Extremely pleased with the service. As soon as I pulled up to the drive thru, I was greeted by a male's voice and asked for a moment. Most places just let you sit there in silence. When they were ready, the most pleasant woman's voice came on the speaker to take my order. Her voice was inviting and so respectful. When I pulled up to the window, I was greeted with another happy employee. Keep up the great work guys! I know customers can be very difficult and rude, but just know that there are people out there like me that appreciate what you do!
Food is good but it seems the recipe for the chicken soft taco has changed and the rice was crunchy. Fajita cabana bowl was delicious and I reccomend it.
Please! Please! Please, expand this business across the country. This quick order Mexican food joint has far better food than even the fanciest Mexican restraunts in WA, lol. Every single item I have ever had from their menu is spot-on! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, midnight snack? Taco Cabana is my first stop if I'm near one!
The employees are always friendly and welcoming. Drive through gets backed up and takes a long time but if you dine in it’s usually quick and easy!
This is a great place that serves great food.It has always been fresh,clean great fresh food items every time.We love this place since they opened in the 1980's. From breakfast,lunch to quick dinner's..It's good!

We stopped on a holiday and ordered alot of food. The wait wasnt too long and the food was great. I got sidetracked and didnt even touch my meal until it had been sitting for nearly an hour, and it was delicious still! Even my toddlers who at it fresh were going to chow town. My fiancé is picky but the bean and cheese tacos were perfect for her. A dozen tacos for 16.99! Awesome deal and awesome service, especially for a holiday where few other places were open.
So yesterday I went to taco cabana for lunch. I had the beef faijita plate 🍽. It was good. The service at this taco cabana location is good. I will definitely return to this taco cabana location
Just in awe of the customer service I received. All staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a large party show up and we all felt very cared for. Highly recommend especially during f happy hour!!
Thank you Taco Cabana! We had an awesome time at the Oma’s Christmas Fair and needed to pick up dinner for family and friends. The manager went above and beyond to prepare our food while we enjoyed our margaritas. Super impressed with customer service and quality of our food. I would definitely keep them in mind for your next family meal.
Sorry, not sorry. I am a true Taco Cabana fan. It was always my first and last restaurant to eat at when visiting Texas and living in Texas now my love affair has not ended. Is it fancy, no. Is it delicious, yes. I'm glad the salsa bar is making a return and especially thankful the green sauce is back! That double crunch pizza is delicious. It surprised me how good it is.
A couple of Sundays ago I was dropped off at the #247 location taco cabana and accidentally left my wallet in the car. The nice young man behind the counter was so courteous and kind that he bought my taco and coffee for me. That was an amazing act for him to do for me. I talked to the manager, who was also kind, and praised him and his staff. The store was so clean and all of the staff were smiling and genuinely happy to help. Orders were made quickly and with a smile. The salsa bar was always full and if a table was empty it was cleaned and put back in order. The store was always clean. I can’t say enough good things about the young man named Levi Van Dyne who didn’t have to do what he did or his manager who was also kind and had pride in his staff and rightly so. I wish I could do more to compliment this store and Sunday staff. They were great. Thanks for the good deed.

Lydia the manager, her father and mother all contribute to the wonderful experience. They do an excellent job at making you feel welcome. And the happy hour margaritas after 4 ($2.00) are delicious, so don’t get carried away. I have to set myself a limit of 2 per visit.
Super fast authentic Mexican food. They serve beer, rum punch and margaritas. Food great. Great place for a quick bite. They have outdoor and indoor seating. They also have a tv. Great prices.Nachos were homemade with beef and cheese. So yummy.

It's really nice to go to Taco Cabana because you can bring your dog and sit outside if you want. If you are allergic to dogs, you can sit inside. There is a bit of a wait if you go to different locations of Taco Cabana's, but here they gave us our food really fast.
Felt like i needed to share... We stopped by last night. A VERY rude costumer came in and the manager handled it very well and respectfully. I honestly felt bad for her bc the customer was treating her like a dog. Then the customer came back and threatened to get her fired. Over some sauce. She deserves a raise!! She is always sweet and kind when i come in. All the staff last night were awesome!!
I hardly ever leave reviews especially at fast food locations lol but the wonderful soul Karl is my favorite person to see when I do come here. I work in Boerne and the service at this location has been awful in the mornings but I’ve had the pleasure of being served by Karl twice and it’s always left me feeling like there is just a little more light to my day. Please please please give him kudos for a job well done! I came today and got 2 bean & cheese, 3 flautas, and a lime marg!

This is definitely the best Taco cabana. The best steak fajita tacos,service clean and just awesome. I found the best time for the best food is between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. Keep up the great work!!
I stopped by Taco Cabana around 9pm and I have to say Lydia is an absolute standout. She had the biggest, friendliest smile that lit up the whole place. Even during the late dinner rush she was effortlessly juggling orders, coaching the other staff, and keeping everything running smooth without missing a beat. My food came out fast and perfect. Lydia told me she commutes to the Boerne location because she loves the Hill Country and the amazing people here. You can tell she truly cares! Her energy and kindness turned an ordinary dinner into the best part of my night after a long day. If you’re anywhere near Boerne, do yourself a favor and stop by to see Lydia and the fantastic team at Taco Cabana.
Great Quality and Price for a "Fast" Mexican Restaurant. I've been using Taco Cabana to get my "Quick Mexican Fixes" for years now and this particular location is a regular haunt of mine when I'm traveling between Fredericksburg and San Antonio. The service is always outstanding and the restaurant is clean. There's never too long a wait, even at peak times and the food is of a consistently good quality. If you're passing this place on I-10 and you have a hankering for Mexican food, this is the place to stop.
The taco salad is huge. I had steak; my wife had chicken. The refried beans were okay but my wife subbed black beans, and hers tasted really good.
Great food, excellent menu selection, nice people. But if only the could fix their drive-thru problems. Be prepared to sit for 15 minutes or more even if there's only one or two cars in line. Sometimes it's fast but that's the exception. The app has good rewards, although for some reason, the app scanning doesn't work so you have to take pics of your receipt. And don't use the app to preorder. They are not set up for it -- took about half an hour to get my food. On the positive side, they do serve beer and margaritas, so at least you can drink while you wait.

We went for breakfast tacos, dining inside. The drive thru line was busy but the dining room was clean & quiet. Our tacos were quickly prepared & were delicious. The salsa bar was well stocked and was self serve. We really like this place for a quick breakfast.
Yummy food but I opened my go-box and one of my my taco shells was empty! I had plenty of food—portions are generous—so I didn’t starve. Probably just a fluke. Will be returning.
Good food and good prices. The steak strips in the tacos had a great grilled flavor and people loved them. Some of the egg tacos are available all day so our vegetarian was happy and full, not relegated to eating only side dishes here. Went through the drive through and ordered two dozen tacos. Wasn't busy and had a ton of staff in the kitchen but it took half an hour and had cheese mistakenly put in a few. I would go again but order ahead online.
I ordered a steak and egg breakfast burrito at the drive through. The flavor was good; the best part being the optional pico de gallo on the side, but I was disappointed with the value. When I got home I ate the whole thing then still had 1 1/2 bowls of cereal. The size of this burrito that cost over $6.50 was very disappointing. If I can I will post a picture and you be the judge.
This is by-far the worst location in the entire chain. On numerous occasions our order has been completely wrong/cold/old/overcooked. Their food consistently gets worse yet their prices continue to go up. Myself and my family have called and emailed complaints several time, but have NEVER received any response. It's worth the drive to the new location on Ralph Fair.
The food was fresh but the drive thru time was long. Overall decent experience and I will return in the future. Recommendation hire more people to help with speed of service.
I guess we are just lucky sometimes as they lost our order and after 30 minutes we had to take them our ticket to show we had ordered. They still couldn't find our order so we were compensated with chips and queso. They also threw in a margarita . Soon after we got our food and it was good. Not a bad place to eat but might not be a "fast food " place.
I ordered a cabana bowl with no meat and I told him all I wanted on it was rice, beans, lettuce, extra pico, and cilantro. I got out on the road and discovered it was covered in cheese and sour cream and I am allergic to both!!! The food is always good here, but they do not listen or observe that it's not a regular order!! They should be more careful listening and more careful making the food. Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars.
Standard and customary as chain restaurants go overall. Drive through had a line, inside had a line, 3 people were waiting, orders were a little backed, and the kitchen looked buzy! So, service was slow but they acknowledged our presence and assured us they would be with us shortly. It took about 20 minutes, the order was correct, the food was hot, and salas was even hotter. No seriously, if the orders correct, the food comes out hot, and it cost less then 20 bucks; then, by all means it's worth the wait. That's just my opinion. Enjoy. Be well. DC
No one acknowledged us when we came in. We waited about 2 minutes before a gentleman came to take our order. I believe he was the manager, he had been on his phone. Some tables were dirty and floor. Don't believe I will go back.
Used to be good tasty food. Now it's rather bland and REALLY needs salt. How can you mess up pico ? Tasteless. Drive thru staff were nice etc but the food , for such a price , was just very tasteless. Salt ! Please !
I'm traveling across the country I decided to stop here at this taco cabana. I haven't had it in over a year I ordered my food they were kind of slow, the guy told me they were under staff so I was OK with that then I noticed the guy taking people their food on trays and then coming back with the numbers that they give you to locate you, he also was still handling the food which got me very upset I told the manager I wanted my money back he did ask the guy to change his gloves but he was grabbing cheese And all kinds of things to prepare the meal with dirty gloves that he had walked around the restaurant and picking up in grabbing things that's not acceptable. Not sanitary at all. The restroom smells so horrible it's like bad plumbing or something.
The service has slowed waaaay down. Not sure who is in charge right now but it feels like no one is. This is the second time in about a week that I have been in the front for my food for at least 15 minutes. That is ridiculous. I will not be driving around moving forward. Serve me in the line or stop serving!
Drive thru takes forever and you aren't even allowed to go in to order your food, this is the only Tack Cabana that I've been to that isn't open on the inside. I understand being understaffed but it there is a car that order a lot they should pull them ahead so others aren't getting cold food. We spent 40 dollars and got food that isn't hot.
I didn’t go inside because I had it delivered but I learned pretty quickly that the Boerne Taco Cabana doesn’t cook anywhere near as well as they do in San Antonio. The first time I ordered from them I got sick and my order wasn’t right.
Expensive expensive expensive. For what you get you’d be better off at Mary’s tacos. Just had their breakfast tacos. They gave me a Barbacoa which tasted like butter mix with me and very little of it and they did not include onions cilantro or lime juice. Learn your Mexican. The other three tacos were so bland and barely had any filling to them it was mostly just a tortilla. Drive-through guy could not hear me I had to repeat myself several several times and I’ve got one of those cars that you know when it stopped it turns off the motor and I didn’t have any music playing. Got to the window asked him to takeoff his headset any sorry to hear of me just fine so whatever apparently whatever he’s listening to is more important than doing his job
Crispy taco dinner: rice/beans were ok. But the meat in the tacos was so very salty. I have complained about it for many years. We only went there as a last resort. No salsa bar anymore. The $2 Margaritas were so sweet we couldn't drink them, threw in trash. A waste of time & money. No wonder Taco Cabana recently got bought out.
Been waiting for 15 minutes watching food sitting in the window baking under the lamps for 5 & 10 minutes or more. I get the lady saying she's only one person there isnt any communication going on everyone is doing their own thing. The restaurant inside has 6 tables full but has at least a 20 minute wait. The restaurant itself is dirty. The insufficiency in their kitchen is obvious or maybe on this particular night they are missing a significant amount of their staff. Regardless the reason we won't be back.
This location of Taco Cabana has gone down hill this past year- the service and food. I was excited to have the enchiladas back and went today to get some and we’ll I ordered Green enchilada plate and when I got home it was was with red, as well it was cheese. No meat. Please train your staff better on taking orders. I may have not been specific but they could have clarified it with me before I drove to the window. I do not live close enough to just go back and get it exchanged.
TC's food quality has dropped off noticeably over the last couple of years. They don't use real sour cream, their pico is 90% onion and they are stingy with the cheese on the quesadillas so they fall apart when you try to eat them. This particular location is staffed by a bunch of people who clearly come from the shallow end of the gene pool so that you can barely even communicate with them. We used to love TC. I'm so disappointed.
Known for leaving items off your order in the drive through. It’s really frustrating to get all the way home only to find items missing. It happens far to often here. They definitely need a better confirmation system. I would ask them to show you all the items before leaving the window.
Order is always wrong and they tell us to pull around the front of the building and wait every time we order at the drive through. My husband hates going here but I sometimes make him cave and I always regret it. The place is filthy inside which I try to avoid by going in the drive thru but I am always forced to go inside to try and get the incorrect order fixed.
SO SICK OF FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT EMPLOYEES BEING RUDE AND ACTING PUT OUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO DO THE JOB THEY'RE BEING PAID TO DO!! Went inside wirh 2 hours left until they closed. There was prob 2 maybe 3 tables of people inside (the drive thru did have 3 cars in line when I parked) but i stood at the front register for almost 20 min before anyone even acknowledged me yet they all had looked at me several times. (Folks, it isn't that busy!) I would've been happy with just a "We'll be right with you."or something similar but nothing! (There was about 4 peopke in line behind me). When someone did finally come to the resgister, before I could even speak starts out with "Look, we're only making what we can rt now and won't be cooking anything that isn't already being made because everybody came at once!" WHAT?? Again, not that busy and 2 hrs left til close. So as im ordering my food, she's cutting me off at the end of every word out of my mouth so it took that much longer to order because instead of letting me finish ea item she ten had to ask all the options where I would've just ordered it that way if she wasn't cutting me off. When I ordered a side of rice i was told that they couldn't do rice rt now(1. It's a Mexican rest., 2. Why are you out of rice? It's not busy) then I tried to order a large side of pico de gallo and lg red salsa(its a to go order) and was told I could do that myself at the salsa bar. So I had to stand there and scoop up the equivalent amounts of each into tiny little cios that the lids provided would not stay on. At this point I had already been waiting approx 10 min after I ordered for my food and remembered that I forgot to order something because I was being rushed when I ordered, so when I had to go back to order them I felt almost guilty because I had to bother her again. This time she audibly huffed when she approached the register. I apologetically ordered and when I said I was sorry that I knew she was busy she didn't even look up or acknowledge that I n said anything. Wow!! 23 min later(for some context...I ordered one quesadilla and 2 bean & cheese pockets...that's it!) I was handed my order.....and it was wrong! Unbelievable
This location is hit or miss. You're going to wait at the drive through so be ready. They will likely get the order wrong. Customer service is meh, they don't seem to care. Don't get me wrong there are good people there but they don't seem to care who is on the mic. Went today and they were out of refried beans. Honestly? When asked about this oddity they just said "we're out."
Not only did they forget half of our order and I had to go back for it but they also forgot my bacon and egg tacos, then after 5 minutes to remake them I get bad tasting eggs and burnt bacon and one less taco than I was supposed to get. It's ridiculous I didn't even go back for the 3rd. Absolutely don't order at this TC
I was very hungry but after waiting more than 20 minutes and they had not even started my order I had to ask for a refund because my break was over. The manager was apologetic and said they were very busy but they were not they had more employees than they did customers they just need organization. The manager gave me a refund promptly and apologized a few times which was nice but it didn’t fill my belly
I have a family of 5. The food given to me was missing all of the items to make fajitas with my family meal, and they almost forgot to give me the chips and queso with my order. When you try to call them, no one answers. You are listening to music for 5 minutes and then you are asked to leave a message. This place is poorly managed. This is not the first time this has happened, and I shouldn’t have to drive 25 minutes back to get the rest of my order.
Actually horrible service. The steak fajita tasted and felt like I was eating a dried out cow's tongue that somehow managed to like a salt rock. 1 star for seasoning. The wait is abnormally long for to go. They trick you by making the to go line 1 car's width so you can never leave once you enter.
I just came by to get a large chicken Quesadilla. Only half of it had ingredients in it. I spoke to Tyler (manager) and asked them to remake it. I stood and watched them remake it. The other employee said, “ we are going to remake it the same way, let’s see what they say”. When Tyler came to hand it to me, I checked it and it still only had half the ingredients. I asked if they weren’t going to fix it, why did the remake it? I asked Tyler for a refund. This is not the first time. I got half a bean and cheese last time. Literally, the beans were only on half the taco and not enough to even spread it. This is the worst Taco Cabana I’ve been to. The food doesn’t taste bad. I just wish I got a full Quesadilla for my $9.99 instead of feeling like a jerk for asking them to give me what I already paid for.
I ordered my food and it came it a timely manner. Problem is the beans were not the kind I ordered and the rice looked like they scraped it from the bottom of a pan and was dry. I asked to get this corrected and got my beans and more inedible rice. I had to ask cashier would he eat it and of course the answer was no. Why would you serve something you wouldn't eat? Long story short I got a full refund while the rest of my group enjoyed their properly cooked and edible rice.
UPDATE: Since my initial review, things at this TC have gone downhill. Orders are often wrong, food is mediocre, and service is abysmal. We have not visited in several months and have no plan to return. Our go-to is now Mary's Tacos (E Blanco Rd, near the Post Office). ----------------- Good food, excellent service. A local hang-out far enough from the gobs of clueless tourists. Close enough to the Interstate that you’ll see a few fresh faces.
I hate to leave a bad review in my hometown but I just had a terrible experience. I had OVER an hour wait. Yes, over an hour and that was using the app with curbside pickup. Many cars in the drive-thru were driving away without their food. I would have given up but it was already paid for using the app. If you care to read further here is how my experience played out: Used app and ordered food with no problem. Parked in pickup spot and waited. Noticed a sign on door stating lobby closed. I figured they would see me and bring it out. I waited a little longer to no avail and decided to call them to "check-in". They told me they couldn't bring my food out due to being short staffed. They told me to get back in line in the drive-thru and they would hand me my food thru the window (WHAT????). I endured that eternal wait and finally got to the window. They then told me to pull back around to the parking area and somebody would bring it out. (WHAT????) A young lady finally brought out my food. Total time elapsed approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. I'm tired of hearing the reply from all establishments stating "we are short staffed". That excuse was ok with me for a year. Not anymore. There are other options.
Decided to make a quick stop to taco cabana for breakfast. We ordered 9 tacos and they told us to pull up so they would take it to us. It took them 40 minutes to get our food. So 1 star.
This Cabana's service is horrible!!. I ordered online so I wouldn't have wait in the drive thru. I eneded up waiting in the drive thru because they closed their dinning room. Why have the option for curbside or walk up pick up if their going to send you through drive thru? Bad for business! They NEED to get their s%^t together. I waited 40 minutes for my food in drive thru. No way I could get my money back, I prepaid 🤬 or cancel it.
The assistant manager, Tony, needs to be retake training classes on how to be a better manager. No Taco Cabana comes close to the freshest food and customer service like the one on South Side SA! Tony, please visit that location so that you could learn from the best! You seriously lack what it takes to be a great manager.
The Drive through take no less than 30 min , if and when the person inside decides to answer you while you wait in line with 4 cars behind you. They forget something in almost every order and it keeps getting worse and worse. Employees don't seem happy to be here so it makes me think it's Corp or management.
Ordered my food for dine in at 1:05 Pm on a Sunday. It is currently 1:35 PM and I still don’t have our food for three people. The drive thru line is moving but definitely not inside. During my wait nine of the sodas tasted good and the “sweet” tea had no sugar. I’m not really sure why it’s taking so long and the employees don’t seem to have an answer for how long it’s taking either.
20 minute wait per order. I just wanted bean and cheese tacos... Update! Changed from 2 star down to 1 star. Called in an online order and estimated wait time stated "65 minutes". Called the local taco cabana and they stated they would start the order now but turned out they had no beans for my dozen box of bean and cheese. I told them I wanted my order canceled but they put me on "hold". The poor girl taking my order was talking to her boss without putting me on hold and she was complaining about how she is the ONLY staff there available to prepare orders and could not even step away to clean the tables while other customers were getting upset. This poor girl could not even cancel my order but gave me an 1-800 number to call and get it canceled. Well of course no answer for 2 days from the number and turns out not only did they charge me for an order I never received or wanted, they also charged me THREE times for this order. This is the last time I ever go to a Taco Cabana. Past few times has been nothing but trouble.

Always get my order wrong. They always fix it but having to drive back every time if we don't check it first is awful. They take forever to make or remake orders. No compensation for the inconveniences. At least taco Bell gives you desert for making you wait or messing up. After several tries we won't be back. To bad because there food is good.
We had to wait 40 minutes for our food. Food brought and dropped on our table almost hitting my wife. We both had the enchilada plate. The food was cold. The enchiladas were hard with no sauce on them. We reported it to the manager who apologized. I gave him a business card and expected some kind of compensation and got nothing. It was the worst dinner we have ever had. One star is too high of a rating for the meal we got served to us.

Food is just ok but they did get my order wrong. The low rating is due to the drive thru which has the worst speaking machine I have ever heard. Every third or fourth word was cut off. Combine this with the employees quiet speaking and you get a recipe for disaster. The wrong order can’t be blamed all on the employee, because I wouldn’t be surprised if the machine also cut me off while I was ordering so they just assumed my order. It felt like speaking to a toddler where you nod your head and add little remarks , guessing what the heck they were taking about.
Items no longer available. Was told my tacos I have been getting for years was a seasonal promo item. And they still do not offer inside dining g,so you have to go through the drive through. They want to take your order 4 cars back from the menu. My passenger had never had food from here so needed to see the menu. Boy was the kid wanting to take our order frustrated. I wont go back. The food was pretty lousy!
My fiancé and I stopped here for dinner and he ordered the brisket street tacos. When he received them they looked nothing like the picture. They were no more then 3 small pieces of meat in a corn tortilla. When he went back to talk to the "manager" she said "You got what you ordered" with complete distain. When he commented about the lack of meat and how it looked nothing like the picture she proceeded to get upset with him and say there was nothing she could do. He asked if he could get something else and she snickered "For the $10 you paid you can have a Carne plate." He said that was fine. He watched her throw the Carne plate together because she was upset. He asked for tortillas and she tossed them on the counter. When he came back to the table to eat we heard the "manager" complaining very loudly to the other staff about how rude my fiancé was. Completely unprofessional and as long as she's there we won't be back.
First time visiting here as we were traveling for a birthday and it was the worse experience in awhile. As we walked in, there was nobody attending to customers at the register, we waited about 5 minutes until we were finally helped. Then the person who attended to us looked to be the manager who had a look on his face to be annoyed, he also had no smile and didn't say a word like " Hi" " welcome" or anything, all he did was stand there and waited for me to start ordering, and as I did he would press the button on the computer fast and just stare at me like "hurry up what else?" I paid, and still no word like " thank you" or anything..felt very unwelcoming. Then we sat down and the food took about 10 minutes or longer, and it wasn't much. I looked over to where the manager and workers were preparing food and noticed it was not kept clean either.There was lettuce , cheese, tomatoes scattered all over the counters with no one cleaning it, and chips were in the open air, very unsanitary! I said to myself after, " That was so horrible, I'm never coming back here ever again, probably not even ANY Taco cabana Ever." " We could of ate somewhere much better " And I hadn't been to one in over 8 years since the one in my hometown closed.. Never Again...
Very poor service. Tacos we ordered had 2- 3 small pieces of meat. It's like ordering 4 tortillas for 20 dollars. I called and employee had no want to Rectify the situation. Please save yourself time , quality, and money by going anywhere else.
They wouldn't open their doors even though online, it says they're open. But then they walk up to my car and ask me to move my car Even though I explained to them. I'm not Committing Any crimes, and I'm just Minding my business and I'm homeless. They said you're on camera, and I'm like, so what? It doesn't make a difference if no crime is being committed. Really good lawsuit, though.
The food used to be great , I went to the very first TC back in the 70's in San Antonio at San Pedro and Hildebrand and it was fantastic , I think it was started by the guy that owned the Crystal Pistol bar across the street so he could have a place his bar patrons could get some good tacos and he could keep making $ from them 🤣 but after they kept expanding and then sold the business to a national firm I had to stop eating there because the quality was barely better than a frozen TV dinner 😖
2 quesadillas took 20 minutes at 3:30 pm, not even lunch hour and manager was rude when pointed out the time delay.
They will not honor the offers.they have an offer for a chicken bacon ranch taco plate for 4.99 ,but they wanted me to pay 9.50.it is on the menu as I am writing this.they refused to honor it ,even after I showed it to them.it was the taco cabana on bandera rd ,the same for the menu I showed them.they kept saying they didn't know anything about it.
Once I got there at the menue they made us wait 10 minutes just to order are food in the drive threw and after that I thought it was gonna be good food but it was very cold and it wasn't cooked right and it just made me more hungry but as far as I could tell the atmosphere was good
They can never take an order right. I just order tortillas and queso and they forgot the queso
This place has gone down hill! The last 2 times we have picked up orders they can't get it right and the cashier couldn't count back the right amount of change. The 2 bags of chips we got were so stale you couldn't even bite into them.
We were from out of town and trying to catch a quick bit before an event. Wendy's was dirty and unfriendly so we came here, made us rethink our decision when our food arrived. My daughter ordered the Mexican plate, taco missing and all salad, her response was the taco was the best part of her cold plate. I ordered nachos thinking you can't mess up nachos, we'll you can, by not giving us any filling, hardly any beans, barely any cheese, meat was the best part, I left a full bowl of chips with nothing on them. We both left disappointed and hungry.
Over the past years, I've tried to give this TC the benefit of the doubt, but it's fallacy is apparent over several poor experiences. I ordered from an ordering app, which we know is basically "hiring" a driver to pick up food and drop it off. Half the order was missing. What did arrive was missing items we paid extra for. The toppings were smeared all over the place. The fried chips tasted like cinnamon- which is their "dessert," and means they use the same dirt6 oil. One of us is allergic to cinnamon. The items that did arrive have fingerprints of bean remnants all over them. Dirty dirty dirty. Time and time again, every experience with this establishment has been disappointing. Whether it's eating inside, with leftover trash on the tables, napkins and condiments spilled all over the floor, or having to wait 10 minutes for the drive thru person to acknowledge us, we've tried; it's apparent the owner of this establishment does not care. Spent almost $60 to feed my family for gross food no one wants or ordered. What a waste. Lesson learned - spend your money somewhere else!
This taco cabana is the worst I’ve been to, and that is consistently the case. We try to give it a shot again every couple months in hopes the other bad experiences were coincidence, but I have enough at-bats here now to know this location is systemically bad. Wait times take forever, the drive through speaker is hard to understand (for both the customer and the employees), and the food is sloppy, greedy and poorly done. Shredded chicken tacos regularly come without any chicken on them, and have about 1/4th the amount of chicken they should have on a “good” day. Whoever manages this location needs to blow up every system they have in place and start over with a new culture that isn’t an absolute dumpster fire. It’s hard for me to fathom that some people can be okay with providing such poor service, regardless of what career or job you have. This place is unacceptably terrible. Will not give this location another chance. Sucks because we used to eat TC all the time in the other cities we’ve lived in
I went through the drive thru yesterday for lunch, was asked to pull in front. When he finally brought my food the salsas I asked for were missing. I went inside and was ignored until I just told him I didn’t receive any salsas. He responded by saying “I’ll get them when I can”. He then helped someone else , went to get the salsas and threw them on the counter in front of me. Absolutely rude and uncalled for. Worst experience I’ve had there.
Called 11 times to place order for 4 boxes of Tacos. No answer. Guess they don’t need the business. Why bother offering curbside orders. Shame.
Nose dive. The Boerne location has fallen off sharply in quality, and service in the last year. Having entire entrees missing from drive through orders is now the rule, not the exception. Every single time. Do yourself a favor if using the drive through, check your order before leaving the location. You will end up having to go inside and get your missing food. This is preferable to driving back from home, or taking a credit on a future order which leaves someone with no food in the interim. The beans today were like water, and were just slopped into the tray. Management needs to be scrutinized at this location as this trend has been consistent for at least the last year. Will not personally make the mistake of another visit.
Stay away from here. Your food will not be good. I ordered 2 Carne Guisada tacos. When I opened them they had 4 small pieces of meat each. The large chicken quesadilla had 3”s of in used tortilla all around. Not to mention their Pico seems to be days old. Worst Taco Cabana I’ve ever been to and that’s saying something.
The restaurant bathroom smelled absolutely horrible, there was no one at the counter to ask questions or place an order with and there were no good meal options for diabetics except salad bowls. This was very disappointing and I did not order anything 😔
Was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in quite some time. We ordered ahead of time so we would not have to wait. When we arrived at our designated pickup time, we were told 6 to 10 minutes, 30 minutes later we went up to ask about our order, and were received with a combative rude attitude from the counter person. When we did get our food, it was lukewarm at best. The food was extremely salty, and we threw most of it away. For a $35 meal, this is completely unacceptable, this is the first and last time I will eat at a Taco Cabana… wouldn’t be surprised if this location is out of business soon, no accountability, and no customer service!!!! I will escalate this as far as I can…
I love y’all‘s fajitas. I have been ordering them since I was 18. I am now 56 if I ever traveled during work and found a taco cabana that’s all I ate all week. I love the grilled kind of charge taste not only that but the seasoning and how tender they are I now live in BOERNE and I DoorDash them quite often the last three times that I have gotten them which I get for fajita tacos at a time so we’re talking you know over 20 bucks well over 20 bucks they’re not charged. They don’t have seasoning they’re gray never do they put hot sauce in the bags. Which is so disappointing because they’re not cheap so now I’m to the point that obviously Bernie taco cabana doesn’t care about their food quality or their customer service whether it’s dying in or carry out so I really am contemplating on never being a customer again and sharing my opinion with others, which is really sad.
This location really struggles to deliver anything correctly or in any kind of timely manner. I’m currently still waiting for my order 30 min later on a Thursday afternoon for a single order of flautas. Not exactly peak times. I’m about to have to leave having paid more than 20 minutes ago with groceries starting to warm up. Literally any sit down restaurant would be half the time and twice as good
