We love visiting Bandera tx this time of year and this is one of the places we always stop for a cold drink, appetizers and music. Great atmosphere.

A tiny hole in the wall but damn it was fun! Staff was great! Food was good and drinks too. Small dance floor and great band called Tailgaters was playing. Will definitely go back.

If you just want a good old Texas saloon that serves food....well....here ya go. The food is good and beer is cold. Full bar. They do allow smoking inside most of the bars in the town.

The kickback is a great place the owners,workers,customers are all great people. Being from out of state they treated us like friends,,, especially the owners treated us as family!!!! We loved it so much we are going back for a full week!!!!

Went here for a night out. We met the owner and some friends of his sitting a the table next to us, we felt right at home with Texas charm and outgoing personality. They highly recommended their food. We just had some appetizers and they were delicious. They had a great country band, they sang a Sawyer Brown tune and I swear it was awesome. We travel full-time in an rv and love the town of Bandera...some would not worry about it, but no one seemed concerned about covid, not one person wore a mask, we appreciated the openness but we did not appreciate people coughing in our face. We might not be ready for this level of social living. It did feel good to be around people and this was a place we would to go to again.

Came by after a 3 hour horseback ride. I had the Kickback burger and onion rings, everything was excellent, possibly the best I have ever had. I Highly recommend.

Not your date night dinner destination, but food not bad. Mostly bar food, but that's ok. GREAT band. If you see Rebel Roxie playing somewhere ..... Go see and enjoy the music.

Our experience was definitely a 5 star visit. BBQ sandwich is delicious! Our waitress was phenomenal! She totally rocked it and I recommend this place if ever in town again.

Great music and Fantastic Bartenders

Booked a weekend getaway in banderas and decided to stay at the bunkhouse on the main. (Which is feet from the kickback Korner) Being that it was so close to where I was staying I decided to hit up the kickback korner as my last stop of the night (just in case I needed to crawl back) Well that Was a big mistake. I truly wish I would have started the night at the kickback and I’m sure I wouldn’t have left the entire night.. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiling happy faces and people singing and dancing having a great time. I couldn’t help myself and I also started dancing and singing having a great time… It turned out being one of the greatest nights in banderas I’ve ever had!!! Even met the owners of the bar (Super sweet couple) Who were there also having a great time with everyone. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Looking forward to my next trip to banderas and the kickback korner is definitely the spot I will be starting my night off at.

I was there for lunch on Mother's Day. So, I was the only one in there LoL. But the place is really cool. Had a burger and fries that was fantastic. I would recommend.

Awesome place! Great food and the atmosphere is great too. They havd out door dinning too which is great during the fall season right now. They also have a stage where a band plays and there is a dance floor too. Definitely coming back. I had the steak sandwich and is the best dang steak sandwich I have ever had!

Awesome, laid back vibe. Friendly and attentive service. TVs to watch all the sports. Eclectic crowd at midweek happy hour. Two bar counters, tables inside, more seating on the patio. Hubby and I both had burgers and fries, which were Great! This is an awesome place for grownups to go for a beer and a burger. Definitely recommend.

We liked it so much we had lunch and supper there yesterday. The prices were reasonable and the waitress Jessica was very attentive to us. The food was delicious 😋 I decided to try it for myself and let me tell you it was worth it. My boyfriend had the burger and he said it’s one of the best he’s ever had.

Great food, friendly people. Got into town after a 12 hour flight, and couldn't have found a better place. "Work hard, play hard" is on display here. So glad to see the the US flag proudly displayed. Fantastic band.

Great food, only knock would be the length of time to get the food. But worth the wait in a nice place with a live band. Owner happened to be sitting next to us and let us know each food item was personaly designed. You can see the love for his small bar. Would highly recommend. Fyi just like everywhere the slow service was probably not his fault as it's next to impossible to get employees to work.

This is a friendly and open place with a nice patio outside Music 3 or 4 days out of the week. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 cuz the price could be a little bit better but not bad.

Whatever you get, cover it with the jalapeño gravy! Good was good and service was pretty good. Definitely what you want in bar food. Soda was not mixed right though. That was a bummer.

I love this place it's just like the name kickback corner nice place to kick back never any trouble the band that is there quite often it's freaking awesome good food decent prices and there's always a pool table open they have a ramp at the entrance way for wheelchair accessibility it's just all around a great place

Not too many choices in Bandera. Customer service here is non exciting. Make sure you get your order in the first time. The cook is extremely friendly he needs a shot at managing.. he made a hell of BLT Seems like no one really cares too much for new folks here. But great that they sit and chat with local folks. There was a three piece band on and the music was good . Jacob the bartender was top dollar great knowledge of beers and really switched on. Food was home cooked tasty and no complaints. All in it was really nice experience.

We stopped here for late lunch, about 2 pm or so. The burger was very good. We had a couple of beers and sat on the patio. The cigarette smoke was a bit overwhelming inside the building, so the outside was better. There were very few parking places so we had to park down a side street and walk back. Overall, it's not a bad place.

I used to love coming here, then their menu started deprecating, service went downhill, and then they removed the damn pool tables!!!! What bar in texas REMOVES THE POOL TABLES?!?!?!?!! PUT EM BACK!

Came for the poker run but decided to support the business by ordering 3 burgers. My boyfriend got the wrong order twice. He decided to just eat it since he’s a diabetic and needed to eat by now. The food is good but it was just disappointing to get the order wrong twice.

Great outdoor patio on a great spot on Main St to eat and watch the world go by. The menu is varied but the wait staff is very slow so you better have lots of time. At night it kind of turns in to a bar atmosphere. So it kind of have the best of both worlds.

The service is fantastic! But the band was way too loud! Can't have any kind of conversation while the band is playing. It was so loud that everyone in my party was plugging their ears.

I gave three stars because of the smoking that was allowed inside. The music was good and the drinks were reasonably priced.

When you have to wait in line for straight up water from the well and there are 3 people behind the bar...not coming back. Plus COLD burgers, fries and fried pickles. Don't bother

First off, lunch, two sandwiches. Fries or chips included. We both chose chips. Out of chips, really? So we ended up with fries. Mediocre, Luke warm. Ordered soup of the day, chili base, fantastic. Main course, cheese steak sandwich and a Ruben. Again both Luke warm, both very Chency on ingrediants. Service was good. Our 1st time, disappointing we will give it another try. I can confess if I want a sandwich I will be heading to Fat Boys. Best in town.

Complete rip off. If you're not local don't bother. Apparently charging $13 for a double Jack and Coke is ok. Maybe the server was trying to make up for her losses on the gambling machine that was more important than the out of towners. If you haven't guessed it, I wouldn't recommend.

Bartender was very rude. She didnt let us order at the bar but she was letting other people order they're. She never came to our table except to come slam our beers on the table when we ordered. we will never go there again. We left no tip

Smoking all over the place, not clean and when I asked to see a game on one of the tv’s- was told no… even though no one was watching the tvs. Broke the smoking laws also- very disappointing.

Ordered tacos which was the special and my husband ordered chicken tenders. We were the first people to order. People came in later and ordered. Because there were only 3 people when we got there. Everybody got their order but us. It took 1 1/2 hours. The food sucked! Didn't eat it!

If I was permitted to give them zero stars, I would. My wife and I used to come in this place when It was called a chicken coop and enjoyed its atmosphere and food Unfortunately, the new owner appears to be using frozen meat for the burgers. The BLT was OK, but at nearly 10.00 each, I expected better food. But, The real problem came when they gave us our bill, we had ordered a BLT and a cheeseburger along with two glasses of water. When they brought us our bill there was a 4.00 charge for two bottles of water. Upon notifying the bartender of the error, she stated it was not an error and they charge two dollars a glass for tapwater. I asked how they could do that when there was no notification either on the menu or from the person taking our order that there would be a charge for tapwater. Her response was that the owner had informed them to charge for tapwater because they are in hard times. If they are cutting corners by charging people for water I hate to see what they’re doing in the kitchen. I fully understand, but they may want to charge for a plastic glass and ice, But they should notify the customer in advance and surely not charge the same amount that they would for a bottle of water. I’m also curious to know if you ask for a glass of ice for your drink are they going to charge you an extra $2.00 Shame shame shame

Probably the worst service I have ever experienced. Very patience then after more than an hour asked about our food. Oops, waitress never placed order. Got a big 10% discount on drink tap. If visiting Bandera, don't waste your time.

Extremely slow service. We stopped here for lunch on a Monday. There were very few people and yet we waited an hour for a simple club sandwich and fries. Iced tea tastes like it is week old. The entire place allows smoking so it was difficult to find a spot to eat without the smell of cigarettes permeating your meal. Tourists beware!!!

Save yourself the trip if you have anyone under 21, the sign says no minors so I assumed my 20 yr old would be fine. A minor being under the age of 18. Even though they check your id at the bar, she wasn’t allowed in so we (8 of us) left. I’ll spend my money somewhere else. Please update your signage to save others the heartburn. No idea on service or food so I won’t rate them.

After a Saturday (11/13/21) of shopping my friends and I were excited to try Kickback Korner for a drinks and late lunch. At 2pm it was not real busy. We were not greeted so we found a table on the patio. Two other tables were occupied on patio and they both had food and drinks. After 10 minutes I went inside and told bartender that we had a table of 4 and wanted to order drinks and food. She gave me 4 menus and said that she would come take our order soon. We were seated for 30 minutes but never waited on. Left and went to TJ’s and had great drinks, food AND excellent service!

The most racist experience I have ever had in my life! I guess if your white your right and if your anything else they kick you out paying customer and all! Owner attempted to be cordial but in the end when I pointed out the racial treatment he denied it (obviously) still kicked us out just the absolute worst night/experience of my life!

From the moment we arrived, the service was disappointing. We ordered palomas and they were honestly terrible. When we decided to leave, we politely said goodbye as we walked out. From a distance, we heard people shouting — at first, we thought they were saying goodbye back — but instead, they came out angry, accusing us of taking drinks outside. We did not take any alcoholic drinks with us. The only thing we had was a bottle of water, and our drinks were left inside on the table. The man who came out spoke to us very aggressively and with a rude attitude. When we clearly showed that we didn’t take anything, neither he nor the woman apologized. They just walked away upset as if we were the problem. No professionalism. No respect. This is my fourth time visiting Bandera, and I’ve been to several bars here with great experiences — except for this one. Based on the customer service alone, Kickback Korner Bar and Grill absolutely deserves the rating I’m giving it. Very disappointing.
