and found no changing areas in the rest room. Definitely worth pulling off here for a quick bite. They even have a mercy store and some type of “university”/office building.

As always, the food it's good and a service is great. This place is nice and clean, and next to it, it's a Universal City of In and Out. It's a gift shop which I recommend you stop by sometime

They are all pretty consistent on their products taste. Since they deal in a high volume you will for the most part get a good tasting item. The line here us long. Someone was outside taking preorders, but it really didn't speed up the wait. Maybe it was a staffing issue, because we did not see many working. Make sure you check your items. You can't back up in drive through, so they had to come out and give us the remainder or our order.

Tried the double double animal style with fries done animal style also. This place may have been a little over rated to me but still a good burger. Need to try it again to really see. This location also has a merch store and is just down the street from the original in n out that you can tour.

The Best In-n-Out location. This is the location of the original In-n-Out in Baldwin Park. They now have a museum and the University. The food here is excellent with fresh ingredients. The dining area and restrooms are very clean and sanitized. The Double Double Cheeseburgers are the best. I love the Neopolitan shakes. The only negative I can say about the food are the French fries. They are freshly cut daily, but they lack flavor. It could be the oil they use to deep fry them. They have never been good. A lot of people put the Animal style on them but I don't like my fries all gooked up. This location is also very popular so the wait times for in dining and drive-thru are longer than other locations.

The Baldwin Park “corporate” location is consistently consistent. Plenty of outdoor seating for dining with the pup. There’s some homeless people occasionally but they have a security guard. There’s a gift shop that sells merch and a recreation of the original location around the corner. Down the street is their fleet maintenance yard and property development office on Hamburger Ln.

Basically the only IN N Out to go to. Once you have experienced IN N OUT in LA, it's hard to think about those "other" fast food places in these UNITED STATES and especially NYC. This was the first time I saw a restaurant with a Green A rating. I didn't even know that was a ranking till I came here. 🤣 . Great customer service. Immaculately clean. So clean that the staff reminded me of my trips to Japan and how they take keeping their restaurants clean to another level. And yes, the burgers are consistently Wonderful!

Dont understand the hype behind in n out. This was not a good bite at all. Fries were half cooked, unseasoned and not crispy. The toppings were okay at best.

Order was done incorrectly. Was very detailed with my order. Felt like the food was over cooked. With buns being crispy. Meat didn't taste the same. Received one of my drinks half way full.

Every time I order at In-N-Out, I specifically say “no spread, no spread”—clearly and more than once. And yet, almost every single time, my order still comes with spread. Do they not understand what “no spread” means? If such a basic request can’t be understood or followed, what’s the point of even having that conversation at the counter? I’m honestly tired of it. This has happened multiple times. I say no spread, they still add it. Then I have to go back, explain again, and wait all over again for a new one. And sometimes they just scrape it off and hand it back, which obviously still leaves traces on the food—that’s not acceptable. I end up wasting more time every visit just trying to get a simple request done right. If you can’t handle basic customizations, why even bother asking customers what they want?

Horrible experience at the University In-N-Out location in Baldwin Park. This was in my fries. A piece of the serving fries scooper, unacceptable and very disappointed. I am so lucky i didn't slice mouth into pieces.

If you’re ordering your food here between 6p-10p check your order. The staff during that time does a half ass job. They don’t respect modifications or the quality. Either fries are cold or undercooked or missing items or wrong items. I’ve ordered plenty during that time and they always mess up so check your order!
