I love the cowboy pizza here. They have some really tasty pizza and I have never had a bad pizza here. There is one single person bathroom here. You won't regret coming here.

The pizza is so good and fresh tasting! They do over a bar on the other side and happy hour. It does get busy! Go a bit before 6!

We only had a couple of good tasting pizzas, but was greeted by outstanding customer service from Mr. Terry and the rest of the crew.

The salmon salad I'd EXCELLENT! Portions large. Small but excellent choice of wine and beer. Customer Service is excellent! A definite MUSTY place! Must return.

When Gringo’s went under, we’d kinda held a grudge against the Dough Joe for taking over its space, but today we took a chance and I’m so glad we did! The service was so wonderful, I believe our server was Shannon? So kind and friendly. We got the boneless wings and a Greek pizza. The flavors of the pizza were comforting and lovely, but those are some amazing wings!!! Perfectly crisp on the outside and so tender inside, honestly the highlight of the meal. Definitely recommend!!

We ordered via the QR at the 11th St Cowboy pop up not realizing they closed for the night. We shrugged it off. But guess they saw our order and called and texted if we were still there and delivered to our table. Best service ever and yummy as well. We were impressed by the tenacity and service. 10 stars and plan to order again.

We had the Greek pizza, also called the Mediterranean pizza on the menu online, and it was fabulous. Thin, thin crust, olive oil, artichoke hearts, feta cheese, other veggies, not overloaded. Absolutely delicious. We loved it. Service was timely friendly, really nice. Atmosphere is simple, friendly as it should be.

Had salads first, very inexpensive and delicious hommade ranch. Loved the thin crust pepperoni. Real cheese and very very good. Nice folks too.

This place was such an amazing find! I can not eat gluten, so most pizza places end up off my list because of the options available. I looked up the menu for Dough Joe and noticed gluten-free pizza. I am so glad I went here. Not only did they have a lot of delicious Pizzas, but they also took the gluten allergy seriously. They prepared my pizza carefully to avoid any cross-contamination. They even used a different pizza slicer to ensure my pizza didn't become contaminated from other pizzas that contain gluten. I ordered the "chicken bacon ranch" pizza with BBQ sauce instead of the white sauce (contains gluten), and it was hands down one of the best gluten free Pizzas I've eaten. I will definitely be returning to dine here quite a bit. If you are gluten sensitive, make sure your server knows about it, and they'll make sure the kitchen makes accommodations when they prepare your food. I didn't have any reactions after eating here. Thank you, Dough Joe, for taking precautions the way you do. It is rare to find a restaurant that does all of that.

This is the neatest place with the coolest ambience. They have unique pizzas and great apps, along with tasty coffees and libations. Every visit here has been fabulous- they truly have the whole vibe going on here. Their service and attitude is what elevates ordinary experiences to extraordinary ones. Please be advised they serve thin style crust not the thick kind which seems to be an issue for some of the vocal*locals. I recco the artichoke dip, served piping hot to your table with nice warm chips and reasonably priced compared to other places close by. The pizzas are fun , unique, and the salads are always fresh and delicious. They even have breakfast pizzas all day every day! The waitstaff are top notch always. If that’s as important to you as it has become to me, rest assured your whole fam is in good hands here. They also have outdoor area seating where you can sit and enjoy the breeze and the lights of Main Street.

Found Dough Joe on Google maps and it was excellent. You have to order at the register and then you can sit down. The servers were very friendly. However while we were waiting for our pizza people were coming and going in and out of the door. So this place is obviously popular. The crust on the pizza was excellent. The cheese and the meats were very tasty. We certainly will be back.

Best garlic based wings recipe ever--Garlic Ghost Pepper sauced!! Homemade ranch...breakfast all day...homemade pizza dough too. Got eggs-benedict pizza and it was sooooo good...toppings evenly dispersed and great flavor profile throughout. These folks obviously care about what they are doing...the got order for 18 pizzas as I left-if that tells ya anything!! Enjoy

We were in a situation where we needed to feed 30 hungry men and women and this place came through in a huge way. I actually got many “thank you” and “great choice”. I’ve been all over trying pizza. NYC, Chicago, etc. and Dough Joe is my favorite. I was skeptical because it used to be a gas station but don’t let that hold you back. Even their cauliflower crust got raving reviews.

My wife and I recently visited The Dough Joe, arriving about 15 minutes before closing. Despite the late hour, Tori greeted us with a warm, upbeat attitude and treated us as if we were her first guests of the day rather than her last. Throughout our visit, Tori provided truly excellent service. She never made us feel rushed or unwelcome; instead, she went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our time and had everything we needed. Her positive energy and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on both of us. Tori’s attentiveness and professionalism turned what could have been a hurried experience into one of comfort and delight. She embodies what great customer service should be, and it’s because of her outstanding care that we will continue to come back to The Dough Joe. The pizza was awesome had a plethora of options and was very affordable for a 16" pie. The chilled ranch is also really good. The service was top notch, super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very cool the building appeared to be an old gas station.

This was our first time visiting Dough Joe in Bandera. We came in for lunch on a weekday. The location is easy to find, but the building needs a facelift . There was no wait and we sat down immediately. Service was friendly & fast Our food came out quickly & correctly. Our salads were fresh and made with quality ingredients, dressing was good. Our pizza was actually really good . The sauce wasn't too sweet, Dough was cooked well & not chewy . the toppings tasted fresh. As pizza snobs from Chicago, we both enjoyed DoughJoes pizza!

Very nice spot to chill for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have outside seating available, I dinned with my dog. The property is clean & well maintained inside & out. The food was delicious. The service was fast & the staff were very personable. They have a separate menu for coffee, energy drinks, & alcohol. It's right across from a gas station & discount store. This is perfect for travellers looking for a good place to rest & have a good meal. I'm very pleased.

This establishment is owned and run by the nicest people. I showed up in the rain with a bus full of 50 hungry 8th graders and these kind people never batted an eye, despite the fact that it was lunch hour and their indoor capacity was already pretty full. They put an immediate order in, wiped down their outdoor tables, and even set up a tent so that we could eat outside. The service was quick and friendly, and all of my kids were happy and satisfied. Plus, the food was delicious. The cheese and pepperoni pizzas were scarfed up, and we also enjoyed salads, wings, and soup. I personally really enjoyed the chicken ranch pizza and buffalo chicken pizza. Everyone I worked with was so kind and a great example of Texas hospitality. We will definitely be back to Bandera and back to The Dough Joe!

Stopped by here on a whim while camping on a chilly night. Got a terrific pizza, tasty wings, and enjoyed a coffee at the bar while watching football. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Really pleasant and unexpected place.

Love it!!! My first time to check this out after hearing about how great it was. First off, Terry was our server and was extremely friendly and accommodating!! The entire staff we dealt with were great! The restaurant was clean, cool and relaxing. I got the personal size bbq chicken with pineapple pizza with added purple onion. For all you pizza purists out there, I realize y’all will balk on that combo, but that’s what struck “my curiosity bell” that day……and I wasn’t disappointed!! It was excellent!! The Uncle Chris’s flavored wings were tasty as well. Will definitely give them our business again!! Check them out next time you’re in Bandera!!

Stopped by unexpectedly after the catchy name caught my attention. I was also interested as they advertised both pizza and coffee which is a different combination. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. The menu was straight-forward with a nice variety of pizzas, some salads, wings, and drinks. I ordered a few pizzas from the pepperoni, supreme, and the cowboy. I also ordered the blackened salmon & spinach salad and the house salad. While waiting for my pizza, I walked to the little sitting area where the coffee and teas are made. I'm not a coffee drinker, so ordered the iced matcha latte which was very good. Even though not a coffee drinker, I noticed they press all the coffee beans as the order is made, so can't get any fresher than that. As far as the pizza, it was a nice thinner and crispy crust. I wouldn't call it a thin crust, but definitely much thinner than the larger franchise places that have thick doughy crusts. The pizzas were also made to order, the ingredients were very fresh, and generous with the toppings. The biggest surprise for me was the blackened salmon & spinach salad. I was hesitant to order salmon from a pizza place, but if they can pull off coffee and pizza, why not salmon. I'm glad I did was the salmon was a nice thick slice and very flavorful. It went well with the spinach and the vinaigrette dressing. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in Bandera to try some of the other menu items.

WOW THIS PIZZA IS AMAAAAAZING. So. Good. So glad to know this place is here. The Greek pizza is one of the best I have *EVER* had anywhere. We will DEFINITELY be back. I assumed the chicken bacon ranch would be dense and leave me feeling heavy but it’s so well done with quality ingredients - it feels fresh and delicious. Wish it was a bit cuter inside like it is outside but also who cares when the pizza sends you to another world.

Delicious pizza. Me and my wife both enjoyed the Greek pizza and the chicken bacon ranch pizza with the ranch substituted with bbq sauce. We had a small salad in addition, and we didn't leave stuffed but satisfied so it was a good amount of food.

I could tell as soon as we walked in it was going to be a great experience. Staff was absolutely fantastic, very nice, and very attentive. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza. The jalapeños were very fresh and thin, and it was very authentic overall. Will definitely go back there. The atmosphere was also very warm and vintage, it was giving me 70’s vibes. Loved it, 100% recommend.

I have passed this place many times and it never really interested me. Coffee and pizza? Lol. BUT, WOW!!!! Today, I decided to try it. My mother wanted pizza and it was open. …. I was so SURPRISED walking in.. The young lady at the register said an authentic,”Hello”(with a smile! For real. She offered me a menu and let me take it outside to show my mom, so I came back in and placed the order. I ordered a Large Supreme, the pizza was the exact price from the menu, the place smelled delicious and was so clean. When I got home and opened that box; it really was beautiful, all meats and veggies were spaced perfectly and the BEST part of all was the TASTE… OMG!!!! It was better than this pizza I had eaten in an upstate pizza place. Absolutely the most delicious pizza I have had in years!!! I will definitely be back. I am going to share picks because even the box has a cute little perforation for someone to take a picture with. I haven’t been this impressed by a place in quite some time. If ever in Bandera, TX on Main Street; give this place a try. If I could rate a 10, I would. So 5 stars easy!!!! I had a personal pizza and I have to say it was one of the best I have had in years. Lots of options including build your own. You can tell the ingredients are a step up from diner quality for sure. Service was excellent. Parking is a little difficult, considering it's right on main street. However it is worth it. One of the better places to eat hands down.

Great place for pizza. We've only done takeout here. Our favorite is "The Cowboy" pizza... always hot and fresh. They take online orders and you can quickly earn points that actually matter towards future purchases. We haven't tried the coffee offerings. They also have a bar which offers draft beer and other choices. Cold draft beer in a chilled glass.

Everything we had here was delicious. The housemade Raspberry Lemonade was flavorful and still tart. The Honeycomb latte was wonderful. And Jalapeno Popper pizza was amazing. Fun little spot, pretty interesting how well they maximized the space from being a gas station. I have to eat gluten free and had just had pizza for lunch too, but ended up getting the greek on the cauliflower with 5 bone in garlic parmesan wings. The quality difference of their pizza vs the one I had earlier was so much I completely didn't care about having pizza twice in one day, and the chicken was just the right amount of crunchy/juicy. I'd been eyeing the Greek salad but wanted some bread, and whatever cauliflower they use is hardly detectable as gluten free besides the visual difference. I would definitely eat here again when swinging through, I want to try the gelato next time around.

I tried The Dough Joe on a whim one week while I was in town for work. For 11:30 on a Wednesday it was rather busy, but I got to pick where I sat and started to look over the menus. I explained I’d never been there before, but that I’ve heard about the cauliflower crust. I got recommended on a few pizzas, but ended up going with a half and half personal breakfast pizza! Half eggs benedict, half steak and eggs. It was an experience to say the least, and I still have yet to go back for another round. But, I know the possibilities are endless and I look forward to visiting again soon!

This place is a must stop if you're in Bandera. Nice variety of pizzas including cauliflower crust and breakfast pizza. I ordered the margherita pizza and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the BBQ chicken pizza. My sister got that one and really enjoyed it. We've also had the cowboy pizza which is really good. They also have amazing sangria and margaritas. I was greeted with the same energy as my first visit, and the food and drinks were just as good as my first time here. I can't wait until the next Bandera trip so I can stop in for more great food and great service. This is a great spot for wings, pizza, and drinks! Great service and great location right in the heart of the city! Ordered a customized salmon pizza, and it was phenomenal! This was a great stumble-upon when passing through Bandera and the best quality food I've found in the town. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Seating indoors seemed chill, but I opted to sit on the patio picnic tables and enjoy the downtown street vibe. While the only one out there, I was never forgotten. The drink prices were great, and while my bartender/waitress said she hadn't made many Long Islands before, she nailed it, and I enjoyed two at five bucks a pop, the standard signature cocktail price. Not bad. My Greek pizza was great! I really enjoyed the texture and thickness of the standard crust, and the toppings were very fresh tasting, well distributed and generous without going overboard. Kudos, and I'll be back!

Stopped here for breakfast, we ordered the classic breakfast pizza with chorizo and eggs over easy. The ingredients used are fresh and go really well with a pizza for breakfast! We also ordered the chips, salsa & queso dip. I was not a big fan of the salsa but the queso was good 😌. I dipped my pizza crust in the queso dip and it was a solid combo. Also, their coffee menu was impressive, I had the cappuccino .. it was 🤌🏼

The pizza, absolutely freaking delicious! The staff are attentive and absolutely attentive. And yes I am one of "those people" who like pineapple on their pizza. Getting your pie to go is the way to go at this place as the ambiance or decorations are non existent. You would think a small cowboy town pizza place would have some kind of signature decor, but at this place.... That's a no. All in all, the pizza is wonderful, fantastic even! The staff is great. I would totally recommend 1000%

First time trying this place and such great tasting pizza! We ordered the 10 inch Buffalo Chicken pizza (my favorite) and the 10 inch Margherita pizza, both were delicious. I also ordered a dirty chai. Although it could have had more of a chai flavor, it was good. The service was great and the pizza didn't take long to bring out. We'll definitely be stopping by again!

They make an excellent pizza although the crust could have been a tad more crispy. The wait staff was a tad overwhelmed but did get my order out and correct. As far as atmosphere goes, it's a cinder block building with a good kitchen and a small bar.

The pizza ingredients are generous and so as the size. The steak and egg is equally good.

Pizza was good, it had about an inch of crust where they didn't spread out the sauce, cheese and the toppings. Paid for a 10 inch and received 8 instead due to the extended crust.

It's pizza in an old gas station, and the pizza kinda tastes like that. I'm not sure why it's rated as well as it is. I assume that's just a small town, tourist mindset that caused that. The pizza wasn't bad, but it's nothing special.

Usually love this place. Not a good day. Waitress out order in incorrectly and while she fixed it- the rest of us got old cold pizza. We had to get up and get our own napkins. We weren’t asked if we wanted additional water or coffee.

Pizza was good but wasn't ready when I got there for pickup, even though I ordered online an hour before. Also ordered Xtra Hot boneless wings but when i opened the container the wings were dry as a bone without a drop of sauce or dry rub.

This place has decent pizza but they ripped me off. EVERYONE at my table got free refills. I had an Arnold Palmer for my drink. I was not told they charge $4.00 per refill!!!! $12 for drinks and not a words of warning? Be careful if you eat here. They'll rip you off.

Called in an order at Dough Joe's this morning for an Ultimate Breakfast Bowl with fresh jalapenos. Was asked how I wanted my eggs cooked so I said scrambled. Picked it up and went back to my shop. When I opened it and started eating I noticed there are absolutely NO EGGS OR JALAPENOS AT ALL. $13 plus for a small portion of mixed meat, mushrooms, a few small hashbrowns with green pepper and onion. NEVER AGAIN!!! To their credit when I called to complain they offered to remake it but I didn't have time for that. Don't think I will be going back any time soon.

Terrible service with fruit flies flying around everywhere. Also they allow dogs in there which is a big no-no from the health department.
